(A video plays, recapping the matches from Punked Out.)
("Neocon" opening.)
David: We are coming hot off the heels of Punked Out, where C.M. Punk successfully defended the MECCA Championship for the first time. Welcome to Go Time, everyone, from Indianapolis, Indiana. I'm David Mills, and this is Dick Broccoli.
Dick: Punked Out was off the charts, but it's time to move on to our next pay-per-view, coming up on June 25, Midsummer Night Slam. Tonight, we have a most... unique match in store for the fans. It will be an eight-man tag, as the Eccentric Alliance teams together as a complete unit for the first time to face Joey Sprinklers, Trent Acid and the Ballard Brothers.
David: Also, Nykk will be here, along with news about the next challenger for the MECCA Championship. There will be much more, including a Ladies' Title defense right now!
("Brackish" hits and Gail Kim makes her way to the ring.)
David: Lisa Letty successfully defended her Ladies' Title yet again this past Saturday, but there's no rest for the weary.
Dick: Gail Kim scored the fall over Shadow in that tag match at Punked Out, which is why she's being awarded this title shot.
("Edge of Seventeen" hits and Lisa Letty makes her way to the ring.)
David: Lisa Letty has been facing all comers for the Ladies' Title, and she has been a proud champion.
Dick: She defended it once against Gail Kim, but can Kim take advantage of Letty's exhaustion from her match with Misery just three days ago?
(FINISH: Lisa goes for the Letty Stretch, but Kim counters into a backdrop. She goes to the second rope and gives Lisa a Tornado DDT, covering for a two count. She sets up Lisa for the Christo, but Lisa counters with a sidewalk slam. She picks Kim up and gives her the Letty Driver, covering for the three count.)
Winner: Lisa Letty
David: Lisa picks up the victory, and shows why she's on top of the ladies' division here in MECCA.
(Lisa holds up the belt, but LuFisto suddenly runs down and attacks her from behind. The Dangerous Liaison stomps on Lisa and then picks her up, dropping her with a German suplex/neckbreaker combo. Misery suddenly runs out and pushes Kim and LuFisto off of Lisa.)
Dick: What's going on here? Is Misery actually showing some respect for her opponent from Punked Out?
(The Dangerous Liaison intimidates Misery, who gets on the apron. Suddenly, they move to the side and Misery slingshots in, hitting Lisa with Miserable Times.)
David: Oh, it was a ruse! Misery apparently isn't finished with Lisa Letty.
(LuFisto gets a mic.)
LuFisto: As you've just seen, Lisa, your problems with the Dangerous Liaison have only just begun. We will not rest until that title is off of you, and we don't care which one of us has to do it!
("Fell in Love with a Girl" plays as the Dangerous Liaison leaves.)
David: I guess this means that Misery has officially joined the Dangerous Liaison. They're obsessed with beating Lisa Letty for that title.
Dick: The group has just gotten stronger, and it wouldn't surprise me to see Lisa lose the belt sooner rather than later, with three hitwomen after her.
David: We have to take a break, but up next is that eight-man tag. Don't go away!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "I've Got the Power" hits and Katie Piehl steps out from behind the curtain.)
Katie: How are you all doing tonight, ladies and gentlemen? Don't worry, I won't take up too much of your time. Thanks to each and every one of you, MECCA is now up and has hit the ground running! We had a very successful pay-per-view with the MECCA Challenge, and another great event in Punked Out this past Saturday. From the bottom of our hearts, we here at the Midwestern Establishment of Competitive Combat Arts thank you. Now, we are heading into our third pay-per-view event on June 25, Midsummer Night Slam, which will take place at the Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago Ridge, Illinois! First up, there will be a tag title defense from the UK Wrecking Crew, and I've set a match to determine the number one contenders, which will take place in the main event tonight. It will be Cynric and Kevin Stone vs. The Pyro Twins.
David: That is a big match, with big stakes. Who will go on to face the UKWC at Midsummer Night Slam?
Katie: As for our heavyweight champion... As you know, we have this Contender Star, with five worthy adversaries. But who will take up the mantle of challenger? Nykk is anxiously awaiting his rematch from the MECCA Challenge, and Alan Mayse would certainly like another shot after this past Saturday. And though he denies it, I'm sure even Eddie Crowe would like to get a shot at the MECCA Championship. Since Cynric will be getting an opportunity to wrestle for the tag titles, that leaves the Contender Star with four candidates. So next week, there will be a Four Way Elimination Match, and the winner will get a shot at C.M. Punk on June 25... Nykk vs. Low Ki vs. Eddie Crowe vs. Alan Mayse! That's all I have for you, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy the rest of the show!
(She leaves as "Hit That" hits. Joey Sprinklers leads the way to the ring, skateboarding down with Trent Acid and the Ballard Brothers following him.)
David: Here's an eclectic group.
Dick: Does this match really belong here? Does anyone really want to see all four Eccentrics in the ring at the same time?
David: The fans apparently want it, judging by merchandise sales.
("La Macarena" hits and the Eccentric Alliance make their way to the ring, doing the Macarena.)
Dick: What the hell is that?
David: I believe it's called the Macarena.
Dick: I hate that song! This isn't 1996 anymore!
David: The Eccentrics are living it up la vida loca here in Indianapolis!
Dick: Just shut up. Don't talk.
(The bell rings, and Delirious goes completely bonkers. He runs around the ring screaming, and eventually wanders over toward Shannon Ballard, who just breaks away and runs. Delirious chases him up the aisle and they disappear behind the curtain. Ballard's team looks after him, yelling for him to come back. All three get hit with simultaneous dropkicks from Huh, Cheesecake and Spanky. Shane and Acid go through the ropes as Huh grabs a headlock on Joey. He whips Huh into the ropes and gets sent down with a shoulderblock. Huh bounces off the ropes and Joey drops down. He leapfrogs Huh on the rebound, and then does it again. Huh bounces off the ropes once more and Joey leapfrogs again. Joey spreads his arms in a WTF gesture, but Huh keeps charging. Joey leapfrogs him again, and again. Finally, Huh stops and tells Joey it's his turn. He bends over, and Joey gets an evil look on his face. He loads up his boot and bounces off the ropes, but Huh catches him with a back body drop. He clotheslines Joey and tags Cheesecake. They whip Joey into the ropes and give him a double looper. Cheesecake covers and gets a one count. Joey gives Cheesecake a thumb to the eye and tags in Acid. Acid hits Cheesecake with right hands and whips him into the ropes, giving him a hard clothesline. He goes for the Shovel Driver, but Cheesecake escapes and grabs a waistlock. He lifts Acid and slams him to the mat, applying a full nelson and riding him. Acid tries desperately to escape, but Cheesecake rides him hard. Finally, Acid gets a foot on the ropes and Cheesecake has to let up. Acid charges Cheesecake but receives a spinebuster. Cheesecake pins down Acid's hands and straddles him for the cover and gets a two count when Acid bridges up. Cheesecake seems like he's enjoying it a little too much and thrusts downward to break Acid's bridge. He gets another two count and Acid bridges up again. Cheesecake tries to get him down again, but Acid won't go, and Cheesecake just straddles him, looking like he's in heaven. Cheesecake tries one more time, but Acid gets his feet under him and monkey flips Cheesecake. Acid goes for the Yakuza Kick, but Cheesecake ducks under it and whips Acid into the corner. He gives him a reverse avalanche, really grinding his rear end into Acid. Acid slumps down, and Cheesecake gives him a bronco buster, and then tags Spanky in. As Spanky hits Acid with rights, Huh hands Cheesecake a cigarette and lights it for him. Cheesecake enjoys his post-coital smoke as Spanky gives Acid an enzugiri. He goes for Sliced Bread #2, but Acid throws him off and tags in Shane Ballard. Shane knees Spanky in the midsection a few times and whips him into the ropes. Spanky slides under his legs and grabs his arms, rolling him up in a cradle for a two count. He gives Shane a swinging neckbreaker and tags Huh back in. They give Shane a double flapjack onto the ropes, and Huh gives him a bulldog. He whips Shane into the ropes and puts his head down, but Shane kicks him and gives him a back elbow. Suddenly, Shannon runs back out with Delirious in hot pursuit. They roll into the ring, and Shannon accidentally runs into Shane. Shane falls over a crouching Huh, and Huh rolls him up for a two count. Huh DDTs Shane as Delirious finally gets in the corner and begs for the tag, hopping up and down. Huh tags him, and Delirious gives him a spinning heel kick. He beats his own chest and whips Shane into the corner. Shane falls down, and Delirious gives him the Panic Attack. He then decides to go over and fight the other three members of the team, but they get the better of him and Shane comes over and rams Delirious's head into Acid's boot. Acid tags back in and goes to work kicking Delirious's midsection.)
David: It looks like Delirious is in trouble, but we have to take a break. More of the Eccentric Alliance when we return!
(Commercial Break)
(Joey has Delirious in a figure four, but he reaches the ropes. Joey lets up on the hold and goes to lift Delirious, but he clings to the ropes desperately. Joey tries pulling him off and stomps his hands, but Delirious has a hold of the ropes by his teeth. He stomps Delirious's skull and lifts him, hitting a butterfly suplex. He covers and gets a two count. He gives Delirious a powerbomb and applies a single leg crab. Delirious makes it to the ropes and Joey pulls him off. Delirious tries an enzugiri, but Joey ducks and drops an elbow on the back of his head. He tags Shannon in, and they whip Delirious into the ropes. They go for a double clothesline, but Delirious ducks and hits a double dropkick on the rebound. Shannon tags Acid, and Delirious tags Cheesecake. Cheesecake wiggles his hips suggestively at Acid, who throws his hands up and says the hell with it. He tags Shane in and leaves the ring, heading for the locker room. Shane charges Cheesecake and gets sent down with a back elbow and a clothesline, followed by a falling headbutt. He gives Shannon a hiptoss and gives Joey a drop toehold into Shannon in a 69 position. He gives Shane a gourdbuster down on top of Joey's ass, forming the Nutstacker. The three realize what it looks like they're doing and scramble away. Cheesecake tags Huh and gives Joey a back suplex. The Eccentrics give Shane the Eccentric Chair and Huh covers, but Shannon breaks it up. Spanky and Delirious come in, and Delirious goes nuts again, chasing Shannon. Shannon just gives up and flees from the ring, his brother following and trying to convince him to come back. That leaves Joey in the ring with all four. Spanky gives him Sliced Bread #2 with such force that Joey somersaults backwards to his feet. Cheesecake and Delirious give him a Long Kiss Goodnight/Shadows over Hell combo, and then Huh goes up top and hits the moonsault, covering for the three count.)
Winners: The Eccentric Alliance
David: The Eccentric Alliance is successful!
Dick: But they... what... they pinned the illegal... ah, the hell with it. Who cares?
(Spanky, Cheesecake and Huh lead the fans in the Macarena while Delirious jogs an endless lap around the three.)
David: We'll be seeing a lot more of these four, much to the chagrin of my colleague. When we come back, Nykk will be here. Stay tuned!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)
David: If Nykk looks like he has an extra spring in his step, it's because he's vindicated himself in a way at Punked Out. He beat the previously unbeaten Eddie Crowe, and really laid a big beating on him in the process.
Dick: We know that Nykk takes joy in others' suffering, but he took it too far. After the match was over, he locked in the Cedarleaf and nearly broke Eddie's back with it.
David: It was because of Eddie Crowe that Nykk's longtime friends the Pyro Twins betrayed him and joined SELF. Nykk wanted to administer his own kind of justice to Eddie, and he did it.
Nykk: For a guy who's always been known to be in a bad mood and a big jerk to everyone, I'm walking on sunshine right now. Yes, hopefully you all saw what happened at Punked Out. I took a rookie and I had him begging for mercy by the night's end. Because you see, Eddie, that's what experience can allow you to do. I'm sure you've learned all sorts of tricks from Punk, but the best tricks are those you learn from suffering at the hands of your adversaries. I will say, however, that you promised me a big fight, and you definitely brought the big fight. It wasn't a night off for me, but in the end, Nykk wins. And now that you're off my conscience, I can get back to concentrating on what's important. The MECCA Championship. Next week, I have the opportunity to get another shot at C.M. Punk and the title that I was denied at the MECCA Challenge. Eddie, you may be on the Contender Star, and you wouldn't be there if you hadn't earned it, but do you honestly think Punk is going to let you have a shot at his title if you win this? If you do, then maybe you haven't learned as much as I thought. Alan, you and I have had an understanding in the past few weeks. But next week, that all goes out the window, and you will find yourself up against the same Nykk that terrorized you in RCW. You came close at Punked Out, and I know you're itching to prove you can win the MECCA Championship... but it's not your time. And Low Ki... you know, a month ago you came out and assaulted me right before my big match with Punk. Next week, I look forward to paying you back in kind. Only it won't be you facing Punk, it's...
("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)
David: Uh oh... I didn't know Low Ki was even here tonight.
Dick: We may have seen the last of Nykk. Low Ki wasn't about to let him run him down like he did everyone else in that match.
Low Ki: Excuse me for interrupting... but I've been sitting in the back, listening to you brag about taking down Eddie Crowe on Saturday, and I'm sick of it. You act like this one victory is the greatest thing in the world. No... Low Ki is the greatest thing in this world. Next week, I have the same opportunity you do, to go to Midsummer Night Slam and face...
Nykk: Excuse ME for interrupting! You know, Low Ki, you've got a lot of balls to come out here, for a guy who hasn't been showing up at work for a month after losing to Alan Mayse at the MECCA Challenge... you're lucky you even have this match. If I had my way, you'd be gone from this promotion, especially since it occurs to me that this is the second time you've confronted me, not to mention the beating you gave me last time. And when you debuted here in MECCA, I was one of the first guys you attacked, so it occurs to me... maybe you have something you'd like to say to me directly.
Low Ki: All right. Nykk, you represent what I hate and loathe in this business. You started in the main event scene in a promotion run by your friend, then you do the same with MECCA, taking a top spot best reserved for those who paid their dues... like me. As far as I'm concerned, you're just a fan in wrestling tights. And I intend to prove it next week when I win this Four Way Dance, by eliminating you. As far as I'm concerned, the sooner you're out of this ring, and back in the stinking, festering, sweating and gluttonous crowd, the happier I'll be.
Nykk: So that's what it's all about? I may have skipped on paying the dues you did, but I think these people would more than agree that with the matches I've put on and the work I've put in, that my track record speaks for itself. And if you don't like it, then too bad. Because I'm not going anywhere, and next week, I will win the Four Way Dance. Regardless of what you think of me, I am a threat to you and next week, you'll learn that the hard way.
(He slaps Low Ki with his microphone. Low Ki tries a roundhouse kick, but Nykk ducks and tackles Low Ki, hitting him with rights.)
David: Here we go, we knew it was just a matter of time!
(Low Ki covers up and wraps his legs around Nykk, slowly choking his midsection and taking the breath from him. Nykk finally headbutts Low Ki and he lets go. Nykk bounces off the ropes and sends him down with a leg lariat. He goes to the top rope, but Low Ki crotches him. He hangs Nykk in a tree of woe outside the ring and starts kicking him in the head mercilessly.)
David: My God, he's going to cave in Nykk's skull!
(Referees come down to pull Low Ki off, but he just keeps kicking Nykk until he's hanging upside down, unconscious. Finally, the refs tell him if he doesn't stop, he's out of the Four Way. Low Ki spits at Nykk and walks away.)
Dick: Low Ki just took out his frustrations on Nykk! He's out.
David: He looks in bad shape. Will he be able to make it to the Four Way Dance next week?
(The refs get Nykk down from the tree of woe and help him to the back.)
(Backstage, Cynric and Kevin Stone are walking down the hall.)
Cynric: After tonight, we're going to beat the undefeated Fletcher and Nathans and take those belts. You with me, partner?
Kevin: I always have been. You're right, Cynric. We're the best damn team in MECCA, and it's a pity I didn't get here before the International Invitational started, because there would have been a much different result if we had faced the UKWC.
(They come across the Pyro Twins.)
Jay: You think so, Kevin? That may be true, and it may not be, but we're not going to find out at Midsummer Night Slam. You see, last Saturday at Punked Out, we blew up that trophy that the UK Wrecking Crew cherished so much. And at Midsummer Night Slam, we're going to do what has not yet been done and that’s hand them their first defeat.
Dusty: You two may think you're hot stuff. Big Kevin, overpowering everybody... Cynric, kicking ass with his martial arts training... but you see, there's hot stuff and then there's really hot stuff. (points to himself and Jay) We have this issue with Fletcher and Nathans, but if we have to go through you two to get to them, then prepare to be destroyed like so many others were before you. We'll see you in the ring.
(The Pyro Twins leave.)
Cynric: I'll tell you what, Kevin. Even though I was excluded from the Four Way Dance next week, this is going to be pretty sweet.
(Kevin nods in agreement.)
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)
David: It's time for the tag team main event here on Go Time, and this match will determine the number one contenders for the tag titles, and face the UK Wrecking Crew at Midsummer Night Slam on June 25.
Dick: The Pyro Twins want at the UKWC in the worst way, and even went so far as to blow up the World Cup this past Saturday.
David: We understand Fletcher and Nathans didn't show up tonight out of protest for the loss of their trophy.
("Soul Creation" hits and Cynric and Kevin Stone make their way to the ring.)
David: Cynric is joined here in MECCA by his tag team partner Kevin Stone, and it's unfortunate they weren't around for the International Invitational. I would love to see how they do against our tag team champs.
Dick: They have to earn their title opportunity first, and they have that chance right now.
(FINISH: Kevin gets the hot tag and bowls through Jay with a shoulder block. He gives him some rights and whips him into the ropes, giving him a sidewalk slam. He clotheslines Dusty and then lifts Jay in a military press. He takes down Dusty with a big boot before dropping Jay into a powerslam. He covers, but Dusty makes the save. Cynric comes back in, but Dusty gives him the Rope Burn. He and Jay whip Kevin into the ropes, but Kevin breaks through a double clothesline attempt and takes them down with a double shoulder tackle on the rebound. He gives Jay the Stone Cutter, and Cynric pulls Dusty out of the ring. Kevin covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: Cynric and Kevin Stone
David: The tandem of Kevin Stone and Cynric have just defeated the Pyro Twins!
Dick: I'd say that C.M. Punk won't be happy about this, but truth is, I don't think he wanted Dusty and Jay to have the title shot. We didn't see any interference by SELF members.
(Cynric and Kevin Stone hug and celebrate.)
David: Well, Stone and Cynric will face the UK Wrecking Crew on June 25. Join us again next week when we find out who goes on to face C.M. Punk at Midsummer Night Slam. Good night, fans!
