("Neocon" opening.)
David: We are just four days away from crowning the first MECCA Champion, this Saturday at the MECCA Challenge! But until then, we're glad you could join us here in Columbus, Ohio, for Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli.
Dick: And as we found out last week, the Low Ki/Ronin Fox match for the MECCA Challenge is off due to Fox's broken leg. But tonight, Katie Piehl will name a replacement for Fox, and she promises that it won't disappoint.
David: We're ready for a wild night here in MECCA!
("Fell in Love with a Girl" hits and LuFisto, Gail Kim and Misery make their way to the ring.)
David: We're kicking things off with a six-lady tag match. Of course, we all know that Gail Kim and LuFisto comprise the Dangerous Liaison, but what's Misery's association with them?
Dick: Who knows what Misery's thinking at any given time. This all came about last week, when Misery interfered on behalf of the Liaison in that tag match, which prompted Ladies' Champ Lisa Letty to come out and even the score.
("Edge of Seventeen" hits and Lisa Letty, Shadow and Kelly Schweickart make their way to the ring.)
David: This Saturday, Lisa will defend her title against LuFisto in a Hardcore Match, live on pay-per-view. This match has been four months in the making, as LuFisto felt she was robbed of the Ladies' Title on our very first show.
Dick: We could see a preview of that here tonight amidst all this six-lady action.
(The bell rings, and Lisa starts things off for her team, while Misery starts off for her team. They lock up, and Lisa goes behind to get a waistlock. Misery elbows out of it and applies an armwringer. She cranks back on Lisa's arm, but Lisa rolls through and reverses the hold. She segues into an armbar, but Misery counters with a knee to the midsection. She whips Lisa into the ropes and tries a clothesline, but Lisa counters with a crucifix that gets a one count. She sweeps Misery's leg and covers for another one count, and then rolls her up with an inside cradle for a two count. They get to their feet and Lisa yells, "Here comes three!" She ducks another clothesline and gives Misery a schoolgirl rollup for a two count. Lisa apologizes to the crowd as Misery regains her bearings. She charges Lisa but gets armdragged. Lisa sends her down with a dropkick and then tags Kelly in. They whip Misery into the ropes and give her a double back body drop. Kelly gives Misery a snap suplex near her corner and tags in Shadow. Shadow jumps to the second rope and then launches herself over the ropes with a somersault legdrop to Misery. She covers and gets a two count. She picks Misery up, but Misery rakes her eyes and tags Gail Kim. Gail charges Shadow, but gets hit with some elbow strikes. She goes for the Interceptor early, but Gail blocks it and kicks Shadow. She bounces off the ropes and hits a bulldog. She applies a crossface with Shadow's arm wrapped around Gail's own head, but Shadow manages to get to her feet. She fights out of it, but Gail rakes her in the eyes and sends her down with a clothesline. She tags LuFisto, who gives Shadow several knee strikes to the head. She tries a vertical suplex, but Shadow escapes and gives her a back suplex. She follows up with a scoop slam and a standing legdrop. She covers and gets a one count. She snapmares LuFisto over and tags Lisa. LuFisto immediately tags out to Gail. They move in to lock up, but Gail gives Lisa a drop toehold instead. She applies a front facelock, which Lisa counters into a hammerlock. Gail stands up and trips Lisa, who kicks her into her own corner. Shadow and Kelly each give Gail a right hand, and Lisa gives her a flapjack. She tags Kelly, who bounces off the ropes. Lisa gives Gail a Russian Legsweep at the same time that Kelly connects with a clothesline. Kelly covers for a two count. Kelly scoop slams Gail and goes to the top rope, but LuFisto pushes her down across the turnbuckles. Gail then walks up the ropes and gives Kelly a headscissors off the top. Gail tags Misery and they take turns stomping Kelly's head. Misery gives her a fisherman's suplex for a two count. She tags LuFisto, who goes for a powerbomb. Kelly escapes and crawls underneath LuFisto's legs to make the tag to Lisa. Lisa comes in and catches LuFisto with rights before she can escape again. She whips her into the ropes, but gets reversed. Lisa takes LuFisto over with a flying headscissors and then ducks behind her to hit a German Suplex. She goes to the top rope and hits the Letty Press, but Misery comes off the top rope with a forearm to the back of Lisa's head. Shadow and Kelly try to come in, but Gail and Misery fight them off. LuFisto makes the tag to Misery and they whip Lisa into the ropes, hitting a double back elbow. Misery drops a knee and covers for a two count.)
David: It looks like the challenger for this Saturday has isolated the champion. They're really doing a number on her, but we have to take a quick break. We'll be right back!
(Commercial Break)
(Back from the break, Gail is in the ring and applying a figure four leglock to Lisa. Lisa reaches for the ropes, but LuFisto drops to the floor and pulls the ropes out beyond her reach. Shadow comes in to protest, but referee Nikki Alvarado holds her back. That allows Misery to come in and grab Lisa by the back of the head, falling back and propping her up on her knees. LuFisto comes off the top and hits a guillotine legdrop on Lisa's head. Gail releases the figure four and covers as the ref turns around, but she only gets two. Gail tags LuFisto in and holds Lisa as LuFisto kicks her. She goes for the LuFisto Launcher, but Lisa slides off her back only to be caught with an elbow. LuFisto plants her with a powerbomb that gets two. She chokes Lisa, and Alvarado pulls her off, allowing Misery to grab Lisa by the hair and choker her across the second rope. LuFisto tags Gail back in, and she waits for Lisa to get up. She bounces off the ropes and goes for the Christo, but Lisa counters the headscissors and slams Gail's face into the mat. She crawls toward her corner, but Gail uses her long legs to scissor Lisa's foot. She reaches out and tags Misery. Misery gives Lisa an elbow drop and then sets her up for Miserable Times. Lisa escapes and gives Misery a hard right that staggers her. Misery moves back in, but Lisa puts her down with a jawbreaker. She crawls to the corner and tags Kelly. Kelly takes Misery down with a flying headscissors takeover, and then nails Kim and LuFisto with a double dropkick. She gives Misery a snap suplex and then goes to the outside, slingshotting in with a flying hilo. She gives Misery a back suplex and then goes to the top rope, hitting the Kelly Cyclone. She sees LuFisto and Kim coming in to break up the pin and takes LuFisto down with a flying forearm, and backdrops Gail over the top rope. She bounces off the ropes, and Shadow tags herself in. Kelly slides underneath Misery's legs and waistlocks her. Shadow hits Misery with the Interceptor as Kelly takes her over with a release German Suplex. Shadow covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: Lisa Letty, Shadow and Kelly Schweickart
David: Shadow picks up the victory for her team, although it seemed like Kelly had things well in hand. Nevertheless, an impressive victory for the team of Schweickart, Shadow and the Ladies' Champion.
Dick: Kelly was a house of fire, and they're still not done!
(Kelly and Shadow roll out of the ring and fight up the aisle with Kim and Misery, leaving Lisa alone in the ring. LuFisto suddenly comes in with a chair and hits Lisa across the back with it.)
David: Speaking of previews, it looks like LuFisto doesn't want to wait for this Saturday!
(LuFisto yells at Lisa and then sets up the chair. She places Lisa's head across the seat and then lays the Ladies' belt behind the chair so that Lisa is staring directly down at it. LuFisto goes to the second rope and comes off with a double stomp onto Lisa's head. She grabs the Ladies' belt and holds it high before throwing it on Lisa's prone body. "Fell in Love with a Girl" plays as LuFisto exits.)
David: LuFisto just sent one final message to Lisa before the MECCA Challenge.
Dick: She's showing why she's the First Lady of Hardcore. Lisa is in for the fight of her life on Saturday.
David: We have to take a commercial break, but when we come back, someone we haven't seen in a while returns to action.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers skateboards his way to the ring.)
David: We're back, and we're witnessing the return of Joey Sprinklers! He's been on the sidelines with an injury recently, but we're glad to have him back, however obnoxious he may be.
Dick: The kid's a tremendous athlete, and he's kind of gotten off to a bad start here in MECCA. Maybe his fortunes will change tonight.
("Pajamarama" hits and Huh makes his way to the ring.)
David: One half of the Eccentrics is on his way down, and thanks to David Caldwell and KDX last week, he's without his partner Cheesecake.
Dick: Cheesecake's at home recuperating from the attack last week, but they will take on KDX at the MECCA Challenge in four days, but KDX's chances are looking really good right now.
(FINISH: Joey goes for his skateboard, but Huh kicks him in the midsection. Joey drops the skateboard, and Huh stomps on the back end, bringing up the front to bang Joey in the shins. He limps around the ring and Huh schoolboys him for the pin.)
Winner: Huh
David: Huh picks up a singles victory thanks to that skateboard that Joey Sprinklers takes with him wherever he goes.
Dick: That was a questionable call by David Bowers. Shouldn't that skateboard shot count as a foreign object?
David: I guess since Joey brought it in, he's going to allow it... wait a minute!
(Kaz Hayashi runs down to the ring, being trailed by David Caldwell. Huh sees him coming and meets him with rights, but Togo comes in through the crowd and attacks from behind. Togo gives him a neckbreaker, and Hayashi snatches the skateboard from the fallen Joey's grasp. He gives Huh a brainbuster onto the skateboard. They then drag Huh from the ring and up the aisle, ramming him into the guardrail until they disappear into the back.)
David: KDX has just taken out the second member of the Eccentrics!
Dick: David Caldwell's not taking any chances for a big show like the MECCA Challenge.
(Joey gathers himself in the ring when "Fighter's Passion" suddenly hits.)
David: Now what?
Dick: Uh oh... Joey might think of heading for the hills!
(Low Ki comes out and stomps his way to the ring. He stalks toward Joey, but Joey backs off, pleading for his life. Low Ki stands over him, watching him cower.)
David: Low Ki is not happy that he won't be facing Fox at the MECCA Challenge, but it's a little ludicrous to accuse Fox of faking this injury just to avoid him. I know Low Ki has a high opinion of himself, but really.
Dick: As far as I'm concerned, that man can think whatever he wants. Joey had better get out of here quick.
(Joey finally looks up at Low Ki, shielding himself with his hands. However, Low Ki's smiling and offers Joey his hand. Joey reluctantly takes it, and Low Ki pulls him to his feet. He tells him he did well, and Joey loses a little of his fear. However, as he turns to leave the ring, Low Ki suddenly takes him back down and locks in the Dragon Clutch. Joey quickly taps.)
David: What's Low Ki doing!?
Dick: Whatever he wants would be my guess! He's demolishing Joey Sprinklers for no reason!
(Low Ki gets a mic.)
Low Ki: This Saturday, I was supposed to face one of the finest athletes in the independent promotions. But what I have now is an open slate!
(He kicks Joey in the spine.)
Low Ki: That pisses me off! I've been preparing for a showdown with Fox for a month now, only to get a no-show. I'm supposed to find out who his replacement is, and I haven't found out yet, which means I have only four days to prepare for this match!
(Joey tries to make a break for it, but Low Ki pulls him back in the ring and whips him into the corner, hitting a running koppo kick.)
Low Ki: I demand to be informed of my opponent right now! I am not leaving this ring until that happens!
(He drops the mic and gives Joey the Ki Krusher. As he prepares for another one, Nykk makes his way down to the ring.)
Dick: Now here comes Nykk! What's he doing?
David: Well, he is fifty-percent owner of this promotion, and Low Ki is holding up his show. We also know that he's been friendly with Joey Sprinklers in the past, so maybe he wants to help.
(Low Ki crouches in the corner, watching as Nykk helps Joey out of the ring. When he's done that, Nykk gets a mic.)
Nykk: Just one second, Low Ki. You know me. Do you really think I would let you come out here and hold up my show? Don't get me wrong. I respect you as a wrestler and performer, Ki, but I can't have you out here beating up my buddies. Let me put it to you simple: if you do it again, your new name will be Low Ki the Lower Midcarder. Got it?
Low Ki: Very funny, Nykk. Ha, ha. But you and I both know that you have no booking power anymore. And while you're fighting for the title that should be mine, I'm stuck without an opponent for MECCA's big show. Since you're here, I'll ask you. Who is my opponent?
Nykk: Look... I know you're angry, but I don't know who you're facing. Like you said, Katie has all the...
Low Ki: Do not make me repeat myself. Who is my opponent?
Nykk: All right, I see where this is going. But I'll tell you what, you're going to find me a lot harder to grind up than that kid you just spat out a few minutes ago.
(They get face to face, but "I've Got the Power" hits and Katie Piehl makes her way to the ring.)
David: Here comes the other owner of MECCA, Katie Piehl! Maybe she can calm this situation down.
Dick: I doubt it. Nykk and Low Ki are two highly volatile individuals, and they just may forget about their matches at the MECCA Challenge and tear into each other right here.
Katie: Nykk, Low Ki, in case you haven't noticed, we only have an hour of allotted time on this show, and we can't have you two wasting time like this! But since you two seem to want to go at it, and Low Ki, you want to know your opponent, I've got this in mind. In the main event tonight, Low Ki, you will team with C.M. Punk. Your opponents will be Nykk... and the man you will face at the MECCA Challenge this Saturday! If you want to know, just come back to the ring in a little while.
Low Ki: That's fine with me. No matter who my opponent is, at the MECCA Challenge, he will stare into the fangs of the demon and fall at my feet!
(He suddenly drops his mic and kicks Nykk in the thigh. Nykk goes down to his knees, and two swift kicks to the head from Low Ki send him face first to the canvas. "Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki leaves while Katie tends to Nykk, who is semi-conscious.)
David: Low Ki just laid Nykk out, and it looks like we've got a mystery partner in the main event tonight.
Dick: Whoever it is, I hope he's ready for Low Ki.
David: While Nykk gets helped out of here, at the MECCA Challenge we will see the culmination of the International Invitational for the MECCA Tag Team Titles. It has come down to Reckless Abandon, representing the US, versus the UK Wrecking Crew, representing the UK. But up next, a representative from each team will meet in singles action!
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, the Pyro Twins are sneaking around. They stop in front of a random room.)
Jay: You sure this is where he is?
Dusty: Positive. I saw him coming out of here earlier. If we jump him now, we won't have to worry about him getting his hands on Eddie at the MECCA Challenge.
Jay: Right, then we're free to destroy the UK Wrecking Crew. Let's do it.
(They swing the door open and charge inside, yelling. However, they find only an empty room waiting for them.)
Dusty: The hell?
(Suddenly, Kevin Stone and the Amazing Red attack from behind. Red rams Dusty into the wall, and then breaks a 2x4 over his back. Kevin hits Jay in the face and then rams him into some CLANGY PIPES! They survey their work, and give each other a high five before leaving the room.)
(In the arena, "Ironman" hits and Andy Nathans makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Jack Fletcher.)
David: How about that? Kevin Stone and the Amazing Red gave the Pyro Twins a taste of their own medicine.
Dick: They lured them into a trap, David! What did they do that for?
David: Oh, please. For weeks, the Pyro Twins have been gunning for Cynric and protecting Eddie. Now, Cynric and his friends have struck back.
Dick: The only reason the Pyro Twins want to get him out of Eddie's hair is so that they can go after the UK Wrecking Crew.
David: Yes, it was Fletcher and Nathans who upset the Pyro Twins in the finals of the upper brackets of the International Invitational, and they haven't shut up about it since.
Dick: And last week, they cost the Pyro Twins the finals of the lower brackets, allowing Reckless Abandon to advance to the MECCA Challenge this Saturday.
("Hybrid Stigmata" hits and Delirious makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Spanky.)
David: He's tweakin' out!
Dick: This guy needs to lay off the sugar or something.
David: Spanky and Delirous are psyched to be a part of the MECCA Challenge, because if they win against the UK Wrecking Crew, they win the tag titles and the World Cup for the good old USA.
(FINISH: Fletcher tries to get involved, but Spanky chases him away from ringside. Delirious goes to the top rope, but Nathans leans into the ropes, crotching him. He goes up for London Bridge is Falling Down, but Delirious elbows him in the head. Nathans lands on his feet on the mat, and Delirious leaps onto his shoulders. Nathans throws him off, but Delirious lands behind him and hits the Chemical Imbalance #2 for the pin.)
Winner: Delirious
David: Delirious picks up the victory, and he can only hope that he hits that move on Nathans this Saturday, because he and Spanky will become Tag Team Champions.
Dick: The UK Wrecking Crew may make a great team, but they obviously still have a lot to learn about singles action.
David: Up next, it's time for our main event. C.M. Punk teams with Low Ki to take on Nykk and whoever Ki's opponent is for the MECCA Challenge.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Miseria Cantare" is playing and C.M. Punk is in the ring.)
David: It's time for our tag team main event here on Go Time. This was set up earlier by Katie Piehl after Low Ki tried to hold up the show unless he found out who he's facing in four days at the MECCA Challenge.
Dick: The fans have here in Columbus have been buzzing about the possibilities, not to mention that there are three great wrestlers in this match that we know of, Punk, Ki and Nykk.
("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)
David: Low Ki is about to find out his opponent for the MECCA Challenge, after Ronin Fox pulled out due to his broken leg.
Dick: He nearly took Nykk's head off earlier, and I'm sure he wouldn't mind doing it again in this match.
David: Neither would Punk, since he has to face Nykk in a MECCA Challenge in four days.
("Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring, holding his head.)
David: This is the second week in a row that Nykk has had damage done to his head. Last week, it was thanks to an attack from Punk and Trent Acid. This week, he was laid out by Low Ki.
Dick: Obviously he isn't happy about that. I just wonder who his partner's going to be!
(Nykk gets a mic. He looks like he's seen a ghost.)
Nykk: Punk, in four days you and I will do battle at the MECCA Challenge... no pinfalls, no interference, no weapons, no rope breaks... one of us will emerge the MECCA Heavyweight Champion. Low Ki, earlier on you attacked me unashamedly in the middle of this ring... trust me, that's something you just don't do. After I deal with Punk, my attention turns to you. As for tonight, I can't say it's my pleasure to introduce my partner. He and I have had a bitter rivalry in the past, but he was contacted to come to MECCA just so you could have an opponent, Low Ki. However, he is a very talented wrestler, and he and I are about to take out you two jackasses and show you just what you're in store for this Saturday. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you my partner... former RCW Champion, Alan Mayse!
("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)
David: What an acquisition by Katie Piehl! Alan Mayse was the longest-reigning RCW Champion at about nine and a half months!
Dick: The entire complexion of this match has just changed. Low Ki may be questioning his own confidence now.
(Nykk hands Alan the mic.)
Alan: That's right, Low Ki. I'm Nykk's partner tonight, which means in four days, you and I take to the ring. I know you're the most intense wrestler in the world, and your feet are some of the most feared weapons in wrestling... but at the MECCA Challenge, we'll be in my hometown of Dayton, and I'll show you why I reigned so long as RCW Champion. You have only four days, Low Ki. Then I make my mark on MECCA.
(FINISH: Nykk manages to apply the Cedarleaf to Low Ki, but Punk attacks him before Low Ki can tap out. Alan comes in and hits Punk with a slingshot dropkick. He whips Punk into a corner as Low Ki hits Nykk with an undetected low blow. He intercepts Alan as he charges Punk with a spinning heel kick. Punk goes to the top rope, but Nykk runs up to meet him. He hits Punk with some right hands, but Low Ki comes over and jumps up to the second rope, kicking Nykk in the back of the head. Punk gives Nykk the Pepsi Plunge, and Low Ki covers for the three count as Punk keeps Alan from making the save.)
Winners: C.M. Punk and Low Ki
David: Punk just put Nykk down with the Pepsi Plunge, though Low Ki got the pin. What a victory by Punk and Low Ki.
Dick: They've got momentum now, and that's going to be hard to stop.
(Punk crouches down over Nykk, counting to ten with his fingers. When Nykk doesn't get up, Punk tells the crowd that the belt is coming to him.)
David: Punk just counted Nykk down. He's saying that if he hits the Pepsi Plunge on Saturday, he'll be the first MECCA Champion!
Dick: It's hard to argue with that logic. Nykk's only now just stirring.
David: Well, he won't have Low Ki to aid him this Saturday. He'll be going against Nykk one on one. We're out of time, ladies and gentlemen. Be sure to join us live on pay-per-view this Saturday for the MECCA Challenge! Nykk will face Punk for the MECCA Championship, Low Ki takes on Alan Mayse, and Reckless Abandon take on the UK Wrecking Crew for the tag titles!
Dick: In addition to that, Lisa Letty defends the Ladies' Title against LuFisto in a Hardcore Match, the Eccentrics take on KDX, and Cynric, Kevin Stone and the Amazing Red battle the Pyro Twins and Eddie Crowe from SELF.
David: We'll see you on the 30th.
