Bloody Valentine: 2/11/06

Milwaukee, WI

("Bohemian Like You" by the Dandy Warhols hits, and David Mills and Dick Broccoli are in the ring.)

David: We are just thirty minutes away from MECCA's return to pay-per-view with Bloody Valentine, and what a show we have for all of you right here in Milwaukee!

Dick: That's right, two of MECCA's championships are on the line, and of course, in the main event Kevin Stone defends the MECCA Championship against Alan Mayse.

David: And the tag titles will be defended, as Eddie Crowe and Joey Sprinklers challenge the UK Wrecking Crew for possession of the belts. Of course, that's not all as MECCA will sanction its first ever mixed-tag match as Nykk teams with Lisa Letty to take on the husband and wife couple of Charlie Haas and Jackie. This all started as an issue between Nykk and Haas, but then the ladies got involved.

Dick: Lisa definitely wants at Jackie for jumping her and putting her in the Haas of Pain on Go Time, and she has a chance to get revenge right here tonight.

(A video plays, chronicling the events leading up to Nykk/Lisa vs. Haas/Jackie.)

(Backstage, David Caldwell is standing by with Kelly Schweickart.)

Caldwell: Kelly, tonight you will be part of a Four Corners Match where if Ladies' Champion Gail Kim takes the fall, the winner will get a title shot against her at Melee. You've been chasing the title for a couple of months now, and have failed miserably at being Ladies' Champion. What makes you think that tonight will give you another chance at the gold?

Kelly: First of all, I know there will be no outside interference from the Dangerous Liaison, because LuFisto is not here tonight, and Misery wouldn't dare interfere and favor either Shadow or Kim. Zoe Alexander, you've been on my side through thick and thin in this feud, but tonight our friendship is put on hold, because this all started at Snowed In, when I had the Ladies' Title in my grasp only to have it taken away at literally the last second. Kim, tonight I'm doing what I would have done then and that's pin your shoulders to the mat. And next month at Melee, lightning strikes thrice and I walk away with the Ladies' Championship.

(In the arena, "Pajamarama" hits and the Eccentrics make their way to the ring.)

David: We're getting ready for our warm-up match as we get set to go live on pay-per-view. Every tag team in MECCA is angling to get a title shot at the MECCA Challenge, and the tag team division has really stepped it up in recent weeks.

Dick: The Eccentrics are former champions, but they haven't had any luck against the champs since they lost the belts. They need this win to get back in contention.

("Kobrakai" hits and the Killer Kanines make their way to the ring.)

David: The Wild Wolf and Anubis have been dominating everyone they've stepped in the ring with, but this will be their strongest challenge to date.

Dick: As unlikely as that seems, the Eccentrics have a great deal more experience as a team and in wrestling in general. It will be interesting to see if the young upstarts can get past them.

Countdown Match: The Eccentrics vs. The Killer Kanines
Referee: David Bowers

(FINISH: Cheesecake ducks under a running clothesline in the corner from Anubis and manages to give him a lungblower. The Wild Wolf comes in, but Cheesecake gives him a drop toehold and segues right into the Flathead. He covers, but Ronin Fox and Cynric run down and pull Cheesecake off by the ankle. Huh dives off the apron onto the both of them and beats on them, with Cheesecake coming out to join him. He eats a baseball slide from the Wild Wolf, and gets counted out by Bowers.)

Winners: The Killer Kanines

David: Ronin Fox and Cynric get involved with the Eccentrics again, and they just cost them this match.

Dick: The Killer Kanines look upset. They wanted a more decisive victory. But Fox and Cynric better get out of here, because their match with the Pyro Twins is first when we go on pay-per-view.

(Fox and Cynric run to the back to save their energy, and the Eccentrics chase them. The Killer Kanines stare after them until "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)

David: Now what's going on? We're still about five minutes from the pay-per-view, and I guess the MECCA Monster is going to speak his mind.

(Stone tells the Kanines to leave, and they respectfully obey him. Stone gets a mic.)

Stone: I would love to say that tonight you people are going to get a classic encounter, one that may end up in Match of the Year polls, but unfortunately, that's not what's going to happen. You see, Alan Mayse is so far out of my league that he has a twenty minute drive just to stand in my shadow. I'm sorry to disappoint the fans and MECCA and our distributors, but tonight's main event is going to be so one sided that when I hand my wife my very own bloody valentine, it will be Mayse's beating heart. In any case, he's so busy concentrating on a secondary championship, one that will never rival this title, especially while I hold it...

(Stone looks over and sees Alan staring at him from outside the ring. Alan grabs his own mic and gets inside.)

Alan: You're right, Kevin. I am currently competing for another title, and when I walk into the MECCA Challenge on April 29, I will not only become the first Toughman Champion, but I will also be defending the MECCA Heavyweight Championship. You can say that you're going to rip out my heart all you want, but the fact of the matter is that no one you have faced has logged the amount of time holding a major championship that I have. Tonight, you fight for your very career, because I stop you just as you're gaining momentum. That title is mine, and this Valentine's Day, when Cupid's arrow strikes you in the heart, you'll still be feeling my foot striking you in your ass!

(Stone throws the mic and the title to one side, ready for a fight. Alan throws away his mic, and a host of officials come out and get between them.)

David: It's going to be a war tonight on pay-per-view. We'll be right back with Bloody Valentine!

("Bohemian Like You" opening.)

David: Welcome to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and thank you once again for joining the Midwestern Establishment of Competitive Combat Arts live on pay-per-view for Bloody Valentine! I'm David Mills, he's Dick Broccoli, and in the main event Alan Mayse will challenge Kevin Stone for the MECCA Championship.

Dick: And the first ever mixed tag match in MECCA history will take place as Nykk and Lisa Letty battle Charlie Haas and Jackie.

David: We've also got a ladies' four-way, and a MECCA Tag Team Championship match, plus much more.

("Soul Creation" hits and Ronin Fox and Cynric make their way to the ring.)

David: We just saw these two on the countdown show, costing Huh and Cheesecake their match against the Killer Kanines, putting a beating on them afterwards.

Dick: Fox and Cynric are locked in this feud with the Eccentrics, and who knows where it's going to end.

("Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)

David: But this is their biggest challenge as a team to date, as they'll be facing Dusty Schneble and Jay Crowe right here on pay-per-view.

Dick: These two teams met in that big ten-man tag this past week on Go Time, and both of these teams need the win if they want to challenge for the tag titles.

The Pyro Twins vs. Ronin Fox and Cynric
Referee: Keith Young

(FINISH: The Pyro Twins hit Cynric with the Compactor, and Jay tells Dusty to go up top. He gives Cynric a backbreaker, and Dusty comes off with the Mandate of Heaven. Dusty covers and gets a two count as Fox breaks it up. Jay attacks Fox and whips him into the ropes, but Cynric hits a low blow on Jay, and Fox hits him with the Tail End. Cynric gives Dusty a jawbreaker, and then picks him up for a wheelbarrow suplex as Fox bounces off the ropes and delivers a clothesline at the same time. Cynric puts Dusty on his shoulders, and Fox goes to the top for the Dead End. However, Jay crawls over to Cynric and trips him. Cynric loses his balance and Dusty takes him over in a victory roll, getting the three count as Fox leaps into nothing.)

Winners: The Pyro Twins

David: The Pyro Twins pulled out the victory, and are definitely on the right track to a tag title shot.

Dick: I can't think of how else they can prove themselves worthy, and if I were the UK Wrecking Crew, I'd be looking over my shoulders right about now.

David: Up next, we have a Four Corners Match for the right to be number one contender to Gail Kim. If Kim takes the fall, the winner will get a shot at her belt at Melee. This was originally a Triangle Match between Kim, Zoe Alexander and Kelly Schweickart, but Katie Piehl added Shadow to the mix after all her complaining about not receiving a title shot.

("Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow makes her way to the ring.)

David: Here comes Shadow now, who for all intents and purposes, is the former leader of the Dangerous Liaison since Gail Kim won the belt.

Dick: Leadership can be found in success, and Shadow wants that mantle as leader back, even if she has to fight her own teammate to get it.

("TKO" hits and Zoe Alexander makes her way to the ring.)

David: Zoe Alexander put up a good showing against Gail Kim back at New Year's Knockout, and this could be the break she's been looking for.

Dick: Zoe is a tough competitor, and though she seems to be the underdog in this match, it could work to her advantage.

("Brackish" hits and Gail Kim makes her way to the ring.)

David: The Ladies' Champion does not want to let go of that belt, and will face three other competitors here to try and prevent them from challenging her.

Dick: She says it's because she'd rather decide her own challengers, but we know that she can be beaten.

("Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart makes her way to the ring.)

David: Kelly would have been Ladies' Champion back at Snowed In, if interference from Shadow hadn't saved the title.

Dick: It's an uphill battle for a rematch, but Kelly looks up to the challenge.

Four Corners Number One Contender's Match: Gail Kim vs. Kelly Schweickart vs. Shadow vs. Zoe Alexander
Referee: Nikki Alvarado

(FINISH: Shadow gets dropkicked to the outside by Kelly, and Zoe goes for a double axehandle off the apron, but Shadow moves and Zoe crashes into the guardrail. Shadow gets a double leg pickup and rams her into the guardrail again. In the ring, Gail gets Kelly in the Christo, but Shadow comes in and gives Gail a running boot to the head. She hits Kelly with some forearms and then bounces off the ropes. She goes for the Interceptor, but Kelly ducks and Shadow nails Gail. Kelly gives Shadow an enzugiri and then covers Gail to get the three count.)

Winner: Kelly Schweickart

David: Kelly Schweickart has earned a rematch with Gail Kim at Melee!

Dick: But it wasn't Kelly that knocked Gail out for the pin, it was Shadow. Talk about bad timing.

David: Nevertheless, Kelly took advantage and she will now be facing Kim at Melee. Up next, the tag titles will be on the line as Eddie Crowe and Joey Sprinklers are set to challenge the UK Wrecking Crew. This all started at Snowed In, when Joey was beaten down by the UK Wrecking Crew. He came out the next week on Go Time to make the save for Eddie, and a new team was formed. After a victory over the Ballard Brothers, they were deemed worthy enough to challenge for the belts.

("Noots" hits and Eddie Crowe and Joey Sprinklers make their way to the ring.)

David: Eddie and Joey are an unlikely team, but seem to be effective nonetheless. Eddie decided that the best way to get revenge on the UK Wrecking Crew would be to take their titles, and Joey stepped up to be his partner.

Dick: Joey Sprinklers definitely wants to make a name for himself, and he's tried to do that by winning the tag titles before.

("Ironman" hits and the UK Wrecking Crew make their way to the ring, along with the Grenadiers.)

David: The UK Wrecking Crew have held those belts for almost a year, with the exception of three weeks when the Eccentrics had possession of the titles. They're not about to give up their gold easily.

Dick: And with those Grenadiers at ringside, there will be no interference from the Pyro Twins to help Eddie.

MECCA Tag Team Championship: Eddie Crowe and Joey Sprinklers vs. The UK Wrecking Crew
Referee: Matt Hitchcock

(FINISH: Eddie hits Fletcher with a Backslide Bomb and then runs over and forearms Nathans off the apron. Fletcher gets up in the corner and eats a running dropkick from Eddie. Joey tags himself in as Eddie hits a flatliner and applies the Crowe's Nest. Joey goes to the top rope and dropkicks Fletcher as he's still in the hold. He turns him over and gets a close two count as Nathans breaks it up. Eddie attacks Nathans, but Nathans drops down and pulls down the second rope, dumping Eddie to the outside. Joey hits Nathans with some forearms and gives him a Gory Bomb. He goes to the second rope and jumps off for a double axehandle, but Nathans catches him and hits a spinebuster. He turns Joey over, and he and Fletcher hit the Wrecking Ball. Fletcher covers and gets the three count as Nathans baseball slides into Eddie to prevent him from getting back in the ring.)

Winners: The UK Wrecking Crew

David: Eddie and Joey gave an impressive effort, but the UWKC's teamwork was just too much for them to handle.

Dick: Eddie and Joey definitely could have used a bit more matches as a team going into this one. There's no way Joey should have tagged himself back in so soon.

(Fletcher gets a mic as Nathans brings Eddie back into the ring and starts beating on him.)

Fletcher: Now we're getting into familiar territory. Eddie, you will never get the better of us, especially not with this goof as your partner.

(Joey lunges at him, but Nathans intercepts him, and Fletcher beats him down with the microphone. They tie him up in the ropes and continue beating Eddie.)

Fletcher: Where's your brother, Eddie? Where's your best friend Dusty? They can't stop us. We are the UK Wrecking Crew... we wreck careers and we wreck lives. We're unstoppable!

(The Pyro Twins run out to the ring, but they can't get through the Grenadiers, who keep them at bay. Nathans takes the mic.)

Nathans: You see? You can't get to us, Pyro Twins. You should never have even tried in the first place. This all started one year ago, and we're going to end it very soon. We promise that.

(Fletcher gives Eddie the Union Jack, and they leave through the crowd as "Ironman" plays.)

David: What did they mean by that?

Dick: I don't know, but they seem to have realized that the Pyro Twins are going to get them in the ring sooner or later.

David: Nonetheless, the UK Wrecking Crew retains the MECCA Tag Team Championship.

(The Grenadiers leave, and Dusty and Jay help Eddie and Joey from the ring as "Hybrid Stigmata" hits and Delirious makes his way to the ring.)

David: We have a bonus match for you tonight on pay-per-view, and it will be a rematch from Go Time: Night of Champions as Delirious is out here representing the Eccentric Alliance.

Dick: I'm not sure how you can justify calling anything with Delirious in it a bonus, but I guess we'll see.

("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)

David: It was at Night of Champions where Low Ki reclaimed a spot on the Contender Star by beating Delirious, and now Delirious has a chance to redeem that loss.

Dick: Like he even knows it. This is just another day for him. You think he gets paid with dead rats like I heard?

David: I don't know, but it's not going to be an easy task getting Low Ki off the Contender Star.

Delirious vs. Low Ki
Referee: David Bowers

(FINISH: Low Ki dominates the match, but misses a Tidal Crush into the corner. Delirious bites the hurt leg and then whips Low Ki into the ropes, hitting BAM! Low Ki ducks another clothesline, but Delirious backs up and tricks him into ramming himself into the turnbuckles. Delirious dropkicks him from behind, and Low Ki sits up in the corner. Delirious hits the Panic Attack, and then goes for the Chemical Imbalance #2. Low Ki lands on his feet and hits a standing enzugiri, followed by a double stomp to the shoulder blades. He picks Delirious up and gives him the Krush Rush, followed by the Ki Krusher for the three count.)

Winner: Low Ki

David: Low Ki remains on the Contender Star, and will definitely be seeking another shot at Kevin Stone soon, since his first title shot back on MECCA's first anniversary ended in a very unclean way.

Dick: Low Ki definitely has what it takes to be MECCA Champion, and I hope he gets his due.

David: Up next will be the first ever mixed tag match in MECCA's history. This whole thing started because Nykk and Charlie Haas didn't like each other, and it has escalated to include Charlie's wife Jackie, and Nykk's friend, the First Lady of MECCA Lisa Letty. Let's take a look at a video package showing just how that happened.

(Video recap of the Nykk and Lisa vs. Haas and Jackie feud, set to "Bohemian Like You.")

(In the arena, "Liberi Fatali" hits and Charlie Haas and Jackie make their way to the ring.)

David: Haas came to MECCA to prove that he's tougher than our top competitors, but he quickly found Nykk standing in his way.

Dick: Haas has fared well thus far, but Nykk realizes that he's fighting for MECCA's reputation.

("Destroy" hits and Nykk and Lisa Letty make their way to the ring.)

David: Nykk and Lisa started hanging around together shortly after Nykk saved her from an attack by Kevin Stone, and they've been pretty much inseparable since, which led to Lisa getting involved in this feud to keep Jackie at bay.

Dick: They make a cute couple, don't they?

David: Well, they claim that they're just good friends, and you don't argue with the boss.

Mixed Tag Team Match: Nykk and Lisa Letty vs. Charlie Haas and Jackie
Referee: Keith Young

(The bell rings, and Nykk and Haas start it off. They circle and lock up, jockeying for position until they break apart. Haas wipes some sweat from his forehead and flings it at Nykk, and they lock up again. They jockey for position until they break apart again, and this time Nykk slaps Haas. Haas goes to lock up again, and Nykk knees him in the midsection. He gets a double leg takedown, but Haas turns over and spins out, getting behind Nykk into a waistlock. Nykk sits out and hooks the arm, spinning Haas around and going for another double leg takedown. Haas sprawls out and spins around Nykk. Nykk sits out again, and Haas points to his own head and tries to dropkick Nykk, but Nykk lies down and Haas sails over him. Nykk gives him an armdrag, followed by a hiptoss, and then hits a running leg lariat. Haas gets to his feet in his corner, and Jackie wants the tag. Haas gives it to her, and Young tells Nykk he has to tag out now. Nykk tags in Lisa, and Jackie challenges her. Lisa goes after her, but Jackie ducks out of the ring and runs for it. Lisa chases her around the ring, and then follows her back in. Lisa comes face to face with Haas as Jackie sneaks around behind her and forearms her in the back. She waistlocks Lisa, and Lisa bends down as Nykk comes in. He springboards off of Jackie's back and hits Haas with a plancha. Lisa escapes from Jackie's grasp and gives her a standing enzugiri. They give Haas and Jackie stereo snap suplexes and then turn them over. They pull Jackie over to Haas and wrap their legs together in a double crossed leglace. Nykk and Lisa stand back and laugh as each time Haas and Jackie try to break the hold, they end up putting pressure on the other. After being trapped together for a few moments, Young frees them from the hold and Nykk and Lisa give them stereo dropkicks to the head. Haas and Jackie roll out of the ring as Nykk and Lisa celebrate. Haas and Jackie regroup, and then Haas gets back in the ring with Nykk. Nykk takes him over with a northern lights suplex and gets a two count. He gives Haas a rolling Samoan Drop and then goes to the top rope, delivering a double axehandle. He hits a back suplex and then rolls through for the German, but Haas does a standing switch and hits a release German of his own. He tags Jackie in, and she kicks Nykk in the face. Nykk rolls over and Lisa tags herself in, but Jackie runs from her and tags Haas back in. As Young tries to get Jackie to leave, Haas confronts Lisa, and Nykk crawls over to crouch behind him. Lisa charges Haas with a shoulder block, and he falls backwards over Nykk, who rolls him up for a two count. Nykk gives him a DDT, but Jackie comes in and rakes his back. Haas rams Nykk into the corner and tags Jackie in. He charges Nykk, but Nykk sidesteps him. He crashes into the turnbuckles, and Lisa and Nykk whip Jackie into him and then into the opposite corner. Nykk lifts Lisa as if for a back suplex, and then rams her feet into Haas's chest. He runs her across the ring and does the same to Jackie. He runs her back across the ring and lets her take Haas over with a hurricanrana. Lisa gives Jackie a clothesline and then hits a butterfly suplex. She tries to segue into the Letty Stretch, but Jackie puts a foot on the ropes. Lisa backs off, but when she moves back in, Jackie gives her a drop toehold. She pounds Lisa with forearms, but Lisa fights back. She whips Jackie into the ropes and gives her a back body drop. She gives her the Letty Driver, but Haas pulls her off of Jackie by the ankle. Nykk tries to come in, but Young stops him. Lisa bounces off the ropes, but Haas hits her from behind. Jackie applies an abdominal stretch, and uses Haas for extra leverage behind Young's back. He finally realizes what's going on and kicks their hands apart. Lisa gives Jackie a hiptoss and makes the tag to Nykk. He and Haas come in, and Nykk gives him a running back elbow. He gives him a backbreaker, and then goes for the Cedarleaf, but Jackie comes back in. Nykk lifts her in a military press and throws her onto Haas. He catches her, but Nykk spins and sweeps Haas's leg so that he falls with Jackie on top of him. Nykk drops an elbow on the pair and then goes to the top rope. He goes for the Swan Splash, but they both move and Nykk crashes to the mat. Haas gives Nykk a powerbomb and covers for a two count.)

David: Nykk tried to get fancy there in taking out both Haas and Jackie, and he messed up. Now Charlie Haas has the advantage.

Dick: He recognized an opening and took it. Haas isn't dumb.

(Haas snapmares Nykk over and dropkicks him in the back of the head. He then clips the knee and drops an elbow onto it. He applies a figure-four leglock, and Nykk screams in pain. He finally makes it to the ropes, and Young makes Haas release the hold, but as he's tied up with Haas, Jackie comes in and kicks at Nykk's knee. Lisa tries to come in, but that distracts Young again, and Haas lays Nykk's leg across the bottom rope. Jackie gets up on his shoulders, and Haas jumps up, bringing them both down on Nykk's knee. Haas pulls him away from the ropes and covers for a two count. Haas goes for the Haas of Pain, but Nykk rolls through and kicks Haas in the face. Haas responds by kicking Nykk's damaged knee, and then gives him a dragon screw legwhip. He applies a cravate, and Nykk starts to fade. Young drops his hand twice, but he keeps it up the third time. He gets back to his feet and elbows his way out of it. He hits Haas with right hands, and Jackie comes in to the ring, trying to draw Lisa back in. She isn't biting, and Young tries to make Jackie leave. Haas pulls the ref in between him and Nykk, allowing Jackie to hit an undetected low blow. Haas gives Nykk the Haastruction and covers, but Lisa breaks up the count. Haas confronts her and she slaps him across the face. Haas shoves her off the apron, and Nykk tackles him, hitting him with hard rights. Haas responds with a knee to the midsection and a scoop slam. He applies the Haas of Pain, but Nykk manages to roll through and somersault Haas. He crawls to his corner, but Haas picks him up by the leg and hits the knee with rights. Nykk goes for an enzugiri, but Haas ducks. Nykk lands on his foot and kicks backward, getting Haas questionably low. Haas falls back to his own corner as Nykk tags Lisa in. Jackie comes in, but Lisa gets a double leg pickup and slams her to the mat. She gives her a couple of armwringers, followed by a hammerlock DDT. She covers and gets a two count. She gives her an armbar suplex, and then goes for the Letty Stretch, but Jackie turns over and kicks her in the face. Lisa clotheslines her, and then bounces off the ropes. Haas tries to grab her foot, but Lisa avoids it and kicks Haas through the ropes. Jackie hits her with a running forearm from behind, and rolls her up. Nykk comes in and yanks her off by the hair. He gives Haas a pescado, taking them both out. Jackie gives Lisa a vertical suplex and then goes to the second rope. She goes for an elbow drop, but Lisa moves. Lisa goes to the second rope and takes her down with a bulldog, covering for two. She picks Jackie up, but gets her eyes raked. Jackie whips her into the ropes and puts her head down, allowing Lisa to Pedigree her and segue into the Letty Stretch. Jackie tries to reach the ropes, but eventually gives in and taps out.)

Winners: Nykk and Lisa Letty

David: Nykk and Lisa Letty pick up the victory thanks to Lisa's Letty Stretch making Jackie tap out. What a wild match that was.

Dick: It's not going to be a happy Valentine's Day for Haas and Jackie, that's for sure. Nykk and Lisa were pretty much a well-oiled machine in there. But though Nykk got the victory over Haas, he still didn't get the fall. You can bet this isn't over between them.

(Nykk and Lisa hug in the ring as Haas carries Jackie up the aisle.)

David: Still to come is our main event, but right now a grudge match. For the past couple of weeks, Trent Acid has been getting into the face of Matt Sydal, and this match was signed.

("Closer" hits and Trent Acid makes his way to the ring.)

David: Trent Acid doesn't seem to feel that Matt Sydal is a true MECCA competitor, given that he won his spot over another non-MECCA wrestler in the Toughman Tournament.

Dick: Sydal has a chance here to prove that he can hang with the rest of MECCA.

("My 7th Rib" hits and Matt Sydal makes his way to the ring.)

David: The young daredevil is certainly enthusiastic, and he advanced in the Toughman Tournament just like Trent Acid, so he's proven that there's something there.

Dick: But you need more than a couple of fancy aerial moves to hang here, and it remains to be seen if Sydal can do that.

Matt Sydal vs. Trent Acid
Referee: Matt Hitchcock

(FINISH: Sydal hits Acid with a spinning heel kick, and Acid rolls to the outside. Sydal goes to the top rope and hits a twisting moonsault on the floor. He rolls Acid back in and gets a two count. He whips Acid into the ropes, but Acid escapes and kicks Sydal, bending him over. Acid kicks him in the face this time and follows up with a spinning forearm. Sydal backs up into the corner, and Acid signals for the Yakuza Kick. He charges, but Sydal moves and Acid gets hung up on the top rope. Sydal gives him a standing enzugiri and then places him on the top rope. He goes up for the Cyclorama, but Acid headbutts him and shoves him off the ropes. Acid jumps off, but Sydal gives him an inverted atomic drop. He hits the Here We Go Driver and gets the three count.)

Winner: Matt Sydal

David: Sydal wins it over a MECCA mainstay, and I'd say he's silenced any doubters that claim he isn't good enough to work here.

Dick: Impressive victory by Sydal, and I'm sure we'll be seeing much more of him in the future.

David: Our main event is coming up right now. Alan Mayse will challenge Kevin Stone for the MECCA Championship. Mayse got this match after getting on the Contender Star with a victory over Charlie Haas, and he plans to bring the gold home after taking out his former high school classmate.

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)

David: Alan Mayse is a former RCW Champion, but has yet to win gold here in MECCA. This is one of his two shots, as he has also advanced to the semi-finals of the Toughman Tournament.

Dick: He almost had three, but Cynric flaked out on him back at Night of Champions and finally sided with his brother.

("At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)

David: Kevin Stone has been dominant as MECCA Champion, with victories over top stars such as Nykk, Low Ki and Cynric. He plans to add one more notch to his belt tonight against Alan.

Dick: No one has been able to take the title from him, but Alan has as good a shot as anyone.

Jared: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us tonight as MECCA presents Bloody Valentine! The following contest is your main event, and will be for the MECCA Heavyweight Championship! To my left, the challenger... from Fairborn, Ohio... weighing in at 228 lbs... Alaaaaaaan Maaaaayse! And his opponent... from Bowling Green, Ohio... weighing in at 265 lbs... he is known as the MECCA Monster, and is the reigning and defending MECCA Heavyweight Champion... Keviiiiin Stooooone!

MECCA Championship: Alan Mayse vs. Kevin Stone
Referee: David Bowers

(Mayse and Stone lock up, and Stone pushes Mayse to the canvas. Mayse gets up and shoves Stone back. Stone slaps Mayse and grabs a headlock. Alan pushes him into the ropes, and Kevin staggers him with a shoulderblock. Alan dares Stone to try it again, and Stone bounces off the ropes, shoulderblocking Alan again. Alan stays on his feet and tells Stone to bring it, inviting him to try again. Stone bounces off the ropes, and Alan dropkicks him in the knee. He hits Stone with some chops and then whips him into the ropes, giving him a dropkick that staggers him. Alan gives him another, and Stone starts to lose his balance. Alan shoulderblocks him, sending Stone through the ropes and to the outside. Stone regains his bearings and gets back in the ring. He points at Mayse and tells him to cut that crap out, and Alan grabs his finger and starts bending it back. Stone yells in pain, and Alan slaps him across the face. Stone tries a wild right hand, but Alan ducks and nails him with some rights of his own. He bounces off the ropes and clotheslines Kevin. He gives him an armdrag and tries a hiptoss, but Stone blocks it. Alan knees him in the midsection and then hooks his head with his leg, flipping over and hitting a back suplex. Stone gets up and Alan hits a spinning knife-edge chop to the face. He gives Stone another back suplex and then signals for a big move. He bounces back and forth off the ropes numerous times, running at full speed. After the sixth time, he stops, tells Stone to go screw himself and stomps right on his nose. Stone backs into a corner, and Alan hits a charging clothesline. He lifts Stone onto his shoulders and hits a powerslam, covering for a two count. He picks Stone up and tries another back suplex, but Stone shifts his weight and counters with a cross body, crushing Alan. Alan slides over to the corner, and Stone kicks him in the chest. He hits Alan with some rights and pulls him to his feet, giving him some back elbows. He beels Alan across the ring and then lifts him into a military press, dropping him into a powerslam and covering for a two count. He lifts Alan into a standing headscissors and jumps down across the neck. He does it again and then pumphandles Alan's arms, giving him the Rockslide Bomb. He covers for another two count. He tries another Rockslide Bomb, but Alan hits him with rights, so Stone just drops him into a standard powerbomb. Alan slides to the ropes, and Stone stands on his throat while using the ropes for leverage. Bowers makes him break the hold, and Stone bounces off the bottom rope into a splash. He pulls Alan away from the ropes and covers for a two count. He picks him back up and puts him in a torture rack. Alan starts to fade, and Bowers drops his hand twice. Alan keeps his hand up the third time, and starts hammering on Stone's temple. He drops behind Stone and pushes him into the ropes, hitting a spinning heel kick. He whips Stone into the ropes and puts his head down, but Stone kicks him and then hits another Rockslide Bomb. He waits for Alan to get to his feet and then bounces off the ropes, clotheslining him hard in the back of the head and then bouncing off the other side, sending Alan down with a big boot. He covers and gets a close two count.)

David: Stone is murdering Alan with these strikes, but Mayse just keeps fighting back.

Dick: Stone may be getting frustrated that he can't put Alan away, and if so, advantage will go to Alan the longer the match goes. Right now, Stone is firmly in control.

(Stone goes to the outside, and pulls a table out from underneath the ring. He props it up on the ring apron and then pulls Alan over, giving him an elbow to the throat across the apron. He pulls Alan out and lifts him into a military press, heaving him over the guardrail. He goes after Alan and then whips him back into the guardrail, clotheslining him back to ringside. He lifts Alan into a powerslam position and tries to put him through the table, but Alan escapes and kicks Stone. He tries a Tiger Bomb on the floor, but Stone backdrops him onto the concrete. He throws Alan back into the ring and gives him a legdrop, covering for a two count. He goes to the second rope and clotheslines Alan as he gets up. Stone picks him up and puts him in the Canadian Backbreaker. Alan starts to fade again, but remains conscious. He elbows Stone in the head, eventually causing him to stagger back toward the corner. Alan launches off the corner and flips back to his feet, giving Stone a dropkick that sends him into the turnbuckles. Stone staggers out, and Alan gives him an enzugiri that sends him down. Both men lay motionless, and Bowers starts the count. At eight, they're both at their feet and they start slugging it out. Stone wins that battle and whips Alan into the turnbuckles. He goes for a running shoulderblock, but Alan sidesteps him and throws him head first into the ring post. He gives Stone a back body drop and then goes to the top rope. He hits a flying reverse elbow and covers for a two count. Alan goes for the Tiger Bomb, but he can't quite lift Stone and he gets rammed into the turnbuckles. Stone gives him a hard palm strike, and Alan holds his cheekbone in pain, and falls out of the ring. Stone goes after him and hits forearms to the back as Alan makes his way around to the aisle. Stone headbutts Alan, and then points at the propped up table. He goes for another Rockslide Bomb, but Alan counters with a hurricanrana, and Stone goes headfirst through the table. At the eight count, Alan rolls Stone back into the ring and gives him a springboard dropkick. He then hits an exploder suplex, dropping Stone on his head. He lifts Stone and hits the Tiger Bomb, but Stone just barely kicks out at two. Alan can't believe it, and he gives Stone a backbreaker while he thinks what to do now. He goes to apply the Maysochist, and then turns it into a modified STF. Stone struggles, and finally reaches the ropes. Alan pulls him back to the middle of the ring and goes for the Tiger Bomb again. Stone won't go up, and Alan lets go and kicks him in the face. He bounces off the ropes, but Stone sends him down with a flying shoulder tackle. Stone goes to the second rope, but Alan forearms him in the back and goes to the top rope. He tries a super Tiger Bomb, but Stone counters with a backdrop. Alan lands on his feet and waits for Stone to turn around. When he does, Alan rocket launches Stone back to the middle of the ring. He bounces off the ropes, but Stone lifts him high into the air and hits the Stone Cutter. He covers, but Alan barely kicks out. Stone accuses Bowers of making a mistake just like last month, and while he's arguing, Alan gets him into a sunset flip, somersaulting over into a bridge for a close two count. Alan kicks Stone in the face and forearms him and then goes to the second rope. He goes for a cross body, but Stone catches him and spins him around into the Stone Crusher. He covers and gets the three count.)

Winner: Kevin Stone

David: Kevin Stone retains the MECCA Championship after a grueling match against Alan Mayse, who almost had him beat numerous times.

Dick: I thought it was all over after that Tiger Bomb, but Stone once again proves his resilience. Not even Cynric has given him a run for his money like that.

David: All Alan has left now is his shot at the MECCA Toughman Championship, and he's made it all the way to the semi-finals so far.

(Stone poses with the belt as Alan rolls out of the ring and walks back toward the curtain, disappointed.)

David: It seems like no one can stop Kevin Stone, as he's just been mowing through the competition. That's all we have for you tonight, fans. Thank you for joining us here at Bloody Valentine, and we'll see you this Wednesday on Go Time!
