No Regrets: 11/25/06

Philadelphia, PA

Dark Match: The Human Tornado vs. Cheesecake
Referee: Matt Hitchcock

(FINISH: Tornado goes for a flying body press, but Cheesecake rolls through and brings Tornado to his feet, hitting the Long Kiss Goodnight. He covers and gets the three count.)

Winner: Cheesecake

("Neocon" opening.)

David: We are here in one professional wrestling's greatest cities, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and we are live on FSN as MECCA presents No Regrets! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and what better place than Philly to have the first cage match in company history?

Dick: That's right, the rivalry explodes again tonight as Nykk takes on Ronin Fox inside of the fifteen foot high steel cage.

David: Not only that, but the first double champions in MECCA history, Alan Mayse and Eddie Crowe, will put their tag titles on the line in their first defense tonight against the Killer Kanines.

Dick: I don't know if anyone can stand up to the Wild Wolf and Anubis at this point, but if anyone can, it's MECCA's golden team.

David: Plus, a tag team dream match as the Backseat Boyz take on the Pyro Twins, and much more tonight on FSN!

("Still More Fighting" hits and Stage One make their way to the ring, along with David Caldwell.)

David: And how appropriate that this match takes place in Philadelphia. Not only do we have our first cage match tonight, but this tag team match will be Anything Goes.

Dick: This has been going on for a couple of months now, ever since the Surgeons debuted and beat Stage One. Now the David Caldwell Project wants to finish it.

("Body Bomb" hits and the Surgeons make their way to the ring.)

David: Matt Stryker and John Walters have had this thorn in their side since they debuted, though the David Caldwell Project has pretty much been a thorn in everyone's side, and it doesn't seem to be stopping, what with this Bikini Quest garbage.

Dick: Caldwell wants to make MECCA into sports entertainment, but that's the last thing two pure wrestlers like the Surgeons want.

David: Caldwell made the stipulation that if the Surgeons lose tonight, they would be suspended for ninety days. But he forgot that he wasn't the only one who could add stipulations to matches, as Katie Piehl declared that if Stage One loses, the team must split up.

(Caldwell gets a mic.)

Caldwell: Wait a minute, wait a minute... you Surgeons seem to think you have everything figured out. You even got Katie Piehl to try and save you by declaring that if my guys lose, their team has to split up. But before we get things underway, as co-owner of MECCA, there's one more stipulation I want to add, and that's the assignment of a special guest referee... ME! And Katie Piehl, if you want to add another stipulation in retaliation, you're too late, because this match begins now!

(Caldwell calls for the bell as Stage One attack the Surgeons.)

David: What a snake in the grass, as David Caldwell is reverting to his roots as a scab referee, and guess which side he's on!

Anything Goes Tag Team Match: The Surgeons vs. Stage One
Referee: David Caldwell

(FINISH: Stage One set up a table in the middle of the ring and then Saito beats down Stryker with some forearms. They try to put him through the table with a double spinebuster, but Walters comes in with a chair and hits Chan across the back. He throws the chair at Saito, but he catches it. He takes a swing at Walters, but he ducks and Walters kicks him. He delivers a powerbomb to Saito, who is still holding the chair, through the table. He holds Saito upside down as Stryker comes off the ropes and dropkicks the chair into Saito's face. He makes the cover and gets a very hesitant three count from Caldwell.)

Winners: The Surgeons

David: The Surgeons win this feud with Stage One, and now Jamie Chan and Ryan Saito are no longer allowed to team here in MECCA!

Dick: What a blow to the David Caldwell Project, and you can tell that Caldwell is not happy about this.

(The Surgeons flip off Caldwell as he throws his jacket onto the ground and has a tantrum. The Surgeons leave, and Caldwell starts berating Saito. He gets in the ring with a mic.)

Caldwell: I should have known that you would screw this up, Saito! That's all you've been doing for the past few weeks! But I'll tell you what... you're no longer a part of a tag team with Jamie Chan, and you're no longer a part of the David Caldwell Project! I am no longer entertained by you! Chan... if you want to save your own career, you know what needs to be done!

(Chan immediately attacks Saito from behind. Saito tries to fight back, but Caldwell hits him from behind with the microphone. Chan gives him an enzugiri, and then goes to the top rope, delivering a martial arts kick. He applies a standing crossface and then suplexes Saito, dumping him on his head. "Afternoon Delight" plays and Chan and Caldwell leave the ringside area.)

David: I guess we know where Jamie Chan's loyalties lie, as he and Caldwell have kicked Ryan Saito out of the David Caldwell Project, and Chan knew he was redeeming himself there.

Dick: Stage One is no more, but Jamie Chan will be staying with the David Caldwell Project for the time being.

David: We have much more action to get to tonight, including a dream tag team match up next, as the Pyro Twins take on the Backseat Boyz!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "The Chase" hits and the Backseat Boyz make their way to the ring.)

David: It's time for a tag team dream match, as Johnny Kashmere and Trent Acid make their way to the ring for what's sure to be a battle.

Dick: One of the best teams of the East Coast to wage war against one of the best from the Midwest, and the Backseats are looking ready to make their mark here in MECCA.

("Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)

David: The Pyro Twins are former MECCA Tag Team Champions, and have never backed down from a challenge. All it took was one sneak attack from the Backseat Boyz to set them on the path for this match.

Dick: We saw what the Pyro Twins did to the UK Wrecking Crew, and the Backseats better be careful they don't decide to do the same to them.

The Pyro Twins vs. The Backseat Boyz
Referee: Keith Young

(FINISH: Jay and Dusty throw Kashmere into the corner and prepare for Final Darkness, but Kashmere ducks and Acid charges over him with a double clothesline on the Pyro Twins. The Backseats go for the Tag Team Dream Sequence on Jay, but Dusty intercepts Kashmere and hits the Rope Burn. They hit Final Darkness on Acid and Jay covers, but Kashmere distracts the ref. Dusty comes over, but Kashmere tosses him through the ropes and spears Jay. He and Acid give Jay the T-Gimmick and Acid covers, but Dusty manages to dive in and break it up. He backdrops Kashmere over the top rope and kicks Acid in the face, giving him a uranage suplex. He goes to the top rope as Jay gives Acid a backbreaker. However, Kashmere comes in with a dropkick on Jay and then gives Dusty a forearm to the back. He and Acid climb the ropes and give Dusty a super T-Gimmick. Acid covers and gets the three count.)

Winners: The Backseat Boyz

David: I don't believe it! The Pyro Twins have been beaten!

Dick: That's one of the toughest victories you'll ever have to pull out in tag team wrestling, and the Backseats just did it. These guys will have a great future here in MECCA if the Pyro Twins don't kill them first.

David: We'll have to see how the Pyro Twins are going to take this loss, but up next, another dream match for the fans of MECCA, as finally Kevin Stone meets Low Ki one on one!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)

David: Just who is the biggest and baddest of them all here in MECCA? According to the MECCA Monster, it's him, but we'll find out in this match that fans have been clamoring for quite some time now.

Dick: It's the battle of strong style. Just who can hit the hardest? Kevin Stone seems to think it's him, and he did win the Stiff Strike Challenge a month ago for the second year running. He can definitely back up his claims.

("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)

David: Low Ki has come close on several occasions to becoming the MECCA Champion, a belt that Stone has held in the past. But despite his luck in the title picture, Ki has always been one of the stiffest guys here.

Dick: You have to watch out for those deadly feet of his. And if you let him take to the air, you might as well kiss your ass goodbye. Stone would be wise to neutralize those weapons.

Low Ki vs. Kevin Stone
Referee: David Bowers

(FINISH: Low Ki hits the Tidal Crush, and then lifts Stone for the Ki Krusher. He manages to get him up, but Stone counters into the Stone Cutter. He quickly covers, but Ki barely kicks out at two. He sets up for the big boot, but Low Ki catches his foot and gives him a dragonscrew, sending Stone into the corner. Ki follows up with a charging rolling koppo kick, and then springboards off the second rope to hit the Tidal Wave. Stone still won't go down, but is staggering, and Low Ki manages to hit the Ki Krusher. However, Stone also barely kicks out at two. Ki whips him into the ropes, but Stone reverses. Ki dropkicks the knee and then hits a hooking heel kick to send Stone to the mat. He goes up top for a double stomp and hits it. However, when Ki goes to cover, Stone hooks him in a triangle hold and starts hitting Ki in the face with hard right hands. Ki is trapped, and Stone continues to hammer away on him. Finally, Ki manages to get a foot on the bottom rope and Stone has to release before the ref can stop the match. Stone tells the crowd that it's over, and he lifts Ki into a military press. But when he drops him for a powerslam, Ki holds on and counters with the Dragon Clutch. However, Stone rams him back first into the corner to break it up. He tries to catch Ki with the Stone Crusher, but Ki lands on his feet and hits a rolling koppo kick, sending Stone into the corner. However, Stone charges out with a lariat. Ki ducks it, but Stone immediately turns and connects with one to the back of the head. As Ki gets up, Stone bounces off the ropes and finally connects with a big boot, knocking Ki out. He covers and gets the three count.)

Winner: Kevin Stone

David: The MECCA Monster has proved triumphant, but what a performance by Low Ki, managing to kick out of the Stone Cutter, which I don't think anyone's ever done before.

Dick: Ki was matching him strike for strike, and had Stone just as badly beaten up as he was. It was just a matter of who could get that knockout blow first, as neither man was going to allow themselves to be pinned or submit.

(As Stone celebrates, Bowers helps Low Ki to his feet. Ki soaks in the crowd's applause, and then extends his hand to Stone. Stone blows him off and exits the ring, but Ki just stands there with his hand extended. Stone stops midway up the aisle with his hands on his hips and comes back to the ring. He gets in Ki's face again, and shoves him back but then shakes his hand and embraces him.)

David: Kevin Stone is showing sportsmanship, as Ki recognized him as the better man, and Stone is recognizing Low Ki as perhaps his toughest opponent ever.

Dick: I don't know if these two will be friends or not, but there's a mutual respect between them that can only be had between two competitors who take each other to the absolute limit.

David: We'll be back with more action here at No Regrets!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Hybrid Stigmata" hit and Delirious makes his way to the ring.)

David: Here comes the crazy man Delirious, and we are back at No Regrets with this match that was signed just three days ago on Go Time.

Dick: Delirious is up against Bryan Danielson, who has been on a roll since refocusing his energy on working himself up to a World Title shot. He hasn't been beaten since then, but then again Delirious is probably the toughest competition he's faced so far.

("The Final Countdown" hits and Bryan Danielson makes his way to the ring.)

David: The American Dragon wants back on the Contender Star, and he might just get that opportunity if he can beat Delirious tonight. This match came about as a result of Danielson beating Delirious's partner the Human Tornado and then refusing to let go of the Cattle Mutilation. That prompted Delirious to run in and make Danielson let go, in his own way of course.

Dick: Danielson was angry that Delirious would stick his nose in his business, and so this match will happen right now.

Delirious vs. Bryan Danielson
Referee: Matt Hitchcock

(FINISH: Danielson applies Cattle Mutilation, but Delirious manages to get a foot on the bottom rope. Danielson releases the hold, telling the ref he has 'till five. He kicks Delirious in the face and sets him on the top rope, hitting a backdrop superplex. He applies the Crossface Chickenwing, but Delirious manages to work his way to his feet and kick off the top turnbuckle, somersaulting back onto Danielson for a two count. Danielson releases the hold so he can kick out, and Delirious gets up and punts Danielson in the face with a kick. He goes to the top rope and hits Shadows Over Hell, getting a two count. He goes for the Chemical Imbalance #2, but Danielson counters with a drop toehold and spins over on Delirious, hitting him with elbows to the side of the head. Delirious powers up with Danielson in a fireman's carry, but Danielson counters into a crucifix. He gets a two count as Delirious rolls forward, but that opens him up for more elbows from Danielson. Finally, Delirious is out and the ref pulls Danielson off and calls for the bell.)

Winner: Bryan Danielson

David: Danielson won the match with those deadly elbows, and will now move farther up in the rankings of MECCA.

Dick: Delirious gave it a good shot, but he was up against the best in the world, who has been perfecting those elbows for quite some time, though he just recently debuted them here in MECCA.

David: We'll see if Danielson can get a shot at the Contender Star out of this, but when we come back, the first double champions in MECCA history put their tag titles on the line as Eddie Crowe and Alan Mayse take on the Killer Kanines!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "Kobrakai" hits and the Killer Kanines make their way to the ring.)

David: It's time for the first of two title matches tonight, as Anubis and the Wild Wolf finally get their title shot after several victories over top teams here in MECCA.

Dick: These two have improved drastically since debuting a year ago, but they've got one tough tandem to get by to secure those belts.

("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe and Alan Mayse make their way to the ring, holding up all their respective belts.)

David: Crowe and Mayse became the first double champions in MECCA ten days ago when they defeated Ronin Fox and Cynric for the tag titles. Of course, Crowe is already MECCA World Champion and Mayse is the Toughman Champion, and they hold all four male belts in MECCA between them.

Dick: But with that comes a much harder schedule, and it remains to be seen if they can keep all their titles for long of if the ride ends here tonight.

MECCA Tag Team Championship: Eddie Crowe and Alan Mayse vs. The Killer Kanines
Referee: Keith Young

(FINISH: Anubis goes for the Ankh Smash on Alan, but he ducks and spears the Wild Wolf through the ropes to the outside. Eddie hits Anubis with a missile dropkick, staggering him. He hits him with a standing dropkick to send him into the corner and then hits a charging dropkick, and Anubis finally falls to the mat. Alan sends Wolf back into the ring, and Eddie picks him up and hits the running brainbuster. Alan puts Wolf in a bow-and-arrow lock, and Eddie jumps to the second rope for the Eddie Dive. However, Anubis catches Eddie and counters into a spinebuster. Alan hits Anubis with rights and tries an exploder, but Anubis elbows him in the head. Alan ducks a clothesline and rolls Anubis up, but Young informs him that Eddie's the legal man. Eddie gets back up and they try a double suplex on Anubis, but Wolf pulls Anubis down and Anubis gives them a double clothesline. Wolf hits Alan with the Twig Snap, and Anubis sets Eddie on the top turnbuckle. They give him the Dog Catcher, and Anubis covers Eddie for the three count as Wolf prevents Alan from making the save.)

Winners: The Killer Kanines

David: The Killer Kanines have worked hard for almost a year, and now that work has paid off. We have new Tag Team Champions!

Dick: The reign of our double champions didn't last long, and as unfortunate as it is that their reign ended on their first title defense, that's what happens when you take two singles wrestlers who are already champions and put them up against a more experienced and hungry team.

David: And Anubis got the pin on our World Champion. Keep in mind that Anubis won the Wild Card Battle Royale a month ago guaranteeing him a title match of his choice, and he could be going for double gold as well.

(Alan and Eddie start to bicker on the outside, and eventually Alan storms over to the timekeeper's table and takes his Toughman Title, telling Eddie that his belt still means more and storms out of the arena.)

David: Alan and Eddie have been on shaky ground from the start due to this belt rivalry, but up next is the second of our title matches tonight as Shadow defends her Ladies' Title in a Four Way Dance!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, "What You Waiting For" hits and LuFisto makes her way to the ring.)

David: We're back here at the second annual No Regrets live on FSN, and could lightning strike twice? We just saw new tag champs as the Killer Kanines won their very first tag title.

Dick: Now we have a Four Way Dance for the Ladies' Title, and there are three possibilities for new champs, including the First Lady of Hardcore LuFisto.

("Brackish" hits and Gail Kim makes her way to the ring.)

David: Gail Kim is the longest reigning Ladies' Champion in MECCA history before she lost it back in June to the competitor we just saw enter, LuFisto.

Dick: Kim is certainly capable of taking that title back, and the others in this match need to watch out for her seemingly endless list of submission holds.

("Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart makes her way to the ring.)

David: The only lady in this match to not hold the title, Kelly Schweickart certainly could change that tonight.

Dick: Kelly is my pick for Most Improved of 2006. If she's not holding the title at the end of this night, it won't be long.

("Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow makes her way to the ring.)

David: Shadow won her second Ladies' Championship a month ago at Scared Stiff from LuFisto, and she was not happy when she found out she was defending it against three other ladies here at No Regrets.

Dick: Shadow tends to avoid those she perceives to be a threat to her belt, as we saw in her first title reign, but tonight she's faced with three huge threats and she can't do anything about it.

Four Way Dance for the MECCA Ladies' Championship: LuFisto vs. Gail Kim vs. Kelly Schweickart vs. Shadow
Referee: Nikki Alvarado

(FINISH: The match goes a long time without an elimination, but finally Gail manages to get Kelly in the Christo. However, LuFisto comes up from behind and rolls Kelly up with a schoolgirl rollup, pinning both hers and Kim's shoulders to the mat for the three count. LuFisto tells Shadow that she's all alone with her now, and she's getting her belt back now. After some back and forth action, Shadow backdrops LuFisto to the ring apron. She turns around and nails her with the Interceptor, sending LuFisto to the floor. Shadow seems content to take a count out victory and plays to the crowd, paying no attention as LuFisto crawls under the ring and out the other side. She grabs Shadow's boots and trips her, dragging her to the outside and nailing her with forearms. She whips her into the guardrail and then puts her back in the ring. She goes for a Michinoku Driver, but Shadow escapes and rolls LuFisto up, somersaulting backwards into a reverse victory roll, hooking the legs and getting the three count.)

Winner: Shadow

David: Shadow barely escapes with her title, and what a heartbreaking loss for LuFisto after eliminating the other two competitors in the match at the same time.

Dick: LuFisto will have to wait for another day, but for now Shadow will continue as Ladies' Champion.

David: Up next is our main event. MECCA's first ever Steel Cage Match, and how fitting that it will supposedly end one of the biggest rivalries in wrestling today, Nykk vs. Ronin Fox when we come back!

(Commercial Break)

(In the arena, the cage is being set up by the ring crew.)

David: We're back, and we took an extra long commercial break so that we could get this cage set up, as well as have more airtime for the match itself. This whole chapter of the Nykk vs. Fox rivalry started back in August, when Fox accidentally nailed Lisa Letty with a trash-masher that he was aiming at Nykk. Lisa suffered from temporary paralysis, and has been out of action since then. Nykk left MECCA for a time to take care of her, but now he's back and he's intent on ending Fox's career in this cage.

("Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)

David: Nykk tried to get Fox to accept this challenge for weeks, and finally he was able to beat acceptance out of Fox. But when Fox struck back at Nykk, it was with a vengeance, and he doesn't seem to be scared of what Nykk plans to do to him anymore.

Dick: He has to be a little nervous, however, as Nykk has come close to ending Fox's career in the past.

("Did My Time" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)

David: Ronin Fox and Nykk are such equals in the ring that you can never tell just who is going to come out on top. They've both kicked out of things that would have put any other opponent away, so they're forced to get very creative with each other in that ring.

Dick: But this is inside the steel cage, which is a much different environment than anything they've ever wrestled in before.

Steel Cage Match: Nykk vs. Ronin Fox
Referee: David Bowers

(FINISH: Nykk tries to climb the cage and escape, but Fox goes to the top rope with him and hammers him with rights. He sets up Nykk to piledrive him on the top turnbuckle, but Nykk powers out and keeps climbing, with Fox on his back. Fox gets his feet at the top of the cage and hammers on Nykk some more, but Nykk hooks him for the Nykkochet and takes him all the way back to the middle of the mat with a northern lights superplex. However, Nykk is too hurt to go for the second part of the move or make the cover. He crawls toward the cage door, and officials open it for him. When he's almost out, Fox grabs his foot and drags him back in with the last of his strength. Nykk gets to his feet and gives Fox an enzugiri. He goes to the turnbuckles and climbs, but grabs Fox by the hair and pulls him up with him. He puts Fox back on top of the cage and yells for an Aurora Driver. He hooks Fox, but Fox fights him and tries a Tail End from the top. However, Nykk just rams him back into the cage, and Fox kicks Nykk in the chest. Nykk grabs the cage to keep from falling back to the mat, and while he's in an almost horizontal position, Fox goes to the top of the cage and moonsaults backwards, catching Nykk with the Foxfire all the way to the mat. They lie motionless, but Fox manages to drape an arm over Nykk for the three count.)

Winner: Ronin Fox

David: I don't believe it, Fox managed to pull out the victory after nearly being crippled by Nykk in this cage!

Dick: This isn't the ending that Nykk wanted, but Fox managed to score his first victory over Nykk here in MECCA, and that's definitely an accomplishment for him.

(Fox waves to the back, and Cynric comes out with two steel chairs. He enters the ring and then takes a padlock from his pocket. Bowers, sensing what he's about to do, tries to stop Cynric, but he clobbers Bowers with the padlock and throws him into the cage. Bowers falls to the mat, and the other officials pull him out of the ring. Cynric kicks him out and shuts the door, putting the padlock on it as Fox gets a chair.)

David: Oh, no... they're going to do to Nykk what he said he was going to do to Ronin Fox. They're going to end his career right here!

(Fox and Cynric go for a Conchairto, but Nykk ducks and they smack the chairs together. Nykk bounces off the ropes and dropkicks the chairs into the brothers' faces. He hits them with right hands, but when he backs Fox into the corner to choke him, Cynric clips the knee and Nykk falls into the corner. As they put the boots to Nykk, a hole opens up in the mat, and Lisa Letty emerges, holding a trash-masher. Nykk sees her and tackles Cynric, taking him to the mat. Fox turns around and Lisa rams the trash-masher right into his face, knocking him nearly unconscious. Nykk throws Cynric into the cage, and then Lisa gives him the trash-masher. Nykk tells Fox to get up, and Fox slowly gets to his feet. Nykk prepares to swing the trash-masher right at the back of his head, but the officials finally have a set of bolt cutters and use it to cut the padlock. As Nykk takes a swing, Cynric spears Fox to get him out of the way and pulls him out of the cage. Nykk tries to follow, but the officials stop him.)

David: Nykk almost got his wish after all, thanks to some help from his girlfriend Lisa Letty, who has returned to MECCA! And how sweet that must have been for Lisa to get revenge on Fox after all these months!

Dick: Someone better get control of Nykk. I don't think this cage is going to stop him.

(Nykk tries to fight with the officials, but Lisa grabs him by the arm. Nykk turns his attention to her, and she embraces him. Nykk hugs her back as "Edge of Seventeen" plays.)

David: Nykk may not have gotten what he wanted tonight, but his girlfriend is back at his side here in MECCA, and the couple is standing tall.

Dick: I think we all knew deep down that this match would settle nothing, but at least Fox left the arena with only a few bruises and possibly a concussion. Nykk had much worse things in mind for him.

David: That's all the time we have here at No Regrets. Thank you for joining us here on FSN, and we'll be back for Go Time this Wednesday as well as on pay-per-view on December 30 for New Year's Knockout!
