("Neocon" opening.)
David: With MECCA's first big event just four days away, the tension is running hot and heavy here in the Agora Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio. This is Go Time! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli.
Dick: And if you thought Nykk was acting strange by actually being an impartial referee last week, this week he's lost his mind! Only four days away from his first match in the Round Robin, and he's challenged his friends the Pyro Twins, who turned on him two weeks ago, to a match tonight.
David: We don't know what Nykk's thinking, and I doubt anyone ever will. Also on tap tonight will be a ladies' tag match, as LuFisto and Gail Kim go up against Shadow and the MECCA Ladies' Champion, Lisa Letty. We may see a preview of the Ladies' Title Match for Bloody Valentine. We're ready to get started, fans!
("Soul Creation" hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring.)
David: Here comes Cynric, who if the wind had blown in a different direction, probably would be in the Round Robin for the MECCA Championship right now.
Dick: But it didn't. He lost to Low Ki, and lost his chance at being the first MECCA Champion. Now what he has to do is muster up an impressive win/loss record so that he can challenge for that title when it's awarded to someone.
("Closer" hits and Trent Acid makes his way to the ring through the crowd, stopping to smoke a cigarette handed to him by a fan.)
David: Hey, come on, there's no smoking in here, Trent.
Dick: Do you know the equivalent of how many cigarettes the average wrestling fan smokes via second hand smoke in an arena full of smokers, David?
David: How many?
Dick: I don't know, I was asking you. I know you enjoy those filthy cancer sticks.
David: This isn't about me, all right? Trent Acid is an impressive wrestler and athlete, but I think his love for partying and having a good time can destroy his focus at times. He'll need all the focus he can get tonight against the disciplined Cynric.
(FINISH: Cynric bounces off the ropes and hits a rolling koppo kick onto Acid. Cynric picks him up and goes for the Shock Cannon, but Acid escapes and pushes Cynric into the turnbuckles. He goes for the Acid Bomb, but Cynric counters with a dropkick. Cynric measures Acid and then nails him with the Lift Off. He covers and gets the three count.)
Winner: Cynric
David: A decisive victory by Cynric, and Acid is left in the dust.
Dick: You know he'll be waiting in the wings to see who comes out on top of that Round Robin.
(In the locker room, the Pyro Twins are sitting on the bench looking sullen when C.M. Punk walks in.)
Punk: Hey, Pyro Twins! I hear that Nykk challenged you two to a match tonight. Why are you two so down?
Jay: Look... in case you haven't noticed, we don't like you and we don't want to be with you. Leave us alone.
Punk: Come on, guys, is that any way to talk to your new leader?
Dusty: If you think, after what you've been
Punk: Hey, hey, that's enough! You are not spoiling what I've been doing until I'm ready to reveal it to the world. If you don't want bad things to happen, you just do what I tell you to do. Tonight, you will accept Nykk's challenge, and you will do what you do best and that's cause pain and suffering. It's going to have to be a handicap match, because there's no one on this roster that will want to be Nykk's partner. I mean, what is he thinking? How stupid is he, to risk a match like this before
(Jay lunges at Punk, but Dusty holds him back.)
Dusty: Don't do it, Jay, don't!
Jay: I should tear you apart right here!
Punk: Listen to your buddy, Jay. As the franchise player of this company, I hold people's fate in my hands. To do me wrong could cause destruction beyond your worst imagining.
Jay: Fine we'll take on Nykk tonight, and we'll do what we have to do. But another time another time
(Jay walks out of the locker room. Dusty starts to follow him, but leans back to Punk.)
Dusty: I'd take care if I were you, Punk Nykk's a lot smarter than you give him credit for.
(He follows Jay out.)
(Commercial Break)
(Another video airs, hyping the debut of the UK Wrecking Crew, set to "Ironman" by Ozzy Osbourne.)
(In the arena, "Fell in Love with a Girl" hits and LuFisto and Gail Kim make their way to the ring.)
David: We've just been informed that the Pyro Twins have accepted Nykk's challenge, and apparently will meet him in a handicap match in the main event.
Dick: What is Nykk thinking? Has he lost all sense?
David: But right now, what a dangerous liaison that's on the way to the ring. The First Lady of Hardcore, LuFisto, and the Sensation of Submission, Gail Kim.
Dick: LuFisto has her eye on Lisa Letty's Ladies' Title, and will meet her in four days at Bloody Valentine, but will Gail Kim be there?
("Edge of Seventeen" hits and Lisa Letty and Shadow make their way to the ring.)
David: All four of these ladies have competed in RCW, Gail Kim very briefly, so they know each other pretty well. Shadow is RCW's Ladies' Champion, but Lisa Letty has been pretty untouchable so far here in MECCA.
Dick: It'll be your classic student vs. teacher match at Bloody Valentine, as LuFisto helped train Letty, and perhaps knows more about Lisa's wrestling ability than Lisa does.
(FINISH: Lisa gets the hot tag, and hits Gail with some fast forearms. She whips her into the ropes and hits a back elbow. She gives Gail a hurricanrana, which sends her face first into the middle turnbuckle. Lisa measures her and then hits a German suplex, bridging for a two count. She whips her into the ropes again, but it's reversed. Gail goes for a hip toss, but Lisa counters into a monkey flip. LuFisto comes in and hits a running neckbreaker on Lisa. He gets out so Gail can tag her back in, and she holds Lisa up for Gail. Gail bounces off the ropes, and Shadow comes in to hit LuFisto with elbow strikes. Gail gives Lisa a flying headscissors, segueing into the Christo. Shadow backdrops LuFisto over the top rope and crouches down behind Lisa, tripping her so that she falls backwards and gives Gail a modified Samoan drop. Shadow goes after Gail, and the ref tries to separate them. While she's distracted, LuFisto comes back in the ring with the Ladies' title belt and hits Lisa from behind. She gets rid of the evidence and covers as the ref turns around, getting the three count.)
Winners: LuFisto and Gail Kim
David: LuFisto gets the pin over the Ladies' Champion via dastardly means!
Dick: That was smart ring presence by LuFisto. She saw that referee Nikki Alvarado was tied up with Shadow and Kim, and took advantage.
David: LuFisto now has some momentum heading into Bloody Valentine this Saturday. When we come back, we'll get some thoughts from Ronin Fox on the upcoming Round Robin.
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Ronin Fox.)
Bill: Fox, in four days you and four other men will start your bid to become the first MECCA Champion, which will be decided in Round Robin fashion. Basically, you'll have to win at least three matches and avoid losing twice.
Fox: That's right, Bill, and believe me, I'm ready for it. This might just be the toughest thing I've ever done so far in my short career. Look at the list of credentials Bryan Danielson, one of the greatest technical wrestlers in the world C.M. Punk, former ROH Tag Team Champion, Low Ki, the first ROH World Champion, myself the current RCW Television Champion and my first opponent, Nykk. Current RCW Champion, and seemingly an opponent that I can't get away from. I'd like to come out here saying that I'm going to beat Nykk at Bloody Valentine, that I know what the outcome will be, but to be honest, Bill, I don't know. Nykk and I are both very unpredictable in that ring. We came up at the same time, and left a trail of destruction in our wake. He's beaten me a lot, and I've beaten him a lot. What I can assure all the fans of is this: this Saturday, it will be a hell of a contest, one that will give them their money's worth. You know, Nykk's been having his problems recently with his buddies the Pyro Twins. That's a huge advantage for me, and I will definitely make the most of it, because I don't think Nykk's head is in the game at the moment. Well, you better get your head in the game, because this is for the MECCA Championship, something you wanted to win on the very first day, Nykk. But it won't happen, because win or lose this match, I will be the MECCA Champion.
(In the arena, "Entre dos Tierras" hits and Men's Teioh makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Dick Togo and David Caldwell.)
David: Fox is confident about his chances for winning the Round Robin, but that's not the only thing of interest this Saturday. For weeks, David Caldwell has been on a mission to destroy the Eccentrics, through the use of Kaientai Deluxe. This Saturday will be the first round of the International Invitational Tournament for the tag titles, as the Eccentrics finally meet KDX.
Dick: It will be the US vs. Japan, but I'm not sure how comfortable I am with teams like the Eccentrics and Spanky and Delirious representing our country. I'm pulling for the Pyro Twins myself.
("Pajamarama" hits and Huh makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Cheesecake.)
David: This will be a one on one contest, as Huh takes on Men's Teioh.
Dick: The Eccentrics are the ones who finally made the challenge, but I don't think Huh's going to like his little preview here tonight.
(FINISH: Huh makes a comeback, hitting a back body drop and a clothesline. He gives Teioh a vertical suplex and bounces off the ropes, hitting a senton splash. He covers for a two count, when Togo pulls Huh off by the ankle. Cheesecake tackles Togo and pounds him with rights, and they fight on the outside. Huh picks Teioh up, but gets raked in the eyes. Teioh whips him into the ropes, but Huh reverses and hits the Windbreaker as Cheesecake sends Togo into the steps. Caldwell gets on the apron with a chair, but Huh sees him and comes over to grab it. They play tug-of-war with the chair, as the ref tries to break it up. Cheesecake comes over and pulls Caldwell off the apron. Caldwell lets go of the chair, causing Huh to accidentally swing it up over his head and nail Teioh, undetected by the ref. Huh drops the chair and looks at the unconscious Teioh, confused. He shrugs, and goes to the top rope, hitting a moonsault. He covers for the three count.)
Winner: Huh
Dick: I don't believe it, the stupid SOB just won another one by accident!
David: It was David Caldwell who brought the chair into play, and it backfired, costing Men's Teioh the match. Coming up next will be our main event, as Nykk goes up against the Pyro Twins in a handicap match.
(Commercial Break)
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with C.M. Punk and the Pyro Twins.)
Bill: I'm here with C.M. Punk, and his new "friends," the Pyro Twins. Punk, in four days you start your journey toward the MECCA Championship when you face Bryan Danielson at Bloody Valentine.
Punk: Before I get to that, Bill Jay, Dusty you know what to do. Good luck in your match.
(The Pyro Twins glare at Punk, and walk off set.)
Bill: It seems as if your new friends aren't too happy with being in your company.
Punk: You let me worry about the Pyro Twins. They're two of the toughest and most ruthless guys I've ever seen, which is why I have them on my side. They don't have to like it, but they don't have any choice. As for Bryan Danielson, you and I have been up and down the road together, but we haven't had much of an opportunity to meet in the ring. I know the American Dragon to be an honorable man which is why he won't win this Round Robin. This is MECCA, home of the tough. Bryan Danielson may be tough, but he's not willing to do what it takes to win, which is why he's the only guy in this thing who has never held a major independent title. Low Ki can give you a concussion with one kick, as he proved when he kicked a hole through the backdoor of the ECW Arena last month. Ronin Fox doesn't like getting ruthless, but he will rise to the occasion as his matches with Nykk have proven. Nykk tried to cripple another man and put him out of the business just because he was in his way. My record speaks for itself. Just look at what I did to Raven and Ricky Steamboat. At Bloody Valentine, Danielson, you will find out that straight edge is more than just a lifestyle. It's the razor that will cut you, and let your career bleed into nothingness.
(In the arena, "Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)
David: The Pyro Twins have a big first round match to prepare for in the International Invitational at Bloody Valentine, as they will face Delirious and Spanky, who I guess are calling themselves Reckless Abandon, but they're out here wasting time in a handicap match with Nykk.
Dick: It was Nykk who asked for this match.
David: And the Pyro Twins don't seem to want to be out here, just as they don't seem to like being with C.M. Punk. Just what is their reason for joining him?
Dick: I don't know, but they told Nykk not to meddle, and he's out here challenging them to matches. I'm sure they've been told by Punk to make sure that Nykk is not a factor in the Round Robin.
("Destroy" hits and Nykk sprints to the ring.)
David: Nykk wants to tear into the Pyro Twins, and here we go!
(Nykk slides into the ring and the bell rings. He spears Dusty to the mat and starts hitting him with right hands. Jay pounds Nykk's back with forearms and picks him up, but Nykk throws his hands off and starts hitting him with right hands. He bounces off the ropes and takes Jay down with a running back elbow. He gives Dusty a back body drop and the ref makes Dusty get out of the ring. Jay backs into a corner, and Nykk moves in, hitting him with right hands. He chops Jay a few times across the chest and whips him into the opposite corner, clotheslining him hard as he staggers out. He gives Jay a snap suplex and covers for a one count. He stomps on him a bit and then shoves him back down, hitting a standing legdrop. Jay tries to roll out of the ring, but Nykk grabs him by the hair and yanks him to his feet. He headbutts him and then picks him up in a fireman's carry, hitting a rolling Samoan drop. He bounces off the ropes, but Dusty hits him in the back of the head. Nykk turns around and blasts Dusty with a right, knocking him off the apron. Jay clips Nykk's knee from behind, and then tags Dusty when he makes it back up to the apron. He holds Nykk's leg for Dusty, who kicks at the knee. Dusty takes hold of the leg and plants a foot on Nykk's calf, falling to his back to further tweak the knee. Nykk gets to his feet, and Dusty gives him a teardrop suplex. He tags Jay, and they hit a double gourd buster on Nykk. They bounce off the ropes and hit simultaneous dropkicks to Nykk's ribs. Jay covers and gets a two count. He goes for a triangle choke, but Nykk pulls him down and counters into a cross armbreaker. Dusty quickly comes in and gives Nykk an elbow drop to break it up. Jay gets up and rams Nykk's knee into the mat. Nykk rolls to the ropes and staggers to his feet. Jay kicks him in the midsection a couple of times and then bounces off the ropes. Nykk backdrops him over the top rope, but Jay lands on his feet on the apron. Nykk backs up a bit and tries a baseball slide to Jay's legs. Jay jumps up to avoid it and Nykk slides to the floor. He grabs Jay's feet and pulls him off the apron, causing him to strike his head. Nykk gives him a sidewalk slam to the concrete. Dusty comes around on the apron and tries a double axehandle, but Nykk catches him with a right hand to the midsection. He lifts Dusty and dumps him on top of Jay. Nykk goes to the top rope as the Pyro Twins get to their feet. Nykk hits a plancha off the top, taking them back down.)
David: The Pyro Twins may have him outnumbered, but Nykk's putting up a pretty good fight! We'll be back after a short break!
(Commercial Break)
(In the ring, Nykk has Dusty in a sleeper, but Dusty manages to twist out of it and knee Nykk in the midsection. Dusty hits Nykk in the face and goes to tag Jay, but Nykk catches him around the neck and throws him back to the center of the ring. He puts Dusty in a headlock and rams him headfirst into the second turnbuckle. He then turns around and gives Dusty a bulldog. He pulls Dusty to the center of the ring, and attempts the Bellbrook Cedarleaf, but Dusty kicks him in the knee. Nykk spins Dusty around and drops an elbow, covering for a two count. Nykk goes for Howling Moon II, but Dusty escapes to his feet and pushes Nykk into the ropes. Nykk hits a running leg lariat, but lands on his knee, rendering him immobile. Dusty walks over and tags Jay, who runs in and dropkicks Nykk in the face. He picks Nykk up and then slams him face first into the mat. He tags Dusty, who goes to the top rope. They execute the Mandate of Heaven, and Dusty covers for a close two count. Dusty puts Nykk in a single leg Boston Crab. Nykk inches toward the ropes, but Jay gets off the apron and pulls the rope away from Nykk. The ref makes Jay quit, but Dusty drags Nykk back to the center of the ring. After about thirty seconds, Nykk starts trying to escape. He inches himself back so that he's practically sitting on his own head and then manages to get to his back. Dusty tries to turn him over again, but Nykk twists the other way, flipping Dusty. Dusty gets up and stomps Nykk's knee. He tags Jay, and they signal for Final Darkness. They whip Nykk front first into the corner, but Nykk realizes what's about to happen as he staggers out, and jumps back into the corner. Jay and Dusty give Final Darkness to thin air, and Nykk comes out of the corner backwards, elbowing them both in the face. They all go down, and the ref starts the count. Nykk and Jay are up at eight, and Dusty at nine, but the ref makes him leave. Jay tries a right, but Nykk blocks and fires back with rights. He favors his knee, but manages to whip Jay into the ropes, hitting a spinebuster. He immediately segues into the Cedarleaf, but Nykk is too close to the ropes, and Dusty is able to rake Nykk in the eyes and tag Jay's leg. Dusty kicks Nykk in the back of the knee to send him down, and bounces off the ropes. Nykk catches Dusty's legs from the mat and rolls him back with a rolling Boston Crab, but turns it into a Cedarleaf. However, Jay is up and kicks Nykk in the midsection. He headbutts him as Dusty escapes and gets up, and they give Nykk Final Darkness. Jay tells Dusty to cover, but suddenly C.M. Punk runs down and tells them to do it to Nykk again. The Pyro Twins argue with him, which allows Nykk to stagger to his feet. He somersaults behind Jay and takes him over with a sunset flip, but the ref informs him that Jay is not the legal man. Jay rolls through as Dusty drags Nykk to his feet, and they hit Final Darkness again. Dusty covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: The Pyro Twins
David: Nykk gave a valiant effort, but two against one, especially with wrestlers of the caliber of the Pyro Twins was just too much. Now the Pyro Twins have some momentum going into their match at Bloody Valentine.
(Punk enters the ring and leans over the unconscious Nykk, telling him that he'll never let him become the first MECCA Champion and slaps him across the face a couple of times until the Pyro Twins tell him that it's enough.)
Dick: The Pyro Twins are actually showing some mercy for Nykk.
David: Punk has been obsessed with making sure that Nykk does not become MECCA Champion ever since he lost to him on our second show. However, their paths will not cross at Bloody Valentine as Nykk will face Ronin Fox and Punk will face Bryan Danielson. Please join us on pay-per-view from Cincinnati, Ohio for Bloody Valentine. Until then, good night everybody!
