("Neocon" opening.)
David: Welcome to MECCA Go Time, ladies and gentlemen! We are here at the Agora Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio. I'm David Mills, alongside Dick Broccoli. Dick, tonight we're going to see every man in the Round Robin in the same ring together. It's going to be a tag team main event Ronin Fox and Bryan Danielson vs. C.M. Punk and Low Ki, and get this, Nykk will be the special guest referee!
Dick: It's just as unbelievable now as when I first heard it. Nykk hates certain people on both sides of this tag team war. How chaotic is he going to make this match?
David: We'll also see the in-ring debut of Gail Kim right here tonight, as well as a Four Way Tag Team Dance, which will happen right now!
("Pajamarama" hits and the Eccentrics make their way to the ring.)
David: The fun-loving Eccentrics are about to hit the ring and I hear that later tonight the brackets for the International Invitational Tag Team Tournament will be announced. The Eccentrics have to be considered heavy favorites, considering that they won a similar double elimination tournament last year in RCW.
Dick: I'll tell you what, no one thought they could do it, especially after their disastrous first-round loss, but they proved everyone wrong.
("Entre dos Tierras" hits and KDX makes their way to the ring, along with David Caldwell.)
David: Here come Dick Togo and Men's Teioh, or Kaientai Deluxe, with their manager, former scab referee David Caldwell.
Dick: Caldwell has made it his mission to cause pain and suffering to the Eccentrics, so he hired one of the most talented teams in the world to do it. It's just a matter of time until these two teams meet in the ring, which quite possibly could happen during the tag tournament.
("Can't Stop" hits and Spanky and Delirious make their way to the ring.)
David: Here's an interesting pairing. I understand that Spanky and Delirious have decided to form a team, and have put in a bid for the International Invitational. They would be unique representatives for the United States, to say the least.
Dick: I have a hard time figuring out which of these two is the odder. One thing that's for sure, is that they are definitely a talented team.
("Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)
David: Speaking of heavy favorites, the Pyro Twins have dominated the independent tag team scene for the past two years with their ruthlessness. And last week, for reasons unknown, they joined C.M. Punk by turning on their longtime friend Nykk.
Dick: And you can bet they've put in their bid to be a part of the International Invitational. If all four of these teams end up in the tournament, whoever wins this match could gain an all important psychological advantage going into it.
(The bell rings, and the Eccentrics and Spanky/Delirious can't decide which of their teams are going to start off. They keep going around making tags to the Pyro Twins and KDX, who in turn keep tagging in the face teams. Finally, it all settles down, but it's Spanky and Delirious who are the two legal men. Spanky shrugs and gets in Delirious's face. Delirious pushes him away, and tells him, "Bah!" They lock up, and Spanky goes behind and gets a waistlock. He lifts Delirious and slams him to the mat, staying on top of him. Delirious sits out and counters into a hammerlock. Spanky grabs Delirious's head with his other arm and charges to the corner, hitting Sliced Bread #2 out of the hammerlock. He covers Delirious, but everyone else in the match runs in at once to break up the pin, knowing that Spanky and Delirious would win the match if they pinned each other. Dusty and Jay drag Delirious to their corner and Dusty forcibly tags himself in. He charges Spanky and clotheslines him. Spanky gets to his feet in the corner, but Dusty beels him halfway across the ring. Spanky gets up in the opposite corner, and Dusty charges. Spanky moves, and Dusty hits the turnbuckles. He staggers out, and Spanky hits him with a leg lariat. Dusty staggers and trips over Delirious, who is trying to crawl back to his corner. Dusty lands on his back, and Spanky executes a Byer Bridge for a two count. Spanky puts Dusty in a headlock, and Dusty backs him up to the ropes, whipping him to the other side. Dick Togo tags Spanky as he bounces off the ropes. Dusty sends Spanky down with a shoulder block, but Togo charges him and sends him down with a shoulder block of his own. Dusty gets to his feet, and Togo gives him a couple of slaps to the chest. He whips Dusty into the ropes, but Dusty reverses. He puts his head down, and Togo vaults backwards over him, landing behind him. He gets a waistlock, but Dusty escapes by elbowing Togo's head. He reverses the waistlock, and then goes for a teardrop suplex. Togo flips out and lands on his feet, dropkicking Dusty in the back. Dusty bounces off the ropes and Togo rolls him up into an inside cradle for a one count. Togo goes for a swinging DDT, but Dusty counters into a spinebuster. As Togo gets to his feet, Dusty tags in Cheesecake. Cheesecake gives Togo an effeminate pose, and Togo charges at him. Cheesecake kicks him in the midsection and hits a gutwrench suplex. He covers for a two count. He whips Togo into the ropes, but Togo counters with a hurricanrana, rolling back until he has his head under Cheesecake's knee, lifting him upside down into the air. Men's Teioh comes in and dropkicks Cheesecake in the face. Togo then legally tags Teioh in. Teioh gives Cheesecake a full nelson slam and covers for a two count. He goes for the Miracle Ecstasy, but Cheesecake slips out and pushes Teioh into his corner, hitting a running clothesline. He tags in Huh, and they whip Teioh into the ropes, hitting a double looper. Huh covers and gets a two count. Huh goes for a powerbomb, but Teioh rakes the eyes and escapes. He knees Huh in the midsection and whips him into the ropes. Teioh goes for a Roaring Elbow, but Huh ducks and kicks Teioh, delivering a DDT. He covers for a two count, but Jay comes in and kicks Huh in the head to break up the pin. Huh confronts the Pyro Twins, but Teioh dropkicks him from behind, right into the Pyro Twins' corner. They start mercilessly pounding Huh with right hands, and Teioh tags Jay. Dusty holds Huh in a choke in the corner, while Jay hits him with shoulder thrusts to the midsection. Jay gives Huh a back suplex and then tags in Dusty. They lift Huh for a double vertical suplex, but then drop him stomach first onto the mat. As Huh doubles over, they bounce off opposite ropes and nail simultaneous dropkicks to the ribs. Dusty covers and gets a two count. Dusty tags Togo back in, as Huh sits up. Togo hits a flipping necksnap to Huh. He bounces off the ropes and hits a somersault senton to Huh's chest. He covers and gets a two count. Togo tags Teioh in, and they whip Huh into the ropes. Teioh hip tosses Huh into Togo, who lifts him into a powerbomb with Teioh's help. KDX pose and then Teioh covers Huh for a two count. He puts Huh in the Teioh Lock, but Huh pushes him back to a corner, where Delirious tags Teioh. Delirious dropkicks both guys. Huh falls into the corner, and Delirious backs up, then charges to hit the Panic Attack. He backs up again to go for it, but Teioh forearms him from behind, and then drags him to their corner, making him tag Togo. Huh gets up and suddenly realizes he's close to Spanky, and tries to tag him, but Togo manages to reach him and grab his arm, giving a back trip to the mat. He scoop slams Huh and then goes to the top rope. He attempts a senton bomb, but Huh moves, and Togo backsplashes the mat. Huh tags Cheesecake in, and Cheesecake clotheslines Togo, then goes over and clotheslines both Pyro Twins. He hits Togo with a running bulldog, and signals for the Long Kiss Goodnight. However, he's too close to Spanky's corner, and Spanky tags himself in. Cheesecake hits Togo with the Long Kiss Goodnight and covers, but the ref tells him he's not legal anymore. Spanky quickly covers Togo as the ref gets Cheesecake out of the ring. The ref turns around and makes the count, but Togo is able to kick out at two. Spanky whips him into the ropes, but is reversed. Spanky vaults off the ropes and hits Electric Mayhem. He goes to the top rope and hits the Left Turn at Albuquerque. He covers, but Teioh comes in and breaks up the pin. He whips Spanky into the ropes, but it's reversed as Delirious comes in. Spanky drops down and Delirious hits a spinning heel kick on Teioh. They then lift Togo and give him a double northern lights suplex. They roll through and bring Togo back to his feet, lifting him and sitting out into a double jawbreaker. Spanky covers, but Jay comes into the ring and grabs Spanky by the hair. He throws him off Togo, and Spanky confronts Jay, only to be knocked down from behind by Dusty. Togo tags Jay, who comes in and hits a legdrop on Spanky.)
David: Things are really starting to get intense in this Four Way Dance. We'll be right back!
(Commercial Break)
( In the ring, Jay drops Spanky into a backbreaker, and Dusty comes off the top rope for the Mandate of Heaven. Jay covers, but Spanky kicks out at two. Jay applies a triangle choke, and Spanky starts to fade. He starts to inch his feet toward the ropes, but fades into unconsciousness just before he can touch the ropes. The ref drops Spanky's hand twice, but Cheesecake runs in and hits a falling headbutt on Jay to break up the hold. Jay glares at Cheesecake and then whips Spanky into his corner, executing a belly to belly suplex as he staggers out. Jay covers and gets a two count. Jay tags Dusty, who comes in and knees Spanky in the face. He signals for the Rope Burn II, and lifts him in a vertical suplex onto the top rope to set it up. However, as he twists his body to take Spanky over, Delirious comes over and grabs a hold of Spanky's legs. Dusty falls to the mat and hits his head and Spanky falls off the ropes. Dusty gets up, a little groggy, and whips Spanky into the ropes. He lifts him into the air for a flapjack, but Spanky counters with a dropkick. Spanky crawls to his corner, but Jay comes in and he and Dusty get in between Spanky and Delirious. Spanky sees the situation, and fakes a dive for Delirious, instead going to his right and tagging Huh in. Huh comes in and gives Dusty a running avalanche. He gives Jay some right hands and whips him into the ropes, hitting a back body drop. He gives Dusty a spinebuster, and then DDTs Jay on top of him. He puts Jay on his shoulders, moving toward his corner for the Eccentric Chair, but Togo comes in and sweeps Huh's legs so that he falls back and gives Jay an electric chair drop instead. Meanwhile, Dusty tags Teioh in. Teioh gives Huh a dangerous backdrop suplex, putting Huh near Delirious, who tags in. Delirious sneaks up behind Teioh and hits the Chemical Imbalance #2. He covers, but Togo runs in and breaks up the pin. The rest of the participants get in the ring and a big brawl ensues. Togo backdrops Huh out of the ring, but is then clotheslined over the top rope by Cheesecake. The Pyro Twins dump Cheesecake over the top rope and then go out to brawl with him and Huh. Togo climbs to the top rope and hits a rolling senton onto Dusty, Jay, Cheesecake and Huh. They get up, and Teioh dives through the ropes with a tope onto Huh and Dusty. As they get up, Delirious vaults over the top rope with a pescado. He's caught by Jay, Huh and Togo, but Spanky dives over the top rope with a somersault plancha, hitting Delirious and causing him to take down everybody. Teioh is the first one back in the ring, along with Spanky. Spanky gives him a hip toss, but gets kicked in the face as he moves in. Teioh grabs a waistlock as Delirious rolls back in. Spanky escapes and turns around, grabbing Teioh's head and arm. Delirious hits a standing enzugiri to Teioh as Spanky takes him down with a flatliner. Delirious covers and gets the three count.)
Winners: Spanky and Delirious
David: Spanky and Delirious get the duke in this tag team war! And they have to have some bragging rights going into this tournament, because they just beat three other credible teams and this is the first time they've teamed up.
Dick: It's definitely a good sign for Spanky and Delirious. They smartly made sure everyone else was down on the floor before isolating one of their opponents and moving in for the kill.
(In the ring, Huh and Cheesecake congratulate Spanky and Delirious, who then roll out of the ring and head up the aisle, along with the Pyro Twins. David Caldwell gets in the ring and starts yelling at the Eccentrics.)
David: What does this bug want? If he's not careful, he's going to get more of what happened to him at Wrestling Revolution I.
(As the Eccentrics stalk Caldwell, KDX rolls into the ring and take the Eccentrics down from behind. They hit the Eccentrics with right hands, but Huh reverses a whip from Teioh and hits a back body drop. Cheesecake gets a waistlock on Togo and he and Huh hit the Flathead. Cheesecake tells Huh to go up top, and he gives Teioh the Long Kiss Goodnight. Huh hits a moonsault from the top onto Teioh. They go after Caldwell, but he quickly ducks out of the ring. Cheesecake gets a mic.)
David: KDX tried to ambush the Eccentrics, but they were just turned back!
Cheesecake: All right, Caldwell we th'ee that you won't th'top until you once again prove what a th'cab you are! Th'o me and Huh would like to make a challenge to bring your boy'th to Bloody Valentine on February 12 in Th'in'th'innati, and we'll show you that win or lose, th'omebody's going down! And Caldwell you better pray that it'th not you!
("Pajamarama" plays and the Eccentrics exit the ring.)
David: The challenge has been laid out by the Eccentrics. They want KDX in the ring at Bloody Valentine.
Dick: The Eccentrics don't realize what they've gotten themselves into. They may have been the first RCW Tag Team Champions, but Men's Teioh and Dick Togo are world class wrestlers. The Eccentrics are going to get hurt if this challenge is accepted.
David: We have to take a commercial break. When we come back, LuFisto will take on Shadow!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Faint" hits and Shadow makes her way to the ring.)
David: We're back here on Go Time, and I've just been told that the winner of this match will go on to Bloody Valentine, live on pay-per-view on February 12, to face the Ladies' Champion Lisa Letty in a title match.
Dick: The first title defense in MECCA history will be at Bloody Valentine, and I can't wait for that.
("Fell in Love with a Girl" hits and LuFisto makes her way to the ring.)
David: It was LuFisto who almost became the first Ladies' Champion on our very first show, but then she turned on what we all thought was her friend and student, Lisa Letty. She even went so far as to bring Gail Kim in to attack Lisa.
Dick: She may have trained Lisa, but it's all business in the ring. LuFisto will stop at nothing to advance her career by winning as many titles as possible.
(FINISH: Shadow hits a flying headscissors and then signals for the Interceptor. She goes for it, but LuFisto ducks. However, Shadow turns right back around with a spinning backhand punch, knocking LuFisto through the ropes and to the floor. Shadow goes after her and rams her head into the barricade. She throws LuFisto back in, but before she can roll in, someone from under the ring grabs her feet. As Shadow struggles to free herself, LuFisto hits a baseball slide, knocking Shadow down. LuFisto throws Shadow back into the ring and applies LuFisto's Law. Shadow taps out after a few moments.)
Winner: LuFisto
David: LuFisto picks up the victory with LuFisto's Law, but who the hell was under the ring?
Dick: What are you talking about? There was nobody pulling Shadow's leg.
(Gail Kim comes out from under the ring and laughs at Shadow before going into the ring to raise LuFisto's hand.)
David: No one under the ring, huh? LuFisto picks up a title shot for Bloody Valentine, thanks to her new friend Gail Kim.
(LuFisto tells Kim to get Shadow up, and Gail holds her for LuFisto to lay in several shots to the ribs. Gail shoves Shadow to LuFisto, who lifts her in a fireman's carry and hits the LuFisto Launcher. She tells Gail to stretch Shadow, but before she can, Lisa Letty walks down and slides into the ring. She goes straight for Gail and hits her with quick right hands. LuFisto hits her from behind, and they whip Lisa into the ropes, putting their heads down. Lisa kicks Gail in the face, and DDTs LuFisto. Gail walks into an Interceptor from Shadow, and she and LuFisto roll out of the ring.)
David: The Ladies' Champion, Lisa Letty, has saved the day. Good thing too, because I'm sure Gail and LuFisto had bad intentions concerning Shadow.
Dick: You want to talk about blatant politicking for LuFisto, what about Lisa Letty? She has no love for Shadow. She needs an ally if she's going to take on LuFisto and Kim, and she knows it.
David: She came down because it was the right thing to do. Nonetheless, it will be LuFisto vs. Lisa for the Ladies' Title at Bloody Valentine.
(In the office, Katie Piehl is in front of the camera with Bill Bicknell.)
Bill: Ms. Piehl, I understand that the brackets for the International Invitational Tag Team Tournament have been set.
Katie: Yes, Bill, in the past few weeks I've received bids from tag teams all over the world, and I've chosen eight teams to take part in this double elimination tournament for the tag team titles. The first two matches of the first round will take place at Bloody Valentine on February 12. So, in the first round of the upper brackets, the matchups will be as follows. Earlier, I received word that David Caldwell has accepted the challenge of the Eccentrics on behalf of KDX, so I decided to make that the first match of the upper brackets. Also, at Bloody Valentine, another first round match will be the Pyro Twins taking on the tandem we just saw win the Four Way Dance earlier, Spanky and Delirious. And then the first round will continue, as representing Mexico it will be Fugitivos Locos of Psychosis and Super Crazy, taking on a new team from the UK, Jack Fletcher and Andy Nathans, the UK Wrecking Crew. And in the last match, also representing Japan, will be the team of Keiji Sakoda and Katsushi Takemura against a team representing Canada, Shannon and Shane, the Ballard Brothers.
(She points out a board where the brackets have been drawn up.)
Katie: When a team is eliminated in the upper brackets, they drop to their appropriate place in the lower brackets. If a team loses two matches, they are eliminated from the tournament. The team who wins the tournament will not only win the tag team titles, but the MECCA Tag Team World Cup trophy, which will be awarded on the Go Time after the finals, which will take place at the MECCA Challenge on April 30. Good luck to all the teams in the tournament, and thank you for your time.
(Commercial Break)
(In the locker room, the Pyro Twins are stripped to the waist, and look like they've just gotten out of the shower.)
Jay: So we've got Spanky and Delirious for the first round of the International Invitational Tournament.
Dusty: They're dead.
Jay: So after that, we've either got the Eccentrics or KDX.
Dusty: They're deader.
Jay: The way I see it, it's up to us to do our country proud. There are two other US teams, two from Japan, one from the UK, one from Mexico, and one from Canada. Do you honestly want to see those idiots Delirious and Spanky or the Eccentrics waving the stars and stripes?
Dusty: Hey when we win that trophy and the tag titles let's celebrate by setting something on fire.
Jay: (smiles) Yeah.
(Nykk suddenly barges into the locker room. He holds up his hands in disbelief, not even saying anything, and waiting for an explanation. Dusty and Jay just stare at him.)
Nykk: Well?
Dusty: Well what?
Nykk: Can you explain to me why you turned on me last week? Are you allied with Punk now or what?
Jay: I think that should be obvious.
Nykk: Why?
Dusty: We'd really rather not say.
Nykk: You'd rather not say!? This isn't just some "career friendship," you know. We go all the way back to elementary school. But last week, you treated me like just another wrestling business associate.
Jay: Nykk, trust me. We had to do what we did. You'd be wise to just stay out of it, because you can test us on a lot of things but not on this. If you get in the way, we will not hesitate to tear you apart. Come on, Dusty.
(The Pyro Twins grab their shirts and towels and leave the locker room.)
(In the arena, "Brackish" by Kittie hits and Gail Kim makes her way to the ring.)
David: We saw Gail Kim before the break, as she helped LuFisto beat Shadow.
Dick: There's still no conclusive proof that Gail was grabbing Shadow's legs. Bad camera angles.
("Take it Off" by the Donnas hits and Kelly Schweickart makes her way to the ring.)
David: This is also Kelly Schweickart's debut in MECCA. She is the latest of the long list of Bellbrook alumni to have graduated from the RCW/MECCA training camp.
Dick: Well, she's in there with a vicious and experienced wrestler, Gail Kim. I think we all know how this is going to turn out.
(FINISH: Gail misses a guillotine legdrop, and Kelly gets to her feet. She hits Gail with right hands, and whips her into the ropes, executing a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. She picks Gail up, but gets poked in the eye. Gail goes for a tornado DDT, but Kelly counters into a sit out spinebuster. Kelly goes to the top rope and tries a Sky Twister Press, but Gail moves. Gail bounces off the ropes and puts Kelly in the Christo. Kelly drops to her knees and then to her stomach as Gail cinches in the hold. Kelly taps out.)
Winner: Gail Kim
David: Impressive showing of potential by Kelly, but the more experienced Gail Kim comes out on top with that Christo.
Dick: Hate to say I told you so. Lisa Letty better beware the presence of Gail Kim at Bloody Valentine.
David: Up next, it's our main event. Nykk is the special guest referee when Ronin Fox and Bryan Danielson take on C.M. Punk and Low Ki. Stay with us!
(Commercial Break)
(A video is shown to hype the UK Wrecking Crew of Andy Nathans and Jack Fletcher, set to "Ironman" by Ozzy Ozbourne.)
(In the arena, "Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring, wearing a referee's shirt.)
David: Nykk, as we saw earlier, is still reeling after being betrayed by his longtime friends the Pyro Twins last week. We still don't know why they did that. What advancement can Punk possibly give them here in MECCA that Nykk can't?
Dick: I don't know, but if the Pyro Twins are now allied with C.M. Punk full time, that's going to be the force to be reckoned with in MECCA.
("Fighters Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)
David: All five of the men involved in this match will face each other in the Round Robin for the MECCA Championship, and here comes perhaps the most intense wrestler of the five, Low Ki.
Dick: Low Ki was the first Ring of Honor Heavyweight Champion, and has been all over the wrestling business in the past few years. He's got experience, speed, agility, versatility and strength. That's why he is my current pick to win the whole thing.
("Miseria Cantare" hits and C.M. Punk makes his way to the ring.)
David: What is the hold that the straight-edge C.M. Punk has over the Pyro Twins that would cause them to turn on Nykk? That's the question everyone's asking.
Dick: I don't know, but Punk better watch himself out here with Nykk. Nykk may not have any booking authority, but he has all the authority in this match.
(Punk starts to jaw with Nykk as "Self Esteem" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.)
David: It may break down right here between Punk and Nykk before our second team even makes its way down.
Dick: This is not fair to the team of C.M. Punk and Low Ki, with Nykk out here refereeing. What was Katie Piehl thinking?
("Wherever I May Roam" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)
David: Not only is there an issue between Punk and Nykk, but Nykk and Fox will face each other in the first round of the Round Robin at Bloody Valentine. Also, "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson will have to wrestle twice at Bloody Valentine, once against C.M. Punk and again against Low Ki in the main event.
Dick: It's a tough break for Danielson, and it probably means he'll have to wrestle twice in one night again at March's event, Melee.
(FINISH: To everyone's surprise, Nykk acts impartial throughout the entire match. Punk hits Welcome to Chicago, Motherf*cker on Danielson and covers for a two count. He goes for a vertical suplex, but Danielson escapes and hits a superkick. He goes to the top rope, but Punk goes up and stops him with some right hands. He goes for the Pepsi Plunge, but Danielson hooks his legs to the turnbuckles, and Punk crashes to the mat by himself. When Punk gets up, Danielson launches himself at Punk, hooking his arms and taking him to the mat. He applies Cattle Mutilation, but Low Ki comes in and kicks Danielson in his calf to break it up. Fox comes in and hits Low Ki with a running dropkick. He goes to clothesline Low Ki over the top rope, but Low Ki backdrops him over. Low Ki goes to the outside and hits a Tidal Wave onto Fox. In the ring, Punk goes for a rolling Samoan drop, but Danielson escapes and executes a dragon suplex for the three count.)
Winners: Bryan Danielson and Ronin Fox
David: Danielson gets the pin over C.M. Punk, leading into their match at Bloody Valentine!
Dick: What I can't believe is that Nykk stayed impartial the entire match! What is this world coming to?
(As if on cue, Nykk makes a lunge for Punk after he's raised Danielson's hand, but Punk is pulled out of the ring by the Pyro Twins and whisked back up the aisle.)
David: Nykk made a grab for Punk there, now that his refereeing duties are over, but Punk was saved by the Pyro Twins.
Dick: This is definitely a puzzling situation, David.
David: Nonetheless, we're out of time this week. Join us again next week, and on February 12 for Bloody Valentine!
