("Neocon" opening.)
David: We're hot off the heels on perhaps the most shocking night in MECCA's short history, Liberty or Death! This is Go Time, from right here in Columbus, Ohio, and I'm David Mills along with Dick Broccoli and the big news is that we have a new MECCA Champion, and it's Nykk!
Dick: Punk never dreamed that Nykk would ask for his title shot at the end of the main event this past Saturday, but Nykk managed to beat Punk and capture the MECCA Championship. C.M. Punk will be here tonight, and you can bet he'll have something to say about this.
David: In addition, we have a Ladies' Title Match, as Shadow defends against Kelly Schweickart, and in the main event is a rematch from Liberty or Death as Kevin Stone takes on Cynric.
("Miseria Cantare" hits and C.M. Punk makes his way to the ring.)
David: It looks like Punk isn't going to wait to vent about his loss at Liberty or Death.
Dick: You have to admit, Nykk's challenge did catch him offguard, but he agreed to it and paid the price.
David: By virtue of his victory over Low Ki earlier, Nykk earned the right to challenge for the MECCA Championship whenever he chose, and he chose the end of the eight-man tag, which saw Spanky and Cheesecake of the Eccentric Alliance come out victorious over SELF.
(Punk gets a mic.)
Punk: As I have tried to explain since this past Saturday... I am still YOUR MECCA Champion! Nykk may carry the belt, but he is not the real champion! He may have tricked me into accepting his challenge right then and there, but I assure you that I will reclaim what is rightfully mine in short order. I'll speak to Nykk after my match; get my opponent out here so I can get this over with!
("Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers makes his way to the ring.)
David: Joey Sprinklers picked the wrong night to mess with C.M. Punk. Considering he hasn't won a match yet, I think the result here is going to be fairly obvious.
Dick: Joey looks a little apprehensive and I don't blame him. You might want to take a powder on this one, pal.
(FINISH: Punk dominates the match and finishes Joey off with the Pepsi Plunge. At the two count, he pulls Joey up and locks in the Anaconda Vice. Joey quickly taps out, but Punk doesn't release the hold.)
Winner: C.M. Punk
David: Punk is the winner, and he's not about to let go of that hold.
Dick: He's pissed, and he's taking it out on Joey.
(Nykk comes out with a mic, and the MECCA Championship over his shoulder.)
Nykk: All right, Punk, that's enough.
David: It's the new MECCA Champion!
Nykk: If I'm not mistaken, it's this belt over my shoulder that you want, not Joey.
(Punk finally lets up and gets up to stare at Nykk.)
Nykk: I understand that you've now taken my place on the Contender Star, and that means you're entitled to a rematch. Believe me, I'm not through with you yet either. I will not rest until I have made you tap out to the Cedarleaf, and I plan to do just that right here next week! Because it will be C.M. Punk challenging me, Nykk, for the MECCA Championship!
David: Whoa!
Dick: Wow, Nykk's first title defense so soon?
Nykk: And you had better be prepared, Punk, because we know that this Alpha Wolf can hunt... the proof is right here. The question is, next week... can you do the same?
("Destroy" plays as Punk yells obscenities at Nykk. Nykk holds up the belt and then leaves.)
David: That's huge, a rematch between Nykk and C.M. Punk right here next week!
Dick: Nykk seems like he's not going to let the title win go to his head. He plans on taking on any challengers.
David: Speaking of challengers, we understand that the number one contenders for the tag titles, the Pyro Twins, are arriving at the building. Take it away, Bill Bicknell.
(In the parking lot, Bill Bicknell is standing by with the Pyro Twins.)
Bill: Jay, Dusty, you have to be ecstatic that the UK Wrecking Crew retained the MECCA Tag Team Titles at Liberty or Death, because now that means you get a title shot.
Jay: To say that we're a little bit overconfident right now would be an understatement, Bill. We've been waiting for this for months, and now we'll settle who the best tag team in the indies is... Nathans and Fletcher, or Crowe and Schneble.
Dusty: UKWC, you may be undefeated in the tag team ranks, and good for you. You've earned your reputation as the dominant tag team champions. But soon, you'll step into the ring with the firestarters themselves. And when we have those tag team belts... we're... what the hell is this!?
(The camera pans over to see Nathans and Fletcher standing by Dusty's car, zipping up their pants.)
Nathans: Jay, Dusty, we just wanted to come out here and show you what we think of the Pyro Twins' reputation as a dominant tag team. Yes, we just pissed on your car, just like we'll piss all over you after we're done with you.
Dusty: You son of a...
(He attacks Nathans, and Jay attacks Flether. They brawl around Dusty's car, and Fletcher ends up being backdropped onto the hood. Officials step in to separate the two teams after about a minute of brawling.)
Bill: It's broken down out here... this tag title match is going to be a war. We'll be right back with more action.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Entre dos Tierras" hits and Kaientai Deluxe make their way to the ring, along with David Caldwell.)
David: Well, I guess we had to come down sometime. We just heard before the break that Nykk vs. Punk for the title is next week, but here comes that idiot David Caldwell with his charges, Dick Togo and Men's Teioh.
Dick: They're just recently making their return, as a myriad of injuries has kept them out of action for a few months. Now they're trying to get back into the swing of things.
("Sweet Dreams" hits and Dreamo and Delirious make their way to the ring, along with Medea Knight.)
David: He's tweakin' out!
Dick: KDX just can't get away from these Eccentrics, can they?
David: It was David Caldwell who made it his mission to eradicate the Eccentrics. When he left, there were two, and now there are seven. Fat lot of good he did.
(FINISH: Delirious hits a double dropkick on Togo and Teioh, and goes for the tag, but Dreamo's asleep on the apron. Delirious tags him anyway, and Togo and Teioh prepare for the house of fire from the hot tag, but none comes. Togo shrugs and rolls Dreamo into the ring, covering him. At two, Medea sets off the alarm clock, and Dreamo kicks out. He lays into Togo and Teioh and gives Togo a hiptoss off the ropes. He DDTs Teioh and signals for the Dream Sequence, pausing to yawn right afterward. Togo attacks from behind and Delirious rejoins the fray. During the brawl, Dreamo misses a dropkick from the second rope, and Togo gives him a Saito suplex, dropping him on his head. He covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: Kaientai Deluxe
David: KDX is victorious in their first tag match back, and it looks like Dreamo and Delirious have a ways to go if they want to partner up regularly.
Dick: They have a ways to go until sanity.
David: We'll be right back with a little surprise for those of you who didn't join us at Liberty or Death.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Wherever I May Roam" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)
David: You hear the music, and it's no joke. Ronin Fox is back from the injured list, and this past Saturday beat Trent Acid at Liberty or Death.
Dick: Fox is psyched to be back, and he's set to address the crowd.
(Fox gets a mic.)
Fox: It looks like I've been missing for a while, huh? I turn my back to rehab my leg for two seconds, and all of a sudden, MECCA is up and running and it looks like no one can stop it! I want to thank all you fans for your support the past few months, as well as for the emails asking when I'd be back. Your insistence that I perform is one of the things that helped me to recover faster. Now, it looks like we've got a Contender Star established... you know, I was the only guy to beat Punk in the Round Robin, and I was going to try and parlay that into a title shot, but it looks like Nykk pretty much shot that notion dead. So what I'm going to do now is get on that Contender Star. Punk, Eddie, Kevin, Alan, and especially you, Low Ki... you all better watch out, because one of those spots will be mine. Now, I know I missed MECCA's big show, the MECCA Challenge, and I want to make it up to all of you as soon as possible. That's why I...
("Ironman" interrupts Fox and the UK Wrecking Crew make their way to the ring. Nathans has a mic.)
Nathans: Aw, Fox, how sweet of you to come out here and thank all the fans. It was very touching, but let's get back to what the people came to see. You come out here and talk about what you're going to do, but what about what we've done since you've been gone? We've never lost a tag team match! We've held these titles since the MECCA Challenge, and no one has even come close to taking them from us!
Fox: Wait... who are you two, again?
Fletcher: You know damn well who we are, Fox, and in case you haven't noticed, one of the most ingenious ploys ever has just taken place. You see, the Pyro Twins could have had their shot at us, but they blew it when they attacked us in the parking lot! We were not inside the arena at a wrestling event... therefore, the Pyro Twins are now in police custody! And after we get a restraining order applied against them, they won't be able to come within fifty feet of us... therefore, no title match for the Pyro Twins.
David: What!? Of all the dirty, cowardly...
Dick: That was pretty smart, I thought.
(The UKWC slide into the ring.)
Fletcher: Fox, in case you haven't noticed, we have these titles and you don't have anything. That means that this is our time, so you have a choice... you either get out, or we throw you out.
(Fox pretends to think for a minute, and then clocks Fletcher. Nathans attacks him and he and Fox brawl. Fletcher gets up and helps Nathans double team Fox. Nathans powerbombs Fox, and then hangs him upside down. Fletcher bounces off the ropes and dropkicks Fox in the face. They let him fall to his stomach and then hit the Wrecking Ball. They grab the tag belts and celebrate.)
David: What was the point of that? The UK Wrecking Crew are just deliberately creating chaos out here!
Dick: They're still feeling the rush of outsmarting the Pyro Twins once again.
(Suddenly, Alan Mayse runs out from the back and gives Nathans a springboard dropkick. He tells Fletcher to bring it, and Fletcher charges him. Alan catches him and hits an exploder suplex. He goes for the Tiger Bomb, but Nathans grabs Fletcher's foot and drags him from the ring.)
David: Alan Mayse still wants those tag team titles, even though he's failed with two partners. It's interesting that he would come out and help Fox when Fox named him as a target moments ago.
Dick: Alan's strange like that.
(Alan helps Fox up as "Seven Nation Army" plays.)
David: If Alan's looking for a new partner, Fox would certainly be a great choice. When we come back the Ladies' Title is on the line. Don't miss it.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart makes her way to the ring.)
David: We're back, and it's official. Not only do we have a Nykk vs. Punk main event for next week, but during the break Ronin Fox and Alan Mayse made the challenge to the UK Wrecking Crew. We'll have a tag team title match next week as well!
Dick: That's big news. The UK Wrecking Crew have accepted the challenge from Fox and Mayse.
David: Now why couldn't they be that eager to give the Pyro Twins their title match? Are they perhaps scared of Jay and Dusty?
Dick: The Pyro Twins had their shot, and they blew it.
David: Right now, we've got a Ladies' Title Match, as Shadow will be forced to defend against someone who isn't in the Dangerous Liaison.
Dick: Kelly's learned a lot here in MECCA, but I don't think she's quite yet up to taking down Shadow.
("Queen Bee" hits and Shadow makes her way to the ring.)
David: The Ladies' Champion is set to defend, and you know that Lisa Letty has to be waiting anxiously for the outcome of this one.
Dick: She would love to get her rematch against Shadow, but if Kelly wins the title, will she go after her first or wait?
(FINISH: Shadow whips Kelly into a corner and charges, but Kelly gets an elbow up. She staggers Shadow and then hits a wheel kick. She goes to the top rope and hits the Kelly Cyclone. She gets a close two count, as Shadow kicks out. Kelly whips Shadow into the ropes, but Shadow reverses. She puts her head down, and Kelly kicks her in the face. She tries a clothesline, but Shadow ducks and debuts the Skullbuster, a backwards jawbreaker. She applies the Dragon Sleeper and falls back into a bodyscissors. After a few moments, Kelly taps out.)
Winner: Shadow
David: Shadow retained her title after rattling Kelly with the Skullbuster and then locking in that dragon sleeper.
Dick: And she did it fair and square. Are you happy?
David: No interference needed, though she had some close calls. I wouldn't be surprised if Kelly got a rematch sooner rather than later.
Dick: This was her first title opportunity, and it could have affected her nerves just a bit. It wouldn't be the first time that's happened to a competitor.
David: When we come back, we'll have our main event. Kevin Stone will take on Cynric!
(Commercial Break) (Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Spanky.)
Bill: Spanky, at Liberty or Death you survived the big eight-man tag against SELF, along with Cheesecake. You've shown everyone time in and time out that you have what it takes to wear gold here in MECCA, but you always seem to be just below the radar in terms of the Contender Star.
Spanky: That's true, Bill, and believe me, that's also going to change soon. I'm looking to get on the Contender Star, and...
(Suddenly, Eddie Crowe attacks from behind. He shoves Spanky into some lockers and pummels him with right hands and then knees him in the face. He then takes a chair and blasts Spanky into the face. He grabs the mic from Bill.)
Eddie: Give me that! Spanky, you've done it now. No one embarrasses me the way you did at Liberty or Death! If you want to do something about what I just did, then meet me in the ring sometime!
(He throws the mic down and leaves.)
(In the arena, "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)
David: Eddie just got some payback for suffering the pinfall from Spanky at Liberty or Death, but it's time for our main event.
Dick: Stone beat Cynric under dastardly circumstances, as you would say, this past Saturday. You have to admit, this new attitude has done wonders for his career.
David: They have, but it's just a matter of time until he goes too far and someone really gets hurt.
("Soul Creation" hits and Cynric runs to the ring. He goes after Stone as the bell rings.)
David: We're not wasting any time. This match is starting now!
(FINISH: Cynric and Stone brawl a lot, and it never really settles down into an actual match. Eventually it spills outside, where they battle back up to the stage. Kevin blocks a kick from Cynric and strikes him in the face. He lifts him up and rams him into some scaffolding. He then rips one of the fluorescent lights off the scaffolding and breaks it over Cynric's head, shattering it. A slew of officials and refs run out to stop the match.)
David: This is getting out of hand! Kevin just broke a fluorescent light over Cynric's face, and there's shattered glass everywhere.
(Kevin picks up another light, but Ronin Fox suddenly runs out and checks on his brother as officials hold Kevin back. Kevin blasts David Bowers with a right hand, and then kicks Keith Young in the stomach. He hits another official, and Fox tackles him into the scaffolding. He hits him with furious rights, but Kevin gets the better of him. He picks him up in a military press and throws him off the stage and onto the concrete below. He turns around and comes face to face with Katie Piehl.)
Dick: He wouldn't...
David: Stone has lost it. Get away from him, Katie!
(Katie starts to back off, but Stone grabs her by the throat. He lifts her into the air and then gives her the Stone Cutter on the stage.)
David: No!
Dick: I can't believe he...
(The announcers scatter as Kevin comes over and tears up the announcing booth. He then walks backstage as Bowers and Young come to. They go over to check on Katie. They can be heard talking.)
Bowers: What did he do, hit her?
Young: He did a Stone Cutter!
Bowers: What!?
Young: He gave her the Stone Cutter!
Bowers: Get some help out here!
