Eddie Crowe b. Andy Nathans

("Neocon" opening.)

David: MECCA is making its debut here Des Moines, Iowa, with Go Time, right here on FSN! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight we will determine the challenger for the MECCA Championship at our organization's premier showcase, the MECCA Challenge. The Contender Star will explode in a Supernova Spectacle as it will be Nykk vs. Alan Mayse vs. Low Ki vs. Jay Crowe vs. the Contender Star's newest addition as of Rundown, Eddie Crowe!

Dick: But Eddie has an uphill battle to climb, because he's also involved in the last of the quarter-final matches for the Toughman Tournament tonight, as he faces off against Ronin Fox and Concession Boy.

David: Plus we will hear from the MECCA Champion, Kevin Stone. All of that and so much more tonight.

("Burning Times" hits, and Dusty Schneble makes his way to the ring, along with Jay Crowe.)

David: We're about to see Dusty Schneble in singles action, because his partner Jay is in the Supernova Spectacle later, but both Pyro Twins are coming out here.

Dick: I think they may have something on their minds tonight.

(Dusty gets a mic.)

Dusty: We did this last week... I know we can't get them in a match tonight, because Jay has a chance at the big belt later... but sooner or later, the Pyro Twins will be your new MECCA Tag Team Champions, when we get our hands on the UK Wrecking Crew! Nathans, Fletcher, why don't you both be like something resembling human beings and get your asses out here and accept our challenge?

Jay: You two have been walking around with those belts for almost a year. No one has even come close to stopping you. But you know what? You never defended against us. So get out here right now, or we will murder everyone who stands across the ring from us until you're forced to come out here.

(They wait, but the UK Wrecking Crew doesn't show.)

Jay: That's what I thought. Hey, all you fans, if you ever go to London, don't even bother going to a whorehouse... because we've got two English pussies right here in MECCA!

(They wait again, but the UK Wrecking Crew still doesn't come out.)

Dusty: That's fine, Nathans, Fletcher. You cower in the back, hiding under your covers and hugging your... Grenadiers... close. Jay, you've got a chance at the MECCA Championship later, but right now I'm going to destroy someone myself. Let's go!

(Jay leaves as "The Goon's Theme Remix" hits and Shane Ballard makes his way to the ring, looking like he doesn't really want to be across the ring from Dusty.)

David: Shane Ballard has certainly had better nights, and I'm saying this before he even steps in the ring.

Dick: The Pyro Twins are getting impatient at wanting Nathans and Fletcher in the ring now that they're back on the winning track, and that spells pain for anyone unlucky enough to be in the ring with them.

(FINISH: Dusty pretty much squashes Shane, referring to him as Nathans or Fletcher every time he hits a move. He whips Shane into the ropes, but Shane is able to tip up and dropkick Dusty into the corner. He hits him with some chops and whips him to the opposite corner and charges, but Dusty moves. He catches Shane with the Rope Burn I, but picks him up at two. He gives him the Rope Burn II and then goes to the top rope. As Shane staggers up, Dusty hits him with a kneedrop to the back of the head, knocking him out. He covers and gets the three count.)

Winner: Dusty Schneble

David: Dusty with a singles victory of his own, and if he keeps this up, we could have both Pyro Twins on the Contender Star.

Dick: He destroyed Shane Ballard just like he said he would, but his mind was obviously on Jack Fletcher and Andy Nathans.

David: When we come back, the ladies of MECCA will be here, and Zoe Alexander will take on LuFisto.

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Gail Kim.)

Bill: I'm here with the MECCA Ladies' Champion, the Sensation of Submission Gail Kim. Gail, at Bloody Valentine you did end up taking the fall in your Four-Way Match to Kelly Schweickart, which means that at Melee you have to give her a rematch for the Ladies' Title. Last time you met, she had you down for the count and you would have lost the belt if Shadow hadn't interfered and forced a DQ. Does Kelly have your number?

Gail: Not only does she not have my number, she doesn't even have my damn area code. Kelly, you've been lucky against me a couple of times, but I was just playing before. Now you've got my full attention, and believe me, that's something you don't want. I was breaking into this business when you were still tossing around pom-poms in high school. I wouldn't trust you to lace my boots properly, let alone beat me for this belt. But you have your little fantasy, Kelly, because on March 11 that dream will viciously collide with reality, and you will be left drowning in a pool of your own tears.

(In the arena, "Sold Me" hits and LuFisto makes her way to the ring.)

David: Strong words from the Ladies' Champ, and I don't think I've ever seen her more focused.

Dick: I think she takes it personal that Kelly has been able to beat her so many times in the last couple of months.

David: The ladies are in action right now, as the First Lady of Hardcore LuFisto makes her way down.

Dick: We haven't seen much of LuFisto recently, but she has been keeping sharp on Rundown. Maybe she's ready to give it a go on the main show again.

("TKO" hits and Zoe Alexander makes her way to the ring.)

David: Zoe was involved in that big Four-Way match at Bloody Valentine, but unfortunately for her, she didn't come out on top.

Dick: She's still a fierce competitor, and I'm sure that she wants to work her way up to another title shot as quickly as possible.

(FINISH: LuFisto jumps off the second rope, but Zoe catches her with a fist to the midsection. She whips her into the ropes and gives her a back body drop, followed by a clothesline. She hits a brainbuster, and then goes for the Zoetrope, but LuFisto forces her way back to her feet and counters with a piledriver. She hook in LuFisto's Law, and Zoe taps out.)

Winner: LuFisto

David: LuFisto proves that she still has it with a win over Zoe Alexander here on Go Time.

Dick: Shadow may not be the only Dangerous Liaison member seeking a title shot from Gail soon.

David: The Toughman Tournament continues when we come back. We'll have the last match of the quarter-finals: Eddie Crowe vs. Ronin Fox vs. Concession Boy!

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Concession Boy is selling sodas to some fans very hurriedly when the rest of the Eccentric Alliance enters the scene.)

Cheesecake: CB, what are you doing? You have a match in a few minutes!

CB: I know, I know! But I can't just drop what I'm doing and wrestle when there's merchandise and concessions to sell, and cash to be made.

Cheesecake: Li'th'en, you're the only Eccentric to advan'th in thi'th tournament! You have to go out there and represent us all. What is money compared to the glory you'll win if you become fir'th't Toughman Champion?

CB: You think so, ja?

Cheesecake: I know so. Right, guy'th?

Delirious: Bah!

Huh: Huh?

Medea: Whatever you say.

CB: All right, I'll do it! Fame and glory are mine! Just one question!

Cheesecake: What?

CB: Which way's the ring?

(Cheesecake points down the hall, and CB takes off.)

(In the arena, "Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring, along with Cynric.)

David: It's time for the last quarter-final match of the Toughman Tournament, a Triangle Match with one fall to a finish. It looks like Fox decided to bring some backup out here.

Dick: Cynric could definitely be a threat in the chaos that accompanies a multi-person match. And you can bet that his target will be Concession Boy because of that feud that's developing between Fox and Cynric and the Eccentric Alliance.

("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring, accompanied by the Pyro Twins.)

David: Fox isn't the only one who brought some backup, as Eddie has his brother Jay and best friend Dusty watching his back.

Dick: Interesting thing here is that later on, Eddie and Jay will be opponents in that Supernova Spectacle.

("The Immigrant Song" hits and Concession Boy makes his way to the ring, with the rest of the Eccentric Alliance. CB is trying to sell some last minute concessions, but Dreamo ends up stumbling into him and spilling them everywhere.)

David: It looks like Concession Boy brought an entire army with him. Huh, Cheesecake, Delirious, Dreamo and Medea Knight are all out here, and they're already causing chaos.

Dick: Chaos and confusion seem to be the only members missing from the Eccentric Alliance, but they're always there in spirit.

(FINISH: There is so much interference that the ref just ends up sending everyone at ringside back to the locker room. Eddie gives Fox a running brainbuster and then gives CB a flatliner, applying the Crowe's Nest. However, before CB can tap out, Fox comes off the top, dropping a guillotine legdrop on both of them. He rolls Concession Boy over and gets the three count.)

Winner: Ronin Fox

David: Fox steals the victory after taking a gamble on the willpower of CB and taking that extra time to go to the top rope and break up the Crowe's Nest.

Dick: Clever move by Ronin Fox, and he's now made it to the semi-finals, along with Alan Mayse, Trent Acid and Matt Sydal.

David: When we come back, we understand that Katie Piehl will make it official, and we'll also hear from Low Ki.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "I've Got the Power" is playing, and Katie Piehl is in the ring with a microphone. Ronin Fox, Matt Sydal, Alan Mayse and Trent Acid are all there as well.)

Katie: Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, and I have called these four competitors to the ring because this is what remains of the Toughman Tournament. So, on Saturday, March 11, Melee, live on FSN, it is now official. The semi-finals of the Toughman Tournmant will take place: Alan Mayse vs. Trent Acid vs. Ronin Fox vs. Matt Sydal in a Four-Way Match where only the first two eliminations count. Here's how it will work... tags will be necessary, and as soon as a fall occurs, the winner and loser must exit the ring. The loser, is of course, eliminated, but the winner is then safe and will be one of the finalists on April 29. The remaining two will then battle it out in a regular singles match, with the winner joining his fellow victor in the finals at the MECCA Challenge. So here are your...

(Mayse asks for the mic, and Katie gives it to him.)

Alan: Don't mean to cut you off, boss, but I think that one thing is important here and that's sportsmanship. We've all had two tough matches to get where we are, and I just want to offer my hand to the men that I will be facing at Melee. Yes, even you, Fox, even though you led my tag team partner down the wrong path. Let's shake hands and get it out of the way, because at Melee, I'm doing whatever it takes to make it to the finals.

(He extends his hand, and Matt Sydal shakes it. Fox reluctantly takes Alan's hand, but Alan suddenly pulls him in and hits a hard clothesline. He gives Sydal a back elbow and then takes a swing at Acid, but Acid ducks out of the ring. As Alan jaws with him, Sydal and Fox attack Alan and whip him into the ropes. Alan ducks under a double clothesline and hits a tope onto Acid on the outside. Fox clocks Sydal out of nowhere, and he responds with some right hands of his own.)

David: It's broken down already, and it was Alan Mayse out of all people who fired the first shot!

Dick: He's really serious about being the first Toughman Champion, but he's got the Supernova Spectacle later on. How wise is this?

David: It will be Mayse vs. Acid vs. Fox vs. Sydal at Melee, and before this gets out of hand, let's go to David Caldwell, who's standing by with Low Ki.

(Backstage, David Caldwell is with Low Ki.)

Caldwell: Low Ki, last week that idiot Joey Sprinklers called you out for one more match. Please tell me you've accepted and are going to rip that scrawny punk's head off.

Low Ki: Caldwell, you saw it and everyone saw it. Joey Sprinklers called me out in front of the world. This is a new Joey Sprinklers... it was a courageous thing you've done. Instead of running and hiding, you chose to confront your worst fear in the hopes of moving up in this company. But it's also the worst mistake you ever made, Joey. Yes, if you want to fight, I'm always here. But rest assured, I will not hold back, Joey, and your end is coming very soon... as a matter of fact, it's coming at Melee. Because after I win this Supernova Spectacle tonight, I am going on to main event the MECCA Challenge on April 29, and taking home the MECCA Championship. Sprinkles, you're just something to do in the meantime. I understand you have a match on next... and that's okay. I'm here to beat four other competitors on the Contender Star. So you're safe for tonight, Joey, but after I've secured my title shot, you will have my undivided attention until March 11 in Louisville.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "The Goon's Theme Remix" is playing and Shannon Ballard is in the ring.)

David: We're back on Go Time, and the other twin of the Ballard Brothers, Shannon, is out here ready for action.

Dick: Shane got the crap kicked out of him by Dusty Schneble earlier on, and we're being told that he's still seeing stars in the back, so Shannon's going at this alone.

("Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers skateboards his way to the ring.)

David: We heard from Low Ki before the break, and he accepted the challenge of Joey Sprinklers, and that match will be taking place at Melee.

Dick: Things were going so well for Joey... relatively speaking... and he had to go and mess it all up. He doesn't stand a chance against Low Ki.

(FINISH: Shannon goes for a brainbuster, but Joey hits him in the midsection and drops into an inside cradle for a two count. He whips Shannon into the corner and hits him with a running shoulder block. He then lifts him into a fireman's carry and spins him around into a sitout gourdbuster. He then locks in a Dragon Clutch and Shannon taps out.)

Winner: Joey Sprinklers

David: Joey Sprinklers wins with that new move that he simply calls "Da Hit" followed by a Dragon Clutch! That's Low Ki's move.

Dick: What in the hell is he doing!? Does he want to die?

David: Joey did take Low Ki to the limit back at No Regrets, and he was angry then. Maybe Joey thinks that he can pull out the victory this time if he can get Low Ki to overheat.

Dick: If Low Ki overheats, Joey Sprinklers will be the one who gets burned. Hell, the entire town of Louisville might go up in flames!

(Joey gets his arm raised in victory and then leaves ringside chanting, "I'm not afraid of Low Ki" to himself.

(In the locker room, Kevin Stone is sitting down with the MECCA Championship over his shoulder.)

Stone: For those of you just joining us, my name is Kevin Stone and I am the current MECCA Heavyweight Champion. Now, later tonight MECCA's Contender Star explodes. It will be the Supernova Spectacle to see who goes for this title at the MECCA Challenge. Alan Mayse, I've already beaten you. I know what you're all about, and you've got your hands full with three other guys in a tournament for a belt that has no chance of living up to the prestige of what I've done for this title. Same goes for you, Nykk. You're old hat by now. Matter of fact, you've never beaten me in MECCA, have you? I took this belt from you, and defended it successfully against you twice. Low Ki, you and I have had a sort of bond over the last six months... and you even had a shot against me, and granted, I didn't get the pinfall victory, but look at who's still the champ, and who's fighting the little blond guy with the skateboard. And that brings us to the Crowe Brothers... Jay, you and Dusty are probably the most dangerous tandem in wrestling right now... but by yourself, you're just a punk. Eddie, you did get a pin on me a couple of weeks ago, but I assure you, were we to meet one on one, I'd be sending you home in a bodybag. The fact of the matter is this... no matter who wins, you all lose. Because no one is taking this belt from me, not at the MECCA Challenge, or any other date. You're all scouted and prepared and already served up on a silver platter to me. And at the MECCA Challenge, I stand high and glorious, letting the vultures feast on your remains. I'm through here.

(He gets up and leaves.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)

David: We've got our main event coming up, and it's a Five-Way Supernova Spectacle for a spot in the main event of the MECCA Challenge. Nykk was in the main event to crown a first champion last year, and his pride will not let him have any less this year.

Dick: The Alpha Wolf has to live up to his name by being on top, and beating the other members of the Contender Star definitely earns you a lot of respect.

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)

David: Alan came close to winning the MECCA Championship at Bloody Valentine, but did not get the job done. He was also in a brawl earlier with the other semi-finalists of the Toughman Tournament.

Dick: I don't know how much that hurt Alan, but he's coming into this thing having already been in a fight whereas everyone else is fresh.

("Burning Times" hits and Jay Crowe makes his way to the ring.)

David: Jay won his way onto the Contender Star last week by beating Cynric, and what a story if he could go after his first singles title and win it at the MECCA Challenge.

Dick: But where would that leave his partner Dusty?

("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)

David: Low Ki made his return to the Contender Star after a long absence a few weeks ago, and he's wasting no time in going after the MECCA Championship.

Dick: But he's got Joey Sprinklers on his mind at the moment, who he will meet at Melee. But after that match, Low Ki is certainly free for any bout at the MECCA Challenge.

("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring.)

David: The fans love Eddie Crowe for his explosive offense and high-risk style, and that could factor in to him getting the main event slot on April 29.

Dick: Eddie has shown so much fire since reuniting with Jay and Dusty, but can that translate into gold?

(The first elimination occurs when Eddie gives Alan the Gutwrench Driver. Alan barely manages to kick out, and Eddie gets dropkicked in the face by Nykk. Nykk then gives Alan Howling Moon II and covers for the pin. Jay is the next eliminated by Low Ki after a Ki Krusher. Nykk whips Eddie into the corner and charges, but Eddie moves and Nykk shoulders the ring post. Low Ki gets up on the apron and kicks Nykk in the face, sending him down. Low Ki goes up for a corkscrew phoenix splash, but Eddie goes up with him and trades rights. Nykk gets up and goes to the second rope, hooking them both and taking them over with a double superplex. Eddie rolls out of the ring as Nykk and Low Ki get to their feet. Nykk goes for a suplex, but Low Ki lands behind him and rolls him up. He bridges, but Eddie grabs his hands from the outside and pulls his shoulders down as Nykk lifts one of his, and Low Ki is pinned. Enraged, Low Ki goes to the top rope and double stomps Eddie in the back of the head as he's trying to get Nykk up, and then leaves. Nykk wastes no time in applying the Cedarleaf, but Eddie makes it to the ropes. Nykk goes for the Trinity, but Eddie blocks the German suplex. He reverses the waistlock, and Nykk tries to elbow him. Eddie ducks and lifts Nykk into a fireman's carry, slamming him to the mat. He jumps to the second rope and vaults off into a backwards 450 splash. He covers and gets the three count.)

Winner: Eddie Crowe

David: Eddie Crowe is going to the main event of the MECCA Challenge, and will face Kevin Stone if he is still the MECCA Champion!

Dick: You have to hand it to Eddie. He just beat four of the toughest competitors that MECCA has to offer.

David: Can Eddie follow up on this and win the MECCA Championship on April 29? We'll find out soon enough. That's a wrap for this week, fans. Join us again next week for another edition of Go Time!

(The Pyro Twins come out to celebrate, and Eddie and Jay shake hands.)
