Quick Rundown Results:
Shadow/Misery/LuFisto b. Letty/Schweickart/Alexander
Dusty Schneble b. Huh
Cynric b. Jay Crowe
("Neocon" opening.)
David: MECCA is coming to you with another edition of Go Time, and we are making our debut right here in Minneapolis, Minnesota, inside the Si Melby Hall on the campus of Augsburg College! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight in the main event, Alan Mayse will take on Ronin Fox one on one.
Dick: And in the ladies' division, Gail Kim will battle Heather Star.
David: Plus, we'll hear from the tag team champs, the UK Wrecking Crew.
("Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)
David: We were all shocked last week when it was revealed that Ronin Fox has been the one behind the attacks on Nykk for the past couple of months. After the events that took place at Scared Stiff, we thought that Fox had finally forgiven Nykk, but apparently the rage is still there inside Ronin Fox.
Dick: Nykk said that he suspected it was Fox, but it wasn't confirmed until two weeks ago.
(Nykk gets a mic.)
Nykk: For knowing wrestling as long as I have, I guess I should have guessed it would come to this. For too many years, I've seen betrayals and attacks and ambushes. Fox, I should have expected that you still had bad blood towards me, but your attacks were shocking nonetheless. Whatever I felt about you personally or professionally, I always thought of you as an honorable man. And though I did things to you that were anything but honorable, you came back and took it to me and gave me the greatest challenge I've ever had. After our feud was over a year and a half ago, my anger toward you dissipated and instead was replaced with a grudging respect. I thought that it was the same with you, but apparently you like keeping your real feelings bottled up. At least with me, whether I was ambushing you or dropping you on your head, you knew what to expect from me because I laid it all out on the table for the world to see. But since you've now revealed your true colors, Dr. Nykk suggests that you do what you have to do to get that monkey off your back. Because a monkey on your back is an obnoxious hindrance to have, what with the biting and the shrieking and the smell. That's why our rematch for the MECCA Championship is now official... signed, sealed and delivered for November 26 at No Regrets, right here live on FSN. And I ask all you MECCA fans not to expect from this match what you saw in our match at Scared Stiff. Because the landscape has changed now, and with the two of us tearing into each other I doubt that in an ordinary match we would be able to go sixty minutes again. But since that's what the fans are expecting, I say we give it to them. I propose a new twist on your traditional Ironman for this special rematch. I like to call it an Ironman Pendulum Match. In this contest, which will last sixty minutes, falls can be obtained in any manner. Here's where it gets interesting... each fall will gain the winner one point. However, the loser of the fall also loses a point. And if a count-out or DQ occurs, a point is lost for the loser while the victor's score remains unchanged. That means in order to win, the man with the disadvantage will have to battle back and beat his opponent enough times to swing the pendulum the other way. The man with the high score at the end of the hour is the winner, and the MECCA Champion. I eagerly await your answer, Fox. When you and I meet in the...
("At the End of the Rainbow" interrupts Nykk and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)
David: What is Kevin Stone doing out here? Nykk is in the midst of explaining this unique concept of an Ironman Pendulum, and Stone just waltzes out here for no reason.
Dick: "The MECCA Monster" Kevin Stone is definitely interested in the title picture, still not having received a one on one match for the title.
(Stone gets a mic.)
Stone: Nykk, this has gone too far. You create all these new matches, and just expect this whole locker room to follow along with it? It doesn't matter what you put in front of me, whether it's Four Corner Chaos or a Stiff Strike Challenge, I've always risen to the occasion. And look at where I am, beating the crap out of those idiots in the Eccentric Alliance every week while Ronin Fox gets not one, but two title opportunities. I've been on the Contender Star since July. Coincidentally enough, since the same night you won that title. I know what the problem is. I know why I haven't gotten a one on one title match. You're scared of me, Nykk. Admit it, that's the only reason you recruited me for your group in RCW. I was green then, but you saw the potential. But it won't work this time. You don't need to be worried about Ronin Fox, because you should be worried about me. I will get my title shot, however I have to do it. If you think Fox will stoop to any level to get a title match, you haven't seen anything yet.
Nykk: I may be a wrestler, Kevin, but I'm also fifty-fifty owner of this company. Yes, I do have influence, but in case you haven't heard, my booking power was taken away from me. If you want a title match, you talk to Katie Piehl, because I can't help you right now and since I've got Fox to prepare for, open challenges are being put on hold for the time being. You want to come out and interrupt my interview time, and ruin my hype for this company's next event? I hope you're ready for a fight, because you can either leave right now, or I'm going to kick your ass and make you leave!
(Nykk throws down his mic, and he and Kevin start arguing. Stone suddenly hits Nykk with a forearm and a brawl erupts. Stone gets the better of Nykk with a knee to the midsection and whips him into the ropes. Nykk meets him with a running leg lariat that staggers him, and Nykk bounces off the ropes, only to be hit with the Stone Cutter.)
David: The MECCA Champion has just been stopped by the MECCA Monster.
Dick: Stone's not playing around. He wants to be MECCA Champion, and we've seen him do anything to get what he wants in the past few months.
(Stone gets a chair from ringside and prepares to bash Nykk in the head with it. However, as he raises the chair, Cheesecake runs down and grabs it from him. Stone bails out of the ring as Cheesecake swings at him. Stone threatens Cheesecake as he makes his way up the aisle.)
David: Thanks to Cheesecake, Nykk will actually live to see his title defense against Ronin Fox at No Regrets. We have to take a quick break, but when we come back, the ladies of MECCA will be in action!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Brackish" hits and Gail Kim makes her way to the ring.)
David: We're back on Go Time, and the "Sensation of Submission" Gail Kim is ready to make her FSN Go Time debut.
Dick: She's been making noise recently about becoming the Ladies' Champion and even challenged Lisa Letty last week for No Regrets.
("Dance Commander" hits and Heather Star makes her way to the ring.)
David: What an opportunity for the newcomer, Heather Star, the one who claims to be nothing short of heavenly. A couple of weeks ago, she debuted with a victory over LuFisto, and that's not an easy thing to do.
Dick: Just ask our Ladies' Champ how tough LuFisto is. Star claims to be on the side of the likes of Lisa and Kelly Schweickart, so if she could upset Kim here after she's made a big fuss over challenging Lisa, it would humiliate the Dangerous Liaison.
(FINISH: Kim goes for the Christo, but Star drops her back onto her feet and nails her with a hard clothesline. She goes up for the Falling Star Press, but Kim gets up and hits her with a right, climbing to the top rope behind her. Star fights back and hits Greetings from Heaven, but Kim rolls to the ropes. Heather pulls her off, but gets shoved back into the corner. She charges out at Kim, but Gail rolls her through into a Boston Crab, and then segues into an upside down Indian Deathlock. Star fights, but eventually has to tap out.)
Winner: Gail Kim
David: The more experienced Gail Kim is victorious, and shows why she is the Sensation of Submission.
Dick: Heather Star's got a long way to go, but I think this was definitely a learning experience for her.
(Gail gets a mic.)
Kim: Lisa Letty! As you can see, I've been busy racking up wins these past couple of months. Now there's nothing left to do but to take you out, and bring that Ladies' Championship back to the Dangerous Liaison. Come out here and accept my challenge for November 26 before I really get angry.
(Lisa Letty walks through the curtain and makes her way to the ring, with a mic in hand.)
Lisa: Gail, you want the Ladies' Championship? Let me remind you who I am. I'm Lisa Letty, the First Lady of MECCA. I defend my title against anyone who deserves a shot, and though I don't agree with your tactics, you have gotten some impressive wins over Heather and Zoe, and you managed to grab the pin over me in a tag match last month. So yes, you have your title shot for No Regrets. (gets in the ring) But make no mistake, you're going to have to cripple me to take this title. Because as long as I have breath in my body, no one will ever...
(LuFisto suddenly slides into the ring and charges Lisa, but Heather is there and intercepts LuFisto, taking her down and hitting her with rights. Shadow and Misery hit the ring, but so do Zoe Alexander and Kelly Schweickart. The women brawl with each other, but the Dangerous Liaison eventually bails out of the ring as "Edge of Seventeen" plays.)
David: We have our Ladies' Title match set for No Regrets. Lisa Letty will defend against Gail Kim, and it should be a barnburner.
Dick: Now that Lisa Letty has enough friends to even the odds against the Dangerous Liaison, Kim better come up with something else if she plans on taking the title back into her fold.
David: We've got more action to come when we come back. Stay with us.
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Kevin Stone is walking down a hallway when he's intercepted by Katie Piehl.)
Stone: Piehl!
Katie: What do you want, Kevin?
Stone: You know damn well what I want. Why haven't I gotten my title shot at Nykk yet?
Katie: You had a title shot...
Stone: With two other guys! I rack up win after win while staying on the Contender Star for months, and Ronin Fox just waltzes in as soon as he gets on the Contender Star and gets two title shots?
Katie: That was the champion's call. But I'll tell you what, if you want to prove that you deserve a shot, why don't you face off against Cheesecake at No Regrets? If you can beat him, I'll consider your plea.
Stone: You know what? I like that. I'll get my title shot and kill this thing with the Eccentric Alliance once and for all.
Katie: Great, but for tonight you're going to see tag action against Nykk and Cheesecake. Good luck.
Stone: Wait, what? Who's my partner?
Katie: Your call there... oh, and do hurry up with your decision. Your match will be immediately after the next commercial break. See ya.
(She walks away, as Kevin looks livid.)
(In the arena, "La Macarena" hits and Huh and Concession Boy make their way to the ring, along with Dreamo, Delirious and Medea Knight.)
David: How about that, we have a tag match tonight, or possibly a handicap match unless Stone can find a partner.
Dick: It's no secret that Katie and Kevin don't like each other, but is denying him his rightful title shot really beneficial to MECCA's image?
David: He'll probably get one if he can beat Cheesecake at No Regrets. For now, other members of the Eccentric Alliance are out here. Huh and Concession Boy will represent them, but they're flanked by Dreamo, Delirious and Medea Knight.
("The Goon's Theme Remix" hits and the Ballard Brothers make their way to the ring.)
David: The Ballards tried attacking the Eccentric Alliance a couple of weeks ago, which brought about the return of the original Concession Boy. Dick: I'm sure that's what they want to be remembered for, too.
(FINISH: Huh gives Shannon an avalanche in the corner, and then gives him some butt bumps as well. While he's doing this, Shane ties Huh's shoelaces together. He gets on the apron as Concession Boy launches himself off the top rope at him. Shane catches him and tosses him onto Delirious and Dreamo on the outside. He gets in the ring and challenges Huh. Huh gives a mighty roar and charges. His shoes trip him up, and the Ballards give him the Penalty Box. Shannon covers and gets the pin.)
Winners: The Ballard Brothers
David: The Ballards get the win after outsmarting Huh.
Dick: Like that's hard to do.
David: The Eccentric Alliance seems to be having trouble putting the Ballards away recently. Could we be seeing an upswing in the fortunes of Shane and Shannon? Up next, the tag match that was just made. Nykk and Cheesecake take on Kevin Stone and... somebody! We'll be right back!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "It's Raining Men" hits and Cheesecake and Nykk make their way to the ring.)
David: We're back with tag team action, and it doesn't look like Nykk's really that thrilled about coming out to that song.
Dick: Nykk's probably wondering why they can't play his music, since he's the champ, but I think he's too focused on Kevin Stone right now to care what his entrance is like.
("At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone and Trent Acid make their way to the ring.)
David: I guess Stone found a partner. Trent Acid would certainly like to get another shot at the MECCA Championship after getting an opportunity two weeks ago.
Dick: He has to watch out for the Pyro Twins, though. They're still after him.
(FINISH: Nykk tries to get on the apron, but gets sent off with a big boot from Stone. Meanwhile, Acid hits Cheesecake with a Yakuza Kick. At that moment, the Pyro Twins charge down to the ring, and Acid bolts. Jay and Dusty chase him out through the crowd, and Stone looks after them, yelling for Acid to come back. He turns back to Cheesecake, but gets rolled up with an inside cradle for the three count.)
Winners: Nykk and Cheesecake
David: I don't believe it! That's the first time Stone's been pinned since July!
(Cheesecake celebrates, but Stone makes a lunge for him. Cheesecake quickly slides out of the ring and jumps into Nykk's arms, and he quickly drops Cheesecake to the floor.)
Dick: Stone was just embarrassed here on Go Time, but he'll get his chance for revenge on November 26. On that day, I would not want to be Cheesecake. As a matter of fact, I don't think I'd want to be Cheesecake on any day.
(Backstage, Trent Acid runs out the door, with the Pyro Twins in pursuit. However, they're stopped by Alan Mayse and Cynric.)
Cynric: I think that's far enough.
Jay: What the hell are you doing? That little rat is getting away!
Alan: You don't need to concern yourselves with Acid. What you need to be concerned about is our match at No Regrets.
Dusty: Don't worry. After we take care of Acid, we'll take care of you two. You see, the UK Wrecking Crew's new restraining order expires after November 26. That means after we beat you two, we're taking those tag titles that should have been ours long ago.
Cynric: You think so? Well, we'll just have to find out about that. But next week, we've been told that the four of us will be teaming together in eight-man tag action. You think we can put our competitive spirit on the side for just one night?
Jay: One night? Sure. But make no mistake. At No Regrets, we're burning straight through you.
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Ronin Fox, who's smiling.)
Bill: Ronin Fox, I cannot believe that you are smiling after the despicable act we witnessed last week. If you still held something against Nykk, you could have taken the high road. What do you have to say about your recent actions?
Fox: Bill, this is wrestling. Betrayal happens. Nykk knows that better than anybody. Hey, at least I never pretended to be his friend. But that doesn't matter. Right now, I'm focused on taking the MECCA Championship from him at No Regrets. Nykk, you want some kind of Ironman Pendulum stipulation? That's fine with me. I went sixty with you at Scared Stiff, and would have won if the match had lasted one more second. Now, this just means I get lots of opportunities to beat you and prove that I'm the better wrestler.
(Cynric and Alan Mayse walk up to Fox.)
Cynric: So this is how it's going to be, after all your preaching over the years about doing things the right way in this sport? You're going to throw all that away for a title? Let me tell you something, brother. Even though I'm older to you, I've always looked up to your drive and determination in the ring, and most importantly, your will to do it the right way and not play politics or take shortcuts.
Alan: Fox, you're good enough not to have to do this. Those fans loved you. Why do this?
Fox: We all have to embrace our dark side sometime. You two hide behind some facade of sportsmanship, using it as a mask to hide your real feelings. Cynric, this guy's only going to let you down in your hunt for tag gold. I know that firsthand. But you and me together, we can be champions. Who better to be by my side as I explore the darker regions of human nature?
(Cynric shakes his head in disbelief and walks away.)
Bill: I don't think Cynric shares your views.
Fox: He'll come around. As for you, Alan, tonight you and I face off once again. In case you don't remember, it was I who knocked you off the Contender Star in the first place. Tonight, I just reaffirm my spot as the champion-in-waiting.
Alan: I guess we'll just have to meet out there to decide that, won't we?
(Alan walks away.)
(In the arena, "Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers skateboards his way to the ring.)
David: Ronin Fox has accepted the stipulation, and it will be an Ironman Pendulum Match for the MECCA Championship on November 26 at No Regrets. Right now, Joey Sprinklers is set for one on one action.
Dick: Low Ki is still out to get Joey Sprinklers, and we know he's here somewhere this week. This might not be the best time for Joey to be having a match.
("Hybrid Stigmata" hits and Delirious makes his way to the ring.)
David: He's tweakin' out!
Dick: This was the match that opened up MECCA back on January 4, which also started Joey's infamous losing streak. Joey could be looking to redeem that embarrassment right here tonight.
(FINISH: Joey goes for Da Sprinklanator, but Delirious slips out and goes for the Chemical Imbalance #2. Joey lands on his feet and bounces off the ropes, only to be met with a flying clothesline. Delirious gives him the Invitro Fertilization and covers for the three count.)
Winner: Delirious
David: Delirious scores the pinfall, and Joey doesn't look to happy about it.
(As Delirious exits the ring and Joey lays on his back, Low Ki comes down and slides into the ring. He gets on top of Joey to keep him from moving and calls for a mic.)
Dick: Low Ki's out here! Joey Sprinklers is going to die!
Low Ki: Sprinkles, you've got nowhere to run now. So unless you want your career ended right here, right now, you'd better accept the challenge I'm about to make. On September 27, you embarrassed me. On November 26, I reclaim my dignity. You and me, No Regrets, one on one.
(He pulls Joey up by the hair, but Joey wrenches himself away and dives through the ropes. He tells Low Ki that he's on.)
David: Joey Sprinklers just accepted the challenge of Low Ki, and we have another blockbuster match set for No Regrets!
(Low Ki throws down the mic and goes after Joey, but Joey kicks him in the face as he comes through the ropes. He takes it to Low Ki with right hands and then rams him into the post before making a run for it.)
Dick: Joey just took it to Low Ki!
David: Joey Sprinklers showing some heart and some guts, but that's only going to antagonize Low Ki further. Up next is the main event. Ronin Fox will take on Alan Mayse!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with the UK Wrecking Crew.)
Bill: Jack Fletcher, Andy Nathans, in the past few weeks you have not only regained the MECCA Tag Team Titles, but you disintegrated your alliance with Eddie Crowe, and left Trent Acid out in the cold to face the Pyro Twins. But there's no rest for the weary, as at No Regrets you will be defending your belts against KDX. And should you get by them, the winners of the Alan Mayse and Cynric vs. Pyro Twins match will receive a shot at the tag titles.
Nathans: That was a sweet moment when we attacked little brother Eddie and gave him Final Darkness. Pyro Twins, in case you didn't realize it, that was our message to you. We should have proven by now that we will go through any lengths to keep these titles. Everyone thinks we're so scared of the Pyro Twins. No, you see we've already beaten you so there's nothing to be scared of. Underneath our gruff exteriors, we're just two nice guys. The restraining orders we've had against you, Pyro Twins, was not for our protection. It was for yours.
Fletcher: Trust me, Jay and Dusty, you don't want to be across the ring from us when we're on top of our game. But to get through us, you have to get through the new sensation in the tag ranks. Alan Mayse and Cynric. Mayse, you've failed with three different partners to take these belts from us. Why should this time be any different? And make no mistake, it is your last chance for as long as we hold these titles, because after this, we're through with you. But KDX, don't think we're looking past you.
Nathans: You two are merely riding a wave of momentum after ditching your manager and beating his new team at Scared Stiff. But the problem with waves is that they always come crashing down. At No Regrets, just like everyone before you, you come crashing down.
Fletcher: Because whether it's KDX, Mayse and Cynric or the Pyro Twins, this crew is set to wreck someone's career.
(In the arena, "Wherever I May Roam" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)
David: How about that, a tag title match at No Regrets is set. The board of directors and Katie Piehl have accepted Kaientai's petition for a tag title match, and they attempt to dethrone the UK Wrecking Crew. But right now, it's main event time.
Dick: Ronin Fox will also challenge for a title at No Regrets, and as we found out, it will be in this new idea Nykk has had, an Ironman Pendulum Match.
David: I can't wait to see that match happen live on FSN.
("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)
David: Now keep in mind, due to the way the Contender Star works, if Alan Mayse were to win here, Fox would still get his title shot, as it has been announced and signed, but he will be off the Contender Star.
Dick: And this is a chance for the man who was taken out of the Contender Star by Fox to take that position back.
David: And we saw earlier that Mayse does not appreciate Fox's new attitude.
(FINISH: Fox leaps to the top rope for the Fox Fire, but Alan pushes him onto the turnbuckles. Alan rams Fox's head into the post and then goes up, somersaulting over Fox to take him over with a powerbomb for a two count. Alan picks Fox up, but gets his eyes raked. Fox bounces off the ropes, but Alan catches him and hits an exploder suplex. He quickly hits the Tiger Bomb, but Fox rolls to the ropes. Alan tries to pull him off, while referee Keith Young pulls Alan off of Fox. With the ref between Alan and Fox, Fox gets his arm underneath the ref's legs and hits an undetected low blow on Alan, pulling his arm out before Young can see it. Fox hits Alan with the Tail End and covers for the three count.)
Winner: Ronin Fox
David: It just makes me sick to think that once an honorable competitor such as Ronin Fox would resort to rakes to the eyes and low blows. He's truly turned his back on the fans.
Dick: According to Fox, it was the fans who turned their backs on him by cheering Nykk.
David: Well, on November 26 I have to think the fans will now be solidly behind Nykk in his Ironman Pendulum Match with Fox. That's all the time we have this week, fans. Be sure to tune in next week for another edition of Go Time.
