Go Time: 4/19/06

Cincinnati, OH

Quick Rundown Results: Killer Kanines b. Concession Boy and Delirious
Shadow and LuFisto b. Zoe Alexander and Kelly Schweickart
UK Wrecking Crew b. Joey Sprinklers and Matt Sydal
Cynric b. Nykk

("Neocon" opening.)

David: Welcome to MECCA Go Time, ladies and gentlemen, right here from the home state in Cincinnati, Ohio! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight we will see a big six-man tag main event, as the EDJ will face off against Ronin Fox, Cynric and Trent Acid!

Dick: That's right, the hottest three man group in wrestling today teams once again, but we've also got a huge Four Corner Chaos Match that will take place between Nykk, Charlie Haas, Alan Mayse and Low Ki, which will have major ramifications on the title picture after the MECCA Challenge.

David: We'll also see the in-ring debut of Nora Greenwald of the Dangerous Liaison, and much more.

("Kobrakai" hits and the Killer Kanines make their way to the ring.)

David: Anubis and the Wild Wolf were having a tremendous streak of victories until a few weeks ago on this program.

(They show footage of S-Squared's win over the Killer Kanines.)

Dick: That loss took them right out of the title picture they worked so hard to get into, but now they have a chance for revenge.

("Hit That" hits and S-Squared make their way to the ring.)

David: Joey Sprinklers and Matt Sydal got a tag title match coming off that victory which they were unsuccessful at, but you know both these teams would love to challenge either the Pyro Twins or the UK Wrecking Crew after the MECCA Challenge II.

Dick: That's assuming any of those four men survive the MECCA Challenge II.

(FINISH: Joey and Sydal go for There It Goes on the Wild Wolf, but Anubis takes Joey out with the Ankh Smash. He gives Sydal a spinebuster as the Wild Wolf goes to the top rope. They try a rocket launcher, but Sydal moves out of the way. Joey dropkicks Anubis through the ropes, and Sydal takes him out with a twisting moonsault to the outside. Joey goes for Da Sprinklanator on Wolf, but he escapes and spins Joey around, knocking him out with the Twig Snap. He quickly applies the Kanine Kruncher, and Joey is barely conscious enough to tap out.)

Winners: The Killer Kanines

David: Big victory for the Killer Kanines, as they work their way back into the title picture.

Dick: They were definitely on tonight, and Joey Sprinklers and Matt Sydal are back to the drawing board.

David: We've got ladies' action coming up next as Daizee Haze takes on Misery, so don't go away.

(Backstage, Lisa Letty is pacing back and forth by the back door. The door opens, and Nykk comes in, carrying his bags. He sees Lisa and gives her a hug.)

Lisa: Hey, I missed you last week.

Nykk: Yeah, I was still feeling a little woozy thanks to Haas, and I wanted to be sure I was one hundred percent going into the MECCA Challenge.

Lisa: Are you all right now?

Nykk: Yes, I'm all right, but you remember two weeks ago when Haas dropped me on my head? He's going to be in much worse condition when I get through with him on April 29. As a matter of fact, he might not even make it past the Four Corner Chaos match tonight if I have anything to say about it.

Lisa: Well, don't overextend yourself. I'd hate to see you get seriously hurt because your anger gets the best of you.

Nykk: Aw, thanks. You're so good to me Lisa, I think I'll treat you to dinner.

Lisa: But we don't have any time. The show's already started.

Nykk: Well, by dinner I mean catering. And by treat, I mean chasing Huh away so that we can eat as much as we want.

(Lisa laughs.)

Lisa: Sounds like a date to me.

(She walks away, and Nykk gives her a weird look.)

Nykk: Yeah right, a date.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "My Friend of Misery" hits and Misery makes her way to the ring.)

David: We're back on Go Time, and the most miserable competitor in MECCA is on her way to the ring.

Dick: Maybe the reason she's so miserable is that wins are few and far between, even though she's a member of the Dangerous Liaison.

("Sensi" hits and Daizee Haze makes her way to the ring, carrying her stuffed flower.)

David: Talk about polar opposites, the vibrant and enthusiastic Daizee Haze is set for action here in Cincinnati.

Dick: Watch out for that flower. I hear she loads it with hardened lead.

(FINISH: Shadow comes down to the ring to observe Daizee as she makes a comeback against Misery. She gives her the Daizee Cutter and then goes for a Yakuza Kick, but Misery avoids it and plants Haze with a belly-to-belly suplex. She goes to the outside and hits Miserable Times, getting a close two count. She whips her into the ropes, but Daizee reverses and kicks Misery. She bounces off the ropes for another kick, but Shadow grabs her foot. Daizee turns around and pulls Shadow onto the apron. Misery charges in, but Daizee moves just as Shadow spins and hits an Interceptor on Misery. Misery staggers as Daizee dropkicks Shadow. She goes over and hits the Mind Trip, covering for the three count.)

Winner: Daizee Haze

David: Daizee Haze shows everyone that her place on Lisa Letty's team is well earned, but Misery almost had her for a moment there.

Dick: The Dangerous Liaison definitely didn't win this battle.

(Daizee takes her flower and leaves. Misery gets to her feet and shoves Shadow. The two ladies start arguing.)

David: Whoa, what's going on here? Misery seems incensed that Shadow just cost her the match.

Dick: Of course, that was the best she had been doing in months, and Shadow had to get involved.

David: They better be on the same page for the MECCA Challenge II, because if they lose, their group splits up.

(Backstage, Nykk and Lisa Letty are trying to get to the food in the catering area, but Huh is guarding it and growling like a pit bull whenever they come near.)

Nykk: Come on now, even you can't eat all of this!

Huh: Refrigeration preserves for later consumption!

Lisa: I told you. This is hopeless.

(Joey Sprinklers walks up.)

Joey: Nykk, let me handle this goombah.

(He holds up a cupcake.)

Joey: You want it?

Huh: Yeah.

Joey: You want the yum-yum? Go get it!

(Joey throws the cupcake down the hall, and Huh bolts after it.)

Nykk: No, Joey! You know he's going to eat that right off the floor and I can't chance him getting sick for the MECCA Challenge! Huh, don't... aw! That wasn't even part of the cupcake, that was just mud off of someone's shoe!

(Nykk and Lisa go chasing after Huh as Joey looks on. Suddenly, Low Ki attacks Joey from behind with a lariat. Joey goes down, and Low Ki kicks him directly in the face as he leans up.)

Low Ki: Looks like I finally caught up with you, Sprinkles. You're not making it to Dayton. I could have had an important match, but no! You had to incur my wrath one more time! I'm going to hurt you even if it means missing the MECCA Challenge... I can make more money working Japan anyway!

(Low Ki gets on the catering table and hits a double stomp onto Joey.)

Low Ki: You just got two put through you!

(Matt Sydal suddenly enters and charges Low Ki. He throws him away from Joey, and hits him with several right hands before slamming him face first onto the catering table.)

Sydal: You want to attack my friend from behind? He'll see you at the MECCA Challenge II. But if you want to beat on someone so bad, I'm free next week. Try me, Low Ki!

Low Ki: If you think you're making a name for yourself, I strongly urge you to turn around and try with someone else.

(Sydal doesn't go anywhere.)

Low Ki: Fine then. Consider this your death warrant.

(He slaps Sydal across the face before walking away.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Liberi Fatali" hits and Charlie Haas makes his way to the ring, along with Jackie.)

David: It's time for Four Corner Chaos, and the rules are as follows: Tags are necessary, but only count if you are able to perform a double team move on your opponent within the referee's five count. The first fall wins it.

Dick: And the winner of this match will definitely be in the running to face the MECCA Champion after the MECCA Challenge II.

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)

David: Alan Mayse is actually coming off a non-title win over the MECCA Champion, although by disqualification. If he can win this match, he could prove that he's worthy of another title shot.

Dick: And if he wins the Ladder Match at the MECCA Challenge II, he'll also be the first Toughman Champion.

("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)

David: Low Ki has an issue to settle with Joey Sprinklers on April 29, but he just attacked Joey before the break in the back. Thank goodness Matt Sydal was able to stop it.

Dick: And it has been confirmed, Low Ki vs. Matt Sydal has been signed for next week here on Go Time.

("Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring, along with Lisa Letty.)

David: Nykk has an opportunity to get his hands on Haas before the MECCA Challenge right here tonight, but he has to keep his eye on the long term goal of becoming the first two-time MECCA Champion.

Dick: He likes to say that two is his lucky number, and this is actually the second Four Corner Chaos Match he's competed in. Let's see if his luck holds up.

(FINISH: Haas plants Low Ki with a powerslam and tags Nykk in. Nykk doesn't want to work together with Haas, but they whip Ki into the ropes anyway. Haas puts his head down, and Nykk gives him a German suplex. He turns around and ducks a spinning wheel kick from Low Ki. Haas actually catches Ki's foot and slams his knee into the mat. Nykk doesn't see it, and thinks that he's not legal. He goes to get out of the ring but the ref holds him back. Ki dropkicks Alan off the apron as Haas gets a chair. Alan tries to get in the ring, but the ref stops him. Haas uses the distraction to crack the chair across Nykk's back. Ki gives Nykk the Ki Krusher, and then moves to shake Haas's hand, only to give him a rolling koppo kick. Ki covers Nykk and gets the three count.)

Winner: Low Ki

David: Low Ki just won a match with three other members of the Contender Star, and he's certain to go after the MECCA Championship, as long as he can get past Joey Sprinklers.

Dick: That's like asking a gamer if he can get past Level 1 of Pac-Man. Low Ki's future is looking very bright at the moment.

David: When we come back, Nora Greenwald makes her in-ring debut when she takes on Zoe Alexander.

(Backstage in the ladies' locker room, Shadow and Misery are still arguing as Gail Kim and LuFisto get between them.)

Gail: That's enough! Pull it together, you two, it was just one match! In case you don't realize, we've got a ten-woman tag coming up, and if we're not on the same page, we will lose!

Misery: I was that close to getting a big victory, and our FORMER leader screws it up for me. When's it my turn, Gail?

Shadow: You wouldn't have lost if you'd just been a little less klutzy...

Gail: Okay, all right. You two shake hands right now. Come on.

(Shadow and Misery reluctantly shake hands.)

Gail: We can't beat ourselves before we even step into the ring. When we win, we'll finally get to book the ladies' division the way we want. And now that we have my mentor, Nora Greenwald, on our side, that power is ours for the taking.

Shadow: You know... she may be your mentor, but she did get released for a reason. It's been the four of us since the beginning, and she is not taking all the credit for our victory.

(Shadow storms out of the dressing room.)

(Meanwhile, in Katie Piehl's office, the Ballard Brothers, the Killer Kanines and Concession Boy are all arguing as Dreamo is asleep in a chair. Katie Piehl looks like her head is about to explode.)

Katie: So... what exactly can I do for you gentlemen again?

Shane: Ms. Piehl, my brother and I have been working hard all year, yet we don't have a match at the MECCA Challenge II. We just want a spot on the show.

Wolf: Whoa, whoa, hold on there. You may have been here longer, but look who has been the most dominant tag team to arrive in quite some time. If anyone deserves a spot in the MECCA Challenge II, it's us.

CB: Ms. Piehl, you like cotton candy, ja? If you put me and Dreamo in the MECCA Challenge II, I'll give you a lifetime 20% discount...

Katie: Everybody quiet! All right, now there are no spots left open on the MECCA Challenge Card, but... since you all have given your own... reasons... why you should be involved, how about this... on the pre-show I'm making a Triangle Tag Team Match pitting the Killer Kanines against the CDT against the Ballard Brothers. That's the best I can do. Better luck for next year.

(Katie leaves her office as the Killer Kanines stare a hole through Concession Boy.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Want You Bad" by the Offspring hits and Nora Greenwald makes her way to the ring.)

David: We're back with more ladies' action, and here comes the newest addition to the Dangerous Liaison, former WWE Women's Champion and the mentor of our current Ladies' Champion, Nora Greenwald.

Dick: She's already made her presence felt, but let's see if she can back up her actions in the ring.

("TKO" hits and Zoe Alexander makes her way to the ring.)

David: Zoe Alexander will be a part of Lisa Letty's team at the MECCA Challenge II because she's just as sick of the Dangerous Liaison as we all are.

Dick: It's a big risk, putting the group up against booking power in the ladies' division, but Zoe seems up for the task.

(FINISH: Zoe goes for the Zoetrope, but Greenwald nails her with some knees to the head. She escapes and whips Zoe into the corner, hitting a handspring backflip elbow. She goes up to the top rope, but Zoe catches her with a right hand. She goes up with her, but Nora fights back with headbutts and sends Zoe back to the mat. She hits the Nora-Go-Round and covers for the three count.)

Winner: Nora Greenwald

David: Nora Greenwald makes a successful debut, and you better believe if she connects with that Nora-Go-Round at the MECCA Challenge, it will lead to an elimination.

Dick: But the Dangerous Liaison doesn't seem to be on the same page right now. Nora's experience will only give them so much of an edge.

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Eddie Crowe.)

Bill: Eddie, in a week and three days you will take on the MECCA Champion Kevin Stone at the MECCA Challenge II in Dayton, Ohio. You've come a long way in the last year toward being one of the most beloved competitors in MECCA. Just how much has fan support played a role in your rise to the top?

Eddie: I'd say it's played a huge role, Bill. I can't thank my fans enough. Honestly, when I got into this business, due to who trained me, I was told that the fans didn't matter. Well, you people have mattered to me a lot. And at the MECCA Challenge II, I fulfill my destiny. I may be newer to the sport than some of the mainstays here, but I've proven that I can keep up with them. Stone, not only am I keeping up with you, but I've beaten you twice. Now the third time's a charm, and it will net me my first title here in MECCA, and it's the biggest one of all. Thanks to Dusty and my brother, I now feel like I can take on the world, and Stone, a couple of months ago you said you were going to kill two Crowes with one stone. Well, my brother and I are still here. He and Dusty are winning the tag titles, and I'm taking your strap. You can't kill Crowes, because we always rise from the dead. And that's exactly what your career will be after I've taken that title.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Did My Time" hits and Trent Acid, Ronin Fox and Cynric make their way to the ring.)

David: It's main event time here on our program and we have a big six-man tag for you. Fox and Cynric have definitely had their problems with Acid in the past, but it looks like their new attitudes have allowed them to overlook that.

Dick: We should see more of this in wrestling. Just let the past go.

("Fire" hits and the EDJ make their way to the ring.)

David: Eddie Crowe and the Pyro Twins have big title opportunities coming up at the MECCA Challenge II, and if they're successful, I guess we can call the EDJ the new power in MECCA.

Dick: Kevin Stone and the UK Wrecking Crew will have something to say about that, trust me.

(FINISH: Eddie hits the Eddie Dive onto Fox, but gets taken out with a Yakuza Kick from Acid. Dusty tackles him through the ropes as Cynric prepares for the Lift Off. He charges Eddie, but Jay grabs him by the hair and yanks him backwards, right into the Overhaul. Meanwhile, Acid sends Dusty into the guardrail when Alan Mayse makes his way to ringside. He chases Trent Acid all the way to the back as Fox gets dumped over the top rope by Jay. Dusty gets back in the ring, and they give Cynric Final Darkness, placing Eddie on top of him for the three count.)

Winners: The EDJ

David: The EDJ wins another six-man after the other Toughman Finalist Alan Mayse tried to exact some revenge on Acid for last week, but Acid hightailed it out of here.

Dick: That allowed Eddie and the Pyro Twins to capitalize and keep their momentum.

David: Ladies and gentlemen, next week is our last Go Time before the MECCA Challenge II, and we will see you then...

(Suddenly, Kevin Stone enters the ring and clotheslines Eddie from behind. The Pyro Twins start fighting with him, but the UK Wrecking Crew comes in through the crowd. They attack Jay and Dusty from behind. Fletcher gives Jay the Union Jack, and they give Dusty the Wrecking Ball. Stone picks up Eddie and gives him the Stone Cutter right on top of Dusty. Nathans goes under the ring, looking for something.)

David: It's our MECCA Champion and our Tag Team Champions, and they are laying waste to the EDJ! This isn't necessary. Why don't you save it for April 29, guys?

(Nathans emerges with a can of gasoline. After showing it to the crowd, he gets in the ring. Stone and Fletcher lay the EDJ in a pile in the middle of the ring, and Nathans douses them with gas. Stone takes a Zippo out of Dusty's pocket and raises it high into the air. Before he can light it, an army of officials and referees hit the ring. They back Stone into the corner and take the Zippo away.)

David: Kevin Stone and the UK Wrecking Crew just tried to set fire to the EDJ! When is this going to stop?

Dick: I don't think it's going to stop until someone's hurt, David.

David: We have to get off the air, ladies and gentlemen.... damn those guys! We'll see you next week!
