Go Time: 8/9/06

Indianapolis, IN

Quick Rundown Results:
Gail Kim b. Kelly Schweickart
Alan Mayse b. Jamie Chan
Daizee Haze b. Zoe Alexander
Killer Kanines b. Nykk/Jay Crowe

("Neocon" opening.)

David: We are here in Indianapolis, Indiana, and now MECCA presents Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight we have a big tag match in the main event as Nykk will team with the MECCA World Champion Eddie Crowe to take on the MECCA Monster Kevin Stone and Trent Acid!

Dick: But that's not the only big match, as the number one contender for the MECCA Championship, Bryan Danielson, goes one on one with Alan Mayse, not for the Toughman Title, but as a chance for Alan to get back on the Contender Star.

David: And we're kicking things off with a tag title match, starting right now!

("Pajamarama" hits and the Eccentrics make their way to the ring.)

David: The Eccentrics are receiving this title shot as a result of last week's Triangle Tag Match, in which Huh managed to win by himself, after Cheesecake never showed up.

Dick: He doesn't seem to care about that right now, though. I guess even Cheesecake couldn't pass up the opportunity to be a MECCA Tag Team Champion again.

("Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)

David: These teams are very familiar with each other, as fans of RCW would attest. They're meeting once more tonight, and this time it's for the tag titles.

Dick: Jay and Dusty also have Ronin Fox and Cynric waiting in the wings with a guaranteed title opportunity, so they have a lot on their plate over the next couple of weeks.

(FINISH: Huh whips Jay into the ropes, and Dusty blind tags himself in. Huh hits a back body drop on Jay, and then gives him the Windbreaker. He covers, but referee David Bowers informs him that Dusty is the legal man. As Huh argues with the ref, Dusty gives him a uranage suplex. Jay gets up, and they give Huh a reverse Final Darkness, sending him face first to the mat. Dusty covers and gets the three count.)

Winners: The Pyro Twins

David: The Pyro Twins pick up another win, thanks to Huh not seeing the tag that Dusty made.

Dick: The Eccentrics were unsuccessful in regaining the tag titles, and now it's Fox and Cynric's turn to attempt to end the dominant reign of the Pyro Twins.

(Jay and Dusty leave the ring, as Huh gets to his feet. The fans applaud his effort, but Cheesecake storms into the ring, hands on his hips. Huh says he's sorry, he didn't see the tag, but Cheesecake starts berating him. Finally, he sticks his finger in Huh's face, and Huh gets hot, swatting Cheesecake's hand away. Cheesecake slaps Huh in the mouth, and then gives him a lung blower.)

David: What in the hell was that!? Cheesecake just turned on his longtime friend and partner, Huh!

Dick: He's angry that Huh cost them the tag titles, I guess.

(Cheesecake looks down in disdain at Huh, and then spits on him. He leaves the ring.)

David: Yes, Huh missed a crucial point in the match, but where the hell was Cheesecake when his partner was getting mauled? That's why it's called a team effort!

(Backstage, Katie Piehl is in the office, with Gail Kim and LuFisto standing on either side of her.)

Katie: Ladies, I asked you both here because you, Gail, won a match at Liberty or Death giving you the right to challenge for the Ladies' Title. I decided that this match should be held at Summertime Showdown on August 26, and I want to give the fans something special. That's why I'm opening the forum for suggestions on a stipulation to this match.

LuFisto: Well, Ms. Piehl, I think it's obvious that since I did beat Gail for the Ladies' Title, that I should get to choose the stipulation, since I'm the champion. That's why I propose a hardcore rematch to our great bout at Midsummer Night Slam, if you...

Gail: Hold on a minute, champ. LuFisto, I'll admit that when you were my subordinate for all those months, I thought I had you figured out. I underestimated you. And after that debacle at Midsummer Night Slam, I vowed that I would never play against my own strengths again. You've already gotten your kind of match, and I say that it's my turn. At Summertime Showdown, I want a Submission Match. I'm going to stretch you and twist you into a pretzel, and you won't have the chance to hit me with chairs or sheets or light tubes, because you won't be in a very good position.

Katie: Well, you make a good point, Gail, we have already seen a Hardcore Match. But LuFisto, you make a good point as well about the champion earning the privilege to call some of her own shots. I'll get back with you next week with my decision. Thank you, ladies.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Still More Fighting" hits and Jamie Chan makes his way to the ring, along with David Caldwell and Ryan Saito.)

David: Welcome back to Go Time, as we get set for some singles action among two regular tag team competitors.

Dick: Stage One came close to upsetting the Pyro Twins for the titles at Liberty or Death, and now it's crunch time to see if they can prove they're worthy of another shot.

("Cool" hits and the Human Tornado makes his way to the ring.)

David: The Human Tornado represents the Eccentric Alliance... or maybe he doesn't, given what Cheesecake did before the break. Nonetheless, Tornado has formed this strange team with Delirious, and you have to wonder if that's going to cause friction with another team from the Eccetnric Alliance, the CDT.

Dick: Well, I always thought the Eccentrics were too stupid to feel competitive toward each other, but after seeing Cheesecake turn on Huh, you have to wonder about the future of this group.

(FINISH: Tornado gives Chan a backdrop driver, but Caldwell gets on the apron as he covers, distracting the ref. Tornado turns his attention to Caldwell, but Chan grabs his arms from behind and Saito comes into the ring. He goes for a dropkick, but Tornado escapes and Chan takes it in the chest. Tornado gives Saito a Tornado DDT, and then gives Chan a flipping neckbreaker, rolling him over with a crucifix to get the three count.)

Winner: The Human Tornado

David: The Human Tornado comes up victorious, but it looks like Stage One isn't finished with him!

(Caldwell attacks Tornado from behind, but Tornado merely shrugs off his blows. He grabs Caldwell by the collar, but Chan attacks from behind with better forearms. Saito gets up, and they give Tornado Stage Completed.)

Dick: Stage One and David Caldwell are sending a message, and that message is that they will not be forgotten.

(Dreamo and Concession Boy run out, and Stage One clears out. The CDT help Tornado to his feet.)

David: I guess all is well in the Eccentric Alliance for now, as the Concession Dream Team has saved the Human Tornado from a bad ending here tonight. When we come back, Bryan Danielson takes on the Toughman Champion Alan Mayse in a non-title match!

(Backstage, Lisa Letty is walking down the hallway, looking troubled. She suddenly stops, and kneels down with her back against the wall. She sighs and leans with her head on her knees. Nykk then enters, and she gets back up.)

Lisa: Nykk...

(They embrace.)

Lisa: So what's the word?

Nykk: No dice. It looks like this silly clause I introduced way back when is iron clad. A conflict of interest, they called it. I mean, it was a good idea at the time, but...

Lisa: I know. I never imagined something like this would happen. I've been so happy over the last few weeks, but now... I just feel so helpless.

(Nykk sighs.)

Nykk: I just don't know what to do. I would love to be able to say that you mean the world to me, and nothing is more important, but wrestling has been my life. If who I am wasn't so coagulated with this company, this would be so much easier.

Lisa: I know how much you love MECCA... your company, Nykk. You created this, not just for yourself, but all of us and all the fans. I just want you to know that no matter what you decide, I'll support it. And I'll be with you until the very end... one way or the other.

Nykk: This is the hardest decision I've ever had to make... but I'm glad you're here by my side, Lisa. Thank you so much.

(He embraces her again, and Lisa looks like she's about to cry.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.)

David: It's time for an important match, because though this is a non-title match, this also means that the American Dragon's Contender Star spot is on the line.

Dick: He already has his guaranteed title match at Summertime Showdown, but here in MECCA, on the Contender Star is definitely where you want to be.

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)

David: Alan Mayse has been wearing that Toughman Title proudly since the MECCA Challenge II, and has done everything in his power to make that title credible.

Dick: He still holds it, which is impressive given that anybody on the roster can challenge for it.

(FINISH: Alan goes for a powerslam, but Danielson escapes and pushes him into referee David Bowers. Bowers goes down, and Danielson hits Mayse with a low blow. He applies the Crowe's Nest on Alan, and looks into the camera, challenging Eddie Crowe to come out. After a few moments, Eddie emerges through the curtain and runs to the ring. He tackles Danielson, and the two brawl around the ring. Officials arrive to separate the two.)

Winner: No Contest

David: I guess this match has been thrown out, as the ref is down, and our MECCA Champion is out here brawling with the number one contender!

Dick: Eddie is incensed that Danielson was able to get the fall on him at Liberty or Death, and Danielson talking all this trash has just been adding fuel to the fire.

David: We've got the Pyro Twins standing by, so let's go to them while our officials restore order.

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with the Pyro Twins.)

Bill: Dusty, Jay, congratulations on another successful title defense earlier, but now you move on to the number one contenders to the tag titles, Ronin Fox and Cynric.

Jay: That's right, Bill, and if you remember, we faced Fox and Cynric back at Midsummer Night Slam, and we did win. We didn't win cleanly, as Cynric decided to end the match early with that chairshot, but we did win. They knew they were going to take the fall, and they chickened out.

Dusty: This time, we won't make that mistake. There will be no question when this match is over who the winners are, or who deserves to hold these belts more. In time...

(Fox and Cynric enter.)

Fox: Oh, what's this? Are you two claiming credit for something you didn't do? You never beat us, you were never going to beat us, and now we've got you two signed to a rematch.

Cynric: And we want it at the biggest show of the summer, Summertime Showdown. Once again, live on pay-per-view, we will dominate you in the middle of that ring and fulfill our destiny.

Jay: If you want us for Summertime Showdown, you got us. Like Dusty just said, we'll put all questions to rest on August 26 if that's what we have to do.

Fox: Good. We'll be waiting for you. Because that gold is already in our hands... your only job is to bring it to us.

(Fox and Cynric leave.)

Dusty: They can make all the boasts they want, but the truth is we are the best tag team in the business today, and we've proven it over the past three years. You want your shot at the big time, Fox and Cynric? Get ready for blood and fire.

(Commercial Break)

(In the locker room, Kevin Stone is seated on a bench.)

Stone: You know, I've done a lot of things here in MECCA. I was a dominant MECCA Champion, and I ran through just about everybody to get to that title, and everybody else to keep that title. I've earned the right to challenge for anything I want, and last week, I stated that I was coming after your Toughman Title, Alan Mayse. But since then, I haven't heard from you, and I think you're trying to duck my challenge. That's not going to happen. You have until next week to accept my challenge, or you will face the consequences.

(In the arena, "Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart makes her way to the ring.)

David: Kevin Stone claims that Alan Mayse has not accepted his challenge yet, and hopefully we'll hear from Alan next week. Right now, ladies' division action is on the way as Kelly Schweickart comes to the ring.

Dick: Two up and coming females are competing right now, and I can't wait to see who comes out on top.

("TKO" hits and Zoe Alexander makes her way to the ring.)

David: Zoe Alexander has stalled a little of late, as she took losses to Lisa Letty and Daizee Haze two weeks in a row on Rundown, but now she looks to try to get back up the ladder.

Dick: If she loses again, her confidence could wane, and confidence is important in this business. She really needs a win here.

(FINISH: Kelly goes for a hardway suplex, but Zoe counters into a firewoman's carry and gives Kelly a TKO. She goes for the Zoetrope, but Kelly counters into a sunset flip for a two count. They get to their feet, and Kelly ducks a clothesline from Zoe and bounces off the ropes, headbutting her in the midsection. She gives her a snap suplex and goes up for the Kelly Cyclone. Zoe rolls out of the way, and then lifts Kelly into another firewoman's carry, hitting a double knee gutbuster. She gives her the Zoetrope, and covers for the three count.)

Winner: Zoe Alexander

David: Zoe Alexander is back on the winning track, and her goal is definitely LuFisto, the Ladies' Champion. It's time for our main event when we come back, as Nykk teams with the MECCA Champion Eddie Crowe to take on Trent Acid and Kevin Stone!

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Cheesecake, who is on his cell phone.)

Bill: I'm here with one half... well, I guess now formerly one half of the Eccentrics, Cheesecake. Cheesecake, what do you have to say for yourself after turning on your partner for so many years earlier tonight?

Cheesecake: Can't you th'ee I'm on the phone? Beat it, Bicknell!

(Cheesecake walks away, talking on his cell again.)

Bill: I guess I'm not getting anything out of him, and I don't see anyone else I want to...

(David Caldwell enters.)

Caldwell: Wait a minute, wait a minute, I've got something to say. You know, Bicknell, a few months ago it was you and me standing back here with these microphones, but look who's been promoted and look who's stuck being the prop! I manage the best team in MECCA, Stage One, and I'm also the host of the highest rated program on Go Time, the David Caldwell Project! And I have announcement to make, because next week the David Caldwell Project will return, and I have a very important guest. He is a former MECCA Champion, half owner of MECCA, and next week we're going to get to the bottom of all this controversy as Nykk will make his decision out there in that ring on my show! Eat that, Bicknell.

(Caldwell leaves.)

(In the arena, "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone and Trent Acid make their way to the ring.)

David: It's time for our main event, but what news we just received. Nykk will be on the David Caldwell Project next week to announce his decision. Will he resign as owner of MECCA for love or will he end his relationship with Lisa Letty and remain owner?

Dick: And if he does resign, who will take his place? Or will Katie Piehl buy his shares and become our full owner?

("Noots" hits and Nykk and Eddie Crowe make their way to the ring.)

David: Nykk will want to get his hands on Trent Acid, as he has been unable to score a victory over him in a singles match for their entire feud this summer. And at Liberty or Death, even with Lisa Letty as special guest referee, Acid managed to steal the win.

Dick: He didn't steal the win, he did "steel" the win, as in steel pipe. Unfortunately, it was Lisa Letty who was swinging it.

(FINISH: Stone hits the Monster Bomb on Nykk, but he's met with a missile dropkick from Eddie that sends him out of the ring. Eddie gets up to receive the Yakuza Kick from Acid, who then goes for the Shovel Driver. Nykk pulls Eddie down and Acid tries to run. Nykk grabs him by the hair, and Acid takes a swing at him. Nykk ducks and hits a German suplex into a roll up, getting the three count.)

Winners: Nykk and Eddie Crowe

David: Nykk and Eddie Crowe prove victorious, and look at Acid run!

(Nykk goes for Acid, not finished by a long shot, but Acid ducks out of the ring and exits through the crowd. Meanwhile, Lisa Letty comes down the aisle, clapping. She gets into the ring and offers her congratulations to Eddie. When she goes to hug Nykk, he seems to shy away a bit, instead clasping her hands briefly before climbing the turnbuckles to celebrate. Lisa looks a little taken aback.)

David: What was that? Nykk seems to not want to get close to Lisa out here... is this an omen for next week?

Dick: I don't know, but this hasn't been easy on Lisa either. She has to be upset.

David: Join us next week, fans, and we'll find out Nykk's decision as well as more great MECCA action!
