("Neocon" opening.)
David: Welcome to Go Time, everyone! We're just four days away from At Your Own Risk, the first MECCA event to be broadcast on Fox Sports Net, and we have a hell of a preview of the Four Corner Chaos in our main event tonight.
Dick: The four participants will face off in a tag team match. Nykk teams with Alan Mayse to take on the team of Cynric and Kevin Stone!
David: That's not all, because the Pyro Twins will take on Eddie Crowe and Trent Acid in singles matches. First, Dusty Schneble will battle Trent Acid, and later tonight, it'll be brother vs. brother as Jay Crowe takes on Eddie Crowe.
Dick: How are the Pyro Twins going to get through tonight and still keep their word that they won't hurt Eddie?
David: It will be a true test of their wills, to be sure. All that and much more, right here tonight.
("Closer" hits and Trent Acid makes his way to the ring.)
David: Trent Acid will represent SELF in this contest, even though there's not much of a SELF these days.
Dick: Eddie told me earlier that he's waiting until this business with the Pyro Twins is complete before he recruits new members.
("Burning Times" hits and Dusty Schneble makes his way to the ring.)
David: Dusty Schneble is certainly glad that he's not Jay right now, since neither of the Pyro Twins have any reservations about kicking the crap out of Acid.
Dick: The Pyro Twins never liked Acid to begin with, and now they have an excuse to beat on him as much as they want.
(FINISH: Eddie comes down to ringside during the match and taunts Dusty. Dusty manages to give Acid the Rope Burn II, but Acid's foot catches referee Keith Young in the face. Young goes down, and Dusty covers, but there's no count. Eddie grabs a chair at ringside and gets in the ring. He charges Dusty, but Dusty sees him coming. He grabs the chair instinctively, but he pauses before he yanks it out of Eddie's hands. Eddie smirks at him, and Dusty pushes the chair back at him. He turns his attention back to Acid, but Eddie hits him across the skull with the chair. Acid sends Dusty down with the Yakuza Kick and covers. Young wakes up and makes the three count.)
Winner: Trent Acid
David: Trent Acid is victorious here, and thanks to that double shot first with the chair and then the Yakuza Kick, Dusty may be out.
Dick: He kept true to his word. He didn't go after Eddie, but it cost him the match.
David: Now Jay probably won't have any backup later when he faces his brother! What's going to happen tonight?
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Lisa Letty and Zoe Alexander.)
Bill: Ladies, this Saturday, At Your Own Risk, a tag match against LuFisto and Gail Kim. What are your thoughts going up against an experienced tandem like those two?
Lisa: Bill, we've known each other for quite a while now. Have you ever known me to be cowed by the odds being stacked against me? People said I couldn't hang with LuFisto in a hardcore environment... but I did. People said I was too inexperienced to be the first Ladies' Champ... but I was. People said I would never be able to counteract the Dangerous Liaison and get the belt back from Shadow. And guess what? I did. This Saturday is no different. LuFisto, Kim, you two have been coming after me for months now, and now that you have more friends on your side, my side was left a little short.
Zoe: And that's where I come in. LuFisto, you may be the First Lady of Hardcore, and Gail Kim, you may be the Sensation of Submission, but I'm Zoe Alexander, a technician with precision. It still took your whole group to take me down after I'd wrestled a grueling match. At Your Own Risk is not only a chance for revenge, but a chance to prove myself to the fans and powers that be in MECCA. I can't wait for this shot, because after this Saturday, I'm proving that I'm here to stay.
Lisa: So watch out, Dangerous Liaison, because the more you try to control the ladies' division here in MECCA, the more resistance you'll find. This Saturday, it starts with LuFisto and Gail Kim.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "The Goon's Theme Remix" hits and the Ballard Brothers make their way to the ring.)
David: We're set for some tag team action, and here come the Ballard Brothers.
Dick: They've entered the Tag Team Gauntlet this Saturday, and definitely plan to warm up for that right here on Go Time.
("Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers makes his way to the ring.)
David: Joey came close to gaining his first win last week over Shane Ballard, but was upset after interference from Shannon.
(Clips from the 9/13 Go Time are shown.)
Dick: Joey's getting more and more desperate for a win, and being around him in the back, he's getting more and more paranoid about his spot on the roster. Especially now that he's started losing to other guys who haven't exactly had a great track record here.
(Joey gets a mic.)
Joey: Ballards... last week you tried to pull a fast one on me, and it worked, goddamn it! But I'm a little bit smarter then the average bear, yo. This week, I challenged you to a tag match so that I got both of ya's in the ring at the same time, so there's no switching going on. Only problem is I don't have a partner! So, MECCA locker room... please... I'm beggin' someone... anyone... tag with me!
(He looks toward the locker room.)
David: I don't think anyone's coming, Joey.
Dick: Who would want to tag with a loser like Joey?
("Sweet Dreams" suddenly hits and Dreamo staggers to the ring, followed by Medea Knight.)
Dick: Oh.
David: Dreamo is out here now. He's part of the Eccentric Alliance!
Dick: Well, he hasn't exactly made his mark on this promotion yet. The young guys have to take every opportunity they're given.
(FINISH: Joey gets on the shoulders and rolls into a victory roll on Shannon, then goes for the tag. However, Dreamo is asleep on the apron. Shane is able to come in and pull Joey away. He pulls Joey's leg and Joey gets to one foot. He hits an enzugiri on Shane, sending him barreling into Shannon. Medea sets off the alarm clock, and Dreamo jumps to attention, extending his hand for the tag. Joey makes the tag and Dreamo gets the hot tag. He sends the Ballards down with clotheslines and then bounces off the ropes. He dropkicks Shane through the ropes and then lifts Shannon into a fireman's carry rib breaker. He sends Shannon back down with a right, and then hits Shane with another right, but he's starting to get tired again. His punches get more lethargic, and Medea calls for some coffee. Thinking quickly, Joey runs up to the announcers' table and grabs a cup of coffee. He runs back to the ring and throws it in Dreamo's face. Dreamo screams in agony, and Shane pulls Joey out of the ring and rams him into the guardrail. He and Shannon give Dreamo the Penalty Box and Shannon covers for the three count.)
Winners: The Ballard Brothers
David: The Ballard Brothers get their first tag team win thanks to some "quick thinking" by Joey Sprinklers.
Dick: He owes me a cup of coffee!
David: Apparently, Joey mistook the idea of drinking coffee with the idea of throwing water on someone.
Dick: What a moron. This guy's breaking down mentally before our eyes.
(In the ring, Joey starts berating Dreamo for getting pinned. Medea confronts him, but Joey brushes her off. He gets a mic.)
Joey: Well, weren't you worthless! That should have been an easy win, but you get pinned! Well, now you're the object of my wrath. So at At Your Own Risk, I know you already have a match... but if you're man enough to accept my challenge, we'll have our own little match before the Tag Team Gauntlet! So don't oversleep!
(He throws the mic down and leaves.)
David: Joey Sprinklers issuing a challenge to Dreamo for At Your Own Risk. He's so desperate that he's challenging anybody.
Dick: Dreamo's already got a lot of matches to wrestle potentially, with this Tag Team Gauntlet. He'd be stupid to... well, I guess we're seeing Joey vs. Dreamo this Saturday.
(Backstage, Shadow enters Katie Piehl's office.)
Katie: Shadow. What can I do for you?
Shadow: You know what you can do for me. When am I getting my rematch against Lisa Letty for the title?
Katie: Rematch? I'm not so sure that after your laugh of a reign that you deserve one...
(Shadow sweeps all the papers off of Katie's desk.)
Katie: Relax! Relax, I was only kidding.
Shadow: Do not toy with me right now. I need that title back.
Katie: Yeah, I know. Already your new friends are starting to doubt your leadership abilities. But no worries. It just so happens that I have your rematch ready to go. You'll get it in one month's time at our next pay-per-view, Scared Stiff, on October 29 from MECCA's hometown of Dayton.
Shadow: First of all, my relationship with the Dangerous Liaison has never been better. They realize that the only way we'll get any respect in the ladies' division is if I lead them. Come October 29, I cement my place in history when I win the Ladies' Title back from Lisa Letty. The only way that women's wrestling can succeed here in the US is with me leading the charge. Maybe after I demolish Letty, you'll realize that.
(She storms out of the office. Katie looks at the camera.)
Katie: Can you believe she's single, fellas?
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Burning Times" hits and Jay Crowe makes his way to the ring.)
David: We're back on Go Time, and we already have a match announced for our next pay-per-view, Scared Stiff. It will be Lisa Letty defending her Ladies' Title against Shadow.
Dick: But right now it's going to be brother vs. brother.
David: Well, Jay Crowe will take on Eddie Crowe, but Eddie doesn't really consider Jay his brother anymore.
("The Leaving Song Part II" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring.)
David: Eddie is hell bent on reforming SELF, but first he has to take care of former SELF members the Pyro Twins, which he and Trent Acid will attempt to do this Saturday in Cleveland.
Dick: But will Jay fight his brother right here or will he wuss out once again?
(Jay gets a mic.)
Jay: Eddie... I've said it before and I'm saying it again. I don't want to hurt you. I'm sorry things have gotten so out of hand, but you're my brother and I love you. To all you fans out there, I'm sorry. I know you've come to expect heartlessness from the Pyro Twins, but this is family business that I have to take care of. So Eddie, what I'm going to do right now is lay down. You can pin me and get the big victory and maybe get another title shot, but I will not fight you.
(He gives the mic to referee Matt Hitchcock. As he's giving it to the ring announcer, Eddie reluctantly goes to his knees and asks Jay if he's sure. Jay says yes, and Eddie covers him. However, before the ref can call for the bell to start the match, Eddie suddenly pulls Jay up into a front guillotine. He knees Jay in the face a couple of times and then throws him into the corner.)
David: Eddie just gave his brother a sucker shot, and now he's laying into him!
Dick: Jay tried to keep his word, but Eddie wants a fight.
(Trent Acid runs out and helps Eddie put the boots to Jay. Jay tries to fight Acid, but Eddie forearms him from behind. Acid gives Jay the Yakuza Kick, and then Eddie puts Jay in a Boston Crab. Acid goes to the second rope and comes down with a legdrop across the back of Jay's head. "The Leaving Song Part II" plays and Eddie tells Jay he'll see him in the ring this Saturday.)
David: Eddie and Acid have laid out Jay, and I wonder if this was the plan all along. Eddie knew he'd have Jay out here by himself after they knocked out Dusty Schneble earlier.
Dick: They're softening up their opponents for At Your Own Risk. Nothing wrong with that.
David: Up next is our main event, where the four participants in the Four Corner Chaos Title Match at At Your Own Risk will take each other on in a big tag match!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, the Eccentric Alliance is partying in the locker room. Huh is stuffing his face, Dreamo is yawning, Cheesecake and Medea are dancing, and Delirious is deep in conversation with his pizza.)
Cheesecake: Only a few days until two of u'th are MECCA Tag Team Champions!
Delirious: Manomahabarasa, bah!
Huh: Huh?
(The UK Wrecking Room enters the locker room.)
Fletcher: What the hell is this?
Cheesecake: It'th a party!
Nathans: Don't you think it's a little premature to be partying, sunshine? After all, to take these belts from us you have to wrestle a Tag Team Gauntlet and then take us out as well.
Cheesecake: Well, we...
Fletcher: Maybe we should make this clearer. There is no way in hell we're letting any of you take these titles from us. We would rather burn than let you freaks upset us, you got that?
(He shoves Cheesecake, and Delirious attacks. Nathans and Fletcher brawl with Delirious, Huh and Cheesecake. Dreamo has fallen asleep, and Medea goes for the alarm clock, but Fletcher kicks her from behind and she sails into the lockers. Nathans ducks a shot from Huh and rams him into some lockers, and then beats down Delirious. Cheesecake gets the better of Fletcher, but Nathans attacks from behind. They hit him over the head with one of the TV trays, sending food everywhere. They then throw him into the showers and leave him there.)
Nathans: This Saturday, we reestablish our spot at the top, sitting on the mountain waiting for all the peons to scramble below for a shot at us. If we happen to meet, expect no mercy.
(The UKWC leaves.)
(Meanwhile, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Kaientai Deluxe and David Caldwell.)
Bill: I'm here with Dick Togo and Men's Teioh, Kaientai Deluxe, along with their manager David Caldwell. David, is KDX ready for the Tag Team Gauntlet?
Caldwell: You can bet your bottom dollar that Togo and Teioh are ready. We've had some setbacks recently, but we've been spending extra time in the gym and we have a few new tricks up our sleeves...
(Togo suddenly taps him on the shoulder.)
Caldwell: What?
Togo: No.
Caldwell: What?
Togo: No.
Caldwell: What do you mean, no? I'm telling the people what we're...
Teioh: He say no. You... fired!
(Togo and Teioh walk away.)
Caldwell: Are you kidding me? Fired!?
Bill: It would seem that KDX has had a parting of the ways with their manager...
Caldwell: Listen to me, Bill! Nobody does this to me and gets away with it, do you understand me!? Togo and Teioh have just met their worst nightmare! Nobody does this to me!
(He storms off.)
Bill: KDX has had a parting of the ways with David Caldwell going into their opportunity at the tag titles this Saturday. Let's go back to the ring.
(In the arena, "Destroy" is playing, and Nykk is in the ring.)
David: How about that? KDX and Caldwell are no longer doing business together.
Dick: And we got some hints that David Caldwell might be looking for revenge for that too.
David: We're set for our main event, a tag team match pitting the four participants in Four Corner Chaos this Saturday against each other. Our MECCA Champion, Nykk, is in the ring and ready to go.
("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)
Dick: How are Alan and Nykk going to coexist in this match? I know they've had an understanding recently, but you can't ignore their past history when titles are at stake.
David: Alan would love to win the MECCA Championship this Saturday. It was a four-way match that started Alan Mayse's long RCW title reign too.
("At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)
David: Here comes Kevin Stone, a competitor who's really broken out since he and Cynric parted ways.
Dick: With this new attitude, I could see Kevin Stone rising all the way to the top here in MECCA.
("Soul Creation" hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring.)
David: Speaking of guys who shouldn't be able to coexist, even though Cynric and Stone used to be a team, they had that bitter feud over the summer that ended in Stone choking out Cynric with his own nunchukus.
Dick: Cynric wants to win the MECCA Championship and finally get his hands on some gold. He's paid his dues, but will those dues pay off this Saturday?
David: Cynric got this opportunity by defeating Low Ki right here on Go Time... speaking of Low Ki, I'm told that he has accepted Fox's challenge for At Your Own Risk.
Dick: I can't wait for that one. It's been pending for five months.
(FINISH: Miscommunication ensues, as members of every team try to score the fall and end the match. As all four men are brawling, Nykk sends Cynric into the guardrail on the floor. He rolls into the ring, where Alan is on the apron and duking it out with Stone. Stone headbutts Alan, dazing him. Nykk tries a clothesline from behind, but Kevin sees him coming and ducks, nailing Nykk with a big boot. He puts Nykk on his shoulders, and Alan slingshots to the top rope. He goes for a springboard dropkick on Stone, but Stone ducks down at the last minute and Nykk takes the dropkick, rolling off of Stone's back. Cynric slides in and gives Nykk the Lift Off as Stone clotheslines Alan. Cynric covers Nykk and gets the win.)
Winners: Kevin Stone and Cynric
David: Cynric gets the momentum heading into At Your Own Risk with a fall over the MECCA Champion himself!
Dick: I don't know who's going to win in Four Corner Chaos. That match could go on all night!
(The ref brings the MECCA Championship into the ring to hand to Nykk, but Kevin shoves him away and grabs the belt. Alan grabs the other end of it, and Cynric grabs the brim. They all stare at each other over the championship belt, but before they can go at it, Nykk snatches it away from all of them and ducks out of the ring, saying that the belt's not going anywhere.)
David: Tension is already running high for this Saturday. For a minute there, I didn't think these four were going to make it to At Your Own Risk. Ladies and gentlemen, that's it from Go Time. Be sure to join us this Saturday on FSN. Four Corner Chaos for the title, Ronin Fox vs. Low Ki, the Tag Team Gauntlet and title match, plus the Pyro Twins take on Eddie Crowe and Trent Acid. We'll see you then!
