Quick Rundown Results:
Kelly Schweickart b. Daizee Haze, Gail Kim
Anubis/Stage One b. Human Tornado/CDT
Nykk b. Wild Wolf
("Neocon" opening.)
David: We are here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and MECCA presents Go Time right here on FSN! We've got Punked Out coming up in just three days, but tonight we'll have a six-man main event for you. Low Ki will team with the Killer Kanines to take on the EDJ.
Dick: We'll also see Ronin Fox and Cynric take on Nykk and Alan Mayse in tag team action.
David: Plus, two matches from the ladies' division as Zoe Alexander takes on Misery, and Kelly Schweickart faces Daizee Haze!
("The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.) David: We're kicking things off with a match accepted last week, as Bryan Danielson will face off with Cheesecake.
Dick: Cheesecake wanted this match for Punked Out, but Danielson doesn't do anything the way people want it, so he decided he'd rather have the match right here tonight.
("It's Raining Men" hits and Cheesecake makes his way to the ring.)
David: This issue was set up after Danielson tried to humiliate Huh after their match, only to have the tables turned when Cheesecake came to the rescue.
Dick: Danielson wasn't about to let that slide, even if Cheesecake hadn't wanted a match.
(FINISH: Cheesecake goes for the Long Kiss Goodnight, but Danielson counters into the Cattle Mutilation with his feet close to the ropes. Huh runs down and grabs Danielson's legs, causing him to fall to his back. Cheesecake rolls forward onto him and gets the surprise three count.)
Winner: Cheesecake
David: Cheesecake just pinned Bryan Danielson in the middle of the ring!
Dick: Wait a minute, that was thanks to Huh! I call shenanigans!
David: Nonetheless, Danielson has been beaten. This isn't going to sit well.
(Cheesecake hugs Huh and they race up the aisle as Danielson goes berserk in the ring.)
David: We'll be back with the ladies' division, but right now Bill Bicknell is with LuFisto.
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with LuFisto.)
Bill: LuFisto, last week you confronted your former friend Gail Kim and demanded a title match from her. She agreed, and then tried to knock you out with the belt. Has she lived up to her word?
LuFisto: She did, Bill, and I will be facing Gail this Saturday at Punked Out. Live on FSN, I fulfill my destiny and become the Ladies' Champion, something that should have happened right from the start in MECCA. But be that as it may, Gail, you are nothing but a filthy snake in the grass who never lived up to the deal that we reached. However, I keep my promises, and I promise that I will take that title from you. I'll see you on the 28th.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "My Friend of Misery" hits and Misery makes her way to the ring.)
David: We're back with ladies' division action coming your way, and we just found out before the break that the Ladies' Title Match between Gail Kim and LuFisto will take place this Saturday at Punked Out, live on FSN.
Dick: That should be a great match, and a tremendous opportunity for LuFisto.
("TKO" hits and Zoe Alexander makes her way to the ring.)
David: As we're seeing tonight, the ladies are jockeying for position to face whoever comes out of Punked Out as the champ, and Zoe Alexander is looking to rebound after losing a tag match last week.
Dick: Zoe still seems a little angry about that, but there's a little chance for revenge by beating Misery tonight.
(FINISH: Zoe is in control throughout most of the match, but Misery manages to take control with a flapjack, followed by a dropkick to the face. However, when she comes off the top rope, Zoe gives her a spinning heel kick to knock her out of midair. She snapmares Misery over and kicks her in the spine three times, then somersaults forward and gives her a dropkick to the face. She gives her some knee strikes to the face and then pushes her into the corner. She bounces off the ropes and hits a jumping knee strike, following up with the Zoetrope. She covers and gets the three count.)
Winner: Zoe Alexander
David: Zoe gets the win after straying from her technical style and showing an aggressive streak on Misery.
Dick: She seems to have a bit of an attitude lately, and I think that stems from floundering in the ladies' division for so long.
David: When we come back, Ronin Fox and Cynric will take on Nykk and Alan Mayse.
(Backstage, Katie Piehl is in her office when there's a knock at the door.)
Katie: Come in.
(Bryan Danielson enters.)
Katie: American Dragon, what can I do for you?
Danielson: Ms. Piehl, this thing with the Eccentrics has gone far enough. I stretched Huh into submission last week, and he's such a sore loser that he had to interfere and cost me the match against his partner tonight. I want a rematch with Cheesecake for Punked Out, and I want the entire Eccentric Alliance banned from ringside.
Katie: I thought you wrestled where you wanted and when you wanted. Guess that didn't work out so well for you tonight, did it? Why should I give you that match after the disrespectful way you acted last week?
Danielson: Because I'm the best wrestler in the world, and me not being on the Contender Star is a detriment to this promotion and to the wrestling business as a whole. Put me in the ring with Cheesecake, and I'll show you that I'm worthy of a title shot down the line.
Katie: Well, I do want to see you and Cheesecake in a fair contest, so I'm going to give you what you want this time. Cheesecake vs. Danielson, no Eccentrics allowed at ringside. And as for title shots, stick around, because after the next match, I have something interesting to announce.
Danielson: Thank you, Ms. Piehl.
(Danielson leaves.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox and Cynric make their way to the ring.)
David: We're back on Go Time, and now it's time for some tag team action as the brothers Ronin Fox and Cynric are gearing up for action.
Dick: Cynric will face Nykk this Saturday at Punked Out, and Nykk has vowed to take Cynric's spot on the Contender Star. For now, they're going to test each other's mettle in this tag match.
("Destroy" hits and Nykk and Alan Mayse make their way to the ring. Alan has his forehead bandaged.)
David: The Toughman Champion Alan Mayse also has a big match coming up at Punked Out, as he will face the man he beat to win the title, Trent Acid, in a First Blood Match.
Dick: He still has his head bandaged from that attack last week, which is like painting a bulls eye for Acid. He is at a distinct disadvantage going into the match.
(FINISH: Cynric goes for the Lift Off on Nykk, but Nykk counters with a dragon screw legwhip and applies the Cedarleaf. Fox comes in and gives Nykk the Tail End to break it up. Alan hits Fox with a running forearm, and then picks Cynric up. He goes for the Tiger Bomb, but Cynric starts hitting Alan in his wounded forehead. Alan falls to the mat with Cynric on top of him. Nykk forearms Cynric and whips him into the ropes, but Cynric reverses. Fox grabs Nykk and holds him in place as Cynric gives him a modified Lift Off. Nykk staggers to the middle of the ring, and Cynric gives him the Shock Cannon, covering for the three count.)
Winners: Ronin Fox and Cynric
David: Fox and Cynric pick up the victory, but more importantly, Cynric just showed that he can pin Nykk in the middle of the ring.
Dick: Nykk's chances aren't looking that great now, are they?
David: At Punked Out, Cynric won't have Fox to aid him. Be that as it may, he was victorious here tonight. And now, let's go to Katie Piehl, who has a big announcement.
(In the office, Katie Piehl is standing in front of her desk.)
Katie: Hello, fans of MECCA. I wanted to take a break from the action for just a bit to tell all of you about something that is going to make MECCA's summer schedule much more exciting. At Summertime Showdown in August, the MECCA Champion will face the number one contender. How will we get that number one contender? At Midsummer Night Slam on June 24, live on pay-per-view, we will have a match to determine that challenger. It's called Six Pack Apocalypse, and as you can probably guess, it involves six men in the ring at a time. I will announce the rules next week, so be sure to stay tuned to Go Time for all the information. Thank you, and we'll be right back.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Sensi" hits and Daizee Haze makes her way to the ring.)
David: Welcome back, and we just heard Katie Piehl announce a new way to name a challenger for Summertime Showdown at the end of August. It will be a match called Six Pack Apocalypse on June 24, but we don't know anything about it except that it involves six men in the ring at the same time. But right now, we have more ladies' division action, as Daizee Haze is looking to earn a rematch for the MECCA Ladies' Championship.
Dick: Daizee feels she was cheated out of her last opportunity, and she's going to be looking for revenge on Gail Kim.
("Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart makes her way to the ring.)
David: Kelly Schweickart would also love another shot at Gail Kim, after the shenanigans she pulled this past winter.
Dick: Kelly is certainly a worthy contender at any time, and she's even willing to step into the ring with her friend Daizee to prove that she deserves a shot.
(FINISH: Kelly goes for the Kelly Cyclone, but Daizee moves. She bounces off the ropes for a Yakuza Kick, but Kelly avoids it and hits a hardway suplex. Daizee bounces backwards to her feet, and Kelly goes for a high knee. She misses, and Daizee plants her with a Daizee Cutter, followed by a brainbuster. She covers and gets the three count.)
Winner: Daizee Haze
David: Daizee wins it, and is probably now in the top tier to face whoever comes out victorious at Punked Out.
(Daizee helps Kelly up and they embrace.)
Dick: They're all hugs and kisses now, but what these women want more than anything is the Ladies' Title.
David: No doubt about that, but maybe we'll see a rematch if Daizee does manage to capture the Ladies' Title down the line.
(Backstage, Alan Mayse is walking with a purpose. He stops in front of the locker room door and then barges in. Trent Acid is sitting on a bench, and Alan attacks him. He rams him into some lockers and then starts hitting him in the face.)
Alan: You want to bust me open? You want the advantage for Saturday? You got it! But answer me one thing... how are you going to make me bleed if you can't walk?
(Alan grabs a chair and starts hitting Acid across the leg with it. After about four times, Acid kicks Alan in the balls. Alan drops the chair and goes down. Acid limps to his feet and grabs the chair. He cracks Alan over the head as officials come in to break it up.)
Acid: I'll find a way, Mayse. That Toughman Title is coming to me!
(Acid limps away as Alan gets up. His bandage has peeled off, and he's bleeding from the forehead again.)
(In the arena, "Cool" hits and the Human Tornado and Delirious make their way to the ring.)
David: Alan Mayse was once again busted open by Trent Acid, and I really don't see how easier it could be for Acid at Punked Out. He has Alan dead to rights, having not let his wound heal for the past couple of weeks.
Dick: It's definitely a desperate situation for Alan on Saturday, but he's risen to challenges before.
("Still More Fighting" from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children hits and Stage One make their way to the ring, along with David Caldwell.)
David: We saw this new team last week, as they jumped Joey Sprinklers on the David Caldwell Project, and Caldwell revealed that they were called Stage One. But the question is, Stage One of what?
Dick: I don't know, but they seem like a formidable team. We're about to see what they have to offer.
(FINISH: Delirious goes for Shadows Over Hell on Chan, but he moves out of the way, and Saito gives him a roaring forearm that sends him through the ropes. Tornado dropkicks Chan into Saito and then sets up Chan for a Tornado DDT. Caldwell grabs Tornado's ankle, and Tornado kicks him away. However that allows Chan to throw him off, and he and Saito give Tornado a double STO. Saito covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: Stage One
David: Chan and Saito are victorious with a move that they call Stage Completed. And David Caldwell had absolutely nothing to do with that victory, I'm sure.
Dick: Caldwell seems proud of his new team.
(Caldwell tells Stage One to keep going, and they start beating down Delirious. Saito throws Tornado to the floor, and lifts Delirious into a fireman's carry, giving him Go to Sleep. Joey Sprinklers and Matt Sydal run down and attack Stage One. They whip them into the ropes, but Chan and Saito hold on and roll out of the ring. Caldwell leads them up the aisle.)
David: S-Squared has saved the day, and Joey wants some revenge for what happened to him last week, but Caldwell is getting his team out of here.
(Joey gets a mic.)
Joey: Hold on there, Caldwell. You didn't think you could did what you did last week and getta way wid it, did ya? Why don't ya bring yer team to Punked Out? Me and Sydal'll be waitin' for ya's.
(Caldwell walks up and Joey throws him the mic.)
Caldwell: You think that you two rejects can take on my pride and joy, Stage One? Fine. We'll show up at Punked Out, but be warned, you two aren't even a blip on the radar. We're on to bigger and better things, and all roadblocks will have to be removed, some permanently.
David: Strong words from Stage One's manager, but we have a tag team match for Punked Out now! We'll be right back with our main event.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, David Mills and Dick Broccoli are at the announcers' booth.)
David: Thank you for coming back with us here on Go Time, fans, and we're set for our six-man main event. But first, be sure to tune in to FSN live this Saturday for Punked Out, because in the main event, the MECCA Championship will be on the line as Eddie Crowe takes on Low Ki!
Dick: Also, the Pyro Twins' first tag title defense will happen as they defend against the Killer Kanines. And for the Toughman Title, Alan Mayse will defend against Trent Acid in a First Blood Match.
David: Also, the Ladies' Title will be on the line as LuFisto goes against her former associate Gail Kim. Nykk will attempt to take Cynric's spot on the Contender Star, and just signed tonight, Cheesecake will take on Bryan Danielson in a rematch from last week, and Stage One will do battle with S-Squared. Be sure to join us this Saturday on FSN!
("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki and the Killer Kanines make their way to the ring.)
David: These three men will be the challengers for the MECCA and Tag Team Titles respectively on Saturday. Low Ki claims he is ready to fulfill his destiny and become the MECCA Champion. The Killer Kanines look to dethrone the Pyro Twins in their first title defense after it took them a year to win the belts.
Dick: And all three could legitimately do it. What a night it would be if all the champions who won their titles at the MECCA Challenge lost them within a month.
("Fire" hits and the EDJ make their way to the ring.)
David: Eddie, Dusty, Jay, the EDJ is coming to show the Kanines and Ki how it's going to go on Saturday.
Dick: We'll see how well these three are at staying on top of the mountain once they've gotten there.
(FINISH: Low Ki goes for the Ki Krusher on Dusty, but Eddie clips his knee, and Dusty falls on top for a two count. Anubis clotheslines Eddie over the top rope as Jay backdrops the Wild Wolf over the top rope on the other side of the ring. Jay and Dusty converge on Anubis, pelting him with right hands to the midsection. They whip him into the ropes, but he sends them both head over heels with a double shoulder block. However, Eddie gets on the top rope and dropkicks Anubis from behind, sending him to the floor. The Wild Wolf pulls Eddie to the floor and rams him into the guardrail as Jay goes out after him. Dusty goes for the Rope Burn I on Ki, but Ki shifts onto Dusty's back and brings him down into the Dragon Ki Clutch. Eddie tries to get back in the ring, but Ki kicks backwards and sends him back to the floor. Dusty eventually taps out.)
Winners: Low Ki and the Killer Kanines
David: The team of Low Ki and the Killer Kanines proves victorious, though I think Low Ki would have rather gotten the fall over Eddie.
Dick: You win any way you can. He had Dusty dead to rights, and would have been a fool to let go.
(The EDJ still wants at the Kanines and Ki, but officials come out and hold them back.)
David: And the war is on for this Saturday. We'll see you live on FSN for Punked Out!
