Go Time: 4/12/06

Cleveland, OH

Quick Rundown Results:
Cheesecake b. Shannon Ballard
Shadow b. Lisa Letty
Ronin Fox b. Dreamo, Wild Wolf
Cynric b. Huh

("Neocon" opening.)

David: Welcome to the Agora Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio, as MECCA continues its tour of the home state, leading right up to the MECCA Challenge II on April 29! I'm David Mills, this is Dick Broccoli, and welcome to Go Time!

Dick: We'll be seeing the MECCA Champion in action tonight in non-title action. In the main event, Kevin Stone will take on Alan Mayse!

David: Plus a rematch from a month ago on Rundown, as the returning Pyro Twins take on Charlie Haas and Low Ki. In addition to that, Lisa Letty takes on Jackie, and she will also announce the fifth member for her team at the MECCA Challenge II.

("The Goon's Theme Remix" hits and the Ballard Brothers make their way to the ring.)

David: We're kicking things off with the twins from Vancouver, Shane and Shannon Ballard.

Dick: They've been making a lot of noise backstage about wanting to be on the card for the MECCA Challenge this year, but they haven't exactly been decorating themselves with victories.

("Pajamarama" hits and the Eccentrics make their way to the ring.)

David: The Eccentrics have a heated issue with another pair of brothers, Ronin Fox and Cynric, and we understand that those two have something to say tonight.

Dick: Sooner or later, there is going to be a confrontation between the two teams, so maybe the Eccentrics are looking at this match as preparation.

(FINISH: The Ballards go for a double brainbuster on Cheesecake, but Huh dropkicks them both in the midsection at the same time. Cheesecake lands back on his feet and gives them a double Long Kiss Goodnight. Huh goes to the top rope for a moonsault, but the Ballards move out of the way. Cheesecake clotheslines Shane out of the ring, and then waistlocks Shannon. He and Huh hit the Flathead and Cheesecake covers for the three count.)

Winners: The Eccentrics

David: The Eccentrics pick up a victory, and one like that over Fox and Cynric at some point could get them back in contention for the tag titles.

("Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox and Cynric come through the curtain. Fox has a mic.)

Dick: We may find out if they can right now, David. Fox and Cynric are here, and they look ready for a fight.

Fox: All right, you two idiots, let's stop beating around the bush. As if you've ever seen bush in your entire life, Huh. That goes for you too, Cheesecake, but for an entirely different reason. We would have beaten your asses and moved on to better things a long time ago, but we kept getting sidetracked with our singles careers. Now, since we don't have anything going on, how about we finally settle this in our hometown of Dayton on April 29? Myself and Cynric against you two.

(In the ring, Huh and Cheesecake nod their assent and tell Fox and Cynric to bring it. Cynric takes the mic.)

Cynric: Sorry to disappoint you, but you're not getting us tonight. My brother has a match with one of your little friends later on, and we're not going to waste time with you. Just make sure you show up at the Hara Arena when it comes time for the MECCA Challenge II. We'll be waiting.

("Soul Creation" hits and they leave.)

David: We have one more match for the MECCA Challenge II, a big time grudge match as the Eccentrics take on Ronin Fox and Cynric. But when we come back, we'll hear from the team that's going to be challenging for the tag titles in just two weeks, the Pyro Twins!

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with the Pyro Twins.)

Bill: I'm here with Jay Crowe and Dusty Schneble, the Pyro Twins. Guys, you've recovered from the burns you suffered at the hands of the UKWC at Melee and the following Go Time, and you returned last week after Katie Piehl announced that you will finally be challenging the UK Wrecking Crew for the MECCA Tag Team Titles at the MECCA Challenge II. Do you finally feel elated at getting the opportunity after so long?

Jay: This all started one year ago when the UK Wrecking Crew beat us in the middle of the ring in the upper brackets of the International Invitational. Now, instead of giving us a rematch, they begged off like a couple of pansies, and held that victory over our heads like it meant something. Then, they decided to go one step further and prevented us from getting our rightful shot at their belts with that stupid restraining order. But the last straw was when they got involved with our conflict with my little brother. But that plan backfired didn't it? What you did to Eddie actually helped us reconcile, and now the EDJ are better than we ever were separate.

Dusty: What started out as Nathans and Fletcher being a couple of bitches ended up with them on our kill list. On April 29, the Pyro Twins will explode... but not on each other. On you two. You've mocked us by using our own namesake against us. We figured out a long time ago that when you play with fire, you get burned sometimes. We can take the heat. Can you? Let us know after we rip those belts off your charred, unconscious bodies.

Bill: Everyone has been looking forward to this match for a long time, especially the fans. But tonight, you return to action against two very talented competitors in Charlie Haas and Low Ki. How do you plan to take care of them?

Jay: Simple teamwork. Low Ki and Haas came up in the business together, as did we. But they've never faced anyone like us before. Tonight, we show the UK Wrecking Crew just a little bit of what they're going to get at the MECCA Challenge II.

Dusty: They might not even make it that far. The UK Wrecking Crew didn't even show up tonight, but who's to say what will happen when they're here next week? Two and a half weeks can be a long time when you're burning. Regardless, we're taking those tag belts at the MECCA Challenge, and Eddie is taking the MECCA Championship, and the EDJ will rule over MECCA with a fiery fist.

(In the arena, "Sweet Dreams" hits and Dreamo stumbles to the ring, along with Medea Knight.)

David: The Pyro Twins have been waiting for this for a year, and they finally get their just due as they challenge for the MECCA Tag Team Championship. Right now, however, Dreamo looks to be a little disoriented.

Dick: That's putting it lightly. He'd better be ready if he's facing Ronin Fox tonight.

("Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)

David: This whole thing started months ago between Fox and Cheesecake, and it has escalated to the point where Fox turned his own brother around to his way of thinking in his war with the Eccentric Alliance.

Dick: They made the challenge earlier, and Huh and Cheesecake accepted. It should be one wild brawl at the MECCA Challenge II.

David: As for this match, Medea Knight requested it on behalf of Dreamo after this past week's Rundown, where Fox basically stole the pin from Dreamo in a Triangle Match that also involved the Wild Wolf of the Killer Kanines.

(FINISH: Fox hits Dreamo with the Tail End, but pulls him up after a two count. He puts Dreamo on his feet and tells him not to pass out. He leaps onto the top turnbuckle and goes for the Fox Fire, but Dreamo indeed passes out, and Fox hits the mat. He moves in on Dreamo, but gets caught with a rolling headscissors after Medea sets off the alarm clock. Dreamo goes wild on Fox with rights and chops, and whips Fox into the ropes. He gives him a back body drop, and then clotheslines him to the mat. He goes for the Dream Sequence, but Fox gets his knees up on the second senton. He gives Dreamo a piledriver and then goes to the top rope, hitting a guillotine legdrop. Fox covers and gets the three count.)

Winner: Ronin Fox

David: Fox wins another one over an Eccentric Alliance member, but the true test is still to come.

Dick: This is just going to add to Fox and Cynric's momentum heading into the MECCA Challenge II. I still don't think we've even seen half of what those two are capable of as a team.

David: Up next, the Pyro Twins will take on Charlie Haas and Low Ki. We'll be right back!

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Kevin Stone is getting a drink from the water fountain when Delirious walks up and taps him on the shoulder.)

Delirious: Ahabarhta phenamenanana alteg?

Stone: Okay, which one are you? I swear, if that's you, Crowe...

(Another Delirious comes up behind Kevin and taps him on the shoulder.)

Delirious 2: Thaeb aeboa elobeaoht aleebe-rhenailng!

(Stone stands in place and fumes as several more Delirii emerge from a nearby hallway and start to circle him. Finally, Stone punches one of them in the face and the rest flee. Stone rips off the mask, and it is Eddie Crowe underneath. Stone pounds away on him and then throws him into some nearby garbage cans. He takes a garbage bag and wraps it over Eddie's head.)

Stone: You want to wear a mask? Huh?

(He continues to suffocate Eddie, until several officials arrive to pull him off. Stone finally lets go.)

Stone: Keep your hands off me. You'd better tell him and his friends not to interfere in my match tonight, or there will be no main event for the MECCA Challenge, got it?

(In the arena, "Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki and Charlie Haas make their way to the ring.)

David: Eddie Crowe once again tried to use Delirious... or Delirii, to make a fool out of Kevin Stone, but it backfired on him this time.

Dick: Stone is still incensed about that trick Eddie played on him a couple of weeks back. But right now, two guys who have been friends for a long time are set to team here in MECCA.

David: Low Ki and Haas teamed a month ago on Rundown against the Pyro Twins and came up unsuccessful. But the fans wanted to see a rematch, and we're giving it to them.

("Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)

David: Jay and Dusty have fully recovered from the burns they suffered at the hands of the UK Wrecking Crew, and the UKWC decided it wasn't in their best interests to show up for work tonight.

Dick: Probably a smart move given the state of mind the Pyro Twins are in. Making them wait until April 29 will only infuriate them further, and the UKWC could work that to their advantage.

(FINISH: Dusty lifts Low Ki for a Death Valley Driver, but Low Ki holds onto the top rope. Dusty pulls him off, but swings his legs around right into referee Keith Young's face. Young goes down as Charlie Haas gets a chair from ringside. Dusty plants Low Ki with the DVD, and then he and Jay set up for Final Darkness. Haas pulls Dusty out of the ring, and Jay goes for a spinning heel kick anyway. Low Ki ducks and Haas cracks Jay in the leg with the chair. Low Ki baseball slides into Dusty, and Haas puts Jay in the Haas of Pain. Low Ki climbs to the top rope, preparing for a double stomp onto Jay's head. However, Joey Sprinklers runs out and gets into the ring. He grabs the ropes, and Low Ki tells him he'd better not think about shaking them. Joey does it anyway, and crotches Low Ki on the top turnbuckle. Haas hits Joey with a forearm to send him to the outside, and then throws the chair at him. However, he turns around and walks right into Final Darkness. Jay hobbles over and covers as Young wakes up and makes the three count.)

Winners: The Pyro Twins

David: The Pyro Twins pick up the victory after an assist from Joey Sprinklers, which equalized the cheating done by Ki and Haas.

Dick: Anytime you can get a big win over superstars like Haas and Low Ki is a good thing for your career, no matter what division you compete in. Now, it's onto the MECCA Tag Team Championship for the Pyro Twins.

(Low Ki glares at Joey from the aisle, and Joey tells him to bring it, with the Pyro Twins backing him up.)

(Backstage, Jackie is with David Caldwell.)

Caldwell: I'm here with the wife of one of the men we just saw compete, Jackie. Jackie, you have another match with Lisa Letty coming up, even though you're not a regular competitor. How do you think you'll match up with Lisa in a pure one-on-one environment?

Jackie: It's real simple. Soon, I will be the woman to beat in MECCA and earn my permanent spot on the ladies' roster. I think it's time that I...

(Lisa Letty walks up to her.)

Lisa: First of all, I don't appreciate what you did to distract Nykk last week. You ended up costing him a title, and though I don't speak for him, I'm sure it doesn't sit well with him. Now, Jackie, the only reason you won our first encounter was because you had help. I won the second encounter fair and square, and tonight the same will occur. Trust me, when your husband returns to WWE after April 29, you will have no protection. So I'd advise you to fold your hand while you still have all your teeth. Get the picture? Run, Jackie... run out of this organization and don't look back. I'll see you out there.

(Lisa leaves.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Liberi Fatali" hits and Jackie makes her way to the ring.)

David: We're back on Go Time and getting ready for ladies' division action, and Lisa Letty had some strong advice for Jackie before the break.

Dick: With Haas on his way back to WWE, Jackie will would be all alone here in MECCA, and she hasn't made any friends.

("Edge of Seventeen" hits and Lisa Letty comes out with a mic.)

David: The First Lady of MECCA has entered the arena, and it looks like she has something more to say.

Lisa: Jackie, it's come to my attention that I have nothing to prove by beating you tonight. So I've decided to step down from this match. However, this is the perfect opportunity to reveal the fifth member for my team at the MECCA Challenge II! Ladies and gentlemen, my partner and Jackie's opponent... Daizee Haze!

("Sensi" by the Long Beach Dub All Stars hits and Daizee Haze makes her way to the ring.)

David: What a partner to round out Lisa's team at the MECCA Challenge. It's Daizee Haze, notable for her appearances in Ring of Honor and SHIMMER: Women Athletes!

Dick: Can Lisa do this? This is hardly fair to Jackie.

David: I don't know, but Jackie actually looks a little relieved that she doesn't have to face Lisa again. We'll see if that relief is just temporary or not.

(FINISH: Daizee hits the Daizee Cutter and goes for a Yakuza Kick, but Jackie moves out of the way. She kicks Daizee in the midsection and lifts her onto her shoulders. She goes for Snake Eyes, but Daizee escapes and pushes Jackie into the corner. She hooks her as she comes out and gives her the Mind Trip, covering for the three count.)

Winner: Daizee Haze

David: Daizee Haze with a successful debut, and she will join Lisa Letty, Heather Star, Zoe Alexander and Kelly Schweickart to face the Dangerous Liaison on April 29.

Dick: Impressive debut by the Haze, but I don't know that she's the opponent to set the Ladies' Champion and company to quaking in their boots.

(Lisa and Daizee embrace as she celebrates the win.)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Gail Kim, Nora Greenwald, Shadow, Misery and LuFisto.)

Bill: I'm here with the Dangerous Liaison, and I just want to get your reaction to what we just saw out there. The fifth opponent for Lisa's team at the MECCA Challenge II was revealed and it was up-and-coming sensation Daizee Haze. What are your thoughts?

Gail: This is the best you could come up with, Lisa? I get a former WWE Women's Champion, and you get some stick of a blond? I guess you're so vain that you just had to look in the mirror to choose your partner. Lisa, bring whoever you want to Dayton, because the Dangerous Liaison, with our latest member Nora Greenwald, are going to claim what is rightfully ours, and that's the power of the ladies' division.

Nora: Who is this Daizee Haze character anyway? I think she's the little girl that when she steps in the ring with me, it's just one Nora-Go-Round away from her elimination. Lisa Letty, you haven't shown me any member of your team that I couldn't beat. I look around me, and I see the most formidable group in ladies' wrestling. That's something I plan on being a part of for a long time. Come the MECCA Challenge II, you five girls will learn firsthand what it takes to step into the ring with me. And believe me, you don't have it. We have the experience advantage, and we have the unity advantage. Let's go, ladies.

(The Dangerous Liaison leave.)

Bill: The Dangerous Liaison claim not to be deterred by Lisa's choice of partner, but I believe that this match is anyone's for the taking. We'll be right back with our main event here on Go Time.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)

David: We're back with our main event, a non-title match featuring the MECCA Champion himself, Kevin Stone. And boy does he have a smug look on his face.

Dick: Well, he finally got one up on Eddie Crowe tonight by beating him up and attempting to suffocate him in the back. But he can't let that distract him from the business at hand, even if it is non-title.

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)

David: Alan is on his way to the finals of the Toughman Tournament at the MECCA Challenge, along with Trent Acid. One of those men will climb a ladder to grab the Toughman Title high above the ring.

Dick: But don't think for a moment that Alan wouldn't be after a MECCA Championship match if he gets a victory here.

(FINISH: Alan goes for the Tiger Bomb, but Kevin escapes and counters into a spinebuster. He signals for the Stone Cutter, but Alan manages to land on his feet. Stone kicks him and goes for a Monster Bomb, but Alan lands on his feet and kicks Stone, delivering the Tiger Bomb. Stone rolls to the ropes as Alan covers, and manages to get a foot on the bottom rope. Alan whips Stone into the ropes but it's reversed. Stone hits a big boot and then signals for the Stone Crusher. He whips Alan into the ropes, but Alan counters into a sleeper. Suddenly, Trent Acid runs down the aisle and slides into the ring. He pulls Alan off of Stone and starts hitting him with right hands. Referee David Bowers calls for the bell.)

Winner: Alan Mayse

David: Stone has been disqualified thanks to interference by Acid, and what a shame. We were having a competitive match here!

(Alan starts to get the better of Acid, but Stone attacks him from behind with a forearm before leaving the ring. Acid takes the opportunity to give Alan a Yakuza Kick. He stands over Alan and motions to his waist.)

Dick: Acid's saying that he's going to be the first Toughman Champion, but who can say in a match as unpredictable as a Ladder Match?

David: We're out of time, fans. Be sure to join us next week as we continue our tour of Ohio in Cincinnati!
