Go Time: 4/5/06

Toledo, OH

Quick Rundown Results:
Heather Star and Kelly Schweickart b. Misery and LuFisto
Eccentrics b. Alan Mayse and Trent Acid
Charlie Haas b. Delirious

("Neocon" opening.)

David: Welcome to MECCA Go Time, everyone! We are here in Toledo, Ohio, kicking off our one month tour of MECCA's home state, which will culminate at the MECCA Challenge II in Dayton on April 29! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli.

Dick: And tonight, the tag titles will be on the line as the UK Wrecking Crew take on Nykk and Eddie Crowe!

David: Plus we've got a dream partner match between the two finalists in the Toughman Tournament. Alan Mayse and a partner will take on Trent Acid and a partner.

Dick: And we'll hear from the MECCA Champion Kevin Stone, who is incensed about being fooled and embarrassed last week.

("Dance Commander" hits and Heather Star makes her way to the ring.)

David: We're kicking things off with the ladies of MECCA, who have a big ten-woman tag coming up at the MECCA Challenge.

Dick: It will be five-on-five with the final partners to be named either tonight or next week. Lisa Letty made the challenge last week, and the Dangerous Liaison accepted.

("My Friend of Misery" hits and Misery makes her way to the ring.)

David: The Dangerous Liaison has been a thorn in the side of the ladies' division for over a year now, and I think that Lisa Letty feels that it's time to take out the trash.

Dick: If Lisa's team wins, the Dangerous Liaison splits up. If they win, however, they get booking control over the ladies' division, which has been their goal all along.

(FINISH: Misery goes for Miserable Times, but Star moves and bounces off the ropes, nailing her with a lariat. She goes to the top rope, but Misery stops her. She goes up too, and they trade right hands. Heather gives Misery two hard headbutts, and Misery falls to the mat. Heather hits the Falling Star Press and gets the three count.)

Winner: Heather Star

David: Heather Star wins it in her first match back from a recent back injury, and she seems ready to defend the ladies' division at the MECCA Challenge.

(Gail Kim walks out and stands at ringside.)

David: What's Gail Kim doing out here? Are we about to see another Dangerous Liaison gang-up?

(Gail motions to the back, and Shadow and LuFisto come out. They hold Heather's arms as Gail continues to motion to the back. Finally, Nora Greenwald comes out and makes her way to the ring.)

David: That's Nora Greenwald! She's a former WWE Women's Champion, and let's just say her favorite tree was the "holly" back then.

Dick: She's also been a mentor for Gail Kim over the years. I think we've found out who the Dangerous Liaison's fifth teammate is.

(Nora attacks Heather with a running forearm and lays into her with right hands. She whips her into the corner, and hits a handspring elbow. Shadow and LuFisto grab Heather again and Nora goes to the top rope, hitting the Nora-Go-Round. Gail gets a mic.)

Gail: In case you haven't guessed it... the newest member of the Dangerous Liaison, and the woman who is going to help us tear through the rest of the ladies' division at the MECCA Challenge II... I introduce to you, a Holly no longer, Ms. Nora Greenwald!

("Brackish" plays and the Dangerous Liaison poses.)

David: That's a formidable team if I ever saw one.

Dick: Lisa Letty better have an ace up her sleeve for April 29.

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Kevin Stone.)

Bill: Kevin, last week you lost a handicap match to Nykk and... well, you thought it was Delirious at the time, but when he in fact pinned you, he unmasked to reveal that it was really Eddie Crowe. That makes twice now that you've been beaten by the challenger for your title at the MECCA Challenge II.

Stone: How? How has he beaten me? In a couple of meaningless tag matches? Eddie, you think you outsmarted me? If you want to play games, you'd better think again, because in just a few weeks, I will have you alone in the middle of that ring, and the second verse will be the same as the first. I'll put you down just like I've put down everyone else who's challenged me for this belt. I'm the MECCA Champion, Eddie, not you. And you never will be... what the hell is this?

(The camera pans over to an adjacent hallway, where Delirious is crawling around, randomly picking up dust and dirt and tasting it. Stone walks over to him.)

Stone: You... it's your fault I even got beaten last week. How much did that little twerp pay you to let him wear your clothes?

Delirious: Bakto?

(Stone grabs his mask and lifts him to his feet, and chokes him against the wall.)

Stone: If you're going to play dumb, why don't we settle this in the ring later on? I could use a punching bag right about now.

Delirious: Aracbve rahebi sema!

Stone: Get out of my sight!

(He turns his back, and Delirious charges over and bites him on the ass before running away. Kevin holds himself in pain.)

Stone: That son of a bitch bit me!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring. He stops halfway down the aisle and motions to the back. Matt Sydal comes out to join him.)

David: We're ready for our dream partner tag team match, and it looks like Alan has chosen Matt Sydal as his partner. They've been friendly over the last few weeks.

Dick: Sydal hung in there with Alan, Fox and Acid in the semi-final match of the Toughman Tournament, and I think that impressed Alan.

("I'm a Soldier" hits and Trent Acid makes his way to the ring.)

David: Now we get to see just who on earth would want to team with Trent Acid. This guy's just a troublemaker.

Dick: He's also got a Ladder Match coming up at the MECCA Challenge with Alan for the Toughman Title.

David: He and Alan were actually forced to team up this week on Rundown, but they just couldn't hold it together and lost to the Eccentrics.

("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)

David: What a formidable partner Acid has chosen, as Low Ki makes his return. This is the first we've seen of him since going to that double DQ against Joey Sprinklers at Melee.

Dick: I think he had to do some soul searching, because Joey is coming closer and closer to actually getting a meaningful win over him.

(FINISH: Alan goes for the Tiger Bomb on Low Ki, but Acid hits him with the Yakuza Kick as he's lifting him. Ki falls on top of Alan, but Sydal breaks up the cover with a shooting star press. Acid throws Sydal out of the ring and goes out after him as Alan and Low Ki exchange rights. Alan catches a kick from Ki and pulls him into an exploder suplex. He goes for a springboard dropkick, but Ki gives him a modified Tidal Crush, and Alan falls to the mat. Ki hits the Ki Krusher, and Acid pleads for the tag. Ki tags him in, and Acid simply covers Alan for the three count.)

Winners: Low Ki and Trent Acid

David: Acid gets the pin over Alan after Low Ki did all the work!

Dick: He wants that psychological edge over Alan for that Ladder Match.

David: He's celebrating like he just won the MECCA Championship! This is just going to inspire Alan to train harder so that he can give Acid what's coming to him at the MECCA Challenge. We understand that we're going to hear from Lisa Letty, and then when we come back, we'll see Kevin Stone take on Delirious in a non-title match!

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Lisa Letty.)

Bill: Lisa, earlier tonight we found out who the Dangerous Liaison's fifth teammate will be for the ten-woman tag at the MECCA Challenge II, and it was none other than former WWE Women's Champion Nora Greenwald. What everyone wants to know now is, just who will be the fifth partner for you and your team?

Lisa: There's no doubt about it. Nora Greenwald is a formidable opponent, and makes the Dangerous Liaison stronger than it's ever been. No, we don't have a former WWE Women's Champion for our team, but we've been talking to one of the hottest up and coming women's wrestling stars out there, and next week, we will reveal our fifth teammate to the world. Dangerous Liaison, I know you're taking us seriously now. At the MECCA Challenge II, all issues will be settled, and your group will no longer terrorize the ladies' division, because your time is at an end.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)

David: The MECCA Champion Kevin Stone is in the arena, and right now he has his sights set on Delirious.

Dick: Kevin seems to feel that since Delirious allowed Eddie Crowe to impersonate him last week that he's responsible for the humiliation that he had to suffer. Now he's called out the man with the lizard face for this non-title contest.

("Hybrid Stigmata" hits and Delirious makes his way to the ring.)

David: He's tweakin' out!

Dick: No one can seem to understand Delirious, but he sure understood what Stone had to say earlier, and as crazy as he is, he's not going to back down...

(Stone attacks Delirious in the aisle and throws him into the ring.)

David: Stone's not going to wait. This match is starting now!

(FINISH: Delirious counters a Monster Bomb into a DDT, and then goes to the top rope. He goes for Shadows Over Hell, but Stone moves out of the way. He bounces off the ropes and nails Delirious in the back of the head with a clothesline and then bounces off the other side to hit a big boot. He whips Delirious into the ropes and hits the Stone Crusher and then covers for the three count.)

Winner: Kevin Stone

David: Kevin Stone is victorious, and I hope he feels better about last week.

Dick: I don't think he's going to feel any better until he beats Eddie Crowe at the MECCA Challenge. Right now he's just sending a message that it's not a good idea to play head games with the MECCA Monster.

David: Still to come, Nykk and Eddie Crowe challenge the UK Wrecking Crew for the MECCA Tag Team Championship, but up next Nykk will be here to address the MECCA fans!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)

David: In just a few weeks, Nykk will compete in the MECCA Challenge for the second year in a row. His opponent is Charlie Haas, who will be having his last night here in MECCA.

Dick: Haas would certainly love to get that victory, and have the bragging rights hanging over Nykk's head forever.

(Nykk gets a mic.)

Nykk: Lovely to see you all tonight. I'm so glad that all of you fans came out to see us tonight, and... you know what? I have a big match in three weeks with Charlie Haas, where the only way to win is by submission or knockout. And this Nykk is not going to get the job done. I admit it. If I go into this match as I am now, I will lose to Haas in my hometown. That's why, for one night only, the Nykk of old will come out. The Nykk who wouldn't think twice about ending someone's career, the Nykk who used any and all means to gain victories will be in attendance. And Haas... you are not prepared to face that. We're on the home stretch to the MECCA Challenge, starting right here in Toledo and ending in Dayton, and Haas, I will remind you every step of the way exactly who I am. I am the Alpha Wolf, and I am the man who will send you back to the E on the path of shame. Ten years you've had in this business, and done absolutely nothing. On April 29, you will finally realize that that's exactly what you are.

(Jackie makes her way to the ring and grabs a mic.)

Jackie: Hold on right there, Nykk. My husband couldn't be here tonight, but I will not sit in the back and listen to you call him nothing. You say that about a three-time former WWE Tag Team Champion?

Nykk: I stand by what I said.

Jackie: I think you're just jealous that Charlie is going to be the one headlining on the biggest shows in wrestling, and you're stuck here in Ohio running a sub-par organization.

Nykk: First of all, how is your husband going to headline the biggest shows in wrestling when he can't even hack it here in this so-called "sub-par" organization? In case you haven't noticed, he hasn't exactly decorated himself with gold. Second of all, I don't believe for a minute that Haas isn't here. Where are you, Charlie?

(Nykk looks around, and Jackie starts berating him and grabs his arm.)

Nykk: Hey. Hold on there. This ring isn't a hot tub, so get off of me!

(Jackie slaps Nykk in the face, and he grabs her by the hair. Charlie Haas suddenly runs down and gets in the ring. Nykk sees him a little too late, and Haas manages to clip his knee. Nykk goes down, and Haas quickly applies the Haas of Pain. Nykk taps out, and Haas lets up as Jackie cheers him on. Haas brings Nykk to his feet and hits a high-angle Haastruction, dropping Nykk onto his head. Nykk lays on the mat as Jackie counts to ten and raises Haas's hand.)

David: Charlie Haas just assaulted Nykk after using his wife as a distraction, and he has laid out his opponent for the MECCA Challenge.

Dick: He not only made Nykk tap, but he knocked him out as well. He's showing Nykk that he can win either way on April 29.

David: We need to get someone out here to help Nykk, because he's still got a match to wrestle tonight. Still to come, Nykk and Eddie Crowe go for the UKWC's tag titles, but right now we're going to hear from Low Ki.

(Backstage, David Caldwell is standing by with Low Ki.)

Caldwell: Low Ki, a few weeks ago, Joey Sprinklers challenged you to one more match at the MECCA Challenge II, saying that he's getting closer to a victory. Please tell me you accept so that you can finally wipe that stain from the shirt of life.

Low Ki: Joey Sprinklers, I have to admit that in the past you have taken me to my limit. But that was when I did not fully understand what you are capable of. Now, I do. And yes, at the MECCA Challenge II we will face once more, this time with the eyes of the world watching on pay-per-view. And I will put this issue to rest when I beat you once again. Joey, do not show up if you are not prepared to risk your career. Do not show up if you are not prepared to risk your life. Because that's exactly what you'll be doing.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "The Goon's Theme Remix" is playing, and Shane Ballard is in the ring.)

David: We're back on Go Time, and just before the break, we saw that Low Ki has accepted Joey Sprinklers's challenge for April 29, and hopefully this will settle the feud.

Dick: We're about to see Joey out here, and we'll see just how rattled he is after hearing what Low Ki had to say.

("Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers skateboards to the ring.)

David: Joey doesn't look too disturbed by Low Ki's words for him before the break. In fact, he seems downright happy.

Dick: He probably didn't see the interview. God knows you can't depend on Joey to pay attention to what goes on around here.

(FINISH: Ballard goes for a diving headbutt, but Joey rolls out of the way. He flapjacks Ballard and calls for Da Sprinklanator. Ballard escapes and tries an Okana Roll, but Joey rolls through and lifts Ballard into Da Hit. Joey covers and gets the three count.)

Winner: Joey Sprinklers

David: Joey picks up the win, and he'll go on to the MECCA Challenge II to face Low Ki and end this feud.

Dick: Well, he has to at least be happy about that, since he wasn't on the card last year.

(Joey gets right up in the camera and says, "See you on April 29, Low Ki!")

(Backstage, the camera is panned upward, looking at the brand new Toughman Championship belt hanging from the ceiling with a ladder under it. Katie Piehl is standing beside it, with Trent Acid and Alan Mayse on either side.)

Katie: What you are looking at right here is the new and unveiled Toughman Championship, which will be decided in just over three weeks in Dayton, Ohio. It will be there that the two men with me will try to scaled this ladder and retrieve the belt from high above the Hara Arena. Alan, you have gone through Shannon Ballard, Joey Sprinklers, Low Ki, Ronin Fox and Matt Sydal to get here. Acid, you have gone through Cheesecake, Nykk, Charlie Haas, Ronin Fox and Matt Sydal to get here. You two gentlemen know what this belt stands for. Though the best wrestler in the company holds the MECCA Championship, the toughest wrestler will hold the Toughman Championship. Standard Toughman Title matches will consist of relaxed rules, with no count-outs or rope-breaks. Disqualifications will only be used for the highest offenses. You can win by knockout as well as pinfall or submission. And most importantly, the toughest man in MECCA will have to be alert and ready to compete at all times, because there is no hierarchy for this belt. Anyone from the opening match to the MECCA Champion can challenge for this belt at any time.

Acid: And that is what will be truly great about me as champion. I'm so used to wrestling in big multi-person matches where you always have to watch your back that this will be right up my alley. Mayse, be prepared for a lot of pain when you step into the ring with me and that ladder.

Alan: Trent, you like to think of yourself as a ladies' man. Tell me, just how much action are you going to get after the MECCA Challenge, when I've busted you up so bad that your own mother won't even want to look at you? You can cause all the pain you want to me, because I'll endure it. I'll endure whatever I have to, if it gets me my first title in MECCA. I'll do what I have to, and go where I need to. And since you're my opponent, where I go, you'll follow. And believe me, you aren't ready to go where I'll take you.

Katie: I wish you both good luck, because you'll need it to win and keep the Toughman Title. Ladies and gentlemen, up next is our main event as the UK Wrecking Crew defend the tag team titles against Nykk and Eddie Crowe!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Destroy" hits and Nykk and Eddie Crowe make their way to the ring.)

David: It's time for the main event, and it will be for the MECCA Tag Team Championship. Nykk and Eddie Crowe earned this match when they took the tag champs to their limit a few weeks ago and then scored a big victory over Charlie Haas and Kevin Stone.

Dick: But they're both focused on their matches at the MECCA Challenge II, and the UKWC hasn't had their opponents announced yet. This could be to their advantage tonight.

("Ironman" hits and the UK Wrecking Crew make their way to the ring.)

David: The Tag Team Champions have reigned for basically an entire year, minus a few weeks in October when the Eccentrics held the belts. This is the most dominant team to come along in some time.

Dick: And it's time to stop the talking and start the fighting. Nykk and Eddie want those belts, and the UKWC is going to have to put up the fight of their lives to keep them.

(FINISH: Eddie goes for the Eddie Dive, but Fletcher gets his knees up. The UKWC goes for the Wrecking Ball on him, but Nykk cuts off Fletcher with a running leg lariat. He backdrops Nathans over the top rope and hits a pescado. Fletcher gets up in the corner and Eddie charges, but Fletcher sends him into the ring post. Eddie falls to the outside as Nykk gets a double leg takedown on Fletcher and goes for the Cedarleaf. Fletcher twists over and grabs the ropes, which allows Nathans to get on the apron and knee Nykk in the face. As Nykk holds his nose, Fletcher rolls him up and gets a quick three count.)

Winners: The UK Wrecking Crew

David: The UK Wrecking Crew with a cheap, but fair victory over their opponents. Nykk and Eddie almost had them.

(Nathans gets in the ring and he and Fletcher put the boots to Nykk. Eddie tries to come back in, but gets elbow dropped by Nathans. He gives Eddie a butterfly suplex, and then the UKWC give him the Wrecking Ball. Fletcher picks up Nykk and gives him the Union Jack as Katie Piehl comes out from the back with a mic.)

David: The UK Wrecking Crew is taking out Nykk and Eddie, and now Katie Piehl is out here.

Dick: She's the one that started all this, booking this match out of spite last week.

Katie: Hold on there, UKWC. You might want to save some of that energy. You might want to save it for April 29 at the MECCA Challenge II. Because I've chosen your opponents for the show. You see, you'll be defending those tag team titles, and it will be against these two men...

("Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins charge to the ring. Nathans and Fletcher bail out and scatter. The Pyro Twins stare after them and then help Nykk and Eddie to their feet.)

David: It's the Pyro Twins! They're back!

Dick: And just in time by the look of it, as Nykk and Eddie were about to get a taste of what they got.

David: But did you hear Katie Piehl? We're finally going to get the Pyro Twins vs. The UK Wrecking Crew, and it will happen in three weeks at the MECCA Challenge II!

Dick: That's big news, and that match has been one year in the making. No hype necessary there.

David: We're out of time, fans, and UK Wrecking Crew, you better run for your lives!
