(Katie Piehl is standing in the middle of the ring, with a mic.)

Katie: Fans, welcome back to the homefront, the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Dayton, Ohio, for this very special night here in the Midwestern Establishment of Competitive Combat Arts! This is Go Time, yes, but it is also MECCA's first anniversary! One year ago, we set out to showcase the future of professional wrestling, starting with bi-montly pay-per-views and a one hour show on various regional networks. Now, we stand here today with a two-hour Go Time on FSN, which also broadcasts our bi-monthly live events in addition to our pay-per-views. Please join us tonight, as we continue the Toughman Tournament with three first round matches, plus a very special Five Way Match in the main event between all members of the Contender Star. The winner will go on to Snowed In in Chicago Ridge, Illinois, to face the MECCA Champion in the main event! The Contender Star will explode right here tonight, so we'll just call this match a Supernova Spectacle. On behalf of myself, MECCA co-owner Nykk, the board of directors as well as all the talent and crew, we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, as without your support we could never have pulled off 2005. We now look forward to many more years to come entertaining each and every one of you! So without further adieu, it is now... Go Time!

("Neocon" starts to play, but shortly into it, the music gets cut off by a gunshot sound effect. It segues into "Fighter's Passion" and Low Ki makes his way to the ring. He gets another mic and stands in the ring with Katie.)

Katie: Whoa, whoa, Low Ki. Just what are you doing out here? You're not even scheduled to appear tonight.

Low Ki: When I look back on the past year in MECCA, and look at my own accomplishments, I feel a sense of pride... and also a twinge of nausea. You see, I've been kicking, chopping, stomping, crushing and clutching my way through MECCA nearly since the beginning, and what do I have to show for it... one title shot. One title shot in 365 days. I spent five months on the Contender Star and got one title shot. Now I'm not on the Contender Star, and all five of those men will get the opportunity that should be mine at Snowed In. But that's okay... because what I'm demanding tonight, on MECCA's first anniversary, is my title shot. I may not be on the Contender Star, but I've earned it. Look at who I've beaten in 2005... Bryan Danielson... Ronin Fox... Nykk...

Katie: Hold it right there, Low Ki. While I agree that your contributions in the past year have been phenomenal... while I agree that you have definitely earned a title shot... unfortunately... that's exactly what I'm going to book tonight! Not that your attitude has earned you a shot, not that I enjoy your company personally... but because it's the first anniversary of MECCA, and the fans here deserve to witness a title match. So I say it's on! Right here tonight, Low Ki vs. Kevin Stone. Good luck to you.

(Katie leaves the ring.)

Low Ki: Well... all right, then.

(Low Ki looks disappointed that he couldn't continue his tirade as "I've Got the Power" plays. The camera switches to David Mills and Dick Broccoli.)

David: Welcome once again to this very special edition of Go Time, ladies and gentlemen. You heard it straight from the boss lady herself... tonight we've got a MECCA Championship match, as Kevin Stone defends against Low Ki. And in the main event, for the title shot at Snowed In, a Super Nova Spectacle as it's Nykk vs. Delirious vs. Andy Nathans vs. Charlie Haas vs. Eddie Crowe.

Dick: But due to the nature of the Toughman Tournament, Nykk and Delirious will also be meeting each other in one on one competition tonight!

David: All that and so much more when we return. Stay with us!

(Clips are shown of the first MECCA match, Delirious vs. Joey Sprinklers, as well as Nykk/Fox vs. Punk/Steel match as the first main event of the first Go Time.)

(Commercial Break)

(Clips are shown of MECCA's first champions being crowned. First, Lisa Letty pinning LuFisto with a backslide on 1/4/05, the UK Wrecking Crew beating Reckless Abandon with the Wrecking Ball at the MECCA Challenge on 4/30, and then later in the night, C.M. Punk beating Nykk in the MECCA Challenge and then staining the belt with Nykk's own blood.)

(In the arena, "Closer" hits and Trent Acid makes his way to the ring.)

David: And we start the action here on Go Time with a rematch from our very first show exactly one year ago, as Trent Acid will battle Cheesecake in the first round of the Toughman Tournament.

Dick: Last year it was Acid who came out on top. Let's see if Cheesecake can get his win back tonight.

("It's Raining Men" hits and Cheesecake makes his way to the ring.)

David: Cheesecake has had a great first year in MECCA, being both a contender to the MECCA Championship, as well as one half of the tag team champions with his fellow Eccentric Huh.

Dick: He's looking to add more gold to his resume, and this Toughman Tournament is a good but grueling opportunity for all of MECCA's male roster.

(FINISH: Cheesecake goes for the Long Kiss Goodnight, but Acid shoves him into the turnbuckles. He charges, but Cheesecake sits on the top rope and catches Acid with a right hand. He goes for a reverse DDT, but Acid hits him with rights and goes for the Acid Bomb. Cheesecake counters with a headscissors and then plants Acid with the Screw-Driver. He covers, but Acid grabs the bottom rope. Cheesecake pulls him up and goes for a lung blower, but Acid grabs the top rope and then lays back across Cheesecake after he hits the mat, getting the three count.)

Winner: Trent Acid

David: Trent Acid wins and moves on to the quarter-finals, where he will meet the winners of tonight's Nykk/Delirious and Crowe/Haas matches in a Triangle Match.

Dick: That's what's so tough about this tournament. After the first round, you're faced with two opponents instead of one, and your strategy will have to change completely in order to advance.

David: And we'll be seeing Nykk vs. Delirious, two men who will also compete in the main event, when we return.

(Backstage, Nykk and Lisa Letty are standing by the drinking fountain.)

Nykk: One year... where does the time go? It seems like it was just yesterday that you were pinning LuFisto's shoulders to the mat and starting the journey that would build the ladies' division in 2005.

Lisa: But what about you, Nykk? It seems like only yesterday that you and Fox were doing everything in your power to sabotage the other during the main event!

Nykk: Yeah, not one of my better moments...

Lisa: Nah, it was fabulous. I have to admit, even though I've worked with you for almost three years now, I've always been a little intimidated. When you asked me to work for MECCA, though, I was very flattered. I just want to say thanks for the opportunity... and it's been a great pleasure getting to know you better personally these past few weeks as well.

(She winks at him and walks away. Nykk looks away, embarrassed.)

(Clips are shown of the matches in the Round Robin for the MECCA Championship, culminating at the MECCA Challenge on 4/30/05.)

(Commercial Break)

(Clips of the ladies' division are shown, highlighting Lisa Letty's eight total months as Ladies' Champion, and the formation of the Dangerous Liaison.)

(In the arena, "Hybrid Stigmata" hits and Delirious makes his way to the ring.)

David: He's tweakin' out! You know, Delirious was one of the participants in MECCA's first match ever a year ago. He's been a consistent performer the entire year, coming close to winning tag team gold on a couple of occasions.

Dick: He has a chance at singles gold now, but he drew a tough opponent for this first round.

("Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)

David: Both these men will be back in the Super Nova Spectacle in the main event to determine the challenger for Kevin Stone at Snowed In on January 21.

Dick: Nykk looks determined to prove himself after ending 2005 on such a down note. But one thing we've seen... what is up with him and Lisa Letty?

David: I don't know. Nykk's entire life in 2005 has been this organization, and he hasn't had a lot of time for even his close friends, but he seems a lot more sociable recently.

(FINISH: Delirious goes for Chemical Imbalance #2, but Nykk elbows him in the face. He bounces off the ropes, but Delirious dropkicks the knee. He goes to the top rope for Shadows Over Hell, but Nykk moves and applies the Cedarleaf. Delirious goes berserk, twisting and turning and trying to get to his back, and he manages to do so, but Nykk holds on, and turns Delirious back over. After struggling for a minute or so, Delirious taps out.)

Winner: Nykk

David: Nykk advances in the Toughman Tournament to pretty much no one's surprise, and will meet Trent Acid and either Charlie Haas or Jay Crowe in the quarter-finals.

Dick: And he'll be back later on for his shot at the MECCA Championship.

(Backstage, Gail Kim is talking to Shadow when Kelly Schweickart walks up to them.)

Kelly: Gail! I've been looking for you.

Gail: What do you want?

Kelly: I watched you defend that Ladies' Championship at New Year's Knockout, and I'll give you credit, you beat Zoe one, two, three. But you've got a new challenger for Snowed In, and I just wanted to say that now it's my turn. I'm challenging you to put that belt on the line.

Gail: You challenge me? That's a good one, Kelly. For one year, I've beaten your ass every time we've faced off. You and your friends had your shot. Now it's time to give it to one of my own girls.

Shadow: And that means me, because that's what the Dangerous Liaison is all about. Helping each other out.

Gail: But you know, Shadow, she does have a lot of spirit. How about this? Next week, you two face off one on one, and I'll accept the winner's challenge for Snowed In.

Shadow: What?

Kelly: I like what I'm hearing. Shadow, consider next week payback for all the trouble you caused last year. 2006 is my year, and it's all going to start next week.

(Kelly walks away.)

Shadow: What the hell? You told me I could have a title match!

Gail: I want the best possible competition, because it's only that way that I'm going to go down as the best Ladies' Champion in MECCA's short history. Be thankful you even get this opportunity from me.

(She brushes past Shadow and walks off camera.)

(Clips are shown of C.M. Punk introducing Eddie Crowe to MECCA, and the formation of SELF.)

(Commercial Break)

(Clips are shown of the UK Wrecking Crew winning the International Invitational and being presented with the World Cup, the Eccentrics' theft, and the Pyro Twins' re-theft and subsequent blowing up of the cup at Punked Out.)

(In the arena, "Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)

David: We're set for our MECCA Championship match, and it will be the dangerous Low Ki challenging for the belt.

Dick: What a brutal contest he had with Anubis last week, which ended with Low Ki advancing in the Toughman Tournament.

David: Low Ki showed that he has what it takes to be Toughman Champion, but tonight he's going for the biggest prize in MECCA.

("At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)

David: Kevin Stone had a great second half of 2005, culminating with him winning the MECCA Championship on December 7.

Dick: Stone is on top of the world right now, and this will be his second title defense. It's going to be a hard-fought one too.

Jared: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest, scheduled for one fall, will be for the MECCA Heavyweight Championship! To my left, the challenger... from Brooklyn, New York... weighing in at 170 lbs... he is Loooow Kiiii! And his opponent... from Bowling Green, Ohio... weighing in at 265 lbs... he is the MECCA Heavyweight Champion.... the MECCA Monster Keviiin Stoooone!

(FINISH: Stone lifts Low Ki for the Stone Cutter, but Low Ki manages to kick Stone in the face on the way down. Stone gets to his knees, and gets kicked in the chest twice. Low Ki pounds the mat and goes for the kick to the back of the head, but Stone blocks it and catches him by the throat. He lifts him for the Stone Crusher, but Low Ki counters into a victory roll and gets a close two count. Stone clotheslines him down, and looks pissed. He goes to the outside and brings in a chair. Low Ki gives him the Tidal Wave, and Stone drops the chair. Ki picks up the chair and hits Kevin over the head with it, causing the ref to call for the bell.)

Winner: Kevin Stone

David: Low Ki just disqualified himself, and will not get the MECCA Championship.

Dick: Low Ki lost his head there for a minute, but it looks like both these guys just don't care.

(Low Ki tries to hit Stone again, but he gives the chair a big boot, sending it back into Low Ki. He picks him up and gives him the Stone Crusher, and Low Ki rolls out of the ring. Stone goes out after him and they fight to the back.)

David: It's broken down between these two, but up next Cynric will be in action.

(Clips are shown of the Pyro Twins leaving SELF, and the aftermath of Jay Crowe vs. C.M. Punk at Summer Showdown.)

(Commercial Break)

(Clips are shown of Nykk winning the MECCA Championship from C.M. Punk at Liberty or Death.)

(In the office, Katie Piehl is shuffling through some papers when Charlie Haas and Mrs. Jackie enter.)

Katie: Charlie, what can I do for you?

Haas: Listen, Ms. Piehl, I know you've got me in this Supernova Spectacle later on, but I've also got a match for the Toughman Tournament with Jay Crowe.

Katie: And? The Toughman Tournament does not affect any wrestler's normal work schedule...

Haas: I know that, but if you read my contract carefully, you'll note that I have the option of denying any match if I have to wrestle more than once in the evening.

Katie: I was hoping you were a bigger competitor than that.

Haas: I'm not scared to wrestle twice in the same evening, I just really want to be fresh for my shot at the MECCA Championship later.

Katie: Then how about this? We'll move your match with Jay to the Rundown taping after the show's over, and you'll be fresh for the main event later.

Haas: I was kind of hoping that my Toughman Tournament match could be rescheduled for next week...

Katie: I didn't realize you were so afraid of losing. If that's the case, maybe I should just find a replacement...

Haas: No, no, no need for that. That's fine. I'll get my shot at the MECCA Championship and advance in the Toughman Tournament, because I am the toughest this organization has to offer. Excuse me.

(He and Jackie leave the office.)

(In the arena, "Wherever I May Roam" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)

David: It looks like Jay Crowe vs. Charlie Haas has been moved to Rundown, which can be viewed each week on MECCA's website, but what is Ronin Fox doing out here? He's not scheduled for an appearance.

Dick: We were supposed to have his brother out here, but apparently Fox is making his own schedule.

(Fox gets a mic.)

Fox: I'm out here to seek an explanation for the injustice that has been done to me. Not only was I cheated out of a victory at New Year's Knockout, but this is MECCA's first anniversary, and me, the guy who main evented the first Go Time, is not even on the show! I may not be on the Contender Star anymore, but I promise, that's going to change real soon. I've also got a Toughman Tournament match coming up next week against Huh, and talk about winning in a walk, because he can't even do that without stumbling and falling on his ass! Ronin Fox's fortunes are about to change, and...

("Soul Creation" hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring.)

David: Here comes Cynric. Maybe we'll get back on track now.

(Cynric takes the mic away from Fox.)

Cynric: Brother, let me just say that I'm sick and tired of you complaining. If you've got a beef with the way the show was booked, go talk to Katie. Don't bother these fans with it, because newsflash: when you stopped caring about them, they stopped caring about you! I'm going up against Jack Fletcher of the UK Wrecking Crew, and you're going to go to the back and shut up!

(Fox begs off from Cynric and says he's leaving. He does so as "Ironman" hits, but Andy Nathans comes to the ring instead, accompanied by the Grenadiers.)

David: Fox is on his way out of here after being put in his place by his older brother, and what is Nathans doing out here?

(Nathans gets a mic.)

Nathans: Cynric, I'm sorry to tell you, but my partner Jack Fletcher is not here this evening. I know you're upset with us, because you failed once again to take the tag titles from us at New Year's Knockout, but don't worry. Jack may not be here, and I may have a match coming up, but I'll be more than willing to take you on right now!

David: How about that? Andy Nathans will be wrestling twice this evening also.

Dick: I don't know how wise this is. Does he really dislike Cynric that much?

David: This match will start when we return!

(Clips are shown of the Eccentrics winning the tag titles, the UK Wrecking Crew joining SELF, and then turning on Eddie Crowe on 11/2.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, Cynric is squaring off against Andy Nathans.)

David: We're back with this impromptu match, after Jack Fletcher couldn't be here tonight. It's Cynric vs. Andy Nathans right now!

(FINISH: Cynric gives Nathans the Lift Off and covers, but Jack Fletcher suddenly comes out from underneath the ring and pulls Cynric off by his foot. He goes back under the ring while Cynric looks around for who did it. He sees the Grenadiers farther up the aisle and realizes they couldn't have done it. He turns back to Nathans and picks him up, but Nathans gives him a thumb to the eye. Referee Keith Young admonishes Nathans while Fletcher comes back out from under the ring. He springboards to the top rope and goes for a flying bodypress, but Cynric catches him and lifts him into a military slam. He throws him at Nathans, and Young has to duck out of the way. The UK Wrecking Crew goes down, and Cynric gives them both the Lift Off as they get up, side by side. Cynric covers Nathans and gets the three count.)

Winner: Cynric

David: The UK Wrecking Crew decided to play with Cynric tonight, and it cost them. Cynric is your winner!

Dick: Wait, this means that Nathans is off the Contender Star, David!

David: What?

Dick: Cynric just pinned Nathans. That means he's back on the Contender Star! This Supernova Spectacle up next is supposed to include everyone on the Contender Star.

David: You're right! What will Katie Piehl have to say about this? We'll find out when we return!

(Clips are shown of Nykk and Ronin Fox going to a time limit draw back at Scared Stiff.)

(Commercial Break)

(Clips are shown of Kevin Stone winning the MECCA Championship from Nykk on 12/7.)

(In the arena, Katie Piehl is standing in the ring with Cynric.)

David: We're back, and we're about to get a decision on what happened before the break.

Katie: Cynric, I asked you to remain out here because we've got this Supernova Spectacle coming up right now, and Andy Nathans was supposed to be in it. But since you just beat him, that means you took his place on the Contender Star. I know you just wrestled a hard fought match, but should you accept, you can stay in this ring and wrestle for your shot at the title at Snowed In if that's what you want.

(She hands the mic to Cynric.)

Cynric: If that's what I want? Of course that's what I want. I say bring it on, because as far as I'm concerned, I was just getting warmed up.

David: There you have it, Cynric will be the fifth participant in the Supernova Spectacle!

("Hybrid Stigmata" hits and Delirious makes his way to the ring.)

David: Cynric isn't getting any rest at all, as we're going ahead immediately with our main event.

Dick: Do you think Delirious even realizes he's on the Contender Star?

("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring.)

David: The Pyro Twins aren't out here tonight, but you know that they're in the back, cheering on their fellow EDJ member Eddie Crowe.

Dick: EDJ?

David: Yeah... Eddie, Dusty, Jay.

("Liberi Fatali" hits and Charlie Haas makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Mrs. Jackie.)

David: Charlie Haas told Nykk at New Year's Knockout that if Nykk didn't win the title, he would just be one more challenger Haas had to go through, but I don't think he counted on having to go through the other four all at once.

Dick: And due to this match, Haas will now be wrestling his Toughman Tourney match against Jay Crowe on Rundown.

David: What a crime it would be if Haas were to win this after weaseling out of his earlier match, while the participants who did wrestle earlier on, like Nykk, Delirious and Cynric, came up short?

("Destroy" hits and Nykk runs down to the ring, going after Haas and inciting a brawl.)

David: Nykk wants another shot at Stone as much as anybody, and we're off and running!

(FINISH: The first elimination occurs when Delirious is crotched while going for Shadows Over Hell. Cynric gives him the Shockwave Pulsar and covers for the three count. Later on, Haas lays out Cynric with the Haastruction, but Nykk pulls him out of the ring. He and Eddie pound away on Haas and each other as referee David Bowers starts the count. They throw Haas back in, but as they're about to get in, Jackie ducks down on the outside and grabs their ankles. They're both counted out as they're trying to free themselves. Nykk wants at Jackie, but Bowers keeps him away and tells him to go to the back. The distraction allows Haas to hit a low blow on Cynric and roll him up, but Nykk keeps the ref busy long enough that Cynric is able to kick out. Cynric makes a comeback, but Jackie gets on the apron. Bowers tells her to get down while Haas undoes a turnbuckle pad. He puts Cynric on his shoulders and prepares to drop him onto the exposed turnbuckle, but Nykk runs back out with a chair. He hits Haas in the back, and Cynric rolls through with a victory roll and gets the three count.)

Winner: Cynric

David: Cynric wins it, after having been out here in the ring for about forty-five minutes now!

Dick: Yeah, thanks to an assist from Nykk. What was that!?

David: That was a victory for Cynric, and he'll be facing his former partner Kevin Stone at Snowed In. He wasn't even on the Contender Star an hour ago, and now he's got a title shot. This marks the end of our first year anniversary celebration, fans. Please join us again next week as Year Two begins!

(Haas stumbles up the aisle, yelling at Nykk while Cynric celebrates in the ring.)
