Go Time: 9/6/05

Louisville, KY

("Neocon" opening.)

David: We're here in the Bingham Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky, and this is Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli and we're expecting a big announcement for our next event in Cleveland, Ohio, At Your Own Risk. We'll find out the MECCA Championship match, along with getting some clarification on the tag title match.

Dick: And in the main event tonight, Ronin Fox will take on Kevin Stone.

David: Stone isn't too happy with Fox stopping his rampage at Summer Showdown, and he looks forward to taking out his anger on his former partner's brother.

("Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers makes his way to the ring.)

David: We're kicking things off with a rematch from Summer Showdown, as Joey Sprinklers will be taking on Trent Acid one on one.

Dick: Joey's still looking for his first victory in MECCA, and came very close at Summer Showdown. Could this be his night?

("Closer" hits and Trent Acid makes his way to the ring.)

David: Though SELF has helped Acid straighten his priorities a bit, he doesn't seem overly concerned that his leader has left MECCA.

Dick: He has Eddie now. SELF is fine.

David: Eddie hinted that he'll be recruiting new members of SELF soon. I can only imagine who they might be.

(FINISH: Joey manages to crotch Acid on the top turnbuckle and pulls him off right into Da Sprinklanator. He makes the cover, but Acid grabs the ropes. Joey goes for a back suplex, but Acid escapes and kicks Joey. He bounces off the ropes and goes for the Yakuza Kick, but Joey catches his foot and tells Acid who has the brains. Acid responds with an enzugiri, and Acid is able to hit the Acid Bomb and get the three count.)

Winner: Trent Acid

David: Acid scores another victory over Joey, who made a mistake and stopped to congratulate himself before the match was over.

Dick: Textbook example of what not to do in a wrestling match, and it cost Joey.

(As Acid celebrates, "Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)

David: Oh, man...

Dick: Acid should probably be thinking of heading for the hills right now.

David: The Pyro Twins said they wouldn't hurt Eddie, but they emphatically stated that they had no problem with taking on Acid.

(The Pyro Twins attack Acid, trading right hands and then stomping the hell out of him. They lift him to his feet and hit Final Darkness as Eddie Crowe runs out. He rolls into the ring, and the Pyro Twins immediately back off. Eddie wants to fight, but Jay and Dusty leave ringside.)

David: Eddie was ready for a fight, but the Pyro Twins are proving true to their word, as much as the fans want to see this confrontation.

Dick: This is wrestling, Pyro Twins. The longer you resist this obstacle, the more it's going to eat away at your careers. They have to get over this thing with Eddie.

David: Still to come is a Ladies' Championship match, and our main event of Ronin Fox vs. Kevin Stone. Don't go away!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Entre dos Tierras" hits and Kaientai Deluxe make their way to the ring, along with David Caldwell.)

David: We're set for some tag team action, and here comes the dangerous combination of Dick Togo and Men's Teioh.

Dick: KDX is looking to get into contention for the UK Wrecking Crew's tag titles, so they're even more dangerous than usual.

("Pajamarama" hits and the Eccentrics make their way to the ring.)

David: This is a rematch from two weeks ago, when the Eccentrics beat KDX in the middle of the ring after some interference from Caldwell backfired.

Dick: A win here would definitely help Togo and Teioh stake their claim for the title shot at At Your Own Risk.

(FINISH: During a four-man brawl, Teioh goes for the Miracle Ecstasy on Cheesecake, but Cheesecake headbutts him to escape. Caldwell comes in with the Japanese flag and tries to hit Cheesecake. Cheesecake ducks, and Caldwell stops himself just before he hits Teioh. Cheesecake reaches under Caldwell's legs and pulls the flagpole under them and crotches Caldwell with it. Caldwell bends over in pain and Cheesecake dropkicks him so that he shoots forward to headbutt Teioh in the groin. Teioh holds himself in pain, and Cheesecake executes an inside cradle for the three count.)

Winners: The Eccentrics

David: The Eccentrics pick up the victory again thanks to Caldwell sticking his nose in where it doesn't belong.

Dick: This is going to hurt them. Two losses in a row to the Eccentrics?

(The Eccentrics leave, jubilant in victory, as Togo argues with Caldwell. When Teioh gets up, Caldwell tries to apologize, but Teioh shoves him down.)

David: What's this? KDX is visibly upset with Caldwell and Teioh just shoved him down onto that fat ass of his.

Dick: Are they on the outs with Caldwell?

David: I don't know, but what I do know that up next is a Ladies' Title defense. Lisa Letty defends against LuFisto.

(Backstage, the Pyro Twins are walking down the hall when they encounter Nykk.)

Nykk: So I see you guys have finally taken my advice and ditched that SELF thing.

Dusty: That's right.

Nykk: Well, let me be the first to say welcome back. But make no mistake, Jay, Dusty... I haven't forgotten your betrayal. And let me say that I would be happy to be there for you, to work the corner for you, I will be your tag team partner... but not before this thing with Eddie is finished. Since he's the cause of all this strife between us, it's up to you two to act like men and end this. When I see that you've caused him the pain that you've caused me... then we'll talk. Until then.

(Nykk walks away, and Jay and Dusty share a look.)

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Fell in Love with a Girl" hits and LuFisto makes her way to the ring.)

David: We're set for a Ladies' Title match here on Go Time, and the challenger is LuFisto from the Dangerous Liaison.

Dick: Apparently, Lisa Letty was so upset at what the Dangerous Liaison did two weeks ago that she demanded to face one of them, and LuFisto was the one to challenge her.

("Edge of Seventeen" hits and Lisa Letty makes her way to the ring.)

David: These two have a storied history, as it was LuFisto who trained Lisa Letty to be in this business, and then turned her back on her when Lisa became the first Ladies' Champion back on our first show in January.

Dick: And then they had that spectacular Hardcore Match at the MECCA Challenge that really made Lisa and painted her as the number one female star in this company.

(FINISH: LuFisto goes for the LuFisto Launcher, but Lisa counters with a headscissors takeover. She gives LuFisto a back elbow and then goes for the Letty Driver. LuFisto fights back down to her feet and tries to dump Lisa, but Lisa counters into a sunset flip. LuFisto tries to roll through, but Lisa catches her and hooks the arms, somersaulting over into the Letty Stretch. After a few moments, LuFisto taps out.)

Winner: Lisa Letty

David: Lisa Letty retains, and what a mark on her record. Another victory over her former mentor.

Dick: It's not so surprising. Lisa's learned some new tricks since she and LuFisto parted ways.

David: We understand that Katie Piehl is in her office and is prepared to give us the big announcement for At Your Own Risk. Let's go back there.

(In the office, Katie Piehl is sitting on her desk.)

Katie: Well, after a week of thinking about it, I've thought of a way to satisfy everybody who's looking for a title shot. With Alan Mayse's non-title victory over Nykk, Cynric's victory over Low Ki, and Kevin Stone being undefeated since July, the logical thing to do would be to make this a Four Way Dance. But just to spice things up a bit, I've come up with a MECCA original. So at At Your Own Risk, Nykk will defend his MECCA Championship against Cynric... against Alan Mayse, and of course, against Kevin Stone... in a Four Corner Chaos Match. It's every man for himself, but work together if you want to win! Now, onto the tag title situation. Certainly the tag division has been heating up lately, and I figure that the only fair thing to do is give everyone an opportunity. So we're going to have ourselves a little Tag Team Invitational Gauntlet on September 24... any team that wants to enter will be welcome. The survivors of that Gauntlet will then immediately take on the tag team champions, the UK Wrecking Crew, for the tag titles. So there you have it, fans... September 24, Cleveland, Ohio, At Your Own Risk... Nykk vs. Cynric vs. Mayse vs. Stone, and an Invitational Gauntlet for an immediate shot at the tag belts. Thank you, and enjoy the rest of our show.

(Commercial Break)

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Joey Sprinklers.)

Bill: Joey, tonight you came close yet again to attaining victory, but fell short. How are you holding up?

Joey: I don't know anymore, Bill. It's gettin' to the point where I’m obsessin' over this whole thing. I don't eat, I don't sleep... I even fall over when I'm on my skateboard! I've got to get a win here in MECCA. I'm desperate, Bill! That's why I'm goin' after possibly the biggest losers here besides me... Shane and Shannon Ballard. They haven't won any matches yet either, you know? So I'm challengin' one a'dem to a match next week. I may have to start small, but I will find a way to victory here in MECCA. I've just got to.

(Joey walks away and nearly walks into a wall.)

Bill: Uh... yeah. And Joey, take a nap or something. Or at least have a shower. Geez.

(In the arena, "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)

David: Kevin Stone is ready for the main event, and he has to be pumped up knowing that he, along with Alan Mayse and Cynric, will be getting a title shot at Nykk at At Your Own Risk.

Dick: It's going to be Four Corner Chaos, which means that tags only count if the two men involved successfully perform a double team maneuver on the opponent. It's every man for himself, but you have to work together to win.

("Wherever I May Roam" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)

David: Ronin Fox has to be happy for his brother, but you know in the back of his mind that he's wondering where his title shot is.

Dick: He's also got this thing with Low Ki to keep him busy. They already had heat because of what Low Ki said about Fox when he was put out with an injury, but last week Fox was just fanning the flames when he cost Low Ki the match against Cynric and a shot at Nykk's title.

(FINISH: Fox keeps going for the Tail End throughout the match, but Stone keeps throwing him off easily. Finally, Fox chops Kevin down to the point where he can hit the move, but fakes it and jumps up to the top rope, hitting the Fox Fire. He with his head near the ropes, and Low Ki comes out from underneath the ring. He kicks underneath the bottom rope and gets Fox right in the face. Fox rolls off Kevin in pain as Low Ki goes back underneath the ring. Kevin gets to his feet and Fox charges for the Tail End, but Kevin responds with a big boot that levels Fox. He covers and gets the three count.)

Winner: Kevin Stone

David: Stone just nearly kicked Fox's head off with that boot, and Kevin is able to keep alive going into Four Corner Chaos on September 24.

Dick: Low Ki just paid Fox back in kind for last week, and Fox could have been concussed after those two kicks.

(Low Ki comes out and slides into the ring as Kevin holds Fox up. Ki gives him another couple of stiff kicks, and Stone throws Fox out of the ring.)

David: That was just unnecessary. Stone is still hot about Fox stopping him from choking the life out of Cynric at Summer Showdown. And why are these two so buddy-buddy all of a sudden? We're out of time this week, but be sure to join us again next week here on Go Time. Good night, everyone!
