("Neocon" opening.)
David: We are just a few days away from Summer Showdown, live on pay-per-view, where Nykk will defend his MECCA Championship against Low Ki in a Submission Match! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and welcome to Go Time!
Dick: We've got a huge six-man main event tonight, as Nykk will team with Ronin Fox and Cynric to take on C.M. Punk, Kevin Stone and Low Ki.
David: Also, Jay Crowe will take on his former SELF stablemate, Trent Acid, but we're starting things off with a Ladies' Title Match!
("Brackish" hits and Gail Kim makes her way to the ring.)
David: This match was set up last week by interim authority Nykk, citing that all the ladies that Shadow defended her title against deserved a rematch.
Dick: That didn't sit too well with Shadow, who has three opponents to worry about now instead of one.
("Fell in Love with a Girl" hits and LuFisto makes her way to the ring.)
David: Shadow is set to defend her Ladies' Title against Lisa Letty at Summer Showdown, but that match could change if Shadow were to lose tonight.
Dick: We definitely have some interesting possibilities here. I wouldn't mind seeing Lisa and LuFisto rekindle their feud.
("Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart makes her way to the ring.)
David: Kelly came close to winning the Ladies' Title a few weeks ago, but she too fell at the hands of Shadow.
Dick: Kelly has future champion written all over her, and tonight could be her night.
("Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow makes her way to the ring.)
David: The Ladies' Champion has not only this match to worry about, but her match against the woman she betrayed back in June, Lisa Letty.
Dick: Lisa better be careful that her desire for revenge doesn't overcome her common sense on August 20. It's a weakness that Shadow could definitely exploit.
(FINISH: Shadow and LuFisto go for a double team on Kelly, but Kelly backdrops LuFisto over the top rope. She lands on her feet on the apron, and Shadow goes for a standing enzugiri on Kelly, who ducks. Shadow nails LuFisto, sending her into the guardrail, and Kelly rolls up Shadow for a two count. Gail comes off the top rope and gives Kelly a hurricanrana, and Shadow goes for an elevated Boston Crab. Kelly twists the other way, causing Shadow to somersault and kick Gail in the face. Shadow helps Gail up, but Kelly dropkicks Shadow into her, sending Gail through the ropes. Kelly executes a backslide on Shadow and gets a close two count. She gives her a scoop slam and then goes up for the Kelly Cyclone. Shadow gets up and charges, but Kelly kicks her in the face. She goes for a victory roll, but Shadow lands on top of her and hooks the ropes, getting a three count.)
Winner: Shadow
David: Shadow gets the victory just barely, using the ropes for extra leverage.
Dick: Now she goes on to Summer Showdown to face Lisa... wait, she's here!
(Lisa Letty gets into the ring, and Shadow looks around for her friends, but they're still in pain on the floor. She gets her belt and takes a swing at Lisa, but Lisa ducks and tackles her. She wraps Shadow in a body scissors and traps her arms. The camera gets close enough to pick up what she's saying.)
Lisa: We're just a few days away from the end of your reign... if you want to bring your help and weapons and cheating... that's fine. I can play that game. But if you want to prove that your title reign isn't just a false charade, all you need to bring is you. Either way, I will reclaim what's rightfully mine... and I'm going to hurt you bad in the process.
(Lisa lets go and Shadow scrambles out of the ring as "Edge of Seventeen" plays.)
David: Lisa is determined to retake the Ladies' Title at Summer Showdown, and she's letting Shadow know about it. When we come back, Reckless Abandon will take on SELF members Eddie Crowe and Dusty Schneble!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Can't Stop" hits and Reckless Abandon make their way to the ring.)
David: He's tweakin' out!
Dick: Reckless Abandon are ready for this one. Spanky has that big match with Eddie Crowe at Summer Showdown, and he's going to use this match to prepare.
("The Leaving Song Part II" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring, looking over his shoulder, but Dusty Schneble isn't following him.)
David: I see Eddie, but what happened to Dusty?
Dick: I don't know, but does this mean this is a handicap match now? Has Dusty decided to side with his partner Jay after all?
(FINISH: The match is changed to a handicap match in the absence of Dusty. Eddie does his best, but is dominated by Reckless Abandon. Later in the match, Eddie gets Delirious in the Crowe's Nest, but Spanky hits him with a rolling necksnap to make him break the hold. Delirious and Spanky give him Get Well Soon, and Spanky covers for the three count.)
Winners: Reckless Abandon
David: Eddie just could not compete with both Spanky and Delirious, and his adversary at Summer Showdown got the better of him again.
Dick: Where the hell was Dusty? I think he has sided with Jay.
David: We've said before that Eddie is like a brother to Dusty, but the Pyro Twins have a bond that only something like this could break. Speaking of Eddie's brother, he'll be in action next against Trent Acid!
(Backstage, Nykk is sitting on Katie Piehl's desk, with the MECCA Championship over his shoulder.)
Nykk: Hello, fans, and I hope you're all as excited as I am about Summer Showdown, live on pay-per-view this Saturday from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Of course, I'll be making Low Ki scream like a little girl in the Submission Match for MY MECCA Championship... Lisa Letty will attempt to win the Ladies' Championship from her former friend Shadow... Ronin Fox and Alan Mayse will get a rematch from last week, challenging the UK Wrecking Crew for the tag titles... Jay Crowe takes on C.M. Punk as SELF destructs... get it? And as I just spoke to him a few minutes ago, Kevin Stone has accepted the challenge Cynric laid out for him last week. They will take each other on in an Anything Goes Match. We'll be right back with more MECCA action, but be sure to join us this Saturday, as the Midwestern Establishment of Competitive Combat Arts returns to pay-per-view... and watch the throw-down at Summer Showdown!
Director: Cut!
Nykk: How was that? You think the belt needs some more shine?
Director: It was fine.
Nykk: How about that little tagline? Throw-down at Summer Showdown...
Director: I said it was fine.
Nykk: I think we should do a couple more takes. Where are you going?
(Nykk goes off camera.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Closer" hits and Trent Acid makes his way to the ring.)
David: We found out just before the break, thanks to interim authority Nykk, that Kevin Stone has accepted Cynric's challenge. They will collide in an Anything Goes Match in just a few short days at Summer Showdown. Right now, Trent Acid has been sent to do Punk's dirty work and soften Jay up before this Saturday.
Dick: It's a tactic as old as the game. If Jay wants Punk, he has to get through Acid first.
("Burning Times" hits and Jay Crowe makes his way to the ring.)
David: We also found out that Ronin Fox and Alan Mayse will get their rematch for the tag titles at Summer Showdown after being tricked into disqualifying themselves last week by the UK Wrecking Crew. And Jay, of course, can't wait to get his hands on C.M. Punk.
Dick: After spending months obeying Punk just so he could try and dissuade some of his influence over his brother, Jay has finally had enough. He's said to hell with consequences; Eddie's his own man, and has to make his own mistakes, and I want at C.M. Punk.
(FINISH: Jay moves out of the way of the Yakuza Kick and gives Acid a belly to belly suplex. He goes for the Overhaul, but Acid hits him in the face and escapes. Acid goes for the Shovel Driver, but Jay escapes and rolls him up for a two count. Acid gets up first and superkicks Jay. He goes to the top rope, but Jay crotches him on the top turnbuckle. He lifts Acid off the ropes and gives him the Overhaul, covering for the three count.)
Winner: Jay Crowe
David: Jay is successful over his former stablemate, and has momentum going into his match against Punk at Summer Showdown.
Dick: Jay gets a big singles victory heading into this Saturday, and he looks like he's ready for Punk.
(As Jay poses, Acid attacks from behind. Eddie Crowe comes out to help Acid, and they hit Jay with a double suplex. Acid gives Jay the Yakuza Kick, and Eddie gets a mic.)
Eddie: Well, brother, I guess you finally decided to show your true colors. When will you understand that Punk looks out for me, Punk watches out for me, Punk... is my brother. This Saturday, don't count on me being there to support you. My loyalty is with my new family, and when you're down and begging for the pain to stop, it will be me who lands the killing blow. I owe you that much... brother.
(He slams the mic into Jay's head, and he and Acid leave.)
David: What sickening remarks coming from Eddie Crowe. He's totally Punk's now.
Dick: But with an interesting twist... Dusty Schneble abandoned his partner Eddie earlier tonight, yet did not come out to save Jay from this beatdown. Just whose side will he take in this rivalry?
David: I know Dusty's here, I saw him wandering around earlier. Maybe we'll find out Dusty's game this Saturday. We'll be right back.
(Commercial Break)
(Trent Acid walks into the bathroom and spots the cameraman.)
Acid: Now this is going too far!
(A toilet flushes and Joey Sprinklers comes out of a stall. He heads toward a sink, but Acid shoves him out of the way and takes it for himself.)
Joey: Whaddya think you're doin', ya goombah?
(Acid washes his hands.)
Acid: Get the hell out of my face, Joey Palooka.
Joey: Why, I oughta... dat's it! I'm gonna!
(He tackles Acid and starts hitting him with right hands. Acid fights back and tries to throw Joey into the stall door, but Joey kicks him and rams him headfirst into the door. Acid falls to the floor.)
Joey: You shoulda let me wash my hands!
(He rubs his hands all over Acid's face, and Acid starts to sputter.)
Joey: And next time, I'll break your knees!
(He retrieves his skateboard from the baby changing station and leaves.)
(Meanwhile, Bill Bicknell is standing by with the UK Wrecking Crew.)
Bill: I'm here with the MECCA Tag Team Champions, the UK Wrecking Crew. Guys, in just a few days at Summer Showdown, you have a rematch against Ronin Fox and Alan Mayse for your tag titles. How do you feel when you step into the ring with two men of their caliber?
Nathans: We feel the same as any other time we step in the ring with two men. In case you haven't noticed, Bill, we have not been beaten! And make no mistake, we did beat Ronin Fox and Alan Mayse last week. If they're good at nothing else, it's complaining. That's the only reason they're getting another shot at our belts.
Fletcher: Fox, Mayse, you two are world-class wrestlers. But together, you cannot beat us. No one can. The only thing you can hope for is to be another notch on our belts. When it's all said and done, we will be the greatest tag team in the world, if we're not already. And you two are just another stepping stone onto that plateau.
Bill: There you have it, the UKWC is ready for action at Summer Showdown. Let's go back to the arena for our main event!
(In the arena, "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)
David: What was that all about with Joey Sprinklers and Trent Acid?
Dick: I don't know, but if I know Joey, he's already issued a challenge. And after what he did to Acid, Acid's going to be looking to murder him.
David: We're ready for our six-man main event, as Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring. He has a big Anything Goes Match with Cynric coming up at Summer Showdown.
Dick: Once and for all, we'll find out who is the better man. Those two will be willing to use any means available to ascertain victory.
("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)
David: Low Ki will main event Summer Showdown by going for the MECCA Championship against Nykk in a Submission Match.
Dick: Low Ki asked for it last week, and he got it. He definitely deserves it. Not only has he beaten Nykk recently, but he's also been on the Contender Star since its inception and has not yet received a title match.
David: We'll be right back with this six-man war. Don't go away!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Miseria Cantare" is playing, and C.M. Punk is joining Stone and Low Ki in the ring.)
David: We're back, and former MECCA Champion C.M. Punk is out here to complete one half of our main event.
Dick: He has a match against his former stablemate Jay Crowe in just a few days, but he has to still be sore at losing to Nykk in his rematch for the title last week.
("Destroy" hits and Nykk, Ronin Fox and Cynric make their way to the ring.)
David: Here comes the contingent of Nykk, Ronin Fox and Cynric... we're never really sure just how well Nykk and Fox are getting along these days, but you can't deny that this is a formidable combination.
Dick: Fox isn't involved with any of his opponents currently, in fact having a tag title match at Summer Showdown against the UKWC, but you can bet he hasn't forgotten the match against Low Ki that never happened back at the MECCA Challenge.
(FINISH: Fox hits the Tail End on Punk and covers, but Low Ki breaks it up with a kick to the head. Cynric launches Ki across the ring with a rolling koppo kick as Nykk hits Stone with a pescado on the outside. Fox and Punk get up and exchange rights, but Punk knees Fox in the midsection. He whips him into the ropes, but Fox reverses and Ki makes the blind tag. Punk slides between Fox's legs and Low Ki kicks him in the face. Punk gives Fox a high angle backdrop suplex, and Low Ki jumps to the top rope, hitting a phoenix 450. He covers, and Punk takes out Cynric as Low Ki gets the three count.)
Winners: Low Ki, C.M. Punk and Kevin Stone
David: Low Ki and his crew get one up on their opponents heading into Summer Showdown. That's going to be a show you won't want to miss, and it happens this Saturday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. For Dick Broccoli, I'm David Mills. We'll see you then!
