("Neocon" opening.)
David: We are here in Cincinnati, Ohio, and tonight MECCA presents Go Time as we are just three days away from Liberty or Death, live here on FSN! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight we have a huge eight-man tag in the main event. The MECCA Champion, Eddie Crowe, will team with Nykk and the Pyro Twins to take on Kevin Stone, Trent Acid and Stage One.
Dick: And that's not all, because Bryan Danielson will also be here and he'll take on Low Ki one on one.
David: The MECCA Ladies' Champion LuFisto will also be here to take on Misery in a non-title match and much more coming up on Go Time.
("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)
David: We're kicking things off with one half of the main event of Liberty or Death in a singles match as Low Ki makes his way to the ring.
Dick: He came to the aid of Eddie Crowe last week and shook his hand, and finally showed his respect toward his partner that we were afraid wasn't there after two weeks ago.
("The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.)
David: Danielson is the number one contender to the MECCA Championship, and will be taking on Eddie Crowe at Summertime Showdown, but first they'll test each other this weekend in the dream partner tag match.
Dick: But I wouldn't be surprised if Eddie Crowe or Kevin Stone didn't show up for this match.
(FINISH: Low Ki hits the Tidal Crush on Danielson, but Kevin Stone comes down to ringside. Low Ki goes after him, but Danielson takes advantage of the ref's distraction to hit a low blow. He rolls up Ki and gets a close two count. Stone gets on the apron to protest, but Eddie Crowe runs out of the crowd. He nails Danielson with the title belt, and Danielson falls right into an inside cradle from Low Ki, who gets the three count.)
Winner: Low Ki
David: Low Ki won the match as Eddie Crowe just gave Stone and Danielson a taste of their own medicine!
Dick: Eddie obviously knew that Stone would show up at some point, and felt he had to take action to even the odds, but he just cost the American Dragon a big match!
(Eddie and Ki taunt Danielson and Stone from the aisle as they fume in the ring.)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Gail Kim.)
Bill: Gail, you reigned for seven months as the MECCA Ladies' Champion only to finally be dethroned by LuFisto. But this Saturday at Liberty or Death, you have an opportunity to earn a rematch by winning a Triangle Match that will also include Zoe Alexander and Kelly Schweickart.
Kim: First of all, I should automatically get a rematch, seeing as how I was the greatest Ladies' Champion in MECCA history, and I was screwed out of the title to begin with by being in that stupid "hardcore" match. Let me say one thing to LuFisto: your title reign ends soon, because whether you're the champ or not after this weekend, I will be coming to get my win back. Because Zoe Alexander, though showing promise, is not at the level of the Sensation of Submission. And Kelly Schweickart... my first opponent in MECCA... I just can't seem to get rid of you. But I already beat you, and this Saturday will be no exception. And then, whether it's LuFisto or Lisa Letty, that belt is coming back where it belongs.
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, the camera turns the corner to find Eddie Crowe laying on the ground as Stage One beat the crap out of him. David Caldwell is cheering them on. As officials separate them, Bryan Danielson saunters by. He nonchalantly hands a wad of bills to Caldwell, who quickly pockets it. Danielson takes off.)
(In the arena, "My Friend of Misery" hits and Misery makes her way to the ring.)
David: What a dastardly attack by Stage One, as the MECCA Champion Eddie Crowe has been laid out in the back. It happened so suddenly that no one could come to his aid, and it now appears that Eddie is out of the eight-man tag later on. But right now we have this special non-title match in the ladies' division.
Dick: Certainly if Misery could pick up the win, she would prove that she deserves a shot at the title.
("Sold Me" hits and LuFisto makes her way to the ring.)
David: LuFisto has her first title defense set for this Saturday against the former student who she is trying to make amends with, Lisa Letty.
Dick: But the specter of Gail Kim hangs ominously in front of both of them, as she has vowed to beat Zoe Alexander and Kelly Schweickart to secure her rematch.
(FINISH: Lisa Letty comes out to scout LuFisto during the match, but Trent Acid soon joins her. He keeps trying to hit on Lisa, but she keeps brushing him off. She finally heads down toward the ring in an attempt to get away, but Acid follows her. He keeps asking her if he wants him to help her screw over LuFisto. Finally, Lisa shoves him back and in response, Acid trips Misery, who is coming off the ropes. The ref calls for the disqualification.)
Winner: Misery
David: Acid just tried to interfere for Lisa Letty, but she wanted no part of it. When will this guy take a hint? Will both Lisa and Nykk have to beat some sense into him this Saturday?
(Lisa shoves Acid again and starts yelling at him, and he pretends to not know why she's upset. After a few moments, Nykk runs down the aisle and Acid bolts. He hops the guardrail and Nykk gives chase.)
Dick: Acid's hightailing it out of here, but this didn't seem like a good way to suck up to the guest referee in his match with Nykk.
David: Acid still hasn't learned his lesson, but Nykk has assured everyone that one way or the other, Acid will stay out of his and Lisa's affairs after Liberty or Death. When we come back, we'll see the Toughman Champion in action!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Trent Acid is still running. Nykk now has a chair, and he takes a swing at Acid as he chases him down a hallway. Acid ducks and runs in the opposite direction, ducking out an exit. Nykk watches him run across the parking lot and then throws the chair down, closing the door.)
(In the arena, "Hybrid Stigmata" hits and Delirious makes his way to the ring.)
David: It looks like Acid has been chased out of the building by Nykk, and who knows if he'll even make it back for the main event tonight. We could have this match shortened to a six-man tag. But right now a special non-title challenge match as Delirious of the Eccentric Alliance goes for Alan Mayse's Contender Star spot.
Dick: Delirious is pumped up tonight, and a victory here could do wonders for him and catapult him up the rankings.
("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)
David: Alan Mayse will defend his Toughman Championship against Cheesecake this Saturday on FSN, and he seems to be looking at this as a warm-up match.
Dick: I'm sure Cheesecake considers this a policeman situation, as Delirious is in there to perhaps wear Alan down.
(FINISH: Cheesecake comes down to ringside as Delirious hits some quick lariats in the corner. He goes for a bulldog, but Alan shoves him into the corner and then kicks him, delivering the Tiger Bomb. However, Cheesecake places Delirious's arm over the bottom rope, and Alan gets up, yelling at Cheesecake. Cheesecake gets on the apron, saying that he means no harm, which allows Delirious to attack from behind. He goes for the Chemical Imbalance #2, but Alan reverses into a waistlock. He hits a German suplex for a two count, but Cheesecake again interferes by tripping Alan and making him lose the bridge. Alan gives Cheesecake a baseball slide, but that allows Delirious to finally hit Alan with the Chemical Imbalance for the pin.)
Winner: Delirious
David: Delirious just bumped Mayse off the Contender Star, but what the hell was Cheesecake doing down here anyway? He's really been having an attitude problem lately, but he just jumped over the line here!
Dick: Was Cheesecake merely helping a teammate, or was it some other way of getting into Alan's head for their match? I guess we'll find out if Cheesecake is able to take the Toughman Title at Liberty or Death.
David: This has been a night of upsets so far, but what about up next? Dreamo will take on Ronin Fox, and can Dreamo continue this trend? We'll find out when we return.
(Commercial Break)
(In the locker room, Nykk and the Pyro Twins are standing around.)
Nykk: Okay guys, so Eddie was taken out earlier, and he's off to the hospital for tonight. I chased Acid out of here, and I don't know if he's coming back or not. As of right now, this is still an eight-man tag, so we need a partner. Any ideas?
Dusty: You think Low Ki would wrestle another match tonight?
Nykk: Actually, he went to the hospital with Eddie.
Jay: Well, look at us. Any partner on a team with us is merely the fourth man. All we need is someone to absorb the beating for us until we can come in and clean house.
Nykk: Good point...
(Joey Sprinklers enters.)
Joey: Hey, guys!
Nykk: Joey.
Joey: Look, I heard ya's guys talkin' about needin' a partnah for da main event, and I love bein' in da main event... and we all got history together, ya know... and I'd just really like to be on ya team. I need to seize some opportunities while Sydal is injured, ya know?
(Nykk and the Pyro Twins smile at each other.)
Nykk: All right, Joey. You can be the fourth man on our team. You know, a couple of years ago we ran roughshod over the entire RCW, and tonight I say that the Heel Stable reunites one time only... but this time, we're the Face Stable!
(He holds out his hand, and Jay and Dusty place their hands on his. However, they break before Joey can get his hand on there, and he flounders his arm.)
(In the arena, "Sweet Dreams" hits and Dreamo stumbles to the ring, holding onto a blanket that's being dragged by Medea Knight.)
David: How about that, the scourge of RCW reunites for one time only tonight, as the Face Stable will take on Stone, Stage One and possibly Trent Acid.
Dick: I can't wait to see this one, Mills.
("Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring, along with Cynric.)
David: Ronin Fox will tangle with one half of the team that he and Cynric will be facing at Liberty or Death, but where is Concession Boy? Visa issues again?
Dick: Fox is coming to destroy Dreamo before they even step in the ring at Liberty or Death. We may find our card short one match.
(FINISH: Fox whips Dreamo into the corner, and Medea gets on the apron, preparing to set off the alarm clock. However, Cynric gets on the apron and grabs the alarm clock from her. As the ref tries to make Medea get off the apron, Fox holds Dreamo for Cynric, who slides in the ring. He charges, but Dreamo ducks/falls over, and Cynric nails Fox with the alarm clock. That sets it off, and Dream leaps to his feet. He dropkicks Cynric through the ropes and then gives Fox a flapjack. He applies the Morning Stretch, and then rolls back into a cradle for the pin.)
Winner: Dreamo
David: I can't believe it! Another upset as Dreamo picks up the win over Ronin Fox!
Dick: Thanks once again to that damn alarm clock!
(Dreamo and Medea rush to the back as Cynric gets back in the ring.)
David: This is going to infuriate Fox and Cynric even more, but it definitely gives the Concession Dream Team a psychological advantage going into Liberty or Death. We'll be back with our main event, but first we understand that our cameras have caught up with Lisa Letty.
(Backstage, Lisa is knocking on the door of the women's locker room. LuFisto opens it.)
Lisa: There you are, Lu. Listen, I know you probably think what happened out there was some kind of revenge for the past, but I assure you, I only came out to scout. Trent Acid is a schmuck, and I told him not to go near the ring. Okay? I'm so sorry about that.
LuFisto: Lisa, I know you probably had nothing to do with that, but you've got a title shot for my belt coming up. I handpicked you specifically. I'll have none of this other crap in our match. You better put all your other issues aside for the time we're in the ring together, because I like being Ladies' Champion, and I plan on keeping things that way, whether or not my own student stands in my way.
(LuFisto slams the door shut.)
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Ronin Fox and Cynric. Fox is holding his head.)
Bill: Fox, Cynric, we just saw what happened out there with Dreamo, as he scored a big upset by pinning your shoulders to the mat, Fox.
Fox: Stop right there, Bill, because I assure you that Dreamo will never be in that position again. After Liberty or Death, there won't even be a Dreamo anymore because he's going to be Deado.
Cynric: CDT, Eccentric Alliance, you think you can pull this crap on us one more time? We beat the Eccentrics within an inch of their lives, and you two are going to experience something similar, yet ten times worse this Saturday. My brother and I have our sights set on the tag titles, and you two just happen to be in our way. We're going to have you two for lunch, our dinner will be the tag team champs, and then we get our just desserts, the MECCA Tag Team Championship.
Fox: And then go down as the best brother tandem in wrestling history!
(Fox and Cynric storm away.)
(In the arena, "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone and Stage One make their way to the ring, accompanied by David Caldwell.)
David: It's time for our eight-man main event, but still no Trent Acid. Don't tell me Caldwell is going to take his place.
Dick: I don't think so, but they must have a plan because there's no way they'd let this match be four on three.
("Seek and Destroy" by Metallica hits and the Face Stable make their way to the ring.)
David: It was about two and a half years ago that the Heel Stable comprised of Nykk, Joey Sprinklers and the Pyro Twins formed, and they turned out to be the most dangerous incarnation of that group. Now, they've reunited for one night only, but with the fans on their side this time.
Dick: They won't hesitate to use any of their old tactics in this one, though, especially with the hatred that exist between members of these teams now.
(FINISH: Acid emerges from under the ring halfway through the match, clotheslining Joey to turn the tide for his team. After a few minutes, Joey ducks a clothesline and hits Jamie Chan with a front dropkick. He makes the tag to Nykk, who hits Chan with a running back elbow and then takes down Saito with a running leg lariat. He gives Chan a snap suplex and goes to the top rope, hitting the Swan Splash. He goes for the Cedarleaf, but Acid runs in and nails him with a Yakuza Kick from behind. The two teams come in and brawl, and the Pyro Twins clothesline Saito over the top rope. Acid gives Dusty a knee from behind to send him to the outside and then tries a Yakuza Kick on Nykk. He catches Acid's foot and prepares for a leg cradle suplex, but Stone clotheslines him from behind. He kicks Joey and delivers a Monster Bomb, but as he's celebrating the Pyro Twins get back in the ring and double team him with rights to the midsection. They whip him into the ropes and send him down with a double flying shoulder tackle. Stage One attack from behind, and Saito goes for Go to Sleep on Jay. Jay escapes behind and dropkicks him into Chan. Stone gets up, but the Pyro Twins give him a double flapjack, and Joey meets him with a facebuster on the way down. Chan tries to crawl out of the ring, but Nykk pulls him back and applies the Scorpion Version. Chan soon taps out.)
Winners: The Face Stable
David: The Face Stable get the tap out victory, though Nykk did not get his hands on Acid like he's wanted to all night.
Dick: He'll have to save it for Liberty or Death, where he'll take on Acid with Lisa Letty as the special guest referee!
David: Plus the Pyro Twins defend against Stage One, a dream partner main event and much more! We'll see you then!
