("Neocon" opening.)
David: We are here in Indianapolis, Indiana, for Go Time, and what a night At Your Own Risk was on FSN. Nykk retained the MECCA Championship, winning Four Corner Chaos in a hard-fought match.
Dick: Nykk showed exactly why a little craftiness can take you a long way when you're clearly outmatched physically.
David: In other news, it was Delirious and Dreamo who won the Tag Team Gauntlet, and came so close to winning the tag titles before getting put away by the UK Wrecking Crew. But on tap for tonight, what a great main event. Nykk goes one on one with Low Ki, non-title.
Dick: Also, a spot on the Contender Star is up for grabs as Ronin Fox takes on Alan Mayse!
David: We're all set to take off here on Go Time!
("Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)
David: What a match it was for the Pyro Twins at At Your Own Risk, where they defeated Eddie Crowe and Trent Acid. It turned out that their desire to leave Eddie alone was all a ruse, and Jay tore into his younger brother at the first possible opportunity.
Dick: Eddie learned a very painful lesson at the hands of the masters of tag team mind games, the ruthless Pyro Twins. They had us all thinking they were going soft for a while there.
("The Leaving Song Part II" hits and Eddie Crowe and Trent Acid make their way to the ring.)
David: We've got a rematch from At Your Own Risk right here, as Eddie and Trent attempt to get some payback for the defeat they suffered.
Dick: The Pyro Twins are also still looking for their rightful shot at the tag titles, but until that restraining order from the UK Wrecking Crew expires, they can't go within fifty feet of the champs.
(FINISH: Eddie goes for a brainbuster on Dusty, but Jay kicks his leg out from under him and Dusty falls on top of Eddie for a two count. Acid comes in and tries a Yakuza Kick on Dusty, but he ducks and the Pyro Twins give him Final Darkness. Dusty covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: The Pyro Twins
David: The Pyro Twins are victorious once again, and you know they would love a shot at the MECCA Tag Team Titles, if they could get one.
Dick: The UKWC might have something to say about that.
David: We've got much more to come here on Go Time, including Ronin Fox vs. Alan Mayse. Don't go away!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, the Pyro Twins are walking when they come across Eddie sitting by himself.)
Jay: Well, brother, have we learned anything yet? You obviously didn't have us figured out like you thought we did, so let us introduce ourselves. My name is Jay Crowe, he's Dusty Schneble, and we are the Pyro Twins. If you thought for one moment that I would try to protect you after all that you've pulled over the past seven months, you were dead wrong.
(Eddie stands up and glares at Jay.)
Eddie: What I am is a product of straight-edge. I tried to save you both, I tried to lead you down the right road, but you were too stupid to see what was good for you. You turned your backs on me, and on Punk. If you think that beating myself and Acid again has broken SELF's spirit, you're the ones who are dead wrong.
(He slaps Jay, and Jay punches him. They start brawling, and Acid jumps in out of nowhere and starts to brawl with Dusty. The fistfight rages until it passes off camera.)
(In the arena, David Mills and Dick Broccoli are sitting at the announcing table. "Entre dos Tierras" is playing and Kaientai DX is in the ring.)
David: Things are certainly not over between the Pyro Twins and SELF, and they don't look to be settled anytime soon.
Dick: No, and we've got some more tag team action on the way. In the ring...
(David Caldwell suddenly appears and takes a live mic from the announcing table.)
David: What the hell are you doing here, Caldwell?
Caldwell: This is notice to all you fans, and all the wrestlers and staff in the back, and especially you two idiots in the ring! Nobody disrespects David Caldwell and gets away with it! You two embarrassed me last week, and so I went back to your home country of Japan, and as you saw at At Your Own Risk, and acquisitioned two of your fellow countrymen to take you down. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you... Katsushi Takemura and Keiji Sakota!
("Blue Blast - Winning the Rainbow" hits and Katsushi Takemura and Keiji Sakota run out to the ring, with David Caldwell following them. They attack Togo and Teioh.)
David: The fight's on... is this even a match? There's no ref out here.
Dick: Takemura and Sakota returned to MECCA at At Your Own Risk this past Saturday, and ended the Eccentrics' winning streak in the Tag Team Gauntlet. It appears as though David Caldwell now represents them.
(Sakota hits Togo with a Roaring Elbow as Takemura applies a sleeper to Teioh. He then lifts Teioh wheelbarrow style, and Sakota hooks his head. They DDT him on top of Togo.)
David: Takemura and Sakota have laid out Kaientai Deluxe, and David Caldwell looks ecstatic.
Dick: Now that the tag team situation is wide open, either one of these teams could be the next challengers to the MECCA Tag Team Titles.
David: When we come back, Ronin Fox takes on Alan Mayse.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)
David: Big one on one match here with a spot on the Contender Star at stake. Alan Mayse came close to winning the MECCA Championship at At Your Own Risk, as all the participants in Four Corner Chaos did, and he has to be disappointed.
Dick: He can't dwell on that too much, though. He has a tough opponent coming out shortly.
("Wherever I May Roam" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)
David: These two actually teamed together over the summer, but partnerships are out the window where MECCA title shots are concerned.
Dick: Ronin Fox has stated plainly that he wants that title. And if he faces Nykk for it, that means he stands a pretty good chance of winning it.
(FINISH: Fox sets Alan on the top rope and goes for a hurricanrana. Alan holds on to the top rope, and Fox crashes to the mat. Alan goes for a missile dropkick, but Fox moves. Fox leaps to the top rope, but Alan manages to charge and push him onto the top turnbuckle. He turns Fox around and climbs, going for the top rope Tigerbomb. Fox somersaults over Alan and powerbombs him off the top rope, somersaulting over with a bridge for the three count.)
Winner: Ronin Fox
David: Ronin Fox takes the victory and a spot on the Contender Star! You know he'll be knocking on Nykk's door pretty soon.
Dick: Nykk hasn't shied away from a fight yet, but...
(Dick is cut off as the camera switches to Bill Bicknell, who is down in the bowels of the building. A crowd of officials is behind him.)
Bill: Sorry to cut you off, guys, but I saw a bunch of referees hurrying this way, and this looks bad.
(The camera spies over the shoulder of Rya Zay and it shows Nykk lying on the ground, unconscious. His entire face is bloody, and the MECCA Championship lies in a heap next to him.)
Bill: Apparently, Nykk came down here to stretch for his match and... I don't know what happened. What happened, guys?
Rya: We don't know. Keith went to find him, and he called all of us down here. Move out of the way so the medical staff can get through, please.
Bill: No one knows how long Nykk has been like this...
(Katie Piehl enters the scene.)
Katie: What happened?
Rya: We don't know, Ms. Piehl. It looks like someone attacked Nykk.
Katie: All right, get the paramedics down here ASAP! Does anyone know what happened here!?
Bill: Obviously it's a very chaotic scene as it looks like someone has attacked Nykk and left him for dead. I don't know what's going to happen to our main event tonight, guys, but I'm told we're going to take a break while this gets sorted out.
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is wandering around, followed by the cameraman.)
Bill: We're back here on Go Time, and I've been kicked out of the bowels of the building, where Nykk is still lying unconscious and bloody. We have no idea who attacked him, but I'm going to see if I can get to the bottom of this.
(Shadow comes walking down the hallway.)
Bill: Shadow! Did you hear what happened to Nykk?
Shadow: Yeah. A shame. You know, Katie Piehl gave me my rematch against Lisa Letty for Scared Stiff on October 29...
Bill: Nykk's still being tended to, Shadow. He's unconscious. I don't suppose the Dangerous Liaison had anything to do with that?
Shadow: Look, Nykk's twice my size, you think I'm going to be able to toss him around, even if I did have my girls helping me? Who cares about Nykk, Bill? I've got a Ladies' Titles shot on October 29 and...
(Lisa Letty walks up.)
Lisa: Yeah, Shadow, you have your title shot. You've been telling everybody the same sad story ever since you got here. You're going to tear me apart, what you did to me at Midsummer Night Slam will be nothing compared to Scared Stiff. Your bag of tricks has run out, Shadow. Your hand is played. On October 29, I'm taking care of you once and for all.
Shadow: Is that right? That's right, Lisa, I have been talking about this match since I got here today. The reason why is because I want you to know exactly what you're in store for. No tricks from me this time. I'm going to straight out kick your ass. That Ladies' Title is coming home with me this Halloween, and I will do anything to make sure that happens.
(She storms away.)
Bill: That's going to be a classic, ladies, but I have to go. Let's see if I can find out more about who took out Nykk. Kevin Stone!
(Kevin Stone is spotted farther down the hallway, and Bill runs up to him.)
Bill: Kevin, you came very close to winning the MECCA Championship this past Saturday, only to have Nykk steal the victory when you had it in your grasp. Did you decide to take out your frustrations tonight?
Stone: You've got a lot of balls asking me that, don't you? You know something? I'm glad Nykk got what he had coming to him... I only wish I'd had the idea to do it. I thought about starting something with him tonight, seeing if I could maybe get a one on one title shot, but he disappears right when the show starts and I couldn't find him anywhere. I was this close to becoming MECCA Champion on Saturday, Bill, and that little weasel stole the victory from me. But Kevin Stone's time is coming. I'm still a strong contender, and when I get the shot, you're looking at your new MECCA Champion. It won't be today, unfortunately, but...
(The Eccentric Alliance suddenly dances through, with Cheesecake in the lead. They've got a train line going, with Dreamo bringing up the caboose, almost seeming to be dragged along as he holds onto the back of Huh's shirt.)
Cheesecake: Choo-choo! Party train coming through!
Stone: What the hell is this?
Cheesecake: A party train! Th'ince me and Huh did th'o well in the Gauntlet, Katie Piehl gave us a tag title shot next week! I'th'n't that just the living end?
(He puts a party hat on Kevin's head. Kevin looks pissed.)
Stone: You have exactly three seconds to live.
(Cheesecake looks uneasily at the rest of the Eccentric Alliance.)
Stone: Three... I lied.
(Kevin clotheslines Cheesecake, as Medea Knight dives out of the way. He rams Delirious into the wall, and then gives Huh a big boot. Dreamo's already fallen asleep on the floor, so Kevin just kicks him. He rips the party hat off his head and throws it to the ground.)
Stone: Party train derailed.
(He storms off.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)
David: We're back, but what's going on with our main event? Low Ki's out here, but as far as I know, Nykk is still unconscious in the back.
Dick: Well, Low Ki came here for a fight tonight, and he's not going to let a little thing like lack of an opponent get in the way of that.
David: We understand that paramedics are tending to Nykk as we speak, but he's not going to make it to this match.
(Katie Piehl comes out with a microphone.)
Katie: Ladies and gentlemen, fans at home, and you, Low Ki... I'm sure you all know what's going on tonight. As of right now, Nykk is being treated and he will not make it down for this match... however, we will have a main event tonight, and Low Ki, I have found you an opponent... not the easiest thing to do on such short notice, but we have to make do with what we have. So ladies and gentlemen, I apologize for Nykk's absence, but... it couldn't be helped.
("Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers is pushed through the curtains by some officials. He's carrying his skateboard and still wearing his street clothes.)
David: What the... Joey Sprinklers is Low Ki's opponent!? Low Ki's going to kill him!
Dick: This just became an easy night for Low Ki, David.
David: Joey hasn't won a match yet, and he looks terrified!
(Low Ki asks referee Keith Young if this is a joke. Joey tries to run, but officials force him into the ring. Katie tells him it'll be all right and to do his best. Joey sees Low Ki's back turned, and he decides to go for it and charges him with the skateboard. Low Ki ducks, and Joey drops it. Low Ki stomps through the skateboard, breaking it in half. He gives Joey a rolling koppo kick as the bell rings.)
David: We have a bell, and Low Ki's going to tear Joey Sprinklers apart!
(FINISH: Low Ki kills Joey the entire match, with Joey barely getting in any offense. Low Ki whips Joey into the corner and charges, but Joey gets his feet up. He goes to the top rope, but Ki hits the Tidal Crush, kicking Joey in the head. Joey sails off the top rope and into the guardrail. Low Ki poses, but suddenly Nykk stumbles out of the locker room, still bloody. Katie Piehl appears behind him, holding the MECCA Championship, and officials follow Nykk, trying to hold him back. Nykk has none of it and stumbles down to the ring, where Low Ki has stopped to jaw with him. Nykk gets on the apron and throws a bloody bandana at Low Ki. Low Ki looks down at it and then comes over to Nykk, chewing him out. Nykk takes a swing, and Low Ki fights back, with officials trying to separate them. Nykk finally grabs the title belt from Katie and hits Low Ki in the head with it. Low Ki falls to the mat, and Joey suddenly leaps into the ring out of nowhere and into the cover. Young makes the three count as the officials finally succeed in dragging Nykk to the back.)
Winner: Joey Sprinklers
David: Wait a minute... Joey Sprinklers wins!?
Dick: Did he just beat freakin' Low Ki for his first victory!?
(Joey celebrates, in tears in the ring. However, Low Ki soon sits up with a look of disbelief on his face, and Joey's adulation turns to terror. He flees the ring as Low Ki gets up. He starts jawing with Keith Young and finally kicks him, delivering the Ki Krusher. Joey makes a break for it, and Low Ki rolls out of the ring, stalking up the aisle after him.)
David: Joey Sprinklers just got his first victory at Low Ki's expense, and Low Ki is not happy about it!
Dick: Joey Sprinklers has just been sentenced to death right here in Indianapolis. He just cost Low Ki his place on the Contender Star.
David: Joey sprung for the quick pin right after Nykk nailed Low Ki in the face with the championship... wait a minute... that bandana. That could be Low Ki's. Did Nykk find that in the vicinity of his attack? Is that why he came out here?
Dick: It would make sense. But why would Low Ki attack Nykk tonight, even if they do still have ill feelings toward one another?
David: I don't know, but I do know that Joey Sprinklers is in terror after his very first victory. He not only just took Low Ki's place on the Contender Star, but embarrassed him as well. How will this play out? We'll have to find out next week, because we're out of time!
(Low Ki runs through the curtain, shouting, "Sprinklers!")
