Ronin Fox b. Matt Sydal

("Neocon" opening.)

David: Tonight, MECCA presents Go Time live from Toledo, Ohio! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight we'll hear from the man who beat twenty-four other men in Six Man Apocalypse this past Saturday, Bryan Danielson!

Dick: And in the main event, Nykk and Trent Acid will finally face each other one on one as a result of what happened last week.

David: And the Killer Kanines have challenged Jay and Eddie Crowe to a rematch, and that will happen right here tonight!

("Dance Commander" hits and Heather Star makes her way to the ring.)

David: The ladies' division is set to kick of Go Time, and Heavenly Heather Star has to be disappointed following her loss to Zoe Alexander at Midsummer Night Slam.

Dick: She has a chance to rebound tonight, but she didn't get the revenge she wanted, and that has to be eating away at her.

("Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow makes her way to the ring.)

David: Shadow has been making some noise about going after the Ladies' Title once again, and a good way to get started is with a victory over a solid competitor like Star.

Dick: Shadow is a former Ladies' Champion and it was just about a year ago that she won the belt, only to lose it not even two months later. Now that we have a brand new Ladies' Champion in LuFisto, she may be seeing another opportunity for a run at the top.

(FINISH: Star goes for the Falling Star Press, but Shadow gets her knees up. She gets to her feet and whips Star into the ropes. She goes for the Interceptor, but Star blocks it and rolls Shadow up with a backslide for a two count. Shadow rolls through and gives Star a jawbreaker. She then gives her the Skullbuster and then applies the dragon sleeper. She locks in the bodyscissors, and Star taps out.)

Winner: Shadow

David: Shadow gets the win by submission, and she definitely looks like she's ready to be a threat once again.

Dick: Shadow is definitely looking sharp out there.

David: When we come back, Cynric will be here and will take on Dreamo, plus we understand that Katie Piehl has announcement about a Wild Card opportunity for next week.

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, LuFisto is walking down a hallway with the Ladies' Title, when she comes across Shadow.)

Shadow: LuFisto, my former teammate. You know, I still haven't forgotten about the way you abandoned me and helped make Gail Kim the new leader of the Dangerous Liaison, after it was me who won that very belt and created the most dangerous force in women's wrestling. But look at you now, you've got the belt, and that's just coincidence, right? No. When you saw an opportunity, you took it if it took you that much closer to the title. But I'm warning you right now, the same way you challenged your former teammate for the belt, I'm doing the same. I'm coming after you and that belt, and when I do, I will regain what's rightfully mine, and you're not going to be able to do a damn thing about it.

LuFisto: Well, thanks for the warning. I have no doubt that you will come after this belt, but when you do, you'll find out why I'm the Ladies' Champion and it's not because I took opportunities, thought that certainly helped. I did this on my own. You needed three others to win this title last year. But for now, you're going to have to wait. I've got something to say to an old friend.

(She walks away.)

(In the arena, "Soul Creation" hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring, along with Ronin Fox.)

David: I wonder what LuFisto meant by that, but we've got our first men's singles match of the night for you, as Cynric is coming off an unsuccessful bid at the tag titles this past Saturday.

Dick: He and Ronin Fox were disqualified after Fox hit Jay Crowe with a chair, but they were having a phenomenal match up to that point. Fox and Cynric definitely proved that they have what it takes to be MECCA Tag Team Champions, even if Midsummer Night Slam wasn't their night.

("Sweet Dreams" hits and Dreamo stumbles to the ring, with Medea Knight assisting him.)

David: The narcoleptic Dreamo is set for action, as he is one half of the Concession Dream Team and part of the Eccentric Alliance. But he has a tough test in one of MECCA's mainstays.

Dick: Cynric looks ready to kill, because he also came up short in the Six Man Apocalypse that Bryan Danielson won. Now he's out two titles.

(FINISH: Cynric goes for the Shock Cannon, but Dreamo escapes and tries an Okana Roll, getting a two count. Dreamo bounces off the ropes, but Cynric meets him with a reverse crescent kick. Dreamo sits up, and Cynric ties up his arm with both of his legs. He leans back and hooks Dreamo's head and leg with his own legs, twisting Dreamo into an unnatural position. After Cynric locks his legs, Dreamo taps out.)

Winner: Cynric

David: Cynric picks up the victory with a new submission hold that we haven't seen before. Dreamo was tied up like a pretzel.

Dick: I hear he likes those midnight snacks.

(Fox rolls into the ring with a chair, and proceeds to beat Dreamo senseless with it as Cynric stomps on him.)

David: What are they doing? That's enough, guys!

(Fox kicks Dreamo in the balls and then throws him out of the ring. Cynric gets a mic.)

Cynric: As far as we're concerned, we are the uncrowned Tag Team Champions! Pyro Twins, you escaped by the skin of your teeth, and don't think that we're not finished with you.

Fox: Jay, Dusty, you just saw right here just a little taste of what we're willing to do to beat you. So hold those belts close while you can, because you're headed for a Dead End!

("Soul Creation" plays and Fox and Cynric leave the ring.)

David: Fox and Cynric want their intentions known, as they assert their bid for a rematch.

Dick: After their performance at Midsummer Night Slam, I say give it to them.

David: We'll be right back with the Killer Kanines vs. Jay and Eddie Crowe. Stay with us!

(Commercial Break)

(In the office, Katie Piehl is facing the camera.)

Katie: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and from myself and Nykk to all of you, thank you for joining us this past weekend for Midsummer Night Slam, as we found out that it will be Bryan Danielson who headlines Summertime Showdown for the MECCA Championship. Note that I didn't say he will be facing Eddie Crowe, because Eddie may not make it to August 26 with what I have in mind. Next week, right here on Go Time, we will have a special Wild Card opportunity, which means that competitors not on the Contender Star will get a chance at the title. There will be two random tag matches, and the winners of those matches will go on to face each other at the end of the night in a Four Corners match. The winner of that match will get a shot at Eddie's MECCA World Championship right here on Go Time on July 19. The men who will be competing are Nykk... the Eccentrics Huh and Cheesecake... Trent Acid... Delirious... Ronin Fox... and S-Squared Joey Sprinklers and Matt Sydal. I certainly wish those gentlemen luck and can't wait to see who faces Eddie on July 19. Thank you for your time, fans, and I'll send it back to the arena.

(In the arena, "Kobrakai" hits and the Killer Kanines make their way to the ring.)

David: How about that, a Wild Card opportunity right here next week? What an eclectic group that was. I can't wait to see what the teams are.

Dick: They're random, so we could even have the Eccentrics facing off against each other.

("Noots" hits and Eddie and Jay Crowe make their way to the ring.)

David: The Killer Kanines felt embarrassed that they lost to an inexperienced team like Eddie and Jay last week, and requested this rematch.

Dick: There's no shame in losing to the MECCA World Champion and one half of the tag champs, but the Kanines want shots at those belts and this is a good way to get them.

(FINISH: Anubis goes for a big boot on Eddie, who catches his foot and throws it between the ropes. Jay dropkicks Anubis just like the previous week, and Anubis makes a show of going over and getting stuck. Jay gives the Wild Wolf a spinning heel kick as Eddie goes to the top rope. Jay lifts Wolf for the Overhaul, but Anubis powers himself back into the ring and charges Jay, hitting him with the big boot. Wolf lands on his feet and runs to the ropes, crotching Eddie. He goes up as Anubis ascends the adjacent corner, and they give him the Dog Catcher. Wolf covers and gets the three count.)

Winners: The Killer Kanines

David: The Killer Kanines just outsmarted their opponents, but Anubis was faking the whole time.

Dick: What a big win for the Killer Kanines, as they've avenged their loss from last week.

David: The Killer Kanines may be making inquiries about title shots soon, but when we come back a different title will be on the line as Alan Mayse defends his Toughman Title!

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Lisa Letty and Nykk are in the catering area.)

Lisa: See, I told you every cloud has its silver lining. You may have not won the Six Man Apocalypse...

Nykk: Thanks to Acid!

Lisa: ...but you have another opportunity for a title match next week. Or look at it this way... another chance to get your hands on Acid.

Nykk: That won't matter, because after what I do to him tonight, Katie will have to find a replacement next week. I don't think he'll be feeling up to it.

(LuFisto enters.)

LuFisto: Lisa. Can I talk to you?

Lisa: Uh, okay.

Nykk: I'll leave you two alone.

(Nykk leaves.)

LuFisto: Look, I just want to finally apologize for everything that I've put you through since MECCA began. You really saved my butt a couple of weeks ago, and it made me realize how wrong I've been. So even though we've had our differences, we still have that teacher-student bond. And it would be my honor to give out the first shot at my Ladies' Title to my star pupil, the same student that beat me to become the first Ladies' Champ. What do you say, Lisa?

Lisa: Well, I certainly didn't expect this. Lu, you've done a lot of things to me over the past year and a half. I don't even think of you as a mentor anymore. You're just another one of the girls to me. So not from student to teacher, but from wrestler to wrestler, I will take you up on that offer, as soon as I've done something to earn it.

(Lisa walks away.)

(In a hallway, Huh is getting ready for his match, and Cheesecake is next to him.)

Cheesecake: I can't believe you challenged Alan May'th'e to a title shot. I was going to do that! Why do you pick now to th'uddenly th'tart emulating your role model?

Huh: I miss having a belt. (holds out his pants by the waist) You see this? I've been dropping weight ever since MECCA started, and my pants don't fit anymore. I need something to hold them up.

Cheesecake: The'th belt'th are not for holding up pant'th. If you manage to win tonight, don't expect any le'th of me. I will be coming for a title shot.

(Cheesecake leaves.)

Huh: But you're my friend. Why would you want to fight your friend? ("Pajamarama" starts playing over the speakers) That's my music!

(In the arena, Huh makes his way to the ring.)

David: We've got a Toughman Title match right now, as Huh has challenged the reigning champion Alan Mayse. He looks pumped for his first title opportunity in a long time.

Dick: But I think Cheesecake wants a title too. Have these morons even heard that they're in this Wild Card thing next week?

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)

David: Alan Mayse got a bit of a reprieve at Midsummer Night Slam, as he was involved in Six Man Apocalypse and not defending his title, but now it's back to the grind for our Toughman Champion.

Dick: At least he's pacing himself and starting off slow.

(FINISH: Huh goes for the moonsault, but Alan gets his knees up. He tries a clothesline, but Huh blocks it and counters with a neckbreaker. He picks Alan up and goes for a bulldog, but Alan pushes him into the corner. Huh hits chest first, and backs up into a flying kick from Alan. Huh bounces forward into the top turnbuckle and then turns around to get a hard dropkick to the face. Huh goes limp and falls to the mat, and the ref checks him. He sees that he's unconscious and calls for the bell.)

Winner: Alan Mayse

David: Huh just got knocked out courtesy of our Toughman Champion, and of course, in Toughman Championship matches you can win by knockout.

Dick: Huh just got pasted by Mayse, and he's out of commission for the rest of the night at least.

(Alan checks on Huh to make sure he's all right.)

David: Just like Alan to always be thinking of his opponent's well being, especially if he respects him.

Dick: Then why is he checking on Huh?

David: When we come back, we'll have our main event of Nykk vs. Trent Acid!

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Bryan Danielson.)

Bill: Bill Bicknell here with the man who won the Six Man Apocalypse match at Midsummer Night Slam, the American Dragon Bryan Danielson. Bryan, you outlasted twenty-four other men for one thing: to get a shot at the MECCA Champion in the main event of Summertime Showdown on August 26. Congratulations on winning the first ever Six Man Apocalypse.

Danielson: Thank you, Bill, and yes, it was a glorious day this past Saturday. I feel vindicated, as I was left out of the number one contender match a few weeks beforehand. I showed the world that Bryan Danielson deserves to be at the top of MECCA. Just like I deserve to be at the top of ROH, just like I deserve to be at the top of FIP, I deserve to be at the top wherever I go. But as glorious as that moment was, it will be beyond glorious on August 26, when I win the MECCA World Championship. Now, Eddie Crowe, or Harbinger of Sorrow if that's what you want to call yourself, I know you have a title defense coming up on July 19, but I hope you do get past that challenge and make it to Summertime Showdown. Because I want to defeat the best to win my World Title, and you are definitely the best in MECCA right now. I'm coming for what you've got, and I will show why Bryan Danielson isn't just the best wrestler in MECCA, but the best wrestler in the world.

(In the office, Katie Piehl is talking on the phone when David Caldwell barges in.)

Caldwell: Katie, I need to speak with you.

Katie: Hold on a minute.

(Caldwell grabs her cell phone and hangs it up.)

Katie: What the hell are you doing?

Caldwell: I'm here on behalf of the team that I represent, Jamie Chan and Ryan Saito, Stage One. As you know, they've been climbing the ranks recently, defeating the likes of S-Squared, Tornado and Delirious and they even beat former tag champs the Eccentrics a couple of weeks ago on Rundown. What I'm here for is demanding that they wrestle the Pyro Twins for the MECCA Tag Team Championship at Liberty or Death. They have not been beaten yet, and they deserve this opportunity.

Katie: Stage One vs. The Pyro Twins? I'll have to think about that. I'll get back to you later.

Caldwell: What are you talking about? They're undefeated, they deserve...

Katie: Listen, Caldwell, I don't appreciate you barging in here like you own the place and hanging up on my conversation. And Stage One are not undefeated. I watch Rundown too, you know. If you want a match for your team, try being a little professional. I said I'll think about it.

(Caldwell grunts in frustration and storms out of the office.)

(In the arena, "I'm a Soldier" hits and Trent Acid makes his way to the ring.)

David: It's time for our main event, which I'm sure Nykk has been waiting for since last week.

Dick: The Six Man Apocalypse was down to two men on Saturday: Bryan Danielson and Nykk. It was Acid that attacked Nykk's knee with a steel pipe and allowed Danielson to make him tap to a bridging figure-four. Now he'll have to answer for that.

("Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring, along with Lisa Letty, who is carrying a steel pipe.)

David: Nykk didn't come alone, and I don't even know if he's concerned about winning this one. Of course, Acid has been hitting on Lisa Letty recently, which Nykk has taken exception to, and now he's got the steel pipe that he was Kerriganed with on Saturday.

Dick: Nykk has red in his eyes, and he's looking right at Acid. What a hate filled contest we're about to see.

(FINISH: Nykk hits a leg lariat on Acid from the top rope and covers for a two count. He calls for the pipe, and Lisa throws it to him. Referee David Bowers tries to get it away from Nykk, which allows Lisa to enter the ring and smack Acid across the face. Acid grabs her, but instead of hitting her, plants a kiss on her as the ref finally gets the pipe away from Nykk. He throws it to the floor. Nykk tackles Acid and hits him with right hands. Acid scrambles out of the ring, and Nykk leans through the ropes, putting Acid in a chokehold. Acid manages to pick up the pipe and hits Nykk in the face with it as the ref attempts to get Lisa to leave the ring. She does so, and Acid rolls back in, getting the three count as Lisa yells in protest.)

Winner: Trent Acid

David: Acid just waffled Nykk with that pipe once again, and picks up the victory as a result! What a cheap way to win!

Dick: It was Nykk who introduced the pipe to the match, and it backfired on him. All it got him was a loss, and it got Lisa a kiss on the lips.

David: She might want to wash her mouth out with soap after that one... for about a year.

(Lisa checks on Nykk as Acid blows another kiss to Lisa before leaving ringside.)

David: I'm sure we haven't seen the last of this feud, as Nykk will be pissed off to no end when he regains possession of his faculties. For Dick Broccoli, I'm David Mills. We will see you next week!
