Go Time: 2/8/06

Green Bay, WI

Quick Rundown Results:
Trent Acid/Killer Kanines b. Matt Sydal/Pyro Twins
Shadow b. Kelly Schweickart
Eddie Crowe and Joey Sprinklers b. Ballard Brothers

("Neocon" opening.)

David: We are here in Green Bay, Wisconsin, just three days before Bloody Valentine, live on pay-per-view. I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight the Toughman Tournament continues with quarter-finals action, it will be Nykk vs. Trent Acid vs. Charlie Haas in a Triangle Match.

Dick: We'll also see the MECCA Tag Team Champions, the UK Wrecking Crew, take on the Concession Dream Team in a non-title match.

("Brackish" hits and Gail Kim and Shadow make their way to the ring.)

David: We're going to see a Triangle Match this Saturday on pay-per-view when Gail Kim takes on Kelly Schweickart and Zoe Alexander. If Kim takes the fall, the winner will then challenge her at Melee for the Ladies' Championship.

Dick: Shadow has to be jealous that two of the Dangerous Liaison's biggest rivals have an opportunity at the title and she doesn't.

("Edge of Seventeen" hits and Lisa Letty and Kelly Schweickart make their way to the ring.)

David: Kelly's all prepped for her upcoming match, as well she should be, since she was about to pin Kim at Snowed In when Shadow ran in to cause the DQ and save the title. But the First Lady of MECCA has her own engagement at Bloody Valentine. After we went off the air last week, she and Nykk accepted the challenge of Charlie Haas and Jackie for the first ever mixed tag match in MECCA history.

Dick: Of course, Lisa is always eager to get her hands on the Dangerous Liaison.

(FINISH: Kelly gives Kim a hardway suplex as Lisa charges Shadow and gets backdropped over the top rope. Lisa lands on the apron, but Shadow blocks a right hand and snaps Lisa's head across the top rope as Kelly hits the Kelly Cyclone on Gail. However, when she goes to cover, Shadow hits a modified Interceptor, striking the back of Kelly's head. She turns Kelly over and gets the three count.)

Winners: Gail Kim and Shadow

David: Shadow wins it for the Dangerous Liaison's side after Kelly once again had Gail beat.

Dick: Shadow seems to be building up some goodwill with the Sensation of Submission, but only time will tell if that translates into a title shot.

(Katie Piehl makes her way to the ring as Kim and Shadow pass her up the aisle.)

David: The co-owner of MECCA, Katie Piehl, is out here now. What does she have to say?

(Katie gets a mic.)

Katie: You all have seen the issues that have sprung up recently here in MECCA. Nykk and Charlie Haas don't like each other, Ronin Fox and Cynric and the Eccentrics are costing each other titles, and so on. So for tonight's main event, here in our Green Bay debut, I thought we'd take care of some of those issues all at once. That's why the main event tonight will be a ten-man tag match. On one side, you'll have Nykk, Alan Mayse, Joey Sprinklers and the Eccentrics. On the other side, you'll have Ronin Fox and Cynric, Trent Acid, Charlie Haas and our MECCA Champion, Kevin Stone. As you are all aware, Nykk, Haas and Acid will also be involved in the Toughman Tournament match later on. However, to truly be considered tough, you have to press on even though the fatigue of wrestling twice in one night could get to you. Therefore, boys, tough luck. We'll see you in action later... and again later. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, and enjoy the show!

("I've Got the Power" plays and Katie exits the ring.)

David: A big ten-man tag is our main event tonight! But up next, three of those men will compete in a quarter-final match in the Toughman Tournament. We'll have Nykk vs. Charlie Haas vs. Trent Acid when we return.

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Closer" hits and Trent Acid makes his way to the ring.)

David: We're back and ready to continue with the quarter-finals of the Toughman Tournament. Two weeks ago, we saw Alan Mayse advance to the semi-finals, but who will follow him?

Dick: Well, Trent Acid may be a troublemaker, and he didn't have the best of luck in 2005, but he could be ready to break out at any time.

("Liberi Fatali" hits and Charlie Haas makes his way to the ring, along with Jackie.)

David: Charlie Haas and Jackie will meet Nykk and Lisa Letty at Bloody Valentine. This whole thing started when... wait, it's Nykk!

(Nykk attacks Haas from behind, and the two brawl over the ringside area. As they trade rights, Acid vaults over the top rope with a somersault plancha and takes them both out. He trades rights with them and throws Nykk into the ring. He and Haas follow and referee Keith Young calls for the bell.)

(FINISH: Nykk escapes from a Haastruction attempt, and gets Haas with the Trinity. He applies the Cedarleaf, but Acid comes in and superkicks Nykk to break it up. He bounces off the ropes for the Yakuza Kick, but Nykk ducks and Acid nails Haas. Nykk schoolboys Acid and gets a close two count. He whips Acid into the corner and charges in with a European uppercut. Nykk bounces off the ropes for his running knee, but Acid pulls Nykk down into the second turnbuckle. He rolls Nykk up and puts his feet on the ropes, getting the three count just before Haas can break it up.)

Winner: Trent Acid

David: Trent Acid gets the win, and that has to be considered an upset when you look at the other two in this match.

Dick: Nonetheless, Acid joins Alan Mayse in the semi-finals, and they'll be joined by two others after Ronin Fox vs. Concession Boy vs. Eddie Crowe and Dusty Schneble vs. Matt Sydal vs. Jack Fletcher.

David: When we come back, the tag team champs will be in action.

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Joey Sprinklers is lying on the floor unconscious, with some EMTs tending to him. Alan Mayse and the Eccentrics are standing nearby.)

EMT: Joey? Joey, can you hear me?

(Nykk walks up.)

Nykk: What happened?

Alan: The UK Wrecking Crew and their Grenadiers jumped him. Said it was payback for saving Eddie last week.

Nykk: Is he going to be able to compete later?

EMT: Right now, it doesn't look good.

Alan: We're going to have to start looking for a new partner, guys.

(They nod and go off in opposite directions.)

(In the locker room, Gail Kim is with Shadow.)

Shadow: You know, I still don't understand it. Kelly Schweickart and Zoe Alexander are getting a chance at your title on Saturday, yet me, your good friend, the one who put this group together, has not gotten one single shot yet. Maybe you haven't been paying attention, but I just pinned Kelly in the middle of the ring tonight, just like I did on Rundown too. So where's my shot, Gail?

Gail: Shadow, it's true you may have given me an opportunity at the title when you were champion. But when you were champion... you dropped the ball. You had a chance to do something great, you had a chance to take control of the ladies' division, but your reign ended after only a short time. You think I'd chance losing this belt to you and having that happen all over again? We are engaged in a life or death struggle with Katie Piehl over control of the ladies' division, and to win this war, I can't be fighting with my own teammates. That's why you haven't gotten a title shot. And that's my final word on the matter.

(Gail leaves the locker room.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Sweet Dreams" hits and the Concession Dream Team make their way to the ring.)

David: The team of Dreamo and Concession Boy don't have a match coming up at Bloody Valentine, but we just learned that due to the challenge made last week, and a victory over an established team on Rundown, Katie Piehl has granted Eddie Crowe and Joey Sprinklers a shot at the UK Wrecking Crew's tag belts this Saturday.

Dick: And if the CDT can get a victory here, they can use that to challenge whichever team comes out on top on pay-per-view.

("Ironman" hits and the UK Wrecking Crew make their way to the ring.)

David: What revenge it would be if Eddie was able to take the MECCA Tag Team Championship from the men who put him out of action back in November, Andy Nathans and Jack Fletcher.

Dick: The UK Wrecking Crew are resourceful, though. That's why they've been champions for the better part of the last year. Eddie and Joey have their work cut out for them.

(FINISH: The CDT go for the Nocturnal Emission, but Fletcher clips CB's knee, and Nathans counters into a DDT on Dreamo. They hit the Wrecking Ball on CB and Nathans covers for the three count.)

Winners: The UK Wrecking Crew

David: The UK Wrecking Crew dispatch the Concession Dream Team without too much trouble, and they're now on their way to defend those titles at Bloody Valentine.

Dick: And if they get by Eddie and Joey, the Pyro Twins are waiting in the wings to finally get their hands on them.

(Backstage, the Eccentrics are wandering around looking for a partner. Cheesecake walks up to Delirious.)

Cheesecake: Deliriou'th, old buddy, how would you like to be in the main event tonight?

Delirious: Meahaba? Me! Bah! Bah!

Cheesecake: Good, just...

(David Caldwell walks up with a mic.)

Caldwell: Hey!

(He spooks Delirious, who crawls under a clothing rack and won't come out.)

Cheesecake: Now look what you did!

Caldwell: So have you two losers managed to find an even bigger loser to be on your losing team tonight?

Cheesecake: It'th none of your business, Caldwell, but no we haven't. Huh, do you have any ideas?

Huh: Uh...

(He spots Trent Acid walking by.)

Huh: Hey Trent, you want to be on our team tonight?

Acid: Are you kidding me? I'm one of your opponents, you idiot!

Cheesecake: I guess we'll jus'th't have to look...

(Suddenly they're blindsided by Ronin Fox and Cynric. Fox throws Cheesecake into the wall, while Cynric beats down Huh. Fox grabs a chair and cracks it over Cheesecake's head. Cynric puts Huh's head against the wall, and Fox sandwiches it with the chair.)

Fox: You two have interfered in our business for the last time, got it? And since we know you'll just forget about this warning after a few days, rest assured we'll take every possible opportunity to remind you!

(They walk away as the Eccentrics bleed all over the place.)

(Commercial Break)

(Nykk and Alan Mayse are with Katie Piehl in her office.)

Katie: Listen, I know what just happened before the break, but I'm afraid there's nothing we can do. Huh and Cheesecake are on their way to the hospital right now, and the entire Eccentric Alliance went with them.

Nykk: So what about tonight? Who's going to team with us?

Katie: I'm afraid that we owe the fans a main event... if you two can't find partners, it will just have be a big disadvantaged handicap match.

Alan: You're kidding me.

Katie: This is our Green Bay debut. We can't do a bait and switch.

Nykk: You're right. We'll just have to come up with a plan, that's all. Come on.

(As soon as they leave, Shadow barges in.)

Shadow: This is getting ridiculous, Piehl. I've beaten Kelly Schweickart, the supposed number one contender, twice and have yet to receive even a consideration for a title shot.

Katie: You're coming to me about a title shot after all that crap you pulled last summer? This is rich. Completely lost control of your own group, have you? I would think that under your ideals that Gail Kim would be happy to grant you a title shot. But you're right. You have been doing well lately, so I'm adding you to the match on Saturday. Instead of a Triangle Match, it's now a Four Way, and if you get the fall on Gail, the title shot for Melee is yours.

Shadow: That was a little too easy. Why are you doing this?

Katie: Very simple. If you fight Gail right now, the Dangerous Liaison's as good as finished. Have a nice night.

(Katie leaves, and Shadow stares after her, looking like she's not sure if she's happy or not.)

(Eddie Crowe is walking down the hallway when Kevin Stone comes the opposite direction. He shoves Eddie into the wall as he continues on his way.)

Eddie: What's your problem?

(Stone just smirks at him and piefaces him. Eddie goes down to his ass, and Kevin walks away.)

(Commercial Break)

("Destroy" hits and Nykk and Alan Mayse make their way to the ring.)

David: We're back with our main event, which was supposed to be a ten-man tag match. But earlier tonight, Joey Sprinklers was taken out by the UK Wrecking Crew, and then the Eccentrics were taken out by Ronin Fox and Cynric as they were looking for a replacement. But Katie Piehl said that this match will go ahead as planned, even though only Nykk and Alan Mayse are left on their team.

Dick: All I have to say is that Nykk and Mayse are in big trouble.

("At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone, Charlie Haas, Trent Acid, Ronin Fox and Cynric make their way to the ring.)

David: Stone and company have to be happy about this. Now Stone has a chance to take out Mayse before Bloody Valentine. Same thing with Haas and Nykk.

Dick: This will be an easy night for Stone's team, even with Haas and Acid already wrestling once tonight.

(Nykk and Alan attack Stone's team as they get into the ring, but the numbers quickly turn against them. Stone and Acid work over Alan, while Haas, Fox and Cynric beat down Nykk. Suddenly, "Fire" hits and the EDJ run down to the ring. They slide in, and they help beat back Stone's team.)

David: The EDJ have made the save for Nykk and Alan, and we now have an even five on five match!

Dick: But look at Nykk. Will he accept the help of Eddie Crowe?

(Eddie offers Nykk a high five. Nykk puts his hands on his hips and looks around at the fans, Alan, and the Pyro Twins. Finally, he high fives Eddie and yells, "Let's get these assholes!" They charge Stone's team and big brawl breaks out once again as the bell rings.)

(FINISH: Alan gets the hot tag against Stone. He hits him with some forearms and whips him into the ropes. Stone reverses, but Alan slides underneath his legs and gives him a dropkick that staggers him. He goes for another one, but Stone shoves his feet aside and throws him into the corner. Alan ducks out of the way of a charging clothesline and goes to the outside, hitting Stone with a springboard dropkick. He goes for the Tiger Bomb, but Stone backdrops him and Eddie tags himself in. He hits Stone with rights and then goes for a German suplex, but can't get him up. Jay and Dusty come in and each hook an arm, giving him a triple back suplex/German combo. Fox and Cynric come in and attack Jay and Dusty as Nykk and Haas come in to brawl. Eddie clotheslines Acid over the top rope as Alan gives Stone the Tiger Bomb. Eddie goes to the top rope and hits a 450 splash, covering Stone for the pin.)

Winners: Nykk, Alan Mayse, Eddie Crowe and the Pyro Twins

David: Alan Mayse finally put the MECCA Champion down, but it was Eddie Crowe who got the pin! What a way to prove yourself against the main eventers here in MECCA!

Dick: Stone's now going into Bloody Valentine on the defensive, but should he retain, Eddie has a good claim for a title shot.

David: Be sure to join us this Saturday for Bloody Valentine, as Stone defends against Mayse, Nykk and Lisa Letty take on Charlie Haas and Jackie, Eddie Crowe and Joey Sprinklers go for the tag titles and much more!
