Liberty or Death: 7/30/05

Lansing, MI

Dark Match: Kelly Schweickart and Lisa Letty vs. Misery and LuFisto
Referee: Nikki Alvarado

(FINISH: Misery goes for a top rope splash on Lisa, but she moves and Misery crashes to the mat. Kelly comes off the opposite turnbuckles with the Kelly Cyclone to Misery's back. She then runs over and takes out LuFisto on the apron. Lisa applies the Letty Stretch on Misery, who submits.)

Winners: Lisa Letty and Kelly Schweickart

("Neocon" opening.)

David: We are live in Lansing, Michigan, to bring you the hottest show of the summer. It's Liberty or Death, presented by MECCA! Hello, fans, I'm David Mills, along with Dick Broccoli, and we've got a great card lined up tonight. Of course, the big eight-man main event will take place between Huh, Cheesecake, Spanky and Delirious representing the Eccentric Alliance, against C.M. Punk, Eddie Crowe and the Pyro Twins, representing SELF.

Dick: Also, a rematch from last month. Nykk will attempt to get revenge for his loss at Midsummer Night Slam as he takes on Low Ki.

David: And former partners collide when Kevin Stone takes on Cynric. All that, plus the Ladies' and Tag Team Championships on the line right here tonight.

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse and Joey Sprinklers make their way to the ring.)

David: We're kicking things off with a match for the MECCA Tag Team Championship, and here come the challengers.

Dick: The unlikely tandem of Alan Mayse and Joey Sprinklers may have the talent to pull this off, but the UK Wrecking Crew are still undefeated in tag team competition.

("Ironman" hits and the UK Wrecking Crew makes their way to the ring.)

David: Andy Nathans and Jack Fletcher didn't give Joey a snowball's chance in hell of beating them until he announced that Alan was his partner.

Dick: Alan Mayse has been targeting the UK Wrecking Crew's titles for over a month now. He couldn't get it done with Kevin Stone at Midsummer Night Slam, so now he's trying out a new partner.

MECCA Tag Team Championship Match: Alan Mayse and Joey Sprinklers vs. The UK Wrecking Crew
Referee: Keith Young

(FINISH: Alan gets the hot tag and takes down Fletcher with a back elbow. Nathans comes in and gets hiptossed. Alan clotheslines Nathans and whips Fletcher into the ropes, hitting a standing dropkick. He covers, but Fletcher kicks out. He gives Fletcher an exploder suplex and then goes to the apron. He tries a springboard dropkick, but Nathans spears him out of midair. Joey comes in and attacks Nathans. He whips him into the ropes and hits a running enzugiri. He gives Fletcher a back suplex and then clotheslines Nathans over the top rope, taking himself over as well. Alan tries to clothesline Fletcher, but Fletcher ducks and gets a waistlock. He goes for a German Suplex, but Alan counters into a victory roll, segueing into the Maysochist. Fletcher almost taps out, but Nathans makes the save and breaks up the hold. Joey tags himself in and goes to town on Nathans and Fletcher with rights. He gives Fletcher a back body drop and then suplexes Nathans on top of him. He hits Da Sprinklanator on Fletcher and covers, but Fletcher gets a foot over the bottom rope. He whips Fletcher into the ropes, but gets reversed. Nathans trips him from the outside and Joey stumbles. Fletcher hoists Joey up and hits the Union Jack. He covers for the three count as Nathans keeps Alan from getting back in.)

Winners: The UK Wrecking Crew

David: The UKWC retains, and I guess this means that Joey is not the partner for Alan.

Dick: The tag team champs pick up another win. Just who is going to step up and stop the UK Wrecking Crew?

David: Perhaps the Pyro Twins, who will now receive a title shot at the UK Wrecking Crew in the near future.

(The UK Wrecking Crew hastily depart ringside once they see Alan stalking toward them. Joey is left all alone in the ring when "Closer" hits and Trent Acid makes his way in through the crowd.)

David: What's this? Trent Acid is on his way to the ring.

Dick: He's the only SELF member without a match tonight, and he did promise something memorable on Go Time.

(Acid offers to shake Joey's hand and congratulate him on a good match when he suddenly turns and superkicks him. He then picks him up and delivers the Acid Bomb.)

David: Come on. What was the point of that?

(Acid gets a mic.)

Acid: I suppose you're wondering what Trent Acid has planned for tonight. Well, wonder no longer because I am out here representing the Straight Edge Lifestyle Foundation, making each and every one of your lives better one day at a time. But since all of my friends are tied up in the main event tonight, I realized that I had nothing to do. So what I'm out here to do is take an opportunity. I challenge anyone in the back to a match, and when I beat them, I will be on my way to the Contender Star. So if anyone back there wants some of this, feel free to come on down and be prepared to be sent packing.

David: An open challenge? That's what he was blabbing on about?

("Wherever I May Roam" hits.)

David: Wait a minute... could it be...

(Ronin Fox makes his way to the ring.)

David: It is! Ronin Fox is back!

Dick: You never, ever issue open challenges in wrestling, and this is why. I can't believe Ronin Fox is back from the injured list already!

David: He looks focused, and it looks as though we have a match happening right now!

Ronin Fox vs. Trent Acid
Referee: David Bowers

(FINISH: Acid whips Fox into a corner, but gets reversed. Acid jumps to the second turnbuckle and leaps backward over a charging Fox. He goes for a superkick, but Fox catches his foot and hits a dragon screw legwhip. He goes for the Tail End, but Acid throws him off and kicks him. He bounces off the ropes for the Yakuza Kick, but Fox moves. He jumps to the second turnbuckle and vaults off backwards, catching Acid with the Tail End. He covers and gets the three count.)

Winner: Ronin Fox

David: So much for Trent Acid moving up the ladder. He just got pinned clean by Ronin Fox!

Dick: And you know that now that Fox is back, he's looking at getting on that Contender Star.

David: You also have to think Fox will be watching our next match, as it involves his brother Cynric taking on Kevin Stone. Stone has been frustrated for months because he hasn't been making any headway here in MECCA, but when he and Cynric lost a tag title match to the UK Wrecking Crew, that's when Kevin went over the edge, attacking his partner and ending their friendship. Now they'll meet one on one, and you know that Kevin is looking to take that spot Cynric occupies on the Contender Star.

("Soul Creation" hits and Cynric makes his way to the ring.)

David: It's been a tumultuous month for Cynric, as he lost his title match against C.M. Punk at Midsummer Night Slam and then he lost his tag team partner.

Dick: Kevin seems a lot more focused now, and actually has a goal, and that's the MECCA Championship.

David: Cynric is also attempting to keep his spot on the Contender Star, which is definitely in Kevin's line of sight.

("At the End of the Rainbow" by Hammerfall hits and Kevin Stone makes his way to the ring.)

David: There's been a definite attitude change in Stone. He has the potential to be a monster now.

Dick: He's garnered a couple of victories here in MECCA, but he's yet to prove himself against the big guns. He has that chance with Cynric tonight.

Cynric vs. Kevin Stone
Referee: Keith Young

(The bell rings, and Cynric immediately attacks Kevin, trying some martial arts strikes. Kevin blocks a few, but gets caught with a palm to the face. Cynric hits a roundhouse kick to the midsection and then whips Kevin into the ropes, delivering a spinning heel kick. He armdrags Kevin, who gets up in the corner. Cynric hits a running clothesline and then bounces off the ropes. Kevin tries a clothesline, but Cynric ducks and sweeps his legs. He hits a rolling senton and covers for a one count. Kevin gets up in the corner and Cynric follows him, giving him some knife edge chops. He whips him to the opposite corner, but Kevin reverses and charges. Cynric moves out of the way and Kevin crashes into the turnbuckles. Cynric gives him a rolling koppo kick, and Kevin falls through the ropes to the outside. He takes a few moments to regain his composure as Cynric paces back and forth. Finally, Kevin slides back in, but Cynric stomps his hands. He throws Kevin over his shoulder and to the mat. Kevin sits up, and Cynric dropkicks him in the back of the head. Cynric goes for a spin kick, but Kevin catches his foot and swings him around, hitting a hard clothesline. Cynric gets up, but Kevin gives him a couple of headbutts. Cynric staggers back into the corner, where Kevin hits him with some rights and back elbows. He beels Cynric to the center of the ring and measures him. He hits a flying shoulder tackle and covers for a two count. He gives Cynric a vertical suplex and then bounces off the ropes, delivering a kneedrop. He covers and gets another two count. Cynric slides out of the ring, and Kevin follows him, ramming him into the ring post. He gives him some right hands and then grabs a chair, but Bowers takes it away. As Kevin argues, Cynric hits a high knee to the back, sending Kevin into the guardrail. Cynric gives him a jumping spinning crescent kick and Kevin sails over the guardrail and into the first row. Cynric hops the guardrail and gives Kevin several roundhouse kicks. They make their way over to the aisle, with Cynric striking and kicking as he goes. He backs up and charges with a jumping reverse crescent kick, but Kevin catches him and throws him backwards over the guardrail and into the aisle. Kevin goes after him and brings him back to the ring. He slides him in and covers for a two count. He signals for the Stone Cutter and whips Cynric into the ropes. He lifts him into the air, but Cynric lands on his feet and pushes Kevin into the ropes. However, Kevin comes off the ropes with a big boot, leveling Cynric. He lifts Cynric into an overhead backbreaker.)

David: Stone just floored Cynric with that big boot, and now he's showing his strength, hoisting Cynric up for that backbreaker.

Dick: That's got to be taking a toll on the ribs and back. It's a simple but effective move.

(Cynric struggles, but Kevin keeps applying pressure, and finally Cynric passes out. Young drops his hand twice, but Cynric keeps it up on the third try. He elbows Kevin in the head a couple of times, but Kevin keeps the hold applied. Cynric continues elbowing Kevin, backing him up to the corner. Cynric kicks off the top turnbuckle and flips himself over into a standing headscissors position. He backdrops Kevin and collapses to the mat. Kevin gets up and charges, but Cynric spins and kicks Kevin in the midsection, doubling him over. Cynric rolls to his feet and hits a somersault legdrop to the back of the head. Kevin goes down, and Cynric lies on the mat. Bowers starts the count, and at seven both men are up. Kevin tries a right, but Cynric blocks, spins and drops to one knee, elbowing him in the midsection and doubling him over. Cynric gives him a back palm strike and then hits a standing enzugiri, staggering Kevin. Cynric dropkicks him, but Kevin still won't go down. Kevin tries a clothesline, but Cynric ducks and hits a superkick, finally toppling Kevin. He goes to the top rope and hits an elbow smash, and then sets up for the Lift Off. He steps off of Kevin's knee, but Kevin moves his head and Cynric knees Young in the face. Young goes down and Kevin lifts Cynric in a military press into a powerslam. Kevin gets a chair and throws it into the ring. He whips Cynric into the ropes and goes for a spinebuster on the chair, but Cynric stops his momentum and hits a modified Lift Off. Kevin falls to his back and Cynric covers. A semi-conscious Young makes a two count before Kevin kicks out. Cynric prepares for a proper Lift Off, but Kevin grabs the chair and launches it into Cynric's face. He then cracks Cynric over the head with it before throwing it away. He covers, and Young finally regains his senses fully and makes the three count.)

Winner: Kevin Stone

David: I don't believe it. Stone stooped to cheating to win this match.

Dick: He was dominating Cynric for a while there. As I said, Kevin has the potential to be a monster, and he's not quite there yet, but give him a little time and I think we'll see him become a true force here in MECCA.

David: Kevin Stone is also now on the Contender Star, which consists of himself, Nykk, Eddie Crowe, Low Ki and Alan Mayse, with C.M. Punk in the middle as champion. Up next, we'll see Ladies' Title action as Shadow defends against her fellow Dangerous Liaison member Gail Kim.

Dick: So far, Shadow has only granted title shots to Dangerous Liaison members, but she shouldn't underestimate Gail just because she's in her group. Kim is a submission expert, and Shadow is in for a world of hurt if she takes her lightly.

("Brackish" hits and Gail Kim makes her way to the ring.)

David: Gail Kim was one of the original members of the Dangerous Liaison, along with LuFisto, but in recent months we've seen their ranks swell to include Misery and now Shadow as their new leader.

Dick: The Dangerous Liaison has become a dangerous force in the ladies' division, much to the chagrin of Lisa Letty.

("Gangsta Bitch" hits and Shadow makes her way to the ring.)

David: Every time I see Shadow now, I think back to the caring, sympathetic individual she used to be and it just makes me want to vomit.

Dick: Shadow sacrificed her friendship not only with Lisa Letty but Kelly Schweickart, and she was rewarded for it with the Ladies' Title. How is that wrong?

MECCA Ladies' Championship Match: Gail Kim vs. Shadow
Referee: Rya Zay

(FINISH: Shadow goes for the Interceptor, but Gail ducks behind her and gives her a back suplex. She measures Shadow and goes for the Christo, but Shadow sits out and plants Kim face first into the mat. She covers and gets a two count. She whips Gail into the ropes and puts her head down. Gail leapfrogs over her and turns around, hitting a hurricanrana. She goes for a sharpshooter, but Shadow twists around and executes a victory roll, getting the three count.)

Winner: Shadow

David: Gail certainly gave Shadow a fight, but Shadow was able to roll her up out of nowhere for the pin.

Dick: Shadow retains her title, and continues to dominate the ladies' division. Good show by both women.

(As Shadow staggers to her feet, Lisa Letty suddenly runs down the aisle and slides into the ring. She gets on the second turnbuckle and hits a bulldog on Shadow, and then applies the Letty Stretch. Shadow screams in pain and quickly taps, but Lisa won't let go. Gail dives for her and hits her in the midsection to get her to let go. Lisa slides out of the ring as Gail tends to Shadow.)

David: Former champ Lisa Letty just let Shadow know that their business isn't concluded. Perhaps Lisa will be the new challenger that Katie Piehl names.

("Edge of Seventeen" plays as Shadow yells at Lisa from the ring.)

Dick: Shadow's not happy with Lisa's interference, but the former champion does deserve a rematch.

David: Moving right along here, we have a rematch from last month at Midsummer Night Slam as Nykk attempts to even the score with Low Ki. But this time the stakes are even higher, as Katie Piehl has decreed that the winner of this match will receive a shot at the MECCA Championship.

("Fighter's Passion" hits and Low Ki makes his way to the ring.)

David: Low Ki is on a mission to become MECCA Heavyweight Champion, but first he has to finish his business with Nykk.

Dick: Low Ki has not liked Nykk from the moment they met. I can only imagine what would happen if Low Ki did lose tonight.

("Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)

David: It was Low Ki who started this whole thing with Nykk, attacking him at every turn and basically forcing Nykk to drop his war against C.M. Punk and SELF and try to settle things with him.

Dick: The Alpha Wolf looks determined, but can he counter the stiff martial arts and high-flying of Low Ki? He hasn't been able to yet.

Nykk vs. Low Ki
Referee: David Bowers

(FINISH: Nykk counters a spinning wheel kick into the Bellbrook Cedarleaf. Low Ki manages to make his way to the ropes, and Nykk is forced to break the hold. He tries pulling Low Ki off the ropes, but Bowers pulls Nykk off. Nykk shoves Bowers away, allowing Low Ki to hit a low blow. He goes for a backdrop, but Nykk lands on his feet and hits a leg lariat. He whips Low Ki into the corner and charges, but Low Ki gets a foot up. Ki goes to the top rope, but Nykk crotches him on the top turnbuckle. He goes up for a superplex, but Ki fights his way out of it and goes for the top rope Ki Krusher. Nykk counters it into a flying headscissors, somersaulting Low Ki halfway across the ring. Nykk covers and gets a close two count. They get up, and Low Ki ducks a back elbow and goes for a roundhouse kick. Nykk ducks and grabs a waistlock. Low Ki elbows him and reverses the waistlock. He spins Nykk around and kicks him, going for the Ki Krusher. However, Nykk escapes into a waistlock and executes a German Suplex into a roll up for the three count.)

Winner: Nykk

David: Nykk just pinned Low Ki! He's been waiting for this moment for months!

Dick: But will he live to enjoy it? He escaped by the skin of his teeth and Low Ki looks hot.

(Nykk rolls out of the ring and celebrates in the aisle as Low Ki pounds the mat in frustration.)

David: Low Ki cannot believe that he lost to Nykk, and now Nykk will receive a title shot against C.M. Punk, finally able to follow up on their Match of the Year Candidate from the MECCA Challenge.

Dick: His matches against Low Ki have to be considered for Match of the Year status as well. Nykk has really been shining in MECCA, but it hasn't paid off quite yet.

David: Up next, our eight-man main event as the Straight Edge Lifestyle Foundation takes on the Eccentric Alliance. This whole thing started when Cheesecake managed to get a count-out victory over C.M. Punk a month and a half ago, and it has escalated to include members from both groups, as Punk has had to go through hell and back defending his title against Spanky and Cheesecake in the past few weeks. But tonight, it's gang warfare as Punk, Eddie Crowe and the Pyro Twins take on Huh, Cheesecake, Spanky and Delirious.

("La Macarena" hits and the Eccentric Alliance make their way to the ring.)

David: So many mini-rivalries have come out of this war of factions. Cheesecake vs. Punk, Spanky vs. Punk, Cheesecake vs. Eddie... whoever comes out on top has a definite advantage as far as power and clout goes.

Dick: I would have never thought that these idiots could be such a force, but it looks like I was mistaken. Here they are, main eventing Liberty or Death.

("Miseria Cantare" hits and SELF make their way to the ring.)

David: Here comes the Straight Edge Lifestyle Foundation, led by MECCA Champion C.M. Punk.

Dick: Punk has got to be thinking about Nykk winning the previous match, and he can't do that right now. He's got to lead his team to victory.

The Eccentric Alliance vs. SELF
Referee: Keith Young

(The bell rings, and Delirious goes nuts. He attacks all four members of SELF, who easily fight back. The other Eccentrics charge, and a big brawl erupts. It settles down to Huh and Eddie Crowe starting out for their teams. They jaw back and forth for a few moments, and then Huh tells Eddie that he's just going to swing his arms, and if he happens to get hit, it's his own fault. He starts swinging his arms, and Eddie just stands there watching him with a look of disbelief on his face. He just waits as Huh keeps swinging his arms. Finally, Huh starts to tire and slows down. When he seems on the verge of collapsing, Eddie makes his move and charges. However, Huh sends him down with a hard right hand and then another one. Eddie staggers into a corner, and Huh gives him some chops to the chest. He whips Eddie to the opposite corner, but Eddie reverses and charges. Huh comes out of the corner with a standing avalanche, sending Eddie down again. He gives Eddie a hiptoss and then a clothesline. He tags Cheesecake, and they whip Eddie into the ropes, giving him a double looper. Cheesecake covers and gets a one count. He goes for a vertical suplex, but Eddie escapes and waistlocks Cheesecake. Cheesecake runs to the ropes to throw Eddie off, and Eddie somersaults backwards. He charges Cheesecake, but gets backdropped over the top rope. He lands on the apron and tries a right, but Cheesecake blocks it and sends Eddie to the floor with a butt bump. Cheesecake poses in the ring as Eddie fumes at ringside. Jay and Dusty try to calm him down as Punk shouts instructions to him. Eddie rolls back in and goes to lock up with Cheesecake, but fakes it and thumbs him in the eye. He grabs a headlock, and Cheesecake backs him into the ropes, whipping him off to the other side. Cheesecake sends Eddie down with a shoulderblock and bounces off the ropes. Eddie drops down, and then hits a running front dropkick as Cheesecake rebounds. He picks Cheesecake up for a back suplex but then slams him tailbone first to the mat. He tags Dusty in, and grabs Cheesecake, raising an arm so Dusty can kick him in the ribs. Dusty gives him another kick and then a forearm. He whips him into the ropes, but Cheesecake reverses and hits a back elbow. He gives Dusty a falling headbutt and then brings him to his feet, tagging Delirious. Delirious takes a jog around the ring as Cheesecake sets Dusty up. Delirious bounces off the ropes, and they give Dusty a spinebuster/dropkick combo. Delirious picks Dusty up and applies an armwringer, screaming “Michaels! Jannetty! Michaels! Jannetty!” over and over again. He runs a lap around Dusty and tags in Huh, who applies an armwringer again. He cranks up on it, and tags Delirious back in. Delirious grabs the armwringer and runs around Dusty again, tagging Huh back in. Before Huh can tag Delirious back in, Spanky tags himself in and springboards to the top rope, coming down with a double axehandle across Dusty’s shoulder. He applies an armbar, and Dusty rights himself. He whips Spanky into the ropes and sends him down with a shoulderblock. Spanky kips up as Dusty bounces off the ropes and delivers another shoulderblock. Again, Spanky kips up and Dusty bounces off the ropes. Spanky gives him a drop toehold and grabs a headlock, but Dusty stands up and goes for a teardrop suplex. Spanky escapes and somersaults over Dusty, taking him over with a sunset flip for a two count. He gives Dusty a leg lariat and then goes for Sliced Bread #2. Dusty throws him off and then picks him up wheelbarrow style. Jay and Eddie come in and deliver a double bulldog to Spanky as Dusty slams him down to the mat. Dusty covers and gets a two count. He tags in Jay, and they whip Spanky into the ropes, hitting a double shoulderblock, followed by a double elbow drop. Jay gives him a back suplex, and then kicks him in the head. He tags Dusty, and they give Spanky the Mandate of Heaven. Punk demands the tag, and Dusty reluctantly gives it to him. Punk covers Spanky, but only gets a two count. Punk lifts him by the hair and gives him a kick to the spine. He sets Spanky up and calls for Welcome to Chicago, delivering the move. He tags Eddie, who gives Spanky a couple of European uppercuts. He goes for a flatliner to set up the Crowe’s Nest, but Spanky throws him off and runs for his corner. Eddie intercepts him by spearing him back into his own corner. He tags Jay, and Dusty wraps the tag rope around Spanky’s neck while Jay kicks him in the midsection. Young makes them break it up, and Jay whips Spanky into a neutral corner. He goes for a belly-to-belly suplex, but Spanky reverses it. Jay tags Eddie as Spanky goes for his corner. Huh gets tagged in and lays into Eddie with right hands. He whips him into the ropes and hits a back body drop, followed by a DDT. He covers, but Jay comes in and breaks it up. All eight men come in to brawl, and Eddie kicks Huh in the midsection. He whips him into the ropes, but Huh reverses it and hits the Windbreaker. He goes up for a moonsault, but Delirious gets whipped into the ropes, crotching Huh on the top turnbuckle. Punk throws Delirious out of the ring and brawls with Cheesecake as the Pyro Twins give Spanky Final Darkness. Jay and Dusty lift Huh off the top turnbuckle for a double back suplex, but Eddie suddenly goes to the top and comes off with a somersault seated senton, adding his own impact to the move. Eddie covers and gets the three count.)

David: We've had our first elimination, and it was Huh after that unbelievable triple team by the Pyro Twins and Eddie Crowe!

Dick: What a spectacular move that was, David. Now the Eccentric Alliance is at a 4-3 disadvantage.

(Cheesecake tackles Eddie as things settle down again and pummels him with right hands. He whips him into the corner and hits a running clothesline. He bounces off the ropes, but Eddie hits a spinning clothesline. He tags Jay in, and Jay starts stomping Cheesecake’s ribs. Cheesecake gives Jay a flapjack and tags Delirious, who slingshots in with a rolling hilo. He sets Jay up for the Chemical Imbalance #2, but Jay lands on his feet and stuns Delirious with a back elbow. He bounces off the ropes, but Delirious gives him an inverted atomic drop. He bounces off the ropes, only to be tripped by Punk from the outside. As Punk distracts the ref, Jay removes his shirt and wraps it around Delirious’s throat. Delirious struggles to breathe, and does the only thing he can think of: he tries to touch all four corners of the ring. Young sees what’s happening and tries to get Jay to let go while at the same time informing Delirious that this isn’t a strap match. Jay finally flings Delirious to the ground after he touches his third turnbuckle. Jay moves in for the kill, but Delirious headbutts him in the midsection and lunges for the fourth corner, finally making it. He starts to celebrate, but gets hit with a running knee to the midsection from Jay. He tags in Punk, who puts the boots to Delirious in the corner. He gives him the Face Wash, followed by a running boot to the face. He picks him up and delivers a rolling Samoan Drop. He tags in Eddie, who goes to the top rope and hits a shooting star senton splash on Delirious. He covers for a close two count. He gives Delirious a snap suplex and tags Dusty, who gives Delirious a kneedrop. He goes for the Rope Burn II, but Delirious starts biting him. Dusty lets go and kicks Delirious in the ribs to get him off the ropes. Punk tags in and brings Delirious up to the top rope for the Pepsi Plunge. Delirious counters with a backdrop, but Jay hits him in the face to send him back to the mat. Young starts the count, but they’re both up by seven. Delirious blocks Punk’s rights and nails him with some of his own. Punk ducks under another right and tries one of his own, but Delirious catches Punk’s hand in his mouth, biting him. Punk screams in pain and tears his hand away from Delirious. Delirious gives him an armdrag, followed by an enzugiri. He goes to the top rope and hits Shadows Over Hell, but Eddie and the Pyro Twins come in to break it up. They take out Spanky and Cheesecake and Dusty lifts Delirious for a powerbomb. Jay catches his head so that they hold him horizontal. Eddie comes off the top rope with a double stomp on Delirious, and Dusty and Jay drop to their knees to jar his back. They stand up and Dusty throws the body aside into a flatliner from Jay. Punk crawls over and covers Delirious for the three count.)

David: That Pyro Twins/Eddie triple team offense is deadly! That's the second member of the Eccentric Alliance in a row they’ve taken out, leaving Spanky and Cheesecake at a 4-2 disadvantage.

(Cheesecake comes in and brawls with Punk as Young gets the Pyro Twins and Eddie out, and Delirious starts to wake up. He crawls over and bites Punk in the ass right after Punk kicks Cheesecake in the nuts. Punk turns around and sees Delirious, who gets a look of fear on his face. Punk tells Delirious that he’s dead, and chases him out of the ring. Delirious hops the guardrail and crawls under some fans’ seats. Punk looks for him, but Delirious hides in the crowd, and Punk can’t find him. Eventually, Delirious's head pops up and Punk shouts and points at him and rushes over, but Delirious drops back down and crawls to a new hiding place. In the ring, Young is administering the ten count and eventually counts Punk out.)

David: I don't believe it! C.M. Punk, the MECCA Champion, is the first to be eliminated from his team!

Dick: He went after that idiot Delirious and couldn't find him. It just goes to show that you can’t lose your cool during the match.

(Punk protests to Young, who tells him to hit the showers. Eddie also protests, but turns around to receive a jawbreaker from Cheesecake. Cheesecake hits Eddie with rights and whips him into the ropes, but Eddie reverses. He drops down, and Cheesecake charges into a double shoulderblock from the Pyro Twins. Eddie puts Cheesecake in a camel clutch, and the Pyro Twins hit the Compactor to Cheesecake's ribs. Eddie tags Dusty in, and Dusty puts the boots to Cheesecake. He chokes him across the middle rope and then kicks him in the ribs. He applies a reverse chinlock, and Cheesecake starts to fade. However, he makes it to his feet and elbows Dusty until he lets go of the hold. Cheesecake bounces off the ropes and tries a clothesline, but Dusty catches his head and arm and delivers a uranage suplex. He covers and gets a two count. He places Cheesecake on the top turnbuckle and goes for a backdrop suplex from the top. However, Cheesecake counters into a high cross body and they both crash to the mat. Cheesecake crawls to his corner and tags Spanky, who springboards in with a back elbow. He gives Dusty some forearms and then whips him into the ropes. Dusty ducks a back elbow and then kicks back at Spanky's ribs, following up with a hard clothesline. Eddie and Jay come in for another triple team move. Dusty starts to whip Spanky off the ropes, and Eddie drops down. However, Spanky reverses and Eddie tries to get up, but Dusty ends up tripping over him and falling flat on his face. Cheesecake comes in and he and Spanky give Eddie and Jay simultaneous dropkicks. Dusty whips him into the corner and charges, but Spanky gets his feet up. He goes to the second turnbuckle and rolls Dusty up with a Tornado inside cradle, getting the pin.)

David: Finally, the Eccentric Alliance was able to counter those deadly triple team moves and now we won't see any more of those because Dusty has been taken out of the equation.

Dick: It's evened up at two on two, Spanky and Cheesecake vs. Jay and Eddie Crowe. It's anybody's match.

(Spanky dodges a running dropkick from Eddie and drops an elbow on the back of his head. He picks him up and goes for Sliced Bread #2, but Jay comes in and catches Spanky as he flips over. The Crowes prepare for a double team move, but Cheesecake comes in with a double clothesline. Jay crawls to the corner as Spanky picks Eddie up. Eddie rakes his eyes and tags Jay. Jay gives Spanky a couple of kicks to the midsection and whips him into the corner. Spanky reverses and then hits Dr. Smoothe's Secret Recipe. He hits a running enzugiri and covers, but Jay kicks out. He whips Jay into the ropes, but he reverses and pulls Spanky in to hit a belly to belly suplex. Cheesecake comes in and attacks him, but Young makes him go back to his corner. Jay goes for a triangle choke, but Spanky spins around and kicks him. Jay staggers backwards into Cheesecake, who lifts him for the Screw-Driver. He runs out of the corner and he and Spanky hit a variation of the Flathead. Spanky covers and gets the three count.)

David: The tables are turned, and Eddie is now at a two on one disadvantage!

Dick: The Eccentric Alliance might pull out a victory yet. Spanky and Cheesecake are working as a cohesive team in there.

(Eddie charges in and knocks Spanky down with a forearm. Cheesecake goes for a double leg takedown, but Eddie pounds him across the back and then kicks him hard in the face. He bounces off the ropes and hits a dropkick to Cheesecake and then snapmares Spanky. He kicks him in the spine and then kicks him across the chest to send him to his back. He bounces off the ropes and hits a kneedrop, covering for a two count. He whips Spanky into the ropes, but Spanky reverses. He goes for a spinning clothesline, but Eddie catches his arm and gives him the Flatliner, segueing into the Crowe's Nest. However, Spanky gets a foot on the bottom rope. Eddie lets up and signals for the Gutwrench Driver. Spanky escapes and somersaults to his feet, hitting a leg lariat to send Eddie down. Spanky crawls to Cheesecake and makes the tag. Cheesecake sends Eddie down with a clothesline and then a scoop slam, followed by a falling headbutt. He covers and gets a two count. He whips Eddie into the ropes and hits a spinebuster, then signals for the Long Kiss Goodnight. He hooks Eddie, but Eddie drives him back into the corner, smashing Young into the turnbuckles. Eddie backs up and goes for a dropkick, but Cheesecake moves and Eddie knocks out Young. As Eddie gets up, Cheesecake hits the Long Kiss Goodnight. He covers, but Young is out. Cheesecake gets up as he sees Trent Acid charging down. Acid slides in and superkicks Cheesecake. Spanky comes in, but gets a Yakuza Kick. Acid wakes Eddie up, but suddenly Dreamo charges out with Medea Knight following him with a ringing alarm clock. Dreamo tackles Acid from behind and pummels him with rights. Acid gets up and fights back, but Dreamo spears him into the corner and then bounces off the ropes, clotheslining Acid over the top rope. Eddie charges Dreamo, but gets sent down with a back elbow. Dreamo executes the Dream Sequence just before Young wakes up. Acid drags Dreamo out of the ring to brawl some more, and Spanky tags himself in. He hits Eddie with forearms and whips him into the corner, but Eddie reverses. Spanky tips up and catches Eddie with a hurricanrana, covering to get the three count.)

Winners: The Eccentric Alliance

David: I don't believe it, the Eccentric Alliance has done it! They've beaten the Straight Edge Lifestyle Foundation!

Dick: Yeah, thanks to that idiot Dreamo! Acid came out to make this a fair fight, but there always seems to be an extra Eccentric lurking somewhere.

(Huh and Delirious come out to celebrate with Spanky, Cheesecake, Dreamo and Medea. They all group hug and walk back to the dressing room. Huh breaks out a bottle of champagne and accidentally sprays it in Delirious's face. Delirious drops to the ground in agony like he's just been squirted with sulfuric acid. Huh grabs him by the leg and drags him back to the dressing room as C.M. Punk shoulders his way past them and back to the ring.)

David: Uh oh, the Eccentric Alliance was victorious, but it looks like we haven't heard the last of SELF tonight.

(Punk rolls into the ring, where Eddie is starting to get up. He smacks Eddie in the face a couple of times, yelling at him for being an embarrassment. Eddie throws Punk's hand off when he grabs him by the hair, then realizes what he just did. Punk's eyes go wide and he grabs Eddie by the throat, backing him up into a corner.)

David: Come on, Punk, he tried his best, but it was two on one.

(The Pyro Twins run back out and pull Punk off of Eddie, and Punk composes himself. He gets a mic.)

Punk: I'm sorry, Eddie. I shouldn't have done that. This is a lesson well-learned for you. However, with every lesson must come pain. Jay, Dusty, give him Final Darkness.

(Jay and Dusty look at each other and then shake their heads.)

Jay: Punk, you know we won't do that!

Punk: Listen to me! Maybe you forgot just who I am! The things I can do to scar this boy's mind are far more painful and longer lasting than Final Darkness! I am the MECCA Champion, the supreme deity of MECCA, and when I give you a command, you will...

("Destroy" suddenly interrupts him. Nykk makes his way to the ring, mic in hand.)

David: Now what?

Dick: Nykk's on his way out here, but he already had his match. What does he have in mind?

Nykk: Hold on, Punk. Your days of terror are coming to an end, both over MECCA and over your own men. Because I stand out here before you, the no. one contender to that belt that you stained with my blood three months ago. And I'm challenging you for that title, not for Summer Showdown, or the next Go Time, or tomorrow afternoon, even... I'm challenging you to a title match right now!

David: Nykk isn't wasting any time in trying to get his hands on the belt.

Dick: What are you doing, Nykk? True, Punk just wrestled in a match, but it was an eight-man tag he was barely in, and you just had a twenty-minute knockdown drag-out with Low Ki!

Punk: Excuse me? What gives you the right to interrupt me as I'm about to discipline my student, to challenge me for my MECCA Championship? Nykk, are not even on the radar right now, but rest assured, I'll deal with you soon enough.

Nykk: No, I think you won't, Punk. It's obvious you're losing your grip. Why don't you stop tinkering with your little toy and start acting like a champion?

Punk: You want a shot now?

Nykk: There was no title match scheduled here in Lansing, and I think the fans have been good tonight. They deserve to be sent home happy.

Punk: Then why don't you get in here and "show me what it's like to be a champion." I would love to beat your ass again. Eddie, Jay, Dusty... step off. I'll deal with you all later. I am the true champion of MECCA, and anyone who says otherwise must be trampled underneath the boot of your god!

(Nykk slides into the ring, and referee David Bowers soon follows, signaling for the bell. Punk attacks Nykk as he's taking off his shirt, and pummels him with forearms.)

MECCA Championship Match: Nykk vs. C.M. Punk
Referee: David Bowers

(FINISH: Punk goes for the Pepsi Plunge, but Nykk manages to counter into the Nykk-ochet. As he goes for the second part, Punk escapes and lands behind him. Nykk elbows him in the face and then gives him a hard European Uppercut, staggering him. He ducks a clothesline from Punk and hits a hard one of his own, sending Punk down. Punk lands on the ropes and bounces back to his feet only to be hit with a running European Uppercut from Nykk, turning him inside out and knocking him unconscious. Nykk covers and gets the surprise three count.)

Winner: Nykk

David: I don't believe it! Punk has been beaten!

Dick: Beaten? He was knocked completely unconscious. Nykk realized he couldn't get Punk to tap out and switched strategies.

David: We have a new MECCA Champion, and it's one of the owners of this company! Nykk's been chasing after this title since the beginning, and he finally has it.

(Nykk runs out into the crowd to celebrate.)

David: The celebration is underway for Nykk, but Punk is going to be furious when he wakes up. We'll see you on Go Time, fans. Good night!
