Anubis b. Joey Sprinklers

("Neocon" opening.)

David: We are coming off of MECCA's biggest card ever, the MECCA Challenge II, where we not only saw new tag champs crowned, but a new MECCA Champion as well! But now we're here in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and this is Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli!

Dick: That's right, Eddie Crowe beat Kevin Stone at the MECCA Challenge, and the Pyro Twins finally unseated the UK Wrecking Crew, and we'll hear from the EDJ right here tonight!

David: Speaking of the EDJ, Jay Crowe will be in action, and we've been told that his opponent is someone making their return to MECCA, but we don't know who it is.

Dick: Plus a Four Corners Match featuring competitors in the ladies' division!

("Sweet Dreams" hits and Dreamo makes his way to the ring, along with Medea Knight.)

David: We're kicking things off with one half of the CDT, and that's Dreamo, along with Medea Knight.

Dick: They kind of started something with the Killer Kanines on the pre-show Saturday, and it's continuing right here tonight.

("Kobrakai" hits and Anubis makes his way to the ring.)

David: The big man Anubis is a tall order to defeat, as it was he who scored the winning fall in that Triangle Match on Saturday.

Dick: The Wild Wolf is not here tonight, but Anubis can definitely manage by himself.

(FINISH: Dreamo goes for the Dream Sequence, but Anubis manages to get up and nail him with spinebuster. He goes up for the Sphinx Splash, but Dreamo moves out of the way. As Anubis gets to his feet, Dreamo dozes off. Medea gets on the apron and sets off the alarm clock, and Anubis rushes over to grab it. Medea doesn't want to let go, so Anubis yanks it away from her and accidentally hits Dreamo in the head with it. He goes down and the ref calls for the bell.)

Winner: Dreamo

David: The referee has disqualified Anubis for using that alarm clock!

Dick: He didn't use it, he was just getting it away from Knight! What is Hitchcock thinking with that call?

(Anubis protests to the ref, and then shoves him down. He hits Dreamo with the Ankh Smash. He lays into him, but Concession Boy runs down and takes it to Anubis. They brawl to the outside, where Dreamo soon joins him. As they're brawling to the back, the EDJ shove their way past them and make their way to the ring. Dusty grabs a mic as Eddie poses with the MECCA Championship.)

David: It was pandemonium out here, but the EDJ has arrived, and they've brought the gold with them!

Dusty: Minneapolis, Minnesota, the EDJ is in the house! And it's not only our house, we've redecorated a little bit! On Saturday, myself and Jay did what you fans have asked us to do and we took these belts from the UK Wrecking Crew and set them on fire in the process. And may they burn for all eternity!

Jay: Andy Nathans and Jack Fletcher, we tried for a year to get match with you, and last night we finally achieved our goal, and look what happened. We took what was most dear to you. We took your physical health, and we broke your spirits. So now the Pyro Twins are the new MECCA Tag Team Champions! But that's not even the biggest news, because speaking of beating the unbeatable...

Eddie: When I came into MECCA, people said I had all the potential in the world if I would just break out on my own. Well, they were wrong. I didn't realize that potential by breaking out on my own, I broke out with my brother and best friend right beside me! For months, people said that Kevin Stone couldn't be beaten. He put away everybody. But he couldn't put away me. I won't lie. I'm definitely busted up, but I'll be ready to go and defend this title soon. As of Saturday, the EDJ has come full circle in MECCA. We realized our destinies, and it lay in the same path. Now we hold the top spots in this company, and we have the power. And anybody who tries to stop us better get ready to be dealt a deathblow!

("Fire" hits and the EDJ pose with their titles.)

David: The EDJ just addressed the entire promotion, and they made their intentions clear. Stand in our way at your own risk. When we come back, we'll hear from the winner of the MECCA Challenge, Nykk!

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is with the Eccentrics.)

Bill: Huh, Cheesecake, you faced disappointment at the MECCA Challenge II when you lost to Fox and Cynric. So the obvious question is, what's next for the Eccentrics?

Huh: Huh?

Cheesecake: You know, Bill, it'th not nece'th'arily lo'th'ing if you are the one getting the last laugh. Th'ynric, Fox, you did beat us, and we don't have an excuse for that. What we can do is attempt to get the la'th't laugh as we always do. Th'o what we're proposing is a rematch right here tonight. And th'ince we can't th'eem to keep it in the ring, let'th make it Falls Count Anywhere!

Huh: Bill, it's not really losing if you get the last laugh...

Cheesecake: Huh, I just made that th'peech.

Huh: Oh. Well, I say it's time we got Fox and Cynric in one last match...

Cheesecake: I made the challenge too.

Huh: Oh... well... seen any good movies lately?

Bill: Hey, I think I see Nykk over there!

(Bill walks down the hall, where Nykk is standing in front of a drinking fountain.)

Bill: Nykk, at the MECCA Challenge you defeated Charlie Haas, and he's out of here now. I just asked the Eccentrics what's next for them, but what's next for the Alpha Wolf?

Nykk: Like I said last week, Bill, if Haas hadn't taken the time to come after me, he might have been going after titles and making something of himself. I think it's time I took my own advice on that matter. It's time I got back on the Contender Star, and started my journey for the MECCA Championship anew. So next week, right here on Go Time, I will be taking on the former MECCA Champion who will be returning to action, Kevin Stone. Stone, there will be no automatic rematch for you, because next week I'm taking your spot and it's going to be me who...

(Cynric walks up.)

Cynric: Perhaps you've forgotten, Nykk, but it was me who knocked you off the Contender Star to begin with, a couple of weeks ago on Rundown. Don't think that you're going to get back on it and challenge for the title before me. I've been screwed over too many times...

Nykk: You weren't screwed over, you're just a choke artist. Any booker in this country knows it's safe to put you in a title match, because it's always just another notch on the champion's belt, so to speak.

Cynric: Yeah, I'm a choke artist. I'll show you how it's done.

(Cynric kicks Nykk and slips behind him for a rear naked choke, but Nykk escapes and a fistfight erupts. Officials arrive after a few moments to break them up, and Nykk gets shunted off down the hallway.)

Cynric: I'm not finished with you!

Bill: Cynric, as long as you're here, what about the challenge the Eccentrics just made for a Falls Count Anywhere Match?

Cynric: Those goofs are still hanging off of us? I don't have any problems accepting a fight, but I don't speak for my brother. You'll get our answer later. And Nykk's going to get a beating later!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Burning Times" hits and Jay Crowe makes his way to the ring, showing off his belt.)

David: Jay Crowe is proud to be one half of the MECCA Tag Team Champions finally, but he's got singles action coming up right now.

Dick: We don't even know who his opponent is. We just know it's someone returning to MECCA.

("The Final Countdown" by Europe hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.)

David: It's the American Dragon Bryan Danielson! We haven't seen him in MECCA for over a year!

Dick: It was about a year ago that Bryan Danielson was involved in the Round Robin to crown the first MECCA Champion, and the current ROH and FIP Champion has made his return!

(Jared Schrunk starts to announce him.)

Jared: His opponent... from Aberdeen, Washington... weighing 190 lbs...

(Danielson whispers something in Schrunk's ear and tells him to say it.)

Jared: And the best wrestler to ever compete in the state of Minnesota... "American Dragon" Bryaaan Danielsoooon!

(Danielson takes the mic.)

Danielson: Man, it's good to be back! You know, around this time last year I decided to take some time off, do some soul searching... what I came to realize was that I am the best wrestler in the world and can win any championship I set my sights on. Now I've returned to MECCA and my intentions are simple. That's to add to my legacy with even more gold. That may be the MECCA Championship... the new Toughman Championship... or I may just find a partner and go after the Tag Team Championship. Because there's no Pyro Twin that's hotter than this Dragon's fire!

(FINISH: Jay whips Danielson into the corner and charges, but Danielson runs up the turnbuckles and backflips over Jay. He goes for a belly-to-belly, but Jay reverses into his own belly-to-belly suplex. He goes for the Overhaul, but Danielson slips out and applies Cattle Mutilation. Jay struggles and manages to get a foot on the ropes. Danielson breaks at four and tells the ref, "I have till FIVE!" The distraction allows Jay to throw Danielson over his shoulder and go for a triangle hold. However, Danielson slips out and stands up, applying the Crossface Chickenwing. He gets Jay down on the mat, and Jay taps out after a few moments.)

Winner: Bryan Danielson

David: How about that for making a statement? Bryan Danielson returns to MECCA and on his first night, takes Jay's spot on the Contender Star!

Dick: Danielson hasn't lost a step at all, and in fact may have gained three or four since we saw him last.

David: The sky's the limit for the American Dragon. When we come back, we'll see Four Corners action as it will be LuFisto vs. Kelly Schweickart vs. Heather Star vs. Misery!

(Backstage, David Caldwell is standing by with Lisa Letty.)

Caldwell: Lisa, at the MECCA Challenge II, your team did the unthinkable. You cheated to win your elimination match with the Dangerous Liaison, causing them to disband. Daizee Haze, who wasn't even scheduled to be in the match, showed up to even the odds fresh as... well, a daisy!

Lisa: First of all, Caldwell, you conveniently forget that Daizee was originally supposed to be in the match, but was sidelined after being attacked by the Dangerous Liaison. As far as I'm concerned, all that bad karma came back to bite them in the ass, and we don't have to deal with them around here anymore. My team came through in a major way, and I want to thank Zoe, Kelly, Daizee and Heather for being the best partners I could ask for. Now that the Dangerous Liaison is squashed once and for all, Sensation of Submission, let's see how long you can keep hold of that Ladies' Title. I know that Daizee was granted a title match next week, and you can bet that I'll be right around the corner waiting.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "My Friend of Misery" hits and Misery makes her way to the ring.)

David: It's Four Corners time, as the events of this past Saturday leave title contention wide open in the ladies' division. We know that Daizee Haze will receive a title shot next week, but after that who knows who will get a title match. It could even be a former stablemate of Gail Kim's, such as Misery here.

Dick: All bets are definitely off now, and it's up to the best woman in the company to step up and see if she has what it takes.

("Dance Commander" hits and Heather Star makes her way to the ring.)

David: "Heavenly" Heather Star is a promising competitor, though she doesn't have as much experience. This is a good an opportunity as any to see if she can reach for the brass ring.

Dick: Star's been out with an injury for a while, though, and was the first person eliminated from her team on Saturday. We'll see if that factors in at all.

("Sold Me" hits and LuFisto makes her way to the ring.)

David: LuFisto is known as the First Lady of Hardcore, and she was definitely phenomenal in the match on Saturday, eliminating two competitors and it took the combined efforts of everyone remaining on Lisa's team to put her away finally.

Dick: One reason Kim wanted to keep the Dangerous Liaison together was so that some potential threats were neutralized. LuFisto is a definite threat.

("Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart makes her way to the ring.)

David: Kelly Schweickart has come close several times, but has never quite been able to garner a title reign.

Dick: She's learned a lot since she first came to MECCA, and I'm sure she'll have more than enough gold to call her own when it's all said and done.

(FINISH: Star goes for the Falling Star Press on Misery, but she moves. Kelly takes the opportunity to hit Heather with a hardway suplex. She goes to the top rope, but LuFisto pushes her off to the floor. LuFisto gets in the ring and Misery extends her hand and points to Heather. LuFisto shakes her hand and then boots Heather through the ropes. She hits Misery with several rapid forearms and whips her into the ropes. She hits a flapjack, and then gives her a Michinoku Driver, followed by LuFisto's Law. Misery tries to reach the ropes, but ends up tapping out.)

Winner: LuFisto

David: LuFisto gets the win and shows that there is no alliance left with the former Dangerous Liaison as far as she's concerned.

Dick: LuFisto took out her former partner with a vengeance, and I think it's safe to say that she could be coming after the Ladies' Title, whether Gail or Daizee holds it after next week.

David: Fans, we've received word that the Eccentrics' challenge to Fox and Cynric for a tag team Falls Count Anywhere Match has been accepted, and will be in our main event tonight. I can't wait for this rematch.

(Backstage, Low Ki is walking down the hallway when he runs into Trent Acid, who's holding an icepack to the back of his head.)

Low Ki: Trent Acid, just the man I was looking for.

Acid: What do you want, Ki?

Low Ki: I know you're hurting after losing that Ladder Match to Alan Mayse on Saturday, but I also know that you're going to want a rematch for the Toughman Title. Well, word is that Alan Mayse is now fancying himself as number one contender to the MECCA Championship also. I won that four-way, I beat Sprinkles. I'm the number one contender, not him. And if he's going after that title, it's going to make your hunt for the Toughman Title even harder. So the way I see it, we both have something to gain by not letting Mayse get any farther. What do you say we have a little talk?

Acid: Whatever, man. I can't wrestle tonight anyway.

(They walk away together.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring, holding the Toughman Title.)

David: Alan Mayse, the first Toughman Champion, has entered the arena, and you can tell that he's proud to be the winner of the Toughman Tournament.

Dick: Alan garnered his first title reign in MECCA this past Saturday, and you can hardly ask for a better person to establish a title.

(Alan gets a mic.)

Alan: In case you haven't noticed yet, I seem to be a bit heavier these days. No, I haven't gained any weight, aside from ten pounds of gold! I just want to tell all my fans thank you for standing by me. I've been trying to win titles for over a year now in MECCA, and at the MECCA Challenge II, my dream came true, as I now go down in history as the first ever MECCA Toughman Champion! And believe me, I plan to...

("My 7th Rib" hits and Matt Sydal makes his way to the ring.)

David: What's Matt Sydal doing out here? We're not scheduled to have a match right now. This is Alan's time to talk.

Dick: Sydal's always ready to go, but I don't know what he's doing right now. Maybe he's congratulating his friend Alan.

(Sydal asks for the mic and Alan gives it to him.)

Sydal: Sorry to interrupt you, Alan... but as you well know, I was left off of the MECCA Challenge card on Saturday, and that doesn't sit well with me. It tells me that I haven't made the impact I'm capable of, and I haven't gotten the attention of MECCA management. Well, I plan to change that tonight. You see, there is no hierarchy of challengers for the Toughman Title, which means that anyone can make a challenge for the title at anytime. And I figure the best way to get management's attention is to win gold, so what do you say, Alan? Me and you for the Toughman Title, and I say we do this right now!

Alan: You're on, pal.

David: How about this, Alan's first Toughman Title defense right here tonight!

Dick: Sydal actually made it all the way to the semi-finals of the Toughman Tournament, but the thing about the division is qualifications don't matter. You can be the opening act or the MECCA Champion and challenge for the belt.

David: We have to state that Toughman rules are slightly different from a regular match. There are no rope breaks, chokes are legal, and there is no count-outs or disqualifications for anything save use of a foreign object or outside interference.

(FINISH: Alan goes for a double axehandle from the second rope, but Sydal hits him with a spinning heel kick. He hits a standing moonsault for a two count. Alan rolls out of the ring, but gets hit with a twisting moonsault. Sydal throws him back in and goes for a cannonball legdrop, but Alan moves. He gives Sydal an exploder suplex and then goes for a springboard dropkick. Sydal catches his feet and applies a Boston Crab. Alan makes it to the ropes, but the ref reminds him that there are no rope breaks. Alan manages to crawl under the ropes to break the hold, and when Sydal moves in he gets kicked in the midsection. Alan hits the springboard dropkick, followed by the Tiger Bomb, and gets the pin.)

Winner: Alan Mayse

David: Alan Mayse retains on his first defense, and I'm sure he plans on retaining many more times in the months to come. We go now to David Caldwell, who says he has a big announcement.

(Backstage, David Caldwell has a mic and is smiling stupidly.)

Caldwell: Ladies and gentlemen, you are about to bear witness to a landmark moment in sports entertainment. This announcement will shake the very foundation of MECCA, and will help me rise to the top of this promotion. And it starts next week right in the middle of that ring. Because next week on Go Time, my very own talk segment, the David Caldwell Project, will make its debut. And let me tell you, I have some guests lined up that you won't believe. Wrestling fans, get ready for the David Caldwell Project, because we will be changing the face of MECCA and making it an organization to be proud of.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Pajamarama" hits and the Eccentrics make their way to the ring.)

David: It's time for our main event here on Go Time, a tag team Falls Count Anywhere Match. Both David Bowers and Keith Young will be assigned to this contest just in case the action pairs off on different sides of the arena.

Dick: The Eccentrics are ticked off that they lost to Fox and Cynric at the MECCA Challenge II, and they're ready to even the score.

David: No dancing or goofing around tonight. The Eccentrics are all business in this dangerous match.

("Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox and Cynric make their way to the ring.)

David: The brothers Fox and Cynric have been on a tear since their attitude change, and their goal at the moment seems to be the tag team division, though Cynric was making hints about going after the MECCA Championship soon.

Dick: Both of these men are worthy challengers at any time for the belt, but it looks like Cynric may have to go through Nykk first if he wants a shot at the title.

(FINISH: The action spills all over the arena, and eventually out into the parking lot. Cynric whips Huh into a car, and Fox tries to do the same, but Cheesecake leaps onto the hood. Fox gives him a low blow and then jumps up with him and gives him a Tail End into the windshield, nearly caving it in. Cheesecake rolls off the car, busted open, as Fox writhes in pain on the hood. Cynric goes to check on his brother, but Huh rams his head into the hood of the car. Huh drags Cynric back into the arena, over at the concession table, causing Concession Boy to scramble out of the way with as much merchandise as he can salvage. They trade rights, and Huh gets the better of Cynric, putting him on the table. He climbs onto some conveniently placed production crates, but Cynric gets off the table and hits him in the midsection. He gets up with him and lifts Huh for the Shock Cannon, putting him right through the concession table. Cynric rolls on top of Huh and gets the three count.)

Winners: Ronin Fox and Cynric

David: What a brutal and bloody contest, but once again Fox and Cynric have bested the former MECCA Tag Team Champions.

Dick: What a win for Fox and Cynric, and I'm sure they'll be going after the tag titles as soon as they're able.

(Fox limps over to Cynric, clutching his arm, which is bleeding from going through the windshield. He gets Cynric up and they make their way back into the arena, posing for the fans before flipping them off.)

David: Fox and Cynric pick up a big victory, and we may need medical attention for all four of these men, especially Cheesecake, who was lacerated by going through that windshield. We'll see you again next week, fans. Good night!
