Countdown Match: The Human Tornado vs. Jamie Chan
Referee: Matt Hitchcock
(FINISH: Chan hits a Saitama Kick and goes for a superkick, but Tornado catches his foot and throws it away, allowing Chan to hit an enzugiri. He goes for a vertical suplex, but Tornado escapes and rolls him up with a rolling clutch, getting the three count.)
Winner: The Human Tornado
(Opening.)
David: Thank you for joining us across the country on pay-per-view, fans, as MECCA presents Summertime Showdown right here from the Homefront, the Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio! Tonight, Alan Mayse will attempt to realize his destiny as he challenges Ronin Fox for the MECCA World Championship.
Dick: We'll also see faction warfare with a big eight-man tag team match as the UK Wrecking Crew takes on the House of Lords.
David: Plus Daizee Haze will challenge for Lisa Letty's Ladies' Title, and much more. It's an important night for the House of Lords and their fight for domination of MECCA.
("The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson and Kevin Stone make their way to the ring.)
David: We're kicking things off with the tag team belts on the line as Kevin Stone and Bryan Danielson, as formidable a team as we've ever seen here in MECCA, make their way down.
Dick: These two have formed an alliance in recent months as a direct result of the rise of the House of Lords, and they've worked their way into contention for the Tag Team Championship.
("Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)
David: The most dominant tag team in MECCA history is the Pyro Twins, and thanks to joining the House of Lords, they hold the titles once again. These two have been unbeatable recently.
Dick: Jay and Dusty claim to be the best tag team in the world. They won their feud against the UK Wrecking Crew. They won their feud against the Backseat Boyz, and they're now the tag team champions. It's hard to argue with that.
MECCA Tag Team Championship: Bryan Danielson and Kevin Stone vs. The Pyro Twins
Referee: Keith Young
(FINISH: Stone whips Dusty into the corner, and then whips Jay into him. He hits a charging clothesline, and then gives Jay a backdrop. Jay lands on his feet, but Danielson comes off the opposite corner with a European uppercut, flooring him. Dusty gets lifted into a military press by Stone and dropped into a powerslam. Stone grabs Jay and straddles his feet across Danielson's shoulders. He goes for the Stone Cutter, but Dusty gives him a shoulder block, backing him into Danielson and causing Jay to roll through. They give Stone Final Darkness and he rolls out of the ring. Jay charges Danielson, but gets rolled up into a small package for two. Danielson gives Dusty a drop toehold and then lays into him with elbows, but Jay comes to the rescue. They whip Danielson into the ropes for a double backdrop, but Danielson lands on his feet. He gives Dusty a European uppercut from behind and grabs Jay's arms, trying to turn him over for Cattle Mutilation. However, Dusty hooks Danielson's leg with his own feet, allowing Jay to escape and give Danielson the Overhaul. Dusty makes the cover and gets the three count as Jay dropkicks Stone to keep him from getting back in.)
Winners: The Pyro Twins
David: That's one for the House of Lords, as the Pyro Twins were able to overcome two of MECCA's biggest singles stars and retain the Tag Team Championship.
Dick: What an encounter that was, and if Danielson and Stone decide to stay as a team, I don't think that this will be the last we see of them in the title picture.
David: The MECCA competitors will have many more chances tonight to bring down the House of Lords, but up next is a special Three Way Dance, and the winner will get a future World Title shot.
("Hybrid Stigmata" hits and Delirious makes his way to the ring.)
David: Delirious came close to gaining the World Title a couple of weeks ago, when he faced off against Ronin Fox, but it was not to be for the masked man.
Dick: He'll have another opportunity very soon if he can win this match.
("The Chase" hits and Trent Acid makes his way to the ring.)
David: Acid has been complaining about not receiving a title shot for a while now, and this is his chance.
Dick: We haven't seen his partner in months, and Acid has been branching back out into singles recently.
("Clavicle" hits and Matt Sydal makes his way to the ring.)
David: Sydal also had a title shot back in July, and again was unsuccessful. But much like Delirious, he had to face Fox after already wrestling earlier in the night and it will be interesting to see what he could do against Fox when he's fresh.
Dick: Absolutely. This kid has all the tools to be very successful in this business.
(Before the bell can ring, Katie Piehl comes out onto the stage with a mic.)
Katie: Hold on a minute, David. Far be it from me to prevent you fans from seeing this great action, but I have an announcement to make. Nykk, you just don't learn, do you? You have the power to make matches, but so do I, and any match you make I can change. And especially tonight, since I was given full authority to book this card. I've decided that there is one other man who is deserving of a title shot and hasn't received one yet during the oh so illustrious reign of Ronin Fox. Therefore, I'm making this match a Four Way Dance, and allow me to introduce your final participant... Eddie Crowe!
("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring.)
David: Former MECCA Champion for thirteen months, Eddie Crowe finally has an opportunity to regain the belt thanks to Katie Piehl!
Dick: You can bet that Nykk is irate somewhere in this building. Katie Piehl wasn't kidding when she said she was going to be taking it right to the House of Lords.
Four Way Dance: Eddie Crowe vs. Trent Acid vs. Delirious vs. Matt Sydal
Referee: David Bowers
(FINISH: Sydal and Delirious stick to their plan of double teaming Acid, and they finish him off with a Here It Is/Chemical Imbalance combo, with Sydal covering for the victory. Delirious is the next eliminated after a crucifix from Eddie. Eddie manages to floor Sydal with a backslide bomb and then goes to the top rope. Sydal intercepts him and manages to crotch him. He jumps up for a hurricanrana, but Eddie holds onto the top rope and Sydal falls to the mat. Eddie prepares for a tornado DDT, but Sydal fights out of it and goes up with Eddie, looking for the Cyclorama. Eddie pushes him off and tries a 450 kneedrop, but Sydal moves. Sydal goes after the knee, kicking away at it, and whips Eddie into the ropes. Sydal puts his head down and Eddie vaults off his back to land on his feet, but hurts his knee. Sydal sweeps the leg and hits a standing moonsault, getting a two count. He goes up for the Shooting Sydal Press, but Eddie manages to get up and tries a super brainbuster. Sydal fights out of it, and Eddie actually manages to monkey flip him off the top rope. Eddie gives him the Gutwrench Driver, covering for the three count.)
Winner: Eddie Crowe
David: Eddie Crowe has won a World Title shot, and this is not what Nykk expected when he made this match!
Dick: We didn't even know Eddie Crowe was here tonight, but he's won himself a World Title shot, and you have to think that he hopes it's against Ronin Fox!
David: Up next, the Ladies' Title will be on the line as Lisa Letty defends against Daizee Haze. Daizee won this shot in the Lisa Letty Invitational Battle Royale last month, but Lisa has been playing head games with her ever since. We thought she incurred a serious knee injury, but it turned out to be a ruse as Lisa and Shadow attacked Daizee with crutches this past week on Go Time.
("Sensi" hits and Daizee Haze makes her way to the ring.)
David: Daizee has been waiting for this opportunity for a long time, but you have to wonder if she's at a hundred percent.
Dick: With a similar size and build, Daizee may be Lisa's toughest challenger yet. It would be gratifying if she were the first member of the MECCA roster to get a win over the House of Lords tonight.
("Serve the Shame" hits and Lisa Letty makes her way to the ring.)
David: Lisa is so proud of herself for faking that knee injury, and it was only a year ago that she suffered serious nerve damage that put her out for three months.
Dick: The fans were sympathetic for her then, but I don't know how she can ever expect them to trust her now.
MECCA Ladies' Championship: Daizee Haze vs. Lisa Letty
Referee: Nikki Alvarado
(FINISH: Daizee hits the heart punch, and then goes for a Yakuza Kick. Lisa brushes her foot aside and knees her in the back. She goes for the Clockstopper, but Daizee escapes and gives Lisa the Mind Trip. She covers, but Lisa just barely gets her foot on the bottom rope before the three count. Daizee goes for another Mind Trip, but Lisa hooks the top rope and sends Daizee face first into the mat. She takes her over with a rolling clutch pin, getting a close two count. She whips Daizee into the ropes and leapfrogs her, coming down hard on her knee. Lisa collapses, and the ref comes over to check on her. Alvarado tells Daizee to back off, but Daizee pushes her aside and starts kicking at the knee. She pounds away on Lisa with right hands, but Lisa grabs her by the tights and pulls her right into the second turnbuckle. She rolls Daizee up with a backslide and then segues over into a jackknife pin for the three count.)
Winner: Lisa Letty
David: Lisa Letty baited Daizee into that, and unfortunately for the Haze, she is not the new Ladies' Champion.
Dick: Daizee lost her temper when she saw Lisa fake the knee injury again, and it cost her this time.
("Third Reich from the Sun" by Hanzel und Gretyl hits and Nykk, Cynric, Huh and Joey Sprinklers make their way to the ring, clapping for Lisa.)
David: The House of Lords is out here now, and we're scheduled to have the big eight-man tag next.
Dick: The House of Lords have kept two of their titles so far, and now it's time for the UK Wrecking Crew to settle up with Nykk and the rest.
(Nykk congratulates Lisa as "Problems" hits and the UK Wrecking Crew make their way to the ring.)
David: Austin Lee, Tristan Lee, Andy Nathans, Jack Fletcher, the UK Wrecking Crew is here minus one member, that being Nikki Chandler, who was brutally piledriven through a table by Nykk on Go Time a couple of episodes ago, and she's going to be out of action for an undetermined... here we go!
(The UKWC rush the ring and pair off with the House of Lords as the bell rings, trading rights.)
The UK Wrecking Crew vs. The House of Lords
Referee: Matt Hitchcock
(FINISH: Nathans hits London Bridge is Falling Down on Joey, but Huh and Cynric pull him out of the ring and ram him into the guardrail. In the ring, Fletcher and Tristan both charge over and dive to the floor with planchas onto Cynric and Huh. Nykk comes over and springboards to the top rope, sitting down and launching himself off with a double clothesline onto Fletcher and Tristan. In the ring, Austin lifts Joey for the Degenerate Driver, but Joey flips out of it and lands on his feet. Austin backdrops him over the top, but Joey lands on the apron and Austin gives him a big boot to send him into the guardrail. He tells Nykk to get back in the ring, and Nykk obliges. They tear into each other, trading right hands. Austin gets the better of the exchange and whips Nykk into the ropes. Nykk slide between his legs and staggers him with a leg lariat. He goes for a tiger slam, but Austin drops to one knee and lifts Nykk into a fireman's carry. Nykk escapes and goes between the legs again, gabbing Austin's arms and somersaulting him into a sitting position. He bounces off the ropes and goes for a running kick, but Austin rolls backwards. Nykk bounces off the ropes and Austin meets him with a flying elbow. Austin gives him the Rerun Neckbreaker and then tries to whip him into the corner. Nykk reverses as Huh gets back in the ring, and Nykk tells him to go for it. Huh gives Austin an avalanche, then moves as Joey comes in and charges Austin with a leaping forearm. Cynric crashes into him next with a rolling koppo kick, and Nykk tries to charge in with the European uppercut, but Austin moves and Nykk hits the turnbuckles. Tristan charges into him with a dropkick. He then takes out Huh on the floor with a tope. Nathans charges in with a clothesline and then gets on all fours, allowing Fletcher to launch himself into a cannonball. Austin charges in with the reverse elbow and then signals for the Degenerate Driver. However, Joey and Cynric trip him from the outside and crotch him on the ring post. Nykk blocks a left and a right hand from Nathans, then tries a kick. Nathans catches his foot, but ducks an enzugiri from Nykk. He sets up for the Wrecking Ball, but as Fletcher charges into the ropes, Cynric comes in and gives Nathans a roundhouse kick to the face so hard it looks as if he's knocked out, and Joey dives into Fletcher's knee, somersaulting him at a painful angle. Nykk locks him in the Cedarleaf and debuts his new Cedarleaf Vice, and Fletcher taps out.)
Winners: The House of Lords
David: The House of Lords have proven victorious after one wild eight-man tag, as Fletcher taps out to this new variation of the Cedarleaf from Nykk.
Dick: What an encounter between these two factions, but despite not having matches booked in their favor tonight, the House of Lords has not lost yet.
(As the House of Lords celebrates, Shadow makes her way down to the ring, clapping for them. She hugs each of them and then gets the mic as Nykk and the rest exit.)
Shadow: I knew that I made the right decision joining the House of Lords. Look at us, everyone. We're winners! And I'm about to continue that tradition right now. Sara Del Rey, get out here right now!
("The Final Countdown" hits as Shadow looks confused. But Sara Del Rey comes out, accompanied by Bryan Danielson, still holding his head.)
David: It's the American Angel Sara Del Rey, and she didn't come alone. Her trainer, the American Dragon Bryan Danielson, knows the type of tricks that Shadow's likely to pull and isn't about to let it happen.
Dick: Shadow is one of the most renowned women on our roster, a former two-time Ladies' Champion, and you can bet that Del Rey is looking to get the victory here and challenge for that very belt.
(Nykk comes back to ringside, saying that if Danielson stays out here, he gets to stay in Shadow's corner.)
Sara Del Rey vs. Shadow
Referee: Rya Zeh
(FINISH: Del Rey ducks the Interceptor from Shadow and hits her with a German suplex. On the way over, Shadow elbows the ref in the face, and she goes down. Nykk immediately gets in the ring, but Danielson cuts him off with a European uppercut and then brawls with him to the floor. However, Nykk drops a pair of brass knuckles in the ring before rolling out, and Shadow picks them up. She headbutts Del Rey in the midsection and puts them on her fist. She whips Del Rey into the ropes and puts her head down, allowing Del Rey to lift her into the Royal Butterfly. She tries to take her over with the powerslam, but Shadow escapes and spins Del Rey around, hitting her right in the face with the brass knuckles. She throws them out of the ring as the ref comes to and Shadow covers for the three count.)
Winner: Shadow
David: I can't believe it. Nykk was not about to let Shadow get outmatched like she was against Del Rey a few weeks ago, and now it's another victory for the House of Lords.
Dick: I don't think either Sara or Danielson are done with the House of Lords by a long shot, though.
(Nykk and Shadow meet in the aisle to celebrate as Danielson tends to Del Rey.)
David: Up next is a big tag team grudge match, as it was almost two months ago that the Surgeons attacked the Killer Kanines completely unprovoked after they had a match. Then at Liberty or Death, the Kanines' manager Medea Knight turned on them during the Walters vs. Anubis match and allied herself with the Surgeons. Now these two teams will settle the score under relaxed rules.
("Lava" hits and the Surgeons make their way to the ring, along with Medea Knight.)
David: The Surgeons are ready to try and make their mark and take down the former... wait a minute!
(The Killer Kanines attack from behind and the fight is on.)
The Killer Kanines vs. The Surgeons
Referee: Keith Young
(FINISH: The two teams brawl all over the building, but eventually it comes back to the ring. Wolf gives Stryker a back suplex and then goes under the ring, sliding a table in and setting it up in the corner. Anubis lifts Walters for a running powerbomb, but Stryker pulls him off and they give Anubis a double back elbow. They go for a double suplex, but Anubis lands on his feet and slingshots Wolf back into the ring with a double clothesline. Anubis levels Walters with the Ankh Smash, and Wolf gives Stryker a sunset flip for the three count.)
Winners: The Killer Kanines
David: The Kanines are victorious, and what a fight we just witnessed.
Dick: It's back to the drawing board for the Surgeons, and I guess Medea Knight is regretting her decision now.
(Medea gets on the apron, and Anubis drags her into the ring by the hair. Before they can do anything, Walters comes in with a chair and cracks Wolf across the back. He low blows Anubis with it, and Stryker slides another table into the ring. They set it up, and Walters gives Anubis a powerbomb through the table with Stryker's assist. Stryker then picks up Wolf and puts him in a fireman's carry, running to the corner and putting him through the table with the Stryker Driver. "Lava" plays as the Surgeons celebrate with Medea.)
David: Well, it looks like this war isn't over after all, as the Killer Kanines have just been put through two tables, and the Surgeons are just so proud of themselves.
Dick: That was probably direct retaliation for the Kanines attempting to put Medea through a table a couple of weeks ago, but the fact is they're still looking for that elusive win over the Kanines.
David: Up next is our main event, fans. Dayton is old stomping grounds for these two opponents, who cut their teeth against each other in FPPVW and later RCW. Tonight, they meet for the MECCA World Title, held by Ronin Fox. We'll see if Alan Mayse can fulfill his destiny and obtain the World Title that has eluded him for so long.
("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)
David: Alan won this shot at Punked Out by winning the Eight-Man Throwdown, and the House of Lords' latest mind game seems to be attempting to coerce Mayse into joining them, but of course Alan is having none of it.
Dick: A very proud competitor, a former three-time RCW Champion, and a former Toughman and Tag Team Champion here in MECCA, but he's never won the big prize. He's looking to take it all tonight.
("Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)
David: Fox claims that Alan is at the same level he was at years ago, while he and Nykk just kept improving and that's why he's the champion now.
Dick: Fox has the House of Lords to back him up usually, but it's all on him right now. He needs to do what he couldn't do before, and that's beat Alan when it really counts.
Jared: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your main event of Summertime Showdown! This contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the MECCA World Championship! Introducing first, the challenger... from Fairborn, Ohio, and weighing in at 228 lbs... he is a former MECCA Toughman and Tag Team Champion... Alaaaaan Maaaaayse! And his opponent, representing the House of Lords... from Westminster, Colorado, and weighing in at 175 lbs... he is the current reigning and defending MECCA World Heavyweight Champion... Roniiiiiin Fooooooox!
MECCA World Championship: Alan Mayse vs. Ronin Fox
Referee: David Bowers
(FINISH: Fox goes for the Tail End, but Mayse throws him off. He goes for the Tiger Bomb, but Fox backdrops him to counter. Alan rolls through with a sunset flip and keeps the arms hooked, standing up and hitting the move. Fox just barely kicks out at two, and Alan can't believe it. He goes for another Tiger Bomb, but Fox counters with a hurricanrana, sending Alan into the turnbuckles. He charges in, but Alan gives him an exploder into the turnbuckles. He pulls Fox up to the top rope, going for the top rope Tiger Bomb, but Fox counters in midair with the Tail End, planting Alan. Fox covers and gets the three count.)
Winner: Ronin Fox
David: Alan gave it all, but once again Fox has come out on top in a World Title match!
Dick: What a contest between these old rivals, but I can't believe the House of Lords has gone unbeaten tonight.
David: You'll have to join us for the fallout on Go Time, fans, because we're out of time. We'll see you then!
(Nykk and Cynric come out to congratulate Fox, and Alan is visibly upset in the ring.)
