("Neocon" opening.)
David: Hello again, fans, and welcome to MECCA Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and what a show tonight from the Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago Ridge, Illinois.
Dick: We have the Eccentrics' first tag title defense as they defend against longtime rivals the Pyro Twins, and get this... the opponents in the main event at Scared Stiff, Nykk and Ronin Fox, will team up to battle the UK Wrecking Crew!
David: Plus, we have big news for all MECCA fans. Due to the success of the airing of At Your Own Risk on FSN, Go Time will be moving to that very network, starting on Wednesday, November 2!
Dick: For the Scared Stiff fallout, be sure to tune into FSN for all your MECCA needs!
("Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)
David: And we're ready for our tag title match right now. The Pyro Twins have been waiting for this opportunity since July, when they were told they would get a shot at the UK Wrecking Crew. However, that was before this whole restraining order thing.
Dick: It seemed very creative at the time, but if the Pyro Twins were to win the titles tonight, the UKWC would not be able to get their return match!
("Pajamarama" hits and the Eccentrics make their way to the ring.)
David: The Eccentrics and the Pyro Twins have been battling off and on for over two years now, but this will be their first meeting in MECCA in a regular tag match.
Dick: And it's for the big prize of MECCA's tag team division.
(FINISH: During a big brawl, Jay hits Cheesecake with a belly to belly suplex and he gives Huh a backbreaker, telling Dusty to go up for the Mandate of Heaven. Dusty goes to the top rope as Jay holds Huh across his knee, but Cheesecake dropkicks Jay and then runs up the turnbuckles, giving Dusty a hand-and-arm suplex from the top. Huh gets up and goes up for the moonsault as Cheesecake charges Jay and gets backdropped to the floor. Huh does the moonsault, but Dusty gets his knees up. Huh stands up, but gets hit with Final Darkness. Dusty makes the cover, but Andy Nathans appears out of nowhere and pulls Dusty off by the leg at two. Referee David Bowers tries to figure out why Nathans is out here, and Jack Fletcher comes in from the other side with a chair. He clocks Jay with it, but Dusty kicks him, bending him over. He bounces off the ropes and gives a kneelift to the chair, bouncing it into Fletcher's face. However, this allows Cheesecake to dropkick Dusty, who backs up and trips over a crouching Huh, who rolls him up for the three count.)
Winners: The Eccentrics
David: The Eccentrics just won this match, but what the hell are Nathans and Fletcher doing here? What about that restraining order?
(The Eccentrics leave with the belts as Dusty tackles Fletcher. Nathans grabs the chair and clocks Dusty over the head with it as Eddie Crowe and Trent Acid come down to the ring.)
Dick: Now all of SELF are out here. What do they have in mind?
(Eddie grabs a mic as Nathans puts the boots to Jay, who's woken up.)
Eddie: Well, well, what do we have here? Could it really be the UK Wrecking Crew beating the crap out of the Pyro Twins despite a judicial restraining order? Well, if you had checked the paperwork, Jay and Dusty, you would have known that the order expired last week! What this means, Pyro Twins, is no tag titles for you. Because I'll lock up with you, Jay, at Scared Stiff, and also on that card the UKWC will get their return match as they take on the Eccentrics for the tag titles. But you know what? We take exception to you two calling yourselves the most ruthless team in the industry. I mean, what do you think Nathans and Fletcher are? They're undefeated, still are, I don't care what the record books say. They've just laid out the mighty Pyro Twins...
(The UKWC hit the Wrecking Ball on Dusty.)
Eddie: We're going to show you just how dominating SELF can be. Trent, if you please.
(Acid gets a table and slides it into the ring, setting it up in the middle. Eddie takes a container out of his pocket.)
Eddie: I got some of this stuff you're very fond of, Jay. This... blue, gooey gel. We're going to find out just how much you like fire.
(He hits Jay in the head with the mic, and Acid takes the blue, gooey gel and rubs it all over the back of Jay's shirt. Meanwhile, the UKWC sprays the table in lighting fluid. Nathans then takes a book of matches from his pocket and strikes one, lighting the table on fire. The UKWC pick Dusty up and powerbomb him through the flaming table. Dusty writhes in agony, and a host of officials come down as Bowers starts pouring water on Dusty's back. Acid keeps the officials at bay with the chair.)
David: The UKWC has just powerbombed Dusty Schneble through a flaming table! You can't do that to a Pyro Twin!
Dick: They're not done yet.
(Fletcher strikes another match and throws it onto the back of Jay's shirt, which goes up in flames. Jay rolls around, trying to put out the fire, and after a few moments some officials manage to get through and throw a blanket over him. SELF laughs as EMTs rush down to tend to Jay and Dusty.)
David: Nobody has ever done this to the Pyro Twins before!
Dick: Well, with all their playing with fire, you can't say they didn't have this coming. They had to get burned sooner or later.
David: They could have severe burns. Who knows if their matches for Scared Stiff will even take place now? Fans, we'll be right back. Let's get Jay and Dusty some medical attention.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "The Goon's Theme Remix" hits and Shane Ballard makes his way to the ring.)
David: We're back, and I can't believe what happened before the break. The UKWC, with the help of SELF, have burned the Pyro Twins.
Dick: It was ominous last week when the new SELF was announced, and that just established them as the most dangerous combination in MECCA.
("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)
Dick: David, Low Ki looks mad.
David: It might be wise for Shannon Ballard to just let Low Ki win this one by forfeit, because Low Ki is not seeing anything except Joey Sprinklers's face.
Dick: He's been after Joey ever since he beat him three weeks ago, but Joey's managed to evade him so far.
(FINISH: Shane doesn't last long, as Low Ki absolutely destroys him. Finally, Low Ki ends it with a Ki Krusher into a Dragon Clutch, and Shannon taps.)
Winner: Low Ki
David: Low Ki just destroyed Shane Ballard... wait a minute!
(Shannon Ballard runs down, but Low Ki sees him coming and grabs him as he slides through the ropes, hitting him with Kawada Kicks. He whips Shannon into a corner and hits a rolling koppo kick. He then goes outside and pulls a skateboard from underneath the ring.)
David: The Ballard Brothers have been decimated, and what's Low Ki doing with a skateboard? That's Joey's thing.
(Shannon staggers to his feet, semi-conscious, and Low Ki slaps him, telling him to hold the skateboard up. Shannon fearfully does so, and Low Ki backs up, spinning and kicking right through the skateboard and into Shannon's chest. Shannon goes flying along with pieces of the skateboard, and "Fighter's Passion" plays.)
Dick: Low Ki is going to kill Joey when he finally gets his hands on him.
David: For Joey's sake, I hope he's still hiding somewhere. He was looking for a win for the longest time, but why did he have to seize on the opportunity to beat Low Ki like that?
(Backstage, Nykk walks into Ronin Fox and Cynric's locker room.)
Nykk: Hey, guys.
Fox: Hey.
Nykk: Listen, I saw it and I'm sure you just saw it. If SELF can manhandle the Pyro Twins like that, we've got a new threat to contend with here in MECCA.
Cynric: Yeah, I know. Do I ever know.
Nykk: I saw what happened last week to you, Cynric. That's why I say we squash this thing before it gets out of hand. I say we go to Katie Piehl and request an eight-man tag next week. I'm sure the three of us can find a partner.
Fox: Right. Let's do this. And speaking of which, you and I have the UK Wrecking Crew tonight. Up until a couple of weeks ago they were undefeated, so you and I need to come up with some kind of strategy.
Nykk: I'm with you. Tonight, we show the UK Wrecking Crew what defeat looks like. And next week, we'll show SELF that they don't run things around here. Not on our watch.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)
David: Alan Mayse has entered the arena, and he's about to take on another member of SELF in action tonight, Trent Acid.
Dick: Of course we saw Acid earlier when... look out!
(Acid runs out through the curtain behind Alan and hits him from behind. He rams Alan into the guardrail and puts the boots to him.)
David: Acid's decided not to wait for his own entrance as he's attacking Alan right out the gate here in Chicago Ridge!
(Acid throws Alan into the ring and referee Matt Hitchcock calls for the bell.)
(FINISH: Acid goes for the Yakuza Kick, but Alan catches his foot. He spins him around and kicks him in the midsection, then goes for the Tiger Bomb. Acid counters into a sunset flip, but Alan rolls through and dropkicks Acid in the face. He applies the Maysochist, and Acid taps out.)
Winner: Alan Mayse
David: Alan gets the victory, and maybe now Acid will think twice before he attacks anyone else from behind.
(Alan gets a mic.)
Alan: I was going to just lay low and stay out of this, Acid, but you've convinced me... Fox, Nykk, Cynric... I hear you three are looking for a partner next week to face SELF. Well, after tonight, I would be more than happy to be your partner. Next week, SELF goes on the shelf!
("Seven Nation Army" plays and Alan leaves the ring.)
David: Alan Mayse just volunteered to team with Nykk, Ronin Fox and Cynric next week against SELF.
Dick: What a war that's going to be, just a few days before Scared Stiff.
David: Fans, don't forget that starting on November 2, Go Time will be moving to FSN, and we're all very excited about that.
Dick: First our bi-monthly events, and now MECCA can be found every week on FSN!
David: And what will become of our Tuesday show, you ask? Well, it's getting a new name. It will be called Rundown and will be available exclusively on MECCA's website, and will have original matches as well as highlights from the past week's Go Time.
("Edge of Seventeen" hits and Lisa Letty makes her way to the ring.)
David: Here comes our Ladies' Champion, who on October 29 will face Shadow to determine once and for all who deserves to hold that title.
Dick: Lisa's in for the fight of her life, because Shadow has stated she will do whatever it takes to regain that belt.
(Lisa gets a mic.)
Lisa: So I heard that Go Time is about to make its big move to FSN! Let me tell you, as someone who's been here since the very first show, I couldn't be happier for myself and everyone else in that locker room. And I promise that on November 2, I will walk into this new era of MECCA as the Ladies' Champion. Shadow, at Scared Stiff we settle this once and for all. You beat me back at Midsummer Night Slam... you did betray me and catch me offguard, but you did beat me... and then I returned the favor at Summer Showdown, when I made you tap out. In just eleven days, I will...
(The Dangerous Liaison suddenly comes in through the crowd and slides in through the ring with Shadow in the lead. They attack Lisa from behind and continue the assault.)
David: The Dangerous Liaison has arrived in full, and they're putting the boots to Lisa Letty! Someone has to stop this!
(Kelly Schweickart runs out and attacks Misery, but she gets blindsided by LuFisto. Zoe Alexander runs out, but immediately gets attacked by Shadow and Kim.)
Dick: There's just too many of them, David. The other ladies are outnumbered.
(Another lady with long, blond hair runs out and jumps into the ring. She backdrops Misery over the top rope and then throws Gail through the ropes right on top of her.)
David: Who's this?
Dick: I don't know, but she's dressed to wrestle. What's going on here?
(Zoe and Kelly start to fight back, and Zoe clotheslines Shadow, who rolls out of the ring. LuFisto rolls out as well, but gets a baseball slide from Kelly, sending her into the rest of the Dangerous Liaison. The unnamed woman then goes to the top rope and does a shooting star press to the outside onto all of them.)
David: I don't know who this lady is, but she can fly!
Dick: She's just helped Zoe and Kelly beat back the entire Dangerous Liaison!
(The woman gets back in the ring and helps a confused Lisa to her feet as "Edge of Seventeen" plays.)
David: Are the odds finally even against the Dangerous Liaison? Or is this another setup? One thing's for sure, it's going to be a catfight like we've never seen before at Scared Stiff! We've got our main event up next, as Ronin Fox and Nykk take on the UK Wrecking Crew. Stay with us!
(Commercial Break)
(In her office, Katie Piehl is on the phone.)
Katie: Yes, I'm aware that SELF could cause problems for the FSN debut. (pause) No, I'm not going to suspend them. Chaos is good for a wrestling show. (pause) Why don't you tell them that? (pause) Don't worry, everything will be fine. Goodbye.
(She hangs up the phone as Joey Sprinklers barges in.)
Joey: Katie, you've got to help me!
Katie: Calm down, Joey. What's the matter?
Joey: It's Low Ki. He's after me again!
Katie: You know, you're going to have to face him sooner or later. But I'll tell you what I'll do. I'll keep him away from you if you volunteer to be a part of the Stiff Strike Challenge at Scared Stiff.
(Low Ki enters the office, and Joey screams like a little girl, hiding behind Katie.)
Joey: Anything, just keep him away!
Katie: Hold on, Low Ki. Joey's under my protection now. In no way are you to touch him outside of a wrestling ring.
Low Ki: That little pissant took something from me and I want it back. Sooner rather than later, you and I will face each other, Sprinkles. And I will show you then what the meaning of pain really is.
Joey: Keep him away, Katie. I'll sign up for the Stiff Strike Challenge.
(Katie grabs a piece of paper from her desk, and Joey quickly signs it.)
Katie: You'd better get out of here, Joey. I'd like a little word with Low Ki.
(Joey edges his way to the door, and Low Ki stares a hole through him the entire way. When he's left, Katie holds out the Stiff Strike Challenge contract.)
Katie: I know I said you can't touch Joey... except in a wrestling ring. I think you know what I want from you.
(Low Ki smirks and takes the contract, signing it.)
Katie: And we have four. At Scared Stiff, Kevin Stone, Dusty Schneble, Joey Sprinklers and Low Ki will take up the Stiff Strike Challenge. May the best man win, Low Ki.
Low Ki: Thank you, Ms. Piehl. I promise that with me in this thing, I'm going to show Joey stiff like he's never seen it before.
(Low Ki leaves.)
(In the arena, "Ironman" hits and the UK Wrecking Crew make their way to the ring.)
David: How about that, we now have four participants for the Stiff Strike Challenge. It will be Low Ki vs. Joey Sprinklers vs. Kevin Stone vs. Dusty Schneble. That should be one hell of a brawl. Right now, it's main event time and the UK Wrecking Crew are making their way to the ring.
Dick: This will be their first time tagging since losing the MECCA Tag Team Championship and their undefeated streak. But what a combination they've chosen to go against.
("Destroy" hits and Nykk and Ronin Fox make their way to the ring.)
David: Longtime rivals Nykk and Fox will meet once again in Dayton for the MECCA Championship, but this time they seem to be on the same wavelength.
Dick: In stark contrast to the beginning of the year, SELF has now given everyone in MECCA a common enemy.
(FINISH: As Nykk sets up Nathans for a running European Uppercut, Trent Acid runs down. When Nykk hits the ropes, Acid pulls the top rope down, and Nykk spills to the outside. He beats on Nykk on the outside, but Fox suddenly dives through the ropes to take them both down with a tope. They get up as Nathans comes out to beat up Fox. Fletcher comes over the ropes with a somersault plancha, taking out everyone except Nykk. Nykk gets back in the ring and waits for them to get up. He gives them all a pescado, and throws Nathans back in the ring as referee Keith Young makes the count. However, just before Nykk can get in the ring, Eddie Crowe runs around the ring, crouching down to avoid being seen by the ref. He clips Nykk's knee, and Young reaches ten, calling for the bell.)
Winners: The UK Wrecking Crew
David: The UK Wrecking Crew just stole this one on a count-out thanks to their new leader Eddie Crowe!
Dick: The UKWC still say they're technically undefeated, and this is just going to support their case.
(Fletcher and Acid throw Fox back in the ring, and SELF commences the beatdown. The UKWC give Fox the Crane Swing, and Trent and Eddie give Nykk a Backseat Driver/powerbomb combo. However, Cynric and Alan Mayse run out to even the odds. Cynric takes down Acid with a spinning heel kick and then clotheslines Fletcher over the top rope. Eddie and Acid escape from the ring as Mayse gives Nathans a Tiger Bomb. He rolls away too, and SELF regroups on the outside.)
David: Take that, Straight Edge Lifestyle Foundation! Let's see how you do when the odds are even!
Dick: It's a good thing Cynric and Alan got out here when they did. I have a feeling we were about to see a repeat of what happened with the Pyro Twins earlier.
David: It's been a wild night here on Go Time, but be sure to tune in again next week for the final countdown to Scared Stiff, as well as the big eight-man tag! Good night!
(SELF yells insults back to the ring, as Nykk, Cynric, Fox and Mayse tell them to bring it on.)
