LuFisto and Shadow b. Zoe Alexander and Heather Star
Concession Dream Team/Delirious b. Stone/UK Wrecking Crew
Eccentrics b. Ballard Brothers
("Neocon" opening.)
David: Fans, we are just three days away from the MECCA Challenge II, which will come at you live on pay-per-view! But before we conclude our tour of Ohio in Dayton, thank you for joining us here in Columbus, Ohio, for Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight we have a special tag team match as Nykk teams with Eddie Crowe to take on Charlie Haas and the MECCA Champion Kevin Stone in the main event!
Dick: And due to what happened in the back last week, Matt Sydal will take on Low Ki right here tonight.
David: Plus Ronin Fox and Cynric will take on Delirious and either Huh or Cheesecake later on.
("Ironman" hits and the UK Wrecking Crew make their way to the ring.)
David: The UK Wrecking Crew were a part of a heinous attack on the Pyro Twins and Eddie Crowe last week where they tried to set them on fire.
Dick: Turn about's fair play for the Pyro Twins. They've been setting people on fire for years. It was only a matter of time until people started trying to do it to them.
(Nathans gets a mic.)
Nathans: I know you people are surprised that we came out here without our Grenadiers, but the truth is, we just don't need them right now. Pyro Twins, if it wasn't for the MECCA officials, we would have set you aflame last week, and this time we would have made sure that you burned to ashes! But we didn't, and you will challenge us for the tag titles at the MECCA Challenge II, and that's fine. But if you know what's good for you, you'll lay off us tonight.
Fletcher: That's right, because this past week on Rundown, you see, we were on the losing end of a six-man tag. That pillock Concession Boy actually scored the pinfall victory over my partner, Andy Nathans. Sorry, bloke, but he did. And so, that means tonight we've decided to give those CDT chaps a shot at our tag titles.
David: What!? Three days before the MECCA Challenge!?
Fletcher: So, Jay Crowe and Dusty Schneble, if you truly want these tag titles, I'd suggest that you personally make sure we do not lose them tonight.
Nathans: Plain and simple, the Concession Dream Team are one of our toughest challenges to date, and I have been feeling a little woozy since that loss. So, Pyro Twins, tonight we don't need any protection... because you're going to do it for us.
(The UKWC smirks at the camera as "Ironman" plays.)
David: The MECCA Tag Team Champions are playing mind games with the Pyro Twins, and they're not even at the MECCA Challenge II yet.
Dick: They want to get inside the Pyro Twins' heads any way they can. Last week, they tried to light them on fire again, and this week it's this.
David: We have to take a quick commercial break, but we'll be back with our opening contest as Daizee Haze takes on Nora Greenwald!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Want You Bad" hits and Nora Greenwald makes her way to the ring.)
David: Here comes the most recent acquisition for the Dangerous Liaison, former WWE Women's Champion and mentor of our current MECCA Ladies' Champion, Nora Greenwald.
Dick: And Gail Kim couldn't have picked a better partner for the ten-woman tag at the MECCA Challenge II.
("Sensi" hits and Daizee Haze makes her way to the ring.)
David: Daizee Haze is one of the hottest up-and-comers on the women's wrestling scene, and she's found a new home right here in MECCA.
Dick: They say dynamite comes in small packages, and Daizee is no exception. We'll see if she can upset the veteran.
(FINISH: Daizee goes for a Yakuza Kick, but Nora catches her foot and hits a northern lights suplex, bridging for a two count. She goes to the top turnbuckle and goes for the Nora-Go-Round, but Daizee moves. Daizee tries the Mind Trip, but Nora shoves her into the ropes. She puts her head down, and Daizee executes a sunset flip, bridging over to get the three count.)
Winner: Daizee Haze
David: We have an upset as Daizee Haze just beat the much more experienced Nora Greenwald!
Dick: This has to give her team confidence going into the MECCA Challenge this Saturday.
(As Daizee poses, Shadow, LuFisto and Misery suddenly swarm the ring and attack her. They beat her down, and Gail Kim comes out with a hammer. As LuFisto and Shadow hold Daizee by the arms, Kim slaps Daizee in the face and then takes the hammer to her knee. Daizee screams in pain, and Lisa Letty, Zoe Alexander, Kelly Schweickart and Heather Star rush the ring. The Dangerous Liaison bails out of the ring and regroups in the aisle as Lisa and the rest tend to Daizee.)
David: She may have shattered Daizee's kneecap with that hammer! We need some help out here! What a dastardly attack by the Dangerous Liaison! They must be getting desperate to do this so close to April 29.
Dick: If this was their plan, it worked like a charm. Daizee may not just be through in MECCA, she may be through in wrestling period!
David: Let's go to Bill Bicknell while we're getting Daizee some help. I can't believe that!
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Nykk.)
Bill: Nykk, you are just three days away from the MECCA Challenge match against Charlie Haas. After his return to Raw a week ago, we now know that this will definitely be Haas's last night in MECCA. How important is it to gain a victory in this match over a WWE Superstar?
Nykk: It's very important, Bill, because it has been the goal of promotions like MECCA and RCW and ROH to get away from everything that the WWE stands for. We are not "entertainment" with wrestling, Bill, we are wrestling that's entertaining. And Haas chose to go play in Cartoonland, and that's his prerogative. But this Saturday, Haas, one last time, you are a wrestler in MECCA. And when you step into my ring, I will show you why it's my ring, both literally and figuratively. But you know, Haas, looking back on our feud, I can truly see how dumb you are. You had to have known your time in MECCA would be short, so instead of coming after me, you could have been going after titles and trying to make yourself more lucrative to WWE, but instead you've been attacking me from behind... you've been attacking my girl... you've been attacking my friend, Lisa Letty... you wasted a whole pay-per-view teaming with your rat wife against myself and Lisa, as a matter of fact. Granted, I could be doing better things with my time as well, but I have all the time in the world. You have three days, Haas. Three days to prove what you originally said, and show me what toughness really is. Bring it to Dayton. I'll be waiting... not in the back, or in the crowd... I'll be waiting in the ring to say farewell the only way that matters in this business.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)
David: It's time for a match set up last week as Low Ki will take on the partner of the man he'll be facing at the MECCA Challenge II.
Dick: This started last week when Low Ki attacked Joey Sprinklers in the catering area, but Matt Sydal was able to put a stop to it but got involved in this match.
("My 7th Rib" hits and Matt Sydal makes his way to the ring.)
David: If Matt Sydal beats Low Ki here, that means that he's on the Contender Star, and with a match with Joey this Saturday, this is a huge risk for Low Ki to take.
Dick: You can't underestimate Matt Sydal. He made it far in the Toughman Tournament despite not being what you would think of when you think of a tough competitor. This kid's got a lot of heart.
(FINISH: Sydal misses a shooting star press, and gets sent down with a rolling koppo kick. Ki goes for the Ki Krusher, but Sydal knees him in the face and drops behind him. He hits the Here It Is Driver and covers, but Low Ki gets a foot on the bottom rope. He whips Ki into the corner, but it gets reversed. Ki goes for the Tidal Crush, but Sydal moves, and Ki gets hung up on the top rope. Sydal goes up for the Cyclorama, but Ki shoves him down into the tree of woe and gives him a Ghetto Stomp. He gives Sydal the Ki Krusher and covers for the three count.)
Winner: Low Ki
David: The Ki Krusher puts them all down, and Matt Sydal is no exception. He'll have to try another day against the dangerous Low Ki.
Dick: Now it's on to the MECCA Challenge, where he looks to finally get rid of that thorn in his side.
(Ki refuses to have his hand raised, and he starts stomping on Sydal. He throws the ref to the side and applies the Dragon Clutch. Sydal taps out, but Low Ki won't let go of the hold. Finally, Joey Sprinklers runs down and attacks Low Ki, beating on him with forearms. Low Ki tries a roundhouse kick, but Joey counters with a dragonscrew legwhip. Ki rolls out of the ring, clutching his knee and staring back at Joey.)
David: Joey Sprinklers just showed Low Ki that he's going to bring the fight this Saturday!
Dick: Low Ki thought better of attacking Joey after he hit that dragonscrew. He doesn't want to chance getting hurt before their match.
David: When we come back, the tag titles will be on the line as the UK Wrecking Crew take on the CDT!
(Backstage, Lisa Letty, Kelly Schweickart, Zoe Alexander and Heather Star are outside the ladies' locker room. Lisa knocks on the door and a EMT comes out.)
Lisa: How's Daizee doing? Is she all right?
EMT: It's too soon to tell. We're going to have to take her to the hospital and do some X-rays on her knee.
Zoe: But will she be all right to wrestle with us on Saturday?
EMT: Like I said, it's too soon to tell, but it's not looking good. I wouldn't count on her being ready anytime soon.
(The EMT goes back into the locker room, and the Dangerous Liaison walks up to Lisa.)
Gail: So, it seems as if all your hopes and dreams end here, Little Lisa. Because I'm still the Ladies' Champion, and now you're missing a partner for the elimination tag on Saturday, which means that the Dangerous Liaison win, and we get to control the ladies' division.
Lisa: I wouldn't gloat just yet, Gail. It may be a nine-woman elimination tag right now, but I've got three of the best partners I could ask for. We're going to overcome anything you throw at us, and when it's all said and done, your group will be no more, and things will be back to the way they should be.
Gail: Is that a fact? Come on, ladies.
(They shove their way through Lisa's group and leave.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Sweet Dreams" hits and the CDT make their way to the ring.)
David: The CDT have a golden opportunity here as they're set for a tag title shot surprisingly.
Dick: Why surprisingly? The UK Wrecking Crew are fighting champions.
David: The UK Wrecking Crew only gave out this shot as part of playing some final mind games against the Pyro Twins before the MECCA Challenge. They want to enrage them to the point where they make a mistake.
("Ironman" hits and the UK Wrecking Crew make their way to the ring.)
David: We'll finally see the UK Wrecking Crew vs. The Pyro Twins this Saturday, but Nathans and Fletcher better not be taking Dreamo and Concession Boy lightly. They are a well oiled team.
Dick: They're certainly a team to be reckoned with, but the UK Wrecking Crew have made those belts prestigious. Can you imagine the titles being defended on the pre-show instead of at the MECCA Challenge?
(FINISH: Nathans and Fletcher fake throwing the match several times, prompting the Pyro Twins to come out. As they jaw with the UKWC, CB and Dreamo manage to hit the Nocturnal Emission on Nathans. As referee David Bowers gets CB out of the ring, the Pyro Twins enter and hit Final Darkness on Dreamo. They roll Nathans on top, and Bowers makes the three count.)
Winners: The UK Wrecking Crew
David: The CDT looked like they had it won, but the Pyro Twins ensured that the UK Wrecking Crew walked away with the belt, just like they knew they would.
(Fletcher quickly pulls Nathans out of the ring as the Pyro Twins charge in. They retreat up the aisle as CB asks the Pyro Twins what their problem is. They respond with a doubl knee to the gut, followed by Final Darkness. Dusty throws CB out of the ring as Jay gets a mic.)
Dick: The Pyro Twins are in a foul mood, which means the UK Wrecking Crew's plan worked. I can only imagine what Jay's about to say to them.
(Jay starts to speak, but has to stop himself because he's so mad. After a couple more attempts to get something out, Dusty takes the mic.)
Dusty: You... will... burn!
(The Pyro Twins stare a hole through the UK Wrecking Crew, who look a little concerned.)
David: Simply put by Dusty Schneble, it appears that the Pyro Twins do have a plan going into the MECCA Challenge II!
(Backstage, David Caldwell is standing by with Ronin Fox and Cynric.)
Caldwell: Fox, Cynric, at the MECCA Challenge II you'll settle things with a team I personally despise, the Eccentrics, but up next one of them will team with Delirious to take you two on. What's your thought process taking a match this close to April 29?
Fox: You saw what just happened along with everyone, Caldwell. The CDT beaten to a pulp by the Pyro Twins. They won't be getting up again tonight after taking Final Darkness. And you know... somehow I just doubt that Huh or Cheesecake is making it to the building tonight. Not after we followed them here and slashed their tires back at the gas station. Hope you got the insurance, guys.
Cynric: The fact is, our match with Delirious is now a handicap match and we're going to take this opportunity to show the nation what we're going to do this Saturday to the Eccentrics. This fight has gone on long enough, and if you don't give it up after we've beaten you, then we'll definitely end it one way or the other. See you in the ring, Delirious.
(They leave.)
Caldwell: The brothers Fox and Cynric are ready for their opponents, and I have to respect that. On a more positive note, I'll be right here next week on Go Time with an announcement that will rock the foundation of MECCA. Just you wait. You won't want to miss what I have to say next week!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Hybrid Stigmata" is playing and Delirious is in the ring.)
David: It's time for what's now a handicap match, as we found out before the break that Huh and Cheesecake are not going to arrive at the building, thanks to Ronin Fox and Cynric.
Dick: Get ready for a massacre, David. These Eccentrics have lived long enough anyway.
("Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox and Cynric make their way to the ring.)
David: This war with the Eccentrics will culminate this Saturday, when those four will meet in the middle of the ring, and this just has to be something to get into the minds of Huh and Cheesecake.
Dick: It takes a lot of searching to even find their puny minds. This might just be to ensure that they don't get hurt before their big match at the MECCA Challenge.
(FINISH: Cynric lifts Delirious for the Dead End as Fox goes to the top rope, but Delirious escapes and dropkicks Cynric from behind. Cynric goes into the corner, accidentally crotching Fox. Delirious gives Cynric the Chemical Imbalance #2 and covers, but Fox manages to roll off with a legdrop to break up the pin. Cynric rolls to the apron as Fox picks up Delirious and sends him shoulder first into the ring post. Cynric comes off the apron with a modified Lift Off as Delirious hangs there, and Delirious backs up right into Fox, who plants him with a German, holds on, and then gives him a piledriver. He covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: Ronin Fox and Cynric
David: Fox and Cynric pick up the victory, but Delirious gave them a scare at the end there.
Dick: Fox and Cynric avoided embarrassment and made good on what they said they were going to do. Now they just have to get through the Eccentrics in three days.
(Cynric tells Fox to go up, and Fox ascends the turnbuckles as Cynric puts Delirious on his shoulders. Fox gives him the Dead End. They then pick Delirious up by his arms and legs and heave him through the ropes and into the guardrail.)
David: Okay, that's enough. We know he almost beat both of you, but that's no reason to try and end the man's career.
(Fox grabs a camera and puts it in front of his face.)
Fox: Huh, Cheesecake, you two are dead! Look at that guy! Dead! You're not walking away from our match this Saturday!
Dick: Fox and Cynric are bent on attrition, and I can't wait to see it happen this Saturday.
(Backstage, Alan Mayse is waiting outside the bathroom door. After he takes a look at his watch, the door finally opens and Trent Acid comes out. The two stare at each other.)
Acid: Don't worry. I'll wash my hands sometime before I beat your ass on Saturday.
Alan: I'm not worried. You see, Acid, it's appropriate that you just came from the bathroom, because a toilet is a perfect analogy for your career. That floater that you surely left in there represents you. I represent that flush handle that will rid the world of your odor once and for all. And those unwashed hands represent the stain you'll have left on this industry. I've worked too hard to let you just climb up a ladder and take what I've earned. At the MECCA Challenge II, I'm walking away with the Toughman Title.
Acid: If you want to pull out some ludicrous analogy, that's fine with me, because it doesn't change the facts of life. One of those facts is that I can beat you, and I will this Saturday. You're too soft for that title, Alan. And after the MECCA Challenge II, everyone will know it, because I will be wearing gold around my waist, and you'll just be a mere failure in your latest attempt at glory.
Alan: We'll just have to wait and see, won't we?
(They continue to stare each other down.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone and Charlie Haas make their way to the ring.)
David: It's our main event, and our last match before the MECCA Challenge II on Saturday. Kevin Stone has one last chance to score a victory over Eddie Crowe before they meet for the MECCA Championship.
Dick: As it stands now, Stone has never beaten Eddie, and it has to be demoralizing for him going into the MECCA Challenge.
("Destroy" hits and Nykk and Eddie Crowe make their way to the ring.)
David: Nykk and Haas have another chance to get at each other before they meet in the MECCA Challenge as well. But for Nykk, this isn't just about his grudge with Haas anymore, as Haas is back on WWE Television. It's about defending the honor of his own promotion and showing that we're on the same level as guys like Haas.
Dick: We'll see Charlie Haas one last time in MECCA this Saturday, and then he'll have fulfilled his contract. He's looking to go out on top by beating one of MECCA's owners.
(FINISH: Haas goes for the Haastruction on Eddie, but Eddie escapes and hits a German with a bridge. Stone makes the save, and Nykk comes in and attacks him. Stone hits him with a forearm, and Nykk doesn't go down. He tells Stone to hit him again, and Stone goes for a big boot instead. Nykk ducks and Stone nails Haas. Nykk sends Stone down with a running leg lariat, and Eddie gives Haas the Gutwrench Driver. He covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: Nykk and Eddie Crowe
David: Nykk and Eddie Crowe pick up the victory after some miscommunication, and Stone still hasn't beaten Eddie.
Dick: This gives Eddie a great psychological advantage going into the match this Saturday.
(As Nykk and Eddie are celebrating, Haas forearms Nykk from behind, sending him to the outside. Haas goes out after him, and they brawl up the aisle. Eddie turns around, but Stone is there with the MECCA title belt and he nails Eddie in the head with it. Eddie goes down, and Stone stands over him, saying that he's never going to get a hold of the title.)
David: The MECCA Champion has just laid out Eddie Crowe with the belt. He's out!
Dick: Since he couldn't pick up the win, Stone made sure he had the last laugh before they meet. That's going to give Eddie something to chew on over the next three days, if he's not already chewing on his own teeth.
("At the End of the Rainbow" plays and Kevin poses with the belt.)
David: We're out of time, but you'll be able to see the biggest show in MECCA history by tuning into the MECCA Challenge II this Saturday! We'll see you on pay-per-view!
