Go Time: 3/29/06

Indianapolis, IN

Quick Rundown Results:
Gail Kim and LuFisto b. Kelly Schweickart and Zoe Alexander
Cynric b. Delirious
Ballard Brothers drew Concession Dream Team
Alan Mayse b. Ronin Fox

("Neocon" opening.)

David: We are here in Indianapolis, Indiana, and we are just one month away from the MECCA Challenge II, live on pay-per-view. I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight the MECCA Tag Team Titles will be on the line as the UK Wrecking Crew defend against Joey Sprinklers and Matt Sydal.

Dick: And in more tag team action, Gail Kim and Shadow will take on Lisa Letty and Zoe Alexander.

David: We'll also hear from Eddie Crowe, Alan Mayse and much, much more right here tonight.

("Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox and Cynric make their way to the ring.)

David: The brothers Ronin Fox and Cynric are looking to take out the Eccentrics, but a couple of weeks ago it was Huh and Cheesecake who took the fight to them.

Dick: Fox and Cynric are an intimidating team, but the Eccentrics are tough in their own way. I get the feeling this war is coming to a head very soon.

("The Immigrant Song" hits and the Concession Dream Team make their way to the ring, along with Medea Knight.)

David: Two more Eccentric Alliance members, Dreamo and Concession Boy, along with Medea Knight, will test the mettle of Fox and Cynric right here on Go Time.

Dick: These two goofs were already beaten by Fox and Cynric a couple of weeks back. They're not going to be any threat.

(FINISH: The CDT hits the Nocturnal Emission on Fox, and the ref tries to get CB out of the ring. Cynric comes in and gives Dreamo a low blow. However, before he can follow up, Huh and Cheesecake hit the ring and attack Fox and Cynric. The ref calls for the bell.)

Winners: Ronin Fox and Cynric

David: The Eccentrics aren't about to let Fox and Cynric get away with any shenanigans, and the fight is on once again!

(Cheesecake clotheslines Cynric over the guardrail as Fox and Huh trade right hands up the aisle.)

Dick: They're brawling all over the place!

David: We'll be back when we get this all sorted out, fans. Stay with us!

(Commercial Break)

(Outside the arena, the Eccentrics and Ronin Fox and Cynric are in the process of being broken up by officials. When it looks like they've calmed down a bit, Huh and Cheesecake suddenly lunge at Fox and Cynric. Huh rams Cynric into the building's wall, and Cheesecake throws Fox into some bushes. Huh goes back inside and comes back out with two chairs. He hands one to Cheesecake, who cracks Fox over the head with it. Cynric charges to his brother's aid, but Huh gives him a shot to the head as he runs by. Fox and Cynric start to bleed.)

Cheesecake: And there'th plenty more where that came from!

(Cheesecake throws down his chair and walks inside. Huh throws his chair onto Fox.)

Huh: Have a seat!

(In the arena, "Brackish" hits and Gail Kim and Shadow make their way to the ring.)

David: That brawl between the Eccentrics and Fox and Cynric is finally over, and believe it or not, the Eccentrics got a little hardcore and got the better of them!

Dick: That's just going to piss off the brothers. I wouldn't want to be in the Eccentrics' shoes when they wake up.

David: Right now, the ladies are in action, as the Ladies' Champion Gail Kim joins fellow Dangerous Liaison member Shadow for this tag match.

("Edge of Seventeen" hits and Lisa Letty and Zoe Alexander make their way to the ring.)

David: Lisa Letty and Zoe Alexander will be teaming tonight, and after this match, Lisa says that she's going to reveal the proposal she had in mind for the Dangerous Liaison.

Dick: I can't wait.

(FINISH: Lisa puts the Letty Stretch on Gail, but Shadow breaks it up with a senton splash. Zoe dropkicks her through the ropes and then lifts Gail for the Zoetrope. Gail rolls through into a sunset flip as Shadow pulls Lisa from the ring and Gail gets the three count.)

Winners: Gail Kim and Shadow

David: Kim and Shadow got a surprise victory there, as Zoe was just plain caught.

Dick: Never be too sure of victory, or it will be snatched out of your grasp.

(Lisa gets a mic as Shadow and Kim walk up the aisle.)

Lisa: Hold on there, Gail. As I said last week, I have an offer for you that may be of interest. And you don't have to worry about it being cleared by Katie Piehl or MECCA, as if you cared, because I already took care of that. On April 29, we have the MECCA Challenge II coming up. And for the past year, you and your friends have been a thorn in not only my side, but the rest of the ladies of MECCA. So one way or the other, we say that it's time to end. So I got together with Zoe, Kelly and Heather, and we're in agreement. We want the entire Dangerous Liaison in an elimination tag match in Dayton. But it will not be four on four, it will be five on five. Each of our groups will have two weeks to recruit the best partner possible to round out the match. And since you crave the power to influence the ladies division so much, if you win, the ladies' division of MECCA will be under the Dangerous Liaison's control. But if you lose, the Dangerous Liaison must split up for good. So what do you say, girls? It's all or nothing.

(Gail and Shadow confer for a moment, and then Gail heads toward the ring. Lisa hands her the mic.)

Gail: Five on five, huh? And if we win, we get control of the ladies division? We can take you and your little girlfriends on any day and come out on top. You've got yourselves a deal. And as for the fifth partner for our side... I know the perfect person.

("Brackish" plays and Gail exits the ring.)

David: Five on five, an elimination tag match at the MECCA Challenge! It should be interesting to see who each side chooses for their fifth partner.

Dick: It's going to be an all-out war in the ladies division on April 29. Along with Eddie vs. Stone and Nykk vs. Haas, this is going to be the biggest card in MECCA history!

David: We'll have our tag title match when we return, fans. Don't miss it!

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Kevin Stone.)

Bill: Kevin, we're just one month away from the biggest card in MECCA's history, the MECCA Challenge II. And of course, you'll be defending your MECCA Championship against Eddie Crowe, someone who's made great strides in the last year.

Stone: It's funny, because the two of us were in a meaningless six-man opening up the MECCA Challenge last year, and this year we're headliners. Eddie, I don't think you've made enough strides to top me. I'll always be...

(Eddie Crowe walks up.)

Eddie: What, Kevin? You'll always be a footnote in front of my legendary title reign? You know, after some of the stuff you were pulling in our tag match last week, I don't think I want to wait a month. We can go at it right here tonight!

Stone: Do I look stupid? You just want to hurt me before our big match so you at least have a little bit of a chance. But I'll tell you what... I know you usually like to have your little enforcer friends the Pyro Twins backing you up, but they seem to be a little burned out recently. But if you can get any two guys on the roster to face me, I'll beat them right in the middle of the ring.

Eddie: Any two?

Stone: Anyone. And since the Pyro Twins aren't around, I doubt you'll be able to find that many friends, but please... do your best. I'll be waiting in the ring.

(Stone walks away, and Eddie heads off in the opposite direction.)

(In the arena, "Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers and Matt Sydal make their way to the ring.)

David: I think we just got our main event tonight, as Kevin Stone will be facing whatever two wrestlers that Eddie Crowe can find in a handicap match. But right now, tag team gold is on the line.

Dick: Sprinklers and Sydal are now calling themselves S-Squared, and the odds against them are definitely exponential in this one.

("Ironman" hits and the UK Wrecking Crew make their way to the ring.)

David: The dominant tag team champs are without their Grenadiers tonight. I guess they don't expect the Pyro Twins to come back.

Dick: Well, they're not coming back tonight.

David: S-Squared won this match with an upset victory over the Killer Kanines, leapfrogging them in the tag team rankings, and then earned a shot at the titles in singles matches last week.

(FINISH: Sprinklers and Sydal go for the double Here It Is Driver, but Nathans stops them. He throws Joey out of the ring, and whips Sydal into the ropes. He lifts him for a flapjack, but Sydal counters into a hurricanrana. He hits Fletcher with a spinning heel kick and then goes to the top, hitting a shooting star press. He covers, but Nathans breaks it up. Joey attacks Nathans and gives him Da Hit, but Fletcher pulls him out of the ring and rams him into the guardrail. Sydal goes for the legdrop reverse DDT, but Nathans counters into a drop toehold. The UKWC hit the Wrecking Ball, and Fletcher makes the cover for the three count.)

Winners: The UK Wrecking Crew

David: The UKWC pull off another successful defense. Is there no stopping these two?

Dick: I don't know, but S-Squared certainly didn't get the job done.

David: They gave a valiant effort for only teaming together a handful of times, but the tag champs just proved why they are just that. Stone vs. two mystery opponents still to come, but we have to take a short break.

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, David Caldwell is standing by with the UK Wrecking Crew, who are pouring champagne over each other.)

Caldwell: Nathans, Fletcher, you just showed us decisive evidence that you are indeed the greatest tag team in MECCA. Those two idiots never stood a chance.

Nathans: We have demolished every team in MECCA, just like we prophesized a year ago. Now, we roll into the MECCA Challenge II as tag team...

(Katie Piehl enters.)

Katie: Not so fast there, you two. You know, I'm still pissed about what you did to Jay and Dusty at Melee, so I thought I'd just let you know that you're not safe until the MECCA Challenge. As a matter of fact, right here next week on Go Time, you'll be defending those titles again. This time against Nykk and Eddie Crowe. Have a lovely evening.

(Katie leaves.)

Fletcher: What? You can't do this to us!

Caldwell: I agree. What happens if you lose? She doesn't get any big money tag match for the MECCA Challenge.

Nathans: We've got no time to celebrate. Come on.

(Nathans and Fletcher leave.)

(In the arena, "The Goon's Theme Remix" is playing and the Ballard Brothers are in the ring.)

David: How about that, another tag title match next week on Go Time! The UK Wrecking Crew will take on Nykk and Eddie Crowe, who gave the champs a run for their money a few weeks ago.

Dick: The tag team action is really heating up here in MECCA.

("Kobrakai" hits and the Killer Kanines make their way to the ring.)

David: Anubis and the Wild Wolf have to be angered that they were passed over in the title picture yet again, but here's a chance to prove that they have what it takes to be the tag champs.

Dick: The Kanines have been impressive in their tenure here in MECCA, and they're definitely deserving title material. It's only a matter of time until they break through.

(FINISH: The Killer Kanines squash the Ballards, and the match ends with Anubis finishing off Shane with the Sphinx Splash and covering for the three count.)

Winners: The Killer Kanines

David: The Kanines just made a statement, and that statement was that they want a shot at those tag titles.

Dick: The Ballards just didn't have a chance, and they nearly paid for this match with their careers.

(As the Killer Kanines pose, the Ballards regroup and then attack from behind. Shane sends Anubis through the ropes as Shannon hits the Ballard Breaker on Wolf. Shane rams Anubis into the ring post and the Ballards make a run for it.)

Dick: I think the Ballards are about to die.

David: What were they thinking, attacking these two from behind? These Ballards are losing it.

(The Killer Kanines start tearing up ringside.)

David: The Kanines are pissed, and hopefully we can get them calmed down during the break. We'll be right back!

(Commercial Break)

(In Katie Piehl's office, she is standing by with Alan Mayse and Trent Acid.)

Katie: Hello, ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with our two Toughman Tournament finalists, Alan Mayse and Trent Acid. Guys, we're just a month away from crowning the first Toughman Champion at the MECCA Challenge, and I have some exciting news for you. Since this is the Toughman Tournament, just any old match wouldn't do for a show this big. So at the MECCA Challenge II, to crown the first champion, you two will have to reach higher than you ever have before. So not only will this be the first Toughman Title match in history... this will also be the first Ladder Match in MECCA history!

Alan: You know, a Ladder Match is fine by me, as I've had plenty of experience with those. Acid, you be sure to take a long look at that belt hanging from above the ring on April 29, because that's the closest you'll ever get to it. But in the meantime, I have a little challenge for you. Since I know that I can't wait to get at you, how about next week we have ourselves a little dream partner tag match? You bring whoever will team with you, and I'll bring one of my friends, and we'll tear it up next week.

Acid: Mayse, any kind of match that MECCA throws at us, it doesn't matter. I will beat you. And next week, I accept your challenge. Bring whoever you want, because I've got a partner in mind that will make sure that when it comes time for the MECCA Challenge, you can barely walk.

(Mayse and Acid stare each other down.)

(Meanwhile, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Nykk.)

Bill: Nykk, you have to be excited as part owner of MECCA that you are a month away from our biggest show ever, and you've got Charlie Haas in the MECCA Challenge. What are your thoughts about that?

Nykk: MECCA has come a long way in just a little over a year in its existence, and I have to admit, when I started MECCA as a result of RCW's difficulties, I never really intended it as any more than a way to replace income for all the wrestlers in case RCW did die out. But it has grown into so much more than that, and I am damn proud to be such a large part of it. Haas, I gave my thoughts on you last week, and nothing's changed since then. But for tonight, Eddie Crowe was looking for two people to face Kevin Stone earlier, and I'm proud to say that he has chosen me as one of Stone's opponents in the main event.

Bill: Any idea on who the other man will be?

Nykk: I don't know, but I do know this. Stone, you could just barely get by me when it was only me in there. What are you going to do when I have help? Just how badly are you willing to be embarrassed tonight? Trust me, you're going to regret your earlier bravado, and that regret comes in the form of the Alpha Wolf.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)

David: It's main event time, as set up earlier by Eddie Crowe, and the man on the way to the ring right now, the MECCA Champion himself.

Dick: He'll be facing two opponents tonight, handpicked by Eddie. We know that Nykk is one, but we don't know the other.

("Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)

David: Nykk and Stone have history, as it was Stone who won the title from Nykk in the first place, and has been successful holding him at bay since then.

Dick: Nykk's focused on Charlie Haas right now, but you know that the MECCA Championship is never far from his mind.

("Hybrid Stigmata" hits and Delirious makes his way to the ring.)

David: This is Eddie's other opponent? Delirious!?

Dick: Well, that's an interesting... choice... I mean, Delirious is a capable... who am I kidding? What was Eddie thinking with this one?

(FINISH: Nykk hits Stone with a leg lariat from the top rope, and covers for a two count. He goes for the Cedarleaf, but Kevin punches him in the face and then kicks him into the corner. He gives Nykk a powerslam, and Nykk rolls from the ring. Delirious comes in and hits Stone in the back. He whips him into the ropes, but Stone reverses. He goes for the Stone Cutter, but Delirious lands on his feet and kicks Stone. He gives him a Gutwrench Driver, and then goes to the second rope, hitting a backwards 450. Nykk then hits a swan splash from the opposite corner and covers for the three count.)

Winners: Nykk and Delirious

David: Wait a minute... Delirious just used Eddie Crowe's moves to put down Stone!

(Delirious takes off his mask, revealing that it was really Eddie Crowe who was underneath.)

David: It's Eddie Crowe! He said he wanted at Kevin tonight, and he found a way!

Dick: Stone is going to be very angry when he realizes what happened. He was just beaten by the two men who will go for the tag titles next week.

David: Until then, we must say good night. Join us next week for more MECCA action.
