Dark Match: The Concession Dream Team vs. The Ballard Brothers
Referee: Matt Hitchcock
(FINISH: The Ballards go for the Penalty Box on Dreamo, but Concession Boy clips Shane's knee, and Dreamo rolls through and hooks Shannon into the Morning Stretch. After a few moments, Shannon taps out.)
Winners: The Concession Dream Team
("Neocon" opening.)
David: We are live in St. Louis, Missouri, as MECCA presents No Regrets, right here on FSN! I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and tonight Nykk and Ronin Fox will decide once and for all who deserves to be MECCA Champion as they battle it out in an Ironman Pendulum Match!
Dick: And Low Ki finally gets the chance to get his hands on the man who embarrassed him back on September 27, Joey Sprinklers!
David: The Ladies' Title will be on the line as Lisa Letty defends against Gail Kim. Also, Kevin Stone has vowed to put an end to Cheesecake's career when he faces him one on one.
Dick: Plus the UK Wrecking Crew defend the tag titles and much more!
("Brackish" hits and Gail Kim makes her way to the ring.)
David: "The Sensation of Submission" Gail Kim has been racking up some impressive wins in the ladies' division recently, and tonight is her opportunity to break through and finally win the Ladies' Championship.
Dick: But what kind of champion would she make? Would she continue with the Dangerous Liaison's philosophy, or will she be more like our Ladies' Champion?
("Edge of Seventeen" hits and Lisa Letty makes her way to the ring.)
David: The First Lady of MECCA is on her way to the ring, proudly wearing that Ladies' Title around her waist.
Dick: I don't see any Dangerous Liaison members around ringside, which is good news for Lisa. If Gail were to win the title, she would probably surpass Shadow as their leader.
MECCA Ladies' Championship: Lisa Letty vs. Gail Kim
Referee: Rya Zay
(Lisa and Kim lock up, and Kim backs her into the corner. She forearms Lisa in the face a couple of times and then whips her to the opposite corner and charges. Lisa steps off the bottom rope and turns, rolling Kim up for a one count. She ducks a clothesline and then puts Kim in a crucifix for a two count. She catches a charging Gail in a fireman's carry and plants her with a Death Valley Driver, hooking the leg for a two count. Lisa slaps Gail across the midsection and then applies an armwringer. Kim rolls through to counter, and kicks one of Lisa's hands away. Lisa grabs the top rope and does a backwards flip to reverse the pressure, and segues into a hammerlock. Kim hooks Lisa's head and propels herself up and lands behind Lisa. Lisa elbows her in the face and bounces off the ropes, sending Kim down with a clothesline. She gives her a vertical suplex and then goes to the second rope, hitting a bulldog. She covers and gets a two count. She goes for the Letty Driver, but Gail resists and counters with a backdrop. Lisa rolls through with a sunset flip that gets a one count. Gail rolls backwards and tries to roll Lisa up, but Lisa rolls through and crawls between Gail's legs. She bounces off the ropes and gives her a front dropkick. She gives Kim a back suplex and then gives her a legdrop on the arm. She applies a short arm scissors, but Kim manages to get a foot on the ropes. Kim crawls to the corner, and Lisa moves in, but Kim yanks her in and she hits her head on the second turnbuckle. Kim gives her a scoop slam and then a kneedrop. She goes for a vertical suplex, but Lisa escapes and waistlocks her. Kim runs to the ropes, but Lisa pulls her off into a roll up for a two count. Lisa gives Kim a flying headscissors and then a flapjack. She snapmares her over, kicking her in the back of the head, followed by a chop that sends Kim down. Lisa bounces off the ropes and hits a senton splash, covering for a two count. She sets Kim up for the Letty Stretch, but Kim rams her into the corner. She whips Lisa to the opposite turnbuckle, but Lisa tips up. Kim immediately turns and sends her down with a spinning heel kick. She gives Lisa a swinging neckbreaker and then crosses her arms in front of her, falling back into a body scissors.)
David: This match has been taken to the mat, and the Sensation of Submission is going to work.
Dick: This is what Lisa needed to avoid. She was doing real well with the high impact offense and roll ups, but now Kim has her right where she wants her. David: We have to take a commercial break, but we'll be right back.
(Commercial Break)
(Back from the break, Lisa is beginning to break out of Gail's submission hold. She's on her feet and managing to twist sideways to get her arms uncrossed, but Kim suddenly kicks her and delivers a DDT. She covers and gets a two count. She shoves Lisa into the corner and gives her several knees to the midsection. She then snapmares her over and gives her a rolling necksnap. She slams Lisa's arm into the mat and picks her up, giving her a shoulderbreaker. She applies a keylock, but Lisa manages to get to her feet. She hits Gail in the midsection until she lets go and tries to bounce off the ropes, but Gail grabs a handful of hair and slams her to the mat. She locks hands with Lisa and goes to the top rope for an armdrag. However, Lisa yanks her off the ropes and then dropkicks her in the face. She goes for the Letty Driver, but Gail counters with a hurricanrana, segueing into a Fujiwara Armbar. After about fifteen seconds, Lisa starts inching toward the ropes. Just when she's about to grab them, Gail grapevines her arm and then gets a hold of the other arm, applying a cobra clutch crossface. Lisa starts to fade, and Rya has to check to make sure she's still conscious. Since there's no free hand to drop, Rya lifts one of her feet and drops it, but Lisa starts kicking the mat. She manages to twist around and turn Gail over into a pinning predicament, but only gets two. Kim lets go and kicks Lisa in the face. She brings Lisa to her feet, but gets hit with a few rights. Gail pokes her into the eyes and then bounces off the ropes, going for the Christo. However, Lisa sits out and plants Gail on the mat. Rya starts the count, but both ladies are up at seven. Lisa blocks a right hand and hits Gail with some forearm strikes. She whips Kim into the ropes and gives her a backbreaker. She follows up with a clothesline and then an armbar DDT. She gives Kim a butterfly suplex and then tries to segue into the Letty Stretch. She gets it on briefly, but Gail's in the ropes. Lisa breaks the hold, and tries to pull her off the ropes, but Gail won't go. Finally she pulls her free, but the back of Gail's head smacks into Lisa's face. Lisa walks right into a drop toehold that sends her headfirst into the second turnbuckle. Gail rolls her up with a backslide and puts her feet on the ropes, but Lisa just barely escapes at two. Kim kicks Lisa and whips her into the ropes, putting her head down. Lisa kicks her in the face and gives her a fisherwoman's suplex for a two count. Lisa goes to the top rope and goes for a fistdrop, but sees Gail move. She lands on her feet and waits. She hooks Kim, but Gail headbutts her and gets a go behind. She yanks Lisa around by the hair and then launches into her, applying the Christo. Lisa starts to fade, but tries to ram Kim into the corner. After the second time, Kim pulls all her body weight down, yanking Lisa down to the mat while still keeping the Christo applied. After a few moments, Lisa loses consciousness. Rya lets her hand drop three times and then calls for the bell.)
Winner: Gail Kim
David: We have a winner, and a new Ladies' Champion!
Dick: Gail did it, but what does this mean for the Dangerous Liaison? Is she the new leader? Do they have their power over the ladies' division back?
(Gail exits the ring and holds the belt up high as Rya tends to Lisa. LuFisto and Misery come out and hug Gail, and Shadow comes out too, but doesn't look too thrilled.)
David: The celebration is underway for the Dangerous Liaison, but we have to take a commercial break. When we come back, Kevin Stone will take on Cheesecake here at No Regrets!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "At the End of the Rainbow" hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)
David: It's time for a big grudge match, as the MECCA Monster Kevin Stone will take on the flamboyant Cheesecake, leader of the Eccentric Alliance.
Dick: The Eccentric Alliance has been a thorn in Stone's side for a couple of months now. Kevin hopes to end this tonight, plus get the title shot he asked for if he can defeat Cheesecake.
("It's Raining Men" hits and Cheesecake makes his way to the ring, the crotch area of his pants looking a little stuffed. He blows kisses to Kevin Stone.)
David: Cheesecake looks... er... ready.
Dick: He knows these mind games are the only way he stands a chance against a killer like Stone, who remained unpinned since July until a couple of weeks ago when Cheesecake caught him by surprise in a tag match.
Cheesecake vs. Kevin Stone
Referee: Keith Young
(FINISH: Cheesecake goes for the Long Kiss Goodnight, but Stone shoves him into the corner. He tries the Stone Crusher as Cheesecake staggers out, but Cheesecake slips behind Stone and waistlocks him. He makes some show of trying to lift Kevin, but seems to be enjoying it too much. Stone panics and tries to run to the corner, but hits his own head on the turnbuckle. Cheesecake gives him a lungblower and then goes to the top rope. He tries a double axehandle, but Stone drops to one knee and gives Cheesecake an inverted atomic drop that's just a little questionable in where it landed. Cheesecake holds himself until Stone gives him the Stone Cutter and covers for the pin.)
Winner: Kevin Stone
David: Stone just got himself a MECCA Championship match with this victory over Cheesecake, adding yet another impressive victory to his list. Cynric, Ronin Fox, Huh, the Stiff Strike Challenge, and now Cheesecake. Can Stone be stopped?
Dick: He has shown no signs of slowing down. The MECCA Monster is on a roll.
David: And speaking of future title shots, up next Alan Mayse and Cynric take on the Pyro Twins to see who will be the next to challenge for the tag titles!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse and Cynric make their way to the ring.)
David: We're back here at No Regrets, and here comes the newest team to make an impact here in MECCA.
Dick: Mayse and Cynric have been much more successful then the other combinations Alan tried when going for the tag titles this past summer.
("Burning Times" hits and the Pyro Twins make their way to the ring.)
David: Jay Crowe and Dusty Schneble would love nothing more than to pay back the UK Wrecking Crew for everything they've done to them over the course of the year, up to and including betraying Jay's brother Eddie.
Dick: I guess in Jay's mind, nobody beats up his brother except him. That stunt was specifically designed to mock the Pyro Twins, and they don't appreciate it.
David: On paper, it would appear the more experienced Pyro Twins are the favorites in this match, but don't discount the possibility of Mayse and Cynric pulling out a victory, as they have against other duos like KDX and the Ballard Brothers.
Alan Mayse and Cynric vs. The Pyro Twins
Referee: David Bowers
(FINISH: Cynric gives Dusty a front kick from the top rope and then gives Jay a back body drop. Jay ducks a heel kick from Cynric and whips him front first into his own corner. Alan makes the blind tag as Jay and Dusty give Cynric Final Darkness. Jay covers as Alan hits Dusty with a springboard dropkick. The ref lets Jay know that Cynric is no longer the legal man, but he hesitates, and Alan rolls him up with an Oklahoma Roll, getting the three count.)
Winners: Alan Mayse and Cynric
David: Cynric and Mayse have scored the upset, and won themselves a shot at the tag titles!
Dick: Alan is desperate to win the Tag Team Championship, so the UKWC better watch out. This is his last chance against them, and desperate men do desperate things.
David: The celebration is on for Alan and Cynric, and don't forget that coming up later in the main event, Ronin Fox challenges Nykk in an Ironman Pendulum Match for the MECCA Championship. Earlier on, Bill Bicknell talked to Ronin Fox.
(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Ronin Fox.)
Bill: Fox, tonight is the opportunity you've been waiting for. You get to wrestle your greatest rival for the biggest prize in MECCA after coming so close last month at Scared Stiff.
Fox: Nykk, I'm sure you were aware of the symbolic implications in making this match tonight. Our entire rivalry has been one big pendulum. Here in MECCA, it seems to have swung in your favor so far. But the thing about pendulums is that they don't stay in one place. Eventually, they come back down and swing to the other side. Tonight, favor swings back to me. Since I wasn't faring so well against you with the fans behind me, now I'm telling all the fans to bite me, and it feels great. No longer am I carrying the burdens and hopes of hundreds of thousands on my back. I can start being me. And Nykk, I know you hated me before. But after tonight, you will be calling for my very death! Because when I humiliate you in the match that you signed, gain the title that you hold, in the promotion that you own, my final victory will be complete. My ultimate revenge fantasy will come true. Tonight, the pendulum swings back toward me, and I'm jumping on it and riding it to its very apex. And when I get there, the screws come off, that axe swings free, and Nykk, when that happens, your head will roll.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Entre dos Tierras" hits and Kaientai Deluxe make their way to the ring.)
David: It's time for the MECCA Tag Team Championship to be on the line. Dick Togo and Men's Teioh are coming off a big win over Takemura and Sakota at Scared Stiff, and a few weeks ago, challenged the UK Wrecking Crew to a tag title match.
Dick: They have their chance to prove tonight that they can surpass the position they were at when Caldwell was managing them.
("Ironman" hits and the UK Wrecking Crew make their way to the ring, smirking.)
David: Look at Nathans and Fletcher, so smug that the Pyro Twins lost to Mayse and Cynric earlier. But they may have to contend with them anyway tonight, after the new restraining order expires.
Dick: It will be interesting to see what they do when that happens, but right now they have to contend with KDX, and Togo and Teioh are hungry and ready.
MECCA Tag Team Championship: Kaientai Deluxe vs. The UK Wrecking Crew
Referee: Matt Hitchcock
(FINISH: As the two teams are brawling, Togo backdrops Fletcher over the top rope. Teioh reverses a whip from Nathans and pulls him in, going for the Miracle Ecstasy as Togo goes up top. However, Nathans counters into a DDT as Fletcher crotches Togo on the top turnbuckle. They quickly execute the Wrecking Ball on Teioh, and Nathans covers for the three count.)
Winners: The UK Wrecking Crew
David: The UK Wrecking Crew pull off yet another victory, retaining their tag titles! Now they will have to face off against Alan Mayse and Cynric.
Dick: And they're still technically undefeated in the tag ranks.
David: I have to give the devils their due. They haven't lost since that night that the Eccentrics took their titles.
(The UK Wrecking Crew leave, and the camera cuts to ringside, where Charlie Haas and Jackie Gayda are once again sitting at ringside.)
David: Once again, we have Charlie Haas and his wife Jackie in attendance tonight. This past week on Go Time, Haas refused to talk to Bill Bicknell, but maybe David Caldwell will have more luck. Let's send it down to him.
Caldwell: Mills, you stupid SOB, of course I'm going to have more luck, because unlike that fat slob Bicknell I get the real scoops here in MECCA. Charlie Haas, this is the second MECCA show you've attended in the last week. Can you tell us why you and Jackie Gayda are gracing us with your presence?
Haas: First of all, David Caldwell, this is my wife Jackie, so that's Mrs. Jackie to you. Second of all, I've come to MECCA for a reason, but that's not a reason I feel like revealing right now. With all due respect, I don't wish to be interviewed at this time.
Caldwell: Come on, man, you can't leave me hanging like that. At least give us a little bit of an idea.
Haas: We'll say this... we're going to be adding a little prestige to MECCA. That's it for now. Get out of here.
David: Caldwell has been dismissed, but it sounds like we're going to be seeing some more of Charlie Haas and Mrs. Jackie in the coming weeks. Up next, Low Ki will finally get his hand on Joey Sprinklers after Joey embarrassed him back on September 27. Stay with us!
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, "Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)
David: Welcome back to No Regrets, live on FSN, as Low Ki makes his way to the ring. He is dead set on murdering Joey Sprinklers tonight.
Dick: After what's been happening between them over the last two months, I can't blame him.
David: This all started on September 27, when Joey Sprinklers scored his first MECCA victory over Low Ki after a losing streak that began back in January. Low Ki has been waiting for this chance at redemption for a long time.
("Hit That" hits and Joey Sprinklers makes his way to the ring, carrying his skateboard and looking nervously at Low Ki.)
David: Joey showed some signs that he planned to take it to Low Ki over the past few weeks, but he still has to be nervous out here.
Dick: I think Joey knows that his ass-kicking is inevitable, so it's best just to get it out of the way as soon as possible.
(Joey looks like he might bolt, but then charges the ring with his skateboard in hand. He slides in, but immediately gets sent down by a thrust kick from Low Ki as the bell rings.)
Joey Sprinklers vs. Low Ki
Referee: Keith Young
(Low Ki hits Joey with a few hard chops and then whips him into the corner. Joey reverses and grabs his skateboard. However, Low Ki comes out of the corner with a rolling koppo kick, splitting the board in half and taking Joey in the chest. Joey bounces back into the corner as pieces of the skateboard go flying. Low Ki goes for the Tidal Crush, but Joey rolls to avoid it. Low Ki anticipates him rolling and chops him back down the mat when he gets to his feet. Joey gets to his knees and receives some Mongolian chops and a knee to the face. Low Ki whips him into the ropes but Joey reverses and puts his head down. Low Ki slides across Joey's back and then gives him a roundhouse kick to the head. Joey goes down and rolls out of the ring. He grabs a towel from one of the ring attendants and tries to throw it in, but Low Ki catches it and throws it back out. He goes to the outside and Joey tries to make a break for it. He tries climbing over the guardrail, but Low Ki grabs him by the hair. He rams Joey's head into the guardrail and throws him back into the ring. He gives Joey a couple of kicks to the chest and then pounds the mat, aiming another kick at Joey's head. Joey ducks and crawls underneath Low Ki's legs, but Low Ki grabs him by the ankle before he can make it through the ropes. He knees Joey in the midsection and goes for the Ki Krusher, but Joey somehow counters into a swinging reverse DDT. Joey looks as surprised as anyone that he just got an offensive move in on Low Ki, and then grows a little bolder, taking it to Low Ki with rights. He whips Low Ki into the corner and charges, but Low Ki gets his feet up. Low Ki throws Joey into the corner and backs up. He goes for the Tidal Crush again. Joey moves and Low Ki kicks the ring post. He holds his foot in pain and Joey clips the knee. He applies a figure-four leglock, and Low Ki screams in pain. After a few moments, however, Low Ki makes it to the ropes and Joey releases him. Joey goes to pick him up by the head, but Low Ki kicks him in the face. Joey is stunned briefly, but still manages to drop an elbow on Low Ki. He picks him up and goes for Da Sprinklanator, but Low Ki escapes and gets a waistlock. Joey runs to the ropes and drops down, sending Low Ki through the ropes to the floor. Low Ki makes his way to his feet, but Joey climbs to the top turnbuckle and hits him with a plancha. At the count of eight, they're both up and Joey throws Low Ki back into the ring. He covers and gets a two count. He whips Low Ki into the corner and charges for a dropkick, but Low Ki moves and Joey crotches himself on the top rope. Low Ki climbs the turnbuckles and puts Joey in the Hanging Dragon. Young starts the count, and Low Ki breaks at four. Joey is still hung upside down in the corner, so Low Ki lays in some kicks to the ribs. He rights Joey on the top rope and goes up to the top himself. He knees Joey in the face to hang him upside down again and then hits the Ghetto Stomp in the corner. Joey falls limp from the corner, and Low Ki drags him to the middle of the ring. He covers, but Joey barely kicks out at two. Low Ki can't believe it, and drags Joey to the ropes. He chokes him across the bottom rope and then stands on the back of his neck. He then stomps Joey in the back of the head, strangling him on the bottom rope even more. He grabs Joey by the hair and gives him some furious quick kicks to the head, going even faster than normal. He then hangs Joey between the top and middle ropes and starts kicking him in the head as he's trapped.)
David: Low Ki has snapped! He's going to kill Joey Sprinklers! Go to commercial, quick!
(Commercial Break)
(Back from break, Joey is on the floor and Young is at the six count. Low Ki comes over to break up the count, and Young warns him to back off. Joey appears to be out, but Low Ki goes outside and brings him in anyway. Joey shows some signs of life when Low Ki kicks him in the spine. Low Ki throws Joey into a corner and gives him some stiff chops. Joey tries to fight back with rights, but Low Ki knees him in the midsection. He whips Joey to the opposite corner, but Joey reverses and then hits a charging clothesline. He bulldogs Low Ki and then covers for a two count. He whips Low Ki into the ropes and goes for a hurricanrana, but Low Ki counters with a powerbomb, somersaulting over into a bridge with a two count. Joey tries to get up, but Low Ki kicks him in the face again. Joey appears to have lost the feeling in his upper body and writhes around on the mat using his legs to propel himself. Low Ki applies a 39 Stretch, and Joey starts to fade. However, he manages to get a foot on the bottom rope. Low Ki breaks the hold and smacks him in the face, telling him to just stay down. Joey continues to get to his feet, so Low Ki attempts to lock in the Dragon Clutch. He gets Joey into the dragon sleeper, but before he can turn him over, Joey starts hitting Low Ki in the face. He escapes and bounces off the ropes, going for a clothesline. However, Low Ki ducks and gives him a Saito suplex. Low Ki says that it's time to end this, and he picks Joey up. He gives him two Krush Rushes into opposite corners, but when he goes for the Ki Krusher, Joey counters into an inside cradle for a close two count. Low Ki is pissed, and makes a grab for Joey but gets a drop toehold. Joey gives Low Ki a couple of clotheslines and then a dropkick. He gives him a reverse DDT across his own knee and then bounces off the ropes to hit a running neckbreaker. Joey goes to the top rope and hits a missile dropkick. He signals for Da Sprinkalanator, but Low Ki escapes and goes for a back suplex. Joey escapes and dropkicks Low Ki into the ropes, kicking him and delivering Da Sprinklanator. He covers, but Low Ki barely kicks out at two. Joey can't believe it, and he attempts to pick Low Ki up but gets kicked in the head. Joey backs into the corner and Low Ki gets up quickly and hits the Tidal Crush. A roundhouse kick to the chest and then to the back of the head sends Joey down, and Low Ki picks him up and hits the Ki Krusher. He covers and gets the three count.)
Winner: Low Ki
David: Low Ki pulled out the victory with that quick flurry of kicks and the Ki Krusher, but it wasn't quite as easy as he anticipated.
Dick: Joey showed a lot of heart tonight, and he's lucky he's not showing bone. He tried his best and came within an eyelash of a non-fluke victory over Low Ki.
David: These two deserve all the credit we can give them. Joey for conquering his fear and taking it to Low Ki, and Low Ki for adjusting to Joey's newfound courage and still managing to get the pin. Ladies and gentlemen, up next is our main event. Nykk and Ronin Fox collide for the MECCA Championship in an Ironman Pendulum Match.
(Commercial Break)
(In the arena, Jared Schrunk is in the ring.)
Jared: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is our main event here at No Regrets! Thank you very much for tuning in to FSN to watch us tonight, on this Thanksgiving Weekend. This match will be for the MECCA Heavyweight Championship, and will be contested under Ironman Pendulum rules. This means that the match will have a sixty-minute time limit. Falls can be gained by either pinfall, submission, disqualification or count-out. When a fall takes place, the victor will gain a point and the loser will lose a point, except in the case of a count-out or DQ, which will not change the victor's score, but make the loser lose another point. The man with the highest score at the end of the time limit will be the winner and take home the MECCA Championship.
("Wherever I May Roam" hits and Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)
David: It will be very important to score as many falls as possible early in this one, to make it harder for the other man to catch up. Ronin Fox came so close to winning the MECCA Championship last month at Scared Stiff, and just as he had Nykk beat, the time limit expired. It was then revealed that he was the one who had been attacking Nykk backstage. Ronin Fox turned his back on the fans, though in his mind they had already turned their backs on him.
Dick: His hatred for Nykk runs so deep that when the MECCA fans accepted Nykk and started to cheer them, he took that as an act of betrayal. Now he wants to win the MECCA Championship to complete his revenge on Nykk for all the years of torment.
("Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)
David: Nykk has left his past behind, but Ronin Fox can't seem to accept that. Now a new feud has been born, and Nykk wants to tear Fox's head from his shoulders.
Dick: He's got to keep his cool. He's going into this match for an hour definitely this time, and a good strategy would be to score as many falls in the first twenty minutes, when you're still fresh.
Jared: Introducing first, the challenger... from Bellbrook, Ohio... weighing in at 170 lbs... he is a former RCW Television Champion... Roniiiin Fooooox! And his opponent... also from Bellbrook, Ohio, and weighing in at 226 lbs... he is known as the Alpha Wolf and is the current MECCA Heavyweight Champion... this is Nyyyyykk!
Ironman Pendulum Match for the MECCA Championship: Nykk vs. Ronin Fox
Referee: David Bowers
(The bell rings and Nykk goes for Fox, but Fox bails to the floor. He taunts Nykk as Nykk tells him to bring his ass into the ring. Fox backs off, and Bowers starts the count. Realizing he has nothing to gain by being counted out, Fox rolls into the ring at nine and then rolls right back out when Nykk lunges for him. Bowers tells Nykk to wait in the opposite corner, or he'll disqualify him. Bowers starts the count again, and Fox rolls back in at nine but rolls back out again. Finally, Nykk goes to the floor and chases Fox around the ring. Fox rolls back into the ring and tries to elbow drop Nykk as he sticks his head through the ropes. Nykk backs off and Fox elbow drops the mat. As he lays on the mat, Nykk uses the middle rope to slide himself underneath the bottom rope, dropkicking Fox in the head. He turns him over and covers for a one count. Fox backs up to a corner, but Nykk follows him with a hard chop. He gives Fox a few more chops and then lays into him with right hands. He whips him to the opposite corner and gives him a double leg takedown when he staggers out. Fox immediately covers up, so Nykk starts punching him in the midsection. Fox instinctively covers up his midsection, allowing Nykk to headbutt him. Nykk picks him up and whips him into the ropes, but yanks him down by the hair instead. He bounces off the ropes and delivers a running kick to Fox's face. Fox rolls out of the ring again, and recuperates on the floor. Nykk goes for a baseball slide, but Fox moves out of the way and Nykk slides to the floor. Fox rams him into the guardrail and then goes back into the ring. He bounces off the ropes and dives to the outside, twisting in midair to take Nykk over with a headscissors. Fox gets on the apron and goes for the Tail End on the floor, but Nykk catches him and rams him into the post. Bowers comes out to make them get back in the ring, but they're having none of it. Nykk whips Fox into the corner of the guardrails, but Fox reverses. He gives Nykk a running shoulder thrust, and ends up giving him Around the World in 18 Seconds on the floor. He rolls Nykk back into the ring and goes for the Tail End, but Nykk counters with a sitout spinebuster. He covers for a two count. Nykk goes for the Trinity, hitting the back suplex. However, Fox elbows his way out of the German, but Nykk ducks another back elbow and hits a northern lights suplex, bridging for two. Nykk gives Fox a snap suplex, followed by a running leg lariat. He gives Fox a senton splash to the back and covers for a one count. He picks Fox up and gives him a backbreaker. He goes for the Cedarleaf, but Fox twists himself over and manages to make it to the ropes. Nykk tries to pull him off, but Fox pokes him in the eye. He clips Nykk's knee and then lays in several kicks to it. He grapevines the leg, but after a few moments Nykk hits him until he releases it. Fox puts the leg on the mat and stomps it. Nykk gets to his feet, but Fox gives him a swinging neckbreaker and covers for two. He applies a necktie, which he then segues into a curb stomp. He picks Nykk up, and Nykk fights back with right hands. He clotheslines Fox down and then goes to the top rope. He tries a double axehandle, but Fox gets his hands up and then traps the arms, hitting a reverse tiger suplex. Fox covers for another two count. He goes to apply a Boston Crab, but Nykk doesn't want to go over. Fox stomps his head a few times until he's able to turn Nykk over and apply the hold. After about twenty-five seconds, Nykk is able to grab the ropes, and Fox releases him. He stomps Nykk's back and head and then whips him into the ropes, hitting a running dropkick. He goes for a piledriver, and Nykk drops to one knee and picks him up in a fireman's carry, going for the rolling Samoan Drop. However, Fox escapes this time and manages to hit the tiger buster. He covers for another two count. He gives Nykk a vertical suplex and then goes to the top rope, hitting a guillotine legdrop. Fox applies a necktie and then sits across Nykk's back. Nykk starts to lose consciousness, and Bowers goes in to make sure that Nykk hasn't passed out. After about thirty seconds, Nykk gets to all fours. Fox jumps on his back, but Nykk stands up and rams him into the corner. He tries a back elbow, but Fox ducks and headbutts Nykk in the midsection. He whips him into the ropes, but Nykk reverses and nails him with a knee to the midsection, somersaulting him. He picks Fox up and lifts him for a vertical suplex, but instead drops him to his feet and hits a hangman's neckbreaker. He whips Fox into the ropes and charges, and Fox tips up. Nykk catches him in a fireman's carry and hits the rolling Samoan Drop, covering for a two count. He goes for the Trinity again, but before he can hit the dragon suplex, Fox drops down to his back and takes Nykk over in a victory roll for a two count. Fox jumps onto the second turnbuckle and vaults backwards for the Tail End, but Nykk slams him to the mat and locks in the Cedarleaf. Fox twists and writhes on the mat, and is able to reach the ropes just before he has to tap out. Nykk kicks him in the back and then brings him to his feet. Fox spits in his face, blinding him momentarily. Fox bounces off the ropes for a high cross body, but Nykk catches him and puts him in position for a powerslam. Instead, he drops Fox ribs first across his knee and then locks in the Cedarleaf: Scorpion Version. This allows Nykk more control of Fox's body, and he manipulates him to the center of the ring. Finally, Fox taps out.)
David: We have our first fall of the match, as Fox just tapped out to one of Nykk's Bellbrook Cedarleaf variations! This makes the score 1 to -1 in Nykk's favor.
Dick: Nykk has the advantage, and he has Fox weakened. He'd better stay on him and get a couple more falls to widen the gap.
(Fox tries to use the ropes to get to his feet, but Nykk hits him with forearms to the back. Nykk whips him into the ropes and goes for a running back elbow, but Fox ducks and gives Nykk an inverted atomic drop. He goes for a clotheslines, but Nykk drops to the mat and kips up once Fox passes over him. He backdrops Fox over the top rope and measures him. He hits a double jump plancha and lays into Fox with right hands. He drops him onto the guardrail and dumps him over it. He hits Fox with rights and then gives him a hangman's neckbreaker onto the guardrail. Fox holds his neck in pain as Nykk drags him back over and whips him into the post. He pulls out the timekeeper's table, and drags Fox up to the apron by the hair as Bowers tries to stop him. He puts Fox in a fireman's carry, attempting a rolling Samoan drop through the table. Fox fights out and lands back in the ring. He bounces off the ropes, but Nykk drives his shoulder into the midsection and then rams Fox's head into the top turnbuckle. Fox goes down and Nykk pulls him to the corner. He applies the Cedarleaf: Post Version, hanging upside down from the ring post with the Cedarleaf applied. Fox screams in pain, but Bowers starts counting and Nykk has to let go. Fox rolls to the floor as Nykk gets back in the ring. Bowers warns Nykk and Fox grabs a chair from ringside. He places it in the corner, and Nykk comes after him. Fox gives him a shoulder thrust to the midsection and hits him with a right hand. He backs up and traps the ref in the corner. He baits Nykk and Nykk charges him. Fox moves, and Nykk nearly collides with Bowers. However, as Nykk turns around, Fox blasts him in the head with the chair. Bowers calls for the bell, making the score 1 to -2 in favor of Nykk. Fox feigns innocence as Bowers gets rid of the chair, and then Fox covers Nykk, getting a three count and bringing the score to 0 to -1, in favor of Nykk.)
David: Fox just took a penalty for that chairshot, but then pinned Nykk to close the gap a little more. What's he thinking?
Dick: No, this is a smart move. Fox is only one point behind, and Nykk is nearly unconscious and looks badly hurt. This could be Fox's math from this point on.
(Fox tries to pin Nykk again, but only gets a two count. He applies a reverse chinlock on the mat, and Nykk fades. Bowers drops his hand twice, but Nykk keeps it up the third time. He gets to his feet and elbows his way out of the hold. He tries to bounce off the ropes, but Fox grabs his hair and pulls him back into the reverse chinlock. Nykk counters into a back suplex and then rolls through for the German. However, Fox escapes and lands on his feet, dropkicking Nykk in the face. He applies the Carrion Stretch, and Nykk is quickly out of it again. Bowers drops his hand three times and then calls for the bell.)
David: Fox scores another fall, and this time the time limit wasn't there to save Nykk. Fox has now pulled ahead at 0 to -1.
Dick: I told you, Fox knew what he was doing. You have to take one step backwards to take two steps forward.
David: We have one commercial break left to take, and we're going to take it now. Ironman Pendulum continues when we return!
(Commercial Break)
(Back from the break, Fox has Nykk in a waistlock on the mat, and is trying to bridge him into a pin. Nykk won't go over all the way, but he finally does, and Fox gets a two count. Nykk rolls to his stomach, but Fox keeps the waistlock applied. He switches to a front facelock and deliberately puts his feet on the ropes. Bowers makes it to a four count before Fox releases the hold. He drops a knee on the back of Nykk's head and then goes back to a front facelock. However, Nykk makes it to his feet and hits Fox in the midsection. However, Fox doesn't let go, even when Nykk tries to whip him into the ropes. Instead, Nykk lifts him overhead, and Fox, sensing an Aurora Driver, lets go and rolls off of Nykk to avoid it. Nykk sends him down with a running back elbow and then gives him a back body drop. Still holding his head, Nykk whips Fox into the ropes. Fox slides between Nykk's feet and catches him with a jawbreaker. He then headbutts him, and Nykk staggers. Fox schoolboys Nykk and gets another three count.)
David: I don't think Nykk has recovered from the chairshot he took earlier, and Fox has been working on his temple this entire time. His equilibrium is just off.
Dick: You notice that this time around, falls are starting to come with more frequency. This is not only because of the nature of the rules, but because they're going at it a lot harder and have absorbed more punishment at this stage in the match than they did last month.
David: Fox has now widened the gap, as the score his 1 to -2 in favor of him.
(Fox continues to pound Nykk in the head with right hands. He whips him into the ropes and hits a reverse elbow, covering for two. He signals for the Demon Driver and lifts him, but Nykk manages to escape. He pushes Fox into the ropes, and Fox goes for the Tail End instead. Nykk throws him off into the corner and charges at the same time that Fox staggers out, and they smack heads. They both go down, and Bowers begins the count. At eight, both men are up, and Nykk gets the better of a slugfest. He whips Fox into the ropes, but it's reversed. Fox puts his head down, and Nykk goes for a sunset flip. Fox kicks out at two. Fox tries a clothesline, but Nykk ducks and rolls him up with a backslide for two. Nykk hangs on and tries a crucifix that gets another two count. Nykk gets to his feet, frustrated, but Fox is faster and sends him back down with a clothesline. He covers Nykk and gets a two count. Fox forearms Nykk in the head and then whips him into the ropes, applying a sleeper. Nykk falls to his knees, and starts to fade. He inches for the ropes, but finally falls to the mat. Bowers drops his hand twice, and on the third time, his hand just happens to fall across the bottom rope. Bowers makes Fox break the hold, and Fox lets go, arguing with Bowers that Nykk didn't grab the ropes intentionally. Bowers says his decision stands, and Fox quickly covers Nykk, only to have him put his foot over the bottom rope. Fox goes for another sleeper, but Nykk counters into a back suplex. He rolls through and hits the German, but Fox hooks his leg around Nykk's foot to avoid the dragon. He breaks the full nelson and gets a go behind. He tries to roll Nykk up by hooking his armpits with his feet and rolling backwards, but Nykk merely gives Fox a modified spinebuster. Nykk goes to the top rope and goes for the swan splash, but Fox moves out of the way. Nykk hits his head on the mat, and Fox gives him a brainbuster, floating over into the three count.)
David: Fox just widened the gap even further, as it's now 2 to -3, which means that Nykk will have to score three falls just to get back into the lead.
Dick: I think this one's pretty much over. I don't think Nykk has enough left to score three falls in such a short period of time.
David: Indeed, we've just passed the forty-five minute mark, and Fox has one hell of a lead.
(Fox stomps Nykk and then covers him again for another two count. He gives him a vertical suplex and then hits a somersault senton splash. He goes for a piledriver, but Nykk hangs onto Fox's leg. He gets a double leg takedown and goes for the Cedarleaf, but Fox kicks him in the face. He clotheslines Nykk through the ropes and tells Bowers to count him out. Bowers starts the count, but Nykk staggers up at around seven. Fox breaks the count by diving through the ropes with a tope, but Nykk lifts the ringside mats and Fox hits a wall. He staggers back into the post, and Nykk whips him into the guardrail, hitting a running European uppercut. Fox goes down, and Nykk backs up, giving Fox a running knee to the face. Nykk rolls back into the ring and lets Bowers count Fox out. However, Fox makes it back in at nine, and Nykk picks him up. He gives him the Trinity, but Fox kicks out at two. Frustrated, Nykk signals that it's time for an Aurora Driver. He lifts Fox, but Fox fights out of it by raking the eyes and biting. Nykk hits him with rights, but Fox hits him with an enzugiri. Fox bounces off the ropes and goes for the Tail End once again, but Nykk sets him on his feet and quickly hits the Aurora Driver. It takes Nykk until the nine count to roll over onto Fox, who isn't moving. Bowers makes the three count.)
David: Nykk just made the score 1 to -2 in Fox's favor, but we might need some help out here to attend to Ronin Fox. He took that Aurora Driver once again, and isn't moving.
Dick: The match hasn't stopped, but I think Nykk more than evened the odds.
(Nykk crawls over and covers Fox again to get another three count.)
David: Nykk realized that Fox is out, and he just got another fall, meaning the score is 0 to -1!
Dick: We should get some help out here for Fox. I know Nykk wants to win, but he can be awarded the match by the referee. We don't know whether Fox is really hurt or just knocked out.
David: The Aurora Driver is a dangerous move, and it's kept Fox down for about a minute now.
(Bowers wants to call for help, but Nykk tells him not until he's won the match. He covers Fox again, but Fox barely kicks out at two. He picks Fox up, but Fox throws Nykk through the ropes while he tries to regain his bearings. He's holding his neck, and seems to have difficulty standing. Nykk gets back in the ring momentarily, and kicks Fox, hitting a swinging neckbreaker and covering for another two count. He whips Fox into the ropes, but Fox reverses and charges. Nykk gets his feet up and gets on Fox's shoulders. However, instead of going for a victory roll, Nykk falls back into a headscissors on the mat. Fox fights frantically to escape. After a few moments, Fox finally makes it to the ropes. Nykk lets up and signals for Howling Moon II. However, Fox escapes and pushes Nykk into the turnbuckles, giving him a falling neckbreaker. Fox says that it's over, and goes to the top rope as Nykk stands. Nykk staggers into the ropes, and crotches Fox. Nykk goes up with him and they duke it out on the top rope. Fox knees Nykk in the midsection, but that just allows Nykk to hook Fox and take him off the top with the Nykkochet, bridging for the three count.)
David: I don't believe it! Nykk has pulled ahead with only five minutes to go in this contest. It's now 0 to -1!
Dick: That Aurora Driver took away Fox's momentum and his lead, and I think he has to be finished after the Nykkochet.
(Nykk waits a few moments and then covers Fox, getting a close two count before Fox kicks out. Nykk dumps Fox across the top rope and then goes for Howling Moon I, but Fox counters with a body press and gets a two count. They get to their feet, and Fox sends Nykk down with a dropkick. Getting an idea, he suddenly goes over and removes one of the turnbuckle pads. Bowers tells him to cut it out, and starts replacing the pad. Meanwhile, Fox goes outside and gets the MECCA Championship belt. He gets back in the ring and as Nykk gets to his feet, he throws the belt at him. Nykk catches it, and Fox falls to his back just as Bowers turns around. He sees the belt in Nykk's hands. Nykk drops the belt, denying doing the deed, but Bowers calls for the bell anyway.)
David: Fox just tricked Nykk into getting himself disqualified and tied the score at -1 to -1!
Dick: If a fall occurs in the four minutes, it will win this match for whoever gets it.
(Nykk goes to drop an elbow on Fox, who rolls out of the way. However, Nykk anticipates this and follows Fox, dropping an elbow on him when he stops. He picks Fox up, but gets poked in the eye. Nykk blocks a right and nails one of his own. He whips Fox into the ropes and tries a hurricanrana, but Fox counters with a powerbomb. Fox goes to the second rope and tries a missile dropkick, but Nykk grabs his legs and tries to apply the Cedarleaf. Fox rolls to his side and breaks Nykk's grip. He rolls Nykk into an inside cradle, but Nykk rolls through and grabs the legs, segueing into the Cedarleaf. However, before Nykk can fall back into the Limit Break Version, Fox forces his legs down and somersaults Nykk. They get to their feet and hit simultaneous clotheslines. They stagger back into the ropes and then fall to their knees in the middle of the ring. They start wailing away on each other with right hands, and stand up as they do so. They don't give each other any ground as they continue to pound on each other. Nykk finally gets the better of Fox and goes for a roaring forearm. Fox ducks, but Nykk spins back around and hits a running European uppercut, backflipping Fox and knocking him out. Nykk points to the heavens and then goes to the top rope. He hits a frog splash, and gets the three count on Fox with seven seconds remaining in the match. As Nykk rolls off in jubilation, Fox makes one last ditch effort to roll Nykk over into a pinning predicament, but Nykk rolls through it and the bell rings.)
Winner: Nykk
David: Nykk has won the Ironman Pendulum Match, and retained his MECCA Championship after both men gave a tribute to a fallen comrade! Nykk wins it with a final score of 0 to -2!
Dick: Fox tried, with only five seconds remaining to get one last fall to tie the score again, but he was just too weak. Nykk has survived a hellish match and walked out with the MECCA Championship.
(Nykk holds up the belt and points to the heavens again.)
David: Certainly both of these men had their own tribute to Eddie Guerrero in mind for this match, and what a match it was. We'll see you back here on FSN for Go Time this Wednesday, fans. Until then, good night!
