Punked Out

Louisville, KY

Dark Match: Kevin Stone vs. Joey Sprinklers

(FINISH: Joey hits Kevin with his skateboard and covers for a close two count. He lifts Kevin for Da Sprinklanator, but Kevin is too heavy and counters into a high cross body for two. Kevin whips him into the ropes for a Stone Cutter, but Joey manages to land on his feet and dropkick the knee. He whips Kevin into the ropes, but it gets reversed and Kevin plants him with a Spinning Chokeslam and gets the pin.)

Winner: Kevin Stone

("Neocon" opening.)

David: We are live from the Bingham Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky! Tonight, the MECCA Championship will be defended for the first time as the champ, C.M. Punk, goes one on one with the challenger, Alan Mayse. Hello, everyone, I'm David Mills.

Dick: And I'm Dick Broccoli. All of MECCA's titles will be on the line tonight. Of course, we saw the UK Wrecking Crew get past Reckless Abandon. Now they take on the other duo of the Eccentric Alliance, Huh and Cheesecake.

David: Plus, Lisa Letty defends the Ladies' Title against Misery, and of course, Nykk will take on Eddie Crowe. He's been waiting a while for this one. All that and much more here tonight.

("My Friend of Misery" hits and Misery makes her way to the ring.)

David: We're set for our first title defense tonight, as Misery has been slowly climbing the rankings over the past month.

Dick: She beat out three other women last month to earn this title shot, and has since scored a non-title victory over Lisa Letty.

("Edge of Seventeen" hits and Lisa Letty makes her way to the ring.)

David: Lisa has been an honorable and fighting champion, and she doesn't look ready to relinquish the belt here tonight.

Dick: She may not have a choice. Misery's on a roll and may flatten Lisa if she's not careful.

MECCA Ladies' Title: Lisa Letty vs. Misery
Referee: Nikki Alvarado

(The bell rings, and the two ladies lock up. Lisa armdrags Misery, who then charges back in to get another armdrag. Misery thinks about it for a moment and then locks up with Lisa again. She tries an armdrag of her own, but Lisa holds on and reverses the armdrag. Lisa follows up with a clothesline and then bounces off the ropes, hitting a dropkick. She covers and gets a one count. Misery goes to a corner, and Lisa follows her, giving her some chops. She whips her to the opposite side, but Misery stops herself with a foot on the bottom turnbuckle and elbows a charging Lisa in the face. She tries a clothesline, but Lisa ducks and rolls her up for a one count. Misery gets up, but Lisa rolls her up with an inside cradle for a two count. She gets up and Lisa yells out, "Here comes three!" Misery charges with a clothesline, but Lisa ducks and rolls her up with a crucifix for a close two count. Misery beats the mat in frustration as Lisa poses for the crowd. Misery calms herself down and they get ready to lock up again. Misery fakes it and thumbs Lisa in the eye. She headbutts Lisa and executes a fireman's carry takeover into an armbar. Lisa manages to get to her feet, and Misery turns it into an armwringer. Lisa uses the ropes to do a backflip and alleviate the pressure, and hits Misery with a drop toehold. She bounces off the ropes and tries a flying headscissors, but Misery slams her to the mat. She tries a suplex, but Lisa escapes and pushes her into the ropes, dropping down and hitting a back elbow. She gives Misery a snap suplex and then goes to the second rope, hitting a bulldog. She covers for a two count. She legdrops Misery's arm, and then bounces off the ropes and stomps it. She applies a keylock, and Misery tries to reach for the ropes. She finally makes it, and Nikki makes Lisa let go. Lisa backs off, but when she moves back in, Misery grabs her by the tights and throws her through the ropes and to the floor. Lisa lands hard on her neck, and is slow getting up. Nikki gets up to a seven count before Misery breaks it up. She pulls Lisa back in the ring and begins kneeing her in the midsection. She follows up with a swinging neckbreaker and covers for a two count. Lisa uses the ropes to get up, but Misery wraps her arm around the top rope and the ref makes her break the hold. Misery backs off and then sends Lisa down with a boot to the temple. She scoop slams Lisa and then goes to the second rope, hitting a clothesline and covering for a two count.)

David: Lisa looks like she hasn't recovered from her spill to the outside, and Misery is taking advantage.

Dick: It just goes to show how a single misstep can cost you dearly.

(Misery gives Lisa a back suplex and then applies a camel clutch. Lisa starts to lose consciousness, but when Nikki drops her arm once, Lisa gets some life back. She manages to get to all fours, but Misery jumps down across her back and locks in the camel clutch again. Lisa gets up again, and Misery turns it into a sleeper, jumping onto Lisa's back. Lisa rams her back into the turnbuckles to make her break the hold. She gives Misery some back elbows, and hits a rolling dropkick to the midsection when Misery covers up. She gives Misery a back body drop, and goes for the Letty Stretch. Misery won't go down, so Lisa gives her a butterfly suplex instead. She covers and gets a two count. She gives Misery some rights and bounces off the ropes, but Misery hits a spinning wheel kick that floors Lisa. She covers and gets a two count. She gives Lisa a delayed vertical suplex and then goes to the top rope. She goes for a somersault senton, but Lisa moves. Nikki starts the count, and they're both up by six. Misery whips Lisa into the ropes, but Lisa jumps to the second rope and vaults off backwards, perching on Misery's shoulders. She takes her over into a hurricanrana, and follows up with an inverted atomic drop and a dropkick. She goes to the top rope and hits the Letty Press, getting a two count. She signals for a Letty Driver, but Misery counters with a backdrop. However, Lisa rolls through with a sunset flip and gets a close two count. As Lisa argues with the ref, Misery hits her with a hard lariat from behind. She signals that it's over and whips Lisa into the ropes. Lisa reverses and puts her head down. Misery hits an armbar DDT, and immediately locks in the Friendship Bracelet. After about twenty seconds, Lisa just barely manages to get a foot under the bottom rope. Nikki has to pull Misery off her, and admonishes her for not breaking the hold. Lisa charges Misery but gets caught with a spinning backhand. Misery goes to the outside and springboards to the top rope for Miserable Times, but Lisa moves and Misery kneedrops the mat. She limps up, and Lisa hooks her for the Letty Stretch. Misery won't go down again, and shifts her weight to avoid a butterfly suplex. Finally, Lisa Pedigrees her, and then somersaults over to apply the Letty Stretch. Misery holds on for a few moments, but finally taps out.)

Winner: Lisa Letty

David: Lisa Letty is once again impressive in retaining her Ladies' Championship!

Dick: That was a great title match, David, and Misery gave it her all despite not having the experience of Lisa Letty.

(Lisa staggers out of the ring as Misery throws a temper tantrum.)

David: Misery is not happy about this. She'll have to work her way into contention again if she wants a rematch. Up next, the second of our three title matches tonight. The MECCA Tag Team Titles will be on the line as the UK Wrecking Crew defends against the Eccentrics.

Dick: And you just know the Pyro Twins are lurking somewhere around here, looking to play mind games with that World Cup trophy that they still have in their possession.

("Pajamarama" hits and the Eccentrics make their way to the ring.)

David: A great opportunity here for the Eccentrics, their first shot at the titles since the International Invitational. They're coming off a strong win over KDX, so let's see if they can keep the momentum going.

Dick: Huh has a way of having things go wrong, though he gets lucky every once in a while. I wouldn't count on them taking the titles tonight, since the UKWC is on an even bigger roll.

("Ironman" hits and the UK Wrecking Crew make their way to the ring.)

David: Andy Nathans and Jack Fletcher have not lost a tag team match since their debut. They flew through the International Invitational, and beat Huh and Cheesecake's fellow Eccentric Alliance members Reckless Abandon a couple of weeks ago in a rematch from the finals.

Dick: The Eccentrics have beaten them in separate singles matches over the past couple of weeks, which solidified their standing as number one contenders, but singles wrestling is a different game entirely.

MECCA Tag Team Titles: The UK Wrecking Crew vs. The Eccentrics
Referee: Keith Young

(FINISH: Huh hits the moonsault on Fletcher, but Nathans breaks up the count, prompting Cheesecake in. Cheesecake backdrops Nathans over the top rope and then goes to the top rope, hitting a diving headbutt on Fletcher. Nathans pulls him out of the ring and tries to send him into the post, but Cheesecake reverses. Huh whips Fletcher into the ropes and tries a backdrop, but Fletcher lands on his feet as Cheesecake gets back up to the apron. Fletcher pushes Huh into Cheesecake, who gets his leg trapped in between the second and bottom rope and hangs from the ring. Fletcher dropkicks Huh's knee to send him down as Nathans rolls in. They hit the Wrecking Ball and Fletcher covers for the three count.)

Winners: The UK Wrecking Crew

David: The UKWC retain the titles after Fletcher took advantage of Cheesecake getting back into the ring.

Dick: That was some quick thinking by Fletcher, and it rendered Cheesecake immobile long enough for the UK Wrecking Crew to hit the Wrecking Ball and get the victory over Huh.

(The UKWC celebrates in the ring, when the Pyro Twins suddenly walk out from behind the curtain. Dusty is carrying the World Cup, and Jay has a mic.)

David: Wait a minute, the Pyro Twins are out here. What do they want?

Jay: Hey, UK Wrecking Crew! I told you we had something special planned for tonight, and so here we are. I think you remember the International Invitational World Cup... or maybe not, considering you haven't put your greasy hands on it once since it was awarded to you. Normally, I'd just say that possession is nine tenths of the law, but in this case, Dusty and I are going to make an exception and give it back to you. Sorry about the trouble.

(Dusty puts the trophy down, and the Pyro Twins leave.)

David: What the hell?

Dick: Dusty and Jay are giving up the World Cup without a fight?

(The UK Wrecking Crew exits the ring and walks toward the trophy warily. They keep an eye on the curtain, just in case the Pyro Twins jump them. However, when they finally move to grab the trophy, it explodes, propelling the trophy high into the air. It breaks into several pieces when it hits the ground. The UKWC starts to freak out.)

David: Holy crap, the World Cup just exploded!

Dick: They must have put some C4 inside the trophy or something! We should have known better!

David: The Pyro Twins continue their head games against the UK Wrecking Crew, and Nathans and Fletcher are irate.

(The UK Wrecking Crew take the remains of the trophy back to the locker room, as "Fell in Love with a Girl" hits and the Dangerous Liaison makes their way to the ring.)

David: We're continuing with more tag action here at Punked Out. This match was made this past week on Go Time, as Shadow is sick and tired of the Dangerous Liaison's ambushes and run ins.

Dick: But Shadow has that rookie Kelly Schweickart on her team, while LuFisto and Gail Kim are seasoned competitors.

("Faint" hits and Shadow makes her way to the ring. She doesn't wait for Kelly and slides into the ring, and LuFisto and Kim start stomping her. A few moments later, "Take It Off" hits and Kelly Schweickart runs down to even the odds. She slugs it out with Kim as the bell rings.)

David: We've got a hot start to this ladies' tag match, and here we go!

Shadow and Kelly Schweickart vs. LuFisto and Gail Kim
Referee: Rya Zeh

(FINISH: Shadow gets the hot tag, and hits Gail with forearms. She whips her into the ropes and hits a back body drop. She hits an inverted atomic drop and then bounces off the ropes, hitting a flying forearm. LuFisto comes in, but gets a flapjack on top of Kim. Shadow gives Kim a vertical suplex and then goes to the top rope, hitting a missile dropkick on LuFisto and Gail. She covers Gail, but gets a two count. She whips her into the ropes for the Interceptor, but LuFisto intercepts Shadow with a desperate tackle. Kelly comes back in and clotheslines LuFisto. She grabs her in a front facelock and steps off the top turnbuckle, hitting a tornado DDT. She and Shadow give Gail a double fisherman's suplex, but Rya makes Kelly leave the ring. Meanwhile, LuFisto removes one of the turnbuckle pads. Shadow picks up Gail, but gets a knee to the midsection. Gail tries to whip her into the turnbuckle, but Shadow grabs the top rope. However, Gail dropkicks her from behind, sending her headfirst into the turnbuckle ring. Gail crosses Shadow's arms in front of her and drops her back across her knees, then applying a body scissors. Shadow gives in and Rya calls for the bell.)

Winners: The Dangerous Liaison

David: The Dangerous Liaison steals one, thanks to LuFisto removing the turnbuckle pad.

Dick: I thought Kelly might be a hindrance to Shadow, but it was Shadow who ended up taking the fall.

David: Both LuFisto and Gail Kim would like to receive rematches for the Ladies' Title, but that will be up to Katie Piehl to decide. Up next, Nykk faces the impetus of all his problems with the Pyro Twins, Eddie Crowe.

Dick: Last week on Go Time, they were brawling all over the building, but it was Eddie who won that fight.

David: Nykk has promised to take Eddie to school here tonight, and I wouldn't doubt him for a second.

("The Leaving Song Part II" hits and Eddie Crowe makes his way to the ring.)

David: No members of SELF out here for Eddie tonight, as he believes that with his win over Cynric a couple of weeks ago, and the fact that Nykk chose to face him over anyone else tonight, that he has what it takes to beat him.

Dick: Eddie is definitely confident, and he has yet to be beaten in a singles match here in MECCA, so there is some legitimacy to how he feels.

("Destroy" hits and Nykk makes his way to the ring.)

David: It was many months ago that the Pyro Twins turned on their lifelong friend Nykk. We came to find out that C.M. Punk had been training Jay Crowe's brother Eddie, and had complete control over him, and forced the Pyro Twins to join him out of fear of what he could do to Eddie if they refused.

Dick: Nykk blames Eddie and Punk for all of this, and since he couldn't have his rematch against Punk for the championship, he chose Eddie as his opponent tonight.

Nykk vs. Eddie Crowe
Referee: David Bowers

(Nykk turns his back on Eddie as the bell rings, daring him. After glancing at the crowd, Eddie charges, but gets met with a back elbow from Nykk. Eddie goes down but rolls backward to his feet, charging again. This time Nykk hits him with a running back elbow, flooring him. Nykk quickly covers and gets a two count. Eddie rolls to the ropes, and Nykk tells him he was that close to losing in record time. Eddie regains his bearings, and locks up with Nykk. Eddie goes behind and gets a waistlock. Nykk tries another back elbow, but Eddie ducks. Nykk grapevines one of Eddie's legs and gets him in a headlock, rolling forward into a cradle for another two count. They both get to their feet and lock up, but Nykk takes Eddie over with an armdrag. He tries a clothesline, but Eddie catches his arm and swings around Nykk's body, back to his feet. Eddie tries a clothesline, but Nykk ducks and spins, kicking the back of Eddie's knee to send him down. Nykk gives Eddie a couple of forearms and whips him into the ropes. Eddie slides underneath Nykk's legs and tries a kick. Nykk catches his foot and executes a dragonscrew legwhip. Eddie gets to his feet in pain, and Nykk gets a side headlock takeover. He cranks back on Eddie's skull, and gets Eddie's shoulders down for a one count. Eddie tries unsuccessfully to counter into a headscissors, but Nykk evades Eddie's legs. Finally, Eddie pushes Nykk's head down and counters with the headscissors. Nykk lets go of the headlock and rolls to his stomach. He somersaults forward on top of Eddie, getting a two count as Eddie waistlocks him and bridges up. He goes for a backslide, but Nykk rolls through the attempt and tries one of his own. Eddie somersaults backwards to escape and hits Nykk with a hard forearm. He gives him a couple more, and Nykk just takes them. Eddie slaps Nykk as hard as he can, and whips him into the corner, but Nykk reverses and charges, hitting a running European Uppercut, nearly knocking Eddie loopy. Nykk bounces off the ropes and hits a half nelson bulldog, covering for a two count. He yanks Eddie to his feet by the hair and gives him a snap suplex. Eddie sits up in pain, and Nykk bounces off the ropes, dropkicking him in the back of the head. Nykk picks him up and nails a backbreaker. He goes for the Cedarleaf, but Eddie curls into a ball and Nykk can't get him over. Finally, Nykk just lifts the ball of Eddie into the air and slams him to the mat.)

David: It looks like Eddie has called down the thunder with this match. Nykk is absolutely owning C.M. Punk's student.

Dick: This could be some strategy by Eddie, but I have to question it if it is. Any strategy that involves Nykk beating on you for five minutes straight is not a good one.

(Eddie backs into a corner and Nykk charges, but gets met with a thumb to the eye. Eddie clotheslines Nykk from behind, sending him to the mat. He bounces off the ropes and hits a running elbow drop, covering for a one count. He tries it again, but Nykk moves. Eddie holds his elbow, and Nykk gets an armwringer, somersaulting Eddie to his back. Nykk grabs Eddie's leg and pulls it back, dropping his own body weight right across the knee. Eddie rolls out of the ring, limping, but Nykk gives him a baseball slide into the guardrail. He goes out after Eddie and grabs him by the hair, running him a full lap around the ring before slamming his head into the guardrail. He kicks Eddie in the head a few times and then rolls him into the ring. He picks Eddie up, and Eddie tries to run to the ropes, but Nykk has him by the hair. He pulls him in and hits a back suplex, segueing right into the German. Eddie blocks the dragon suplex and breaks the full nelson. He hits a standing enzugiri on Nykk to double him over and then goes for the Gutwrench Driver. However, Nykk refuses to leave his feet and counters with three rolling gutwrench suplexes. He covers and gets another two count. He smacks Eddie across the head and tells him that it's time to die. He goes for Howling Moon II, but Eddie escapes, seating himself on the top turnbuckle. He kicks Nykk in the back of the head and then goes for a Tornado DDT. Nykk sets him right back on the top turnbuckle and gives him a couple of hard knife edge chops. He climbs the ropes and goes for the Nykk-ochet, and hits the northern lights superplex. He rolls through and goes for the second northern lights, but Eddie counters with a sunset flip. Nykk rolls through, but Eddie rolls over and kicks him in the head. Nykk backs up and charges, but Eddie jumps up with a spinning heel kick, staggering Nykk. Eddie bounces off the ropes and hits a swinging reverse DDT to finally put Nykk down. He covers and gets a two count. He picks Nykk up and knees him in the head a couple of times, and then snapmares him over. He applies a stump puller and drops back, wrenching Nykk's neck. Eddie kicks at the arm as well, straightening it on the mat and giving it a kneedrop. Nykk gets to his feet using the ropes, and Eddie gives him some kicks to the midsection. He whips him into the ropes, but Nykk reverses. Nykk goes for a hurricanrana, but Eddie counters with a sitout powerbomb for a two count.)

David: Nykk may have gotten a little overconfident there. He went for his trump card too early, and Eddie was able to capitalize.

Dick: We also just saw him try to bust out that hurricanrana that he likes to use in desperate situations, but Eddie's obviously done his homework.

(Eddie grapevines Nykk's arm across the top rope, and breaks the hold at the four count, kicking at the shoulder joint. Eddie applies a Fujiwara Armbar, and looks like he's trying to pull Nykk's arm out of the socket. After about twenty seconds, Nykk makes it to the ropes. Eddie breaks the hold, but bounces off the ropes and dropkicks Nykk in the head, sending him to the outside. He goes outside and gives Nykk a swinging neckbreaker on the floor. He rolls in the ring and lets Bowers start the count. At eight, Nykk slides back in, and Eddie legdrops him on the back of the head. He applies the Cobra Clutch, and tries for a Russian Legsweep, but Nykk blocks it. He tries to swing Eddie back around, but Eddie still has the Clutch applied and brings Nykk down with a flatliner, sitting up to apply the Crowe's Nest. Nykk screams in pain, and Nykk tries to back toward the ropes. He almost gets a foot on the bottom rope, but Eddie puts his own feet on the rope, pushing it away from Nykk. Finally, Bowers sees it and forces Eddie to break the hold. Eddie continues to kick at the head and arm, and bounces off the ropes, dropkicking Nykk in the back of the head. He signals for the Gutwrench Driver, but Nykk shifts his weight and lands on his feet. He hits a leg lariat, and crawls to the corner as Bowers starts the ten count. Nykk is up at seven and goes to the top rope. However, Eddie gets up and punches Nykk in the stomach. He grabs Nykk's hair and headbutts him a couple of times, going up to the top rope with him. He goes for a superplex, but Nykk hits him in the midsection and elbows him in the face. He picks Eddie up in a fireman's carry and gives him a rolling Samoan drop from the top rope. He crawls over and covers, but Eddie kicks out after a long two count. Eddie kicks back at Nykk, nailing him in the head, and staggers to his feet. He bounces off the ropes, but Nykk catches him with a back body drop. He lifts Eddie for a flapjack, but slams his knee into the mat. He applies a figure four leglock, but Eddie makes it to the ropes. Nykk grabs Eddie by the head before he breaks the hold and brings him to his feet, hitting the Trinity. Eddie rolls out of the ring, and Nykk goes out after him. He picks him up, but Eddie hits him with a running knee. He pulls out the guardrail a bit and throws Nykk to the other side. He hits him with some rights and then prepares for an Asai Moonsault. Nykk gets back over the guardrail and pulls Eddie off the ropes. Eddie strikes his head on the apron and Nykk gives him some rights. He gets on the apron and takes Eddie up with him. He picks him up in a fireman's carry and gives him another rolling Samoan drop, this time across the guardrail. Both men lay on the concrete, but Nykk gets Eddie back in the ring just before the ten count. He covers and gets a close two count. Nykk goes for the Cedarleaf, but Eddie won't roll over. Nykk gives him a modified giant swing, and then quickly rolls him over into the Cedarleaf. Eddie desperately reaches for the ropes, and uses them to pull himself up to where he can force his legs down and break the hold, somersaulting Nykk. Nykk gets to his feet and charges, but Eddie meets him with a Yakuza Kick. Nykk staggers, and Eddie gives him a hurricanrana into the turnbuckles. Nykk staggers out, and Eddie goes for a backslide, but instead whips Nykk over his shoulders into a kind of backslide powerbomb. Nykk is out cold, and Eddie isn't far from it. He signals one more time for the Gutwrench Driver and pulls Nykk's lifeless body to his feet. However, Nykk suddenly springs to life and rolls up Eddie with a tight inside cradle, getting the three count out of nowhere.)

Winner: Nykk

David: I'll be damned. Nykk was playing Eddie, and caught him with one of the oldest tricks in the book.

Dick: I thought these two were going to fight each other to the death. What a match!

(Bowers raises Nykk's hand, as Nykk looks one step from passing out again, and Eddie is irate. Nykk taunts him, and Eddie snaps, charging Nykk. However, Nykk rolls backward and grabs Eddie's legs, forcing him down with his own momentum and then standing up to lock in the Cedarleaf. Nykk drops to one knee, and Eddie taps out. After a while, Nykk finally lets go of the hold as Bowers has to practically pull him off.)

David: Nykk got the win, giving Eddie Crowe is first ever loss in a singles match, and then rubbed salt in the would by making Eddie tap out.

Dick: This is far from over between Nykk and SELF, but tonight he did indeed school Eddie with a wrestling lesson.

(Nykk grabs Eddie by the hair again, but "Burning Times" hits and Jay Crowe runs down to the ring, shoving Nykk away and getting in his face. As Nykk and Jay jaw at each other, Dusty Schneble runs in from the crowd and forearms Nykk. The Pyro Twins start stomping Nykk.)

David: Now the damn Pyro Twins are out here again.

Dick: They're going to make Nykk pay for what he just did to Eddie.

("Soul Creation" suddenly hits and Cynric sprints to the ring. The Pyro Twins attack him and whip him into the ropes. They put their heads down, but Cynric sends Dusty down with a crescent kick and clotheslines Jay. Nykk tackles Dusty and they brawl to the back, as Cynric hits Jay with rights. Bowers helps Eddie to the back as Keith Young slide into the ring and calls for the bell.)

Cynric vs. Jay Crowe
Referee: Keith Young

(FINISH: Jay reverses a whip into the corner, and goes for the Overhaul. Cynric lands on his feet and spins, sweeping Jay's legs. He goes for the Lift Off, but Jay counters with a belly to belly suplex. Jay goes to the top rope and tries a hurricanrana, but Cynric catches him and runs him to the corner, powerbombing him into the turnbuckles. Cynric segues right into the Shock Cannon, and covers to get the three count.)

Winner: Cynric

David: Cynric just pinned one half of the Pyro Twins, and gets some revenge for Jay costing him his match against Eddie a couple of weeks ago.

Dick: Cynric hasn't been doing too hot lately, but a win over Jay Crowe is a hard thing to get, and because of it he keeps his spot on the Contender Star. Next time Katie Piehl decides a challenger for the MECCA Champion, Cynric's name could be at the top of the list.

David: Speaking of the MECCA Championship, our main event is up next. C.M. Punk will defend the title against Alan Mayse. Right now, Bill Bicknell is standing by with the challenger.

(Backstage, Bill Bicknell is standing by with Alan Mayse.)

Bill: Alan, in a few short minutes you walk down that aisle in the main event of Punked Out, to challenge for C.M. Punk's MECCA Championship. You're coming off a hell of a month here, and it all started when you got the victory over Low Ki at the MECCA Challenge. And this past week on Go Time, you actually pinned Punk when you hit the Tiger Bomb. Are you having visions of another long title reign?

Alan: To be honest, Bill, I don't have visions of anything until I actually have that belt around my waist. C.M. Punk, twice you've tried to jump me. One time you succeeded, and the other time it wasn’t so successful and I ended up pinning you in the main event of Go Time. I know I scare you, Punk. I know you watched RCW, when I was champion and defending it proudly for over nine months. You know that once I get on a roll, it's damn near impossible to stop my momentum. Nobody really gave me a prayer against Low Ki last month either, but here I am, the first challenger for the MECCA Championship. I'm coming for that belt, Punk. Your brief title reign ends at your first challenger. It's top quality tonight, Punk. I'll see you in the ring.

(He leaves.)

Bill: All right, let's get back to the ring and send it up to ring announcer Jared Schrunk.

(In the arena, the bell rings.)

Jared: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us tonight as MECCA presents Punked Out. It is now time for the main event! The following contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the MECCA Heavyweight Championship!

("Seven Nation Army" hits and Alan Mayse makes his way to the ring.)

David: Alan is looking confident, and looks to be in tremendous shape for this encounter. I don't doubt him for one second, but he's got a hell of a task in front of him.

Dick: That's right, he wants the MECCA Championship, but he has to go through C.M. Punk to get it.

("Miseria Cantare" hits and C.M. Punk makes his way to the ring.)

David: We understand that Jay and Eddie are still in the back recovering from their matches, and Nykk and Dusty have brawled out of the building into who knows where. With Trent Acid not here tonight, that means C.M. Punk has to go through this match all by himself.

Dick: He did the same at the MECCA Challenge. He does not need SELF to help him in these big matches. Punk is one of the finest athletes in the sport.

Jared: To my left, is the challenger. From Fairborn, Ohio... weighing in at 229 lbs... Alaaaan Maaaayse! And his opponent... from Chicago, Illinois... weighing in at 220 lbs... he is the MECCA Champion... C.M. Punk!

MECCA Championship: Alan Mayse vs. C.M. Punk
Referee: David Bowers

(The bell rings and Punk and Alan circle. They lock up, and Punk applies an armwringer. Alan rolls through and manages to sweep Punk's leg. Punk immediately gets back up, but Alan applies an armwringer. He lays in some kicks to Punk's midsection and cranks back on the armwringer, segueing into a hammerlock. Punk grabs Alan's head with his free hand and propels himself upward. He lands behind Alan and gets a waistlock, but Alan reverses it and lifts Punk, slamming him to the mat. Alan rolls over to apply a front facelock, but this time Punk counters into a hammerlock. Punk gets up and stomps Alan's arm. Alan rolls to the ropes and Punk taunts him. Alan charges him and Punk drops down. Alan bounces off the rope and Punk leapfrogs him. Punk tries to drop down again, but Alan sees it coming and tries an elbow drop. However, Punk moves and Alan hurts his elbow on the mat. However, he manages to armdrag Punk and then give him a standing dropkick. Punk rolls out of the ring while Alan checks his arm. He goes over to the ropes and goes for a pescado, but Punk slides back in the ring. Alan lands on his feet on the apron and Punk tries to baseball slide his legs. Alan jumps and Punk slides to the outside. Alan hits a springboard crossbody to take Punk down. He throws Punk back into the ring and goes for a springboard dropkick, but Punk catches him with a dropkick of his own. He puts Alan in a headlock, trapping the arm. He tries to take Alan over with it, but Alan wrenches free and drops a leg on Punk. Punk backs into a corner, and Alan gives him some right hands and chops. He whips Punk to the far side, but Punk reverses. Alan tips up and catches Punk with a headscissors takeover. He clotheslines Punk and then gives him a backbreaker, covering for a one count. He gives Punk some forearms to the back, and then a back suplex. He goes for the Tiger Bomb, but Punk gets free and backs off to the ropes. Alan gives him a vertical suplex and then goes to the top rope, hitting a flying back elbow. He covers and gets a two count. Punk rolls out of the ring, and Alan catches him with a baseball slide. He tries ramming Punk into the post, but Punk reverses the momentum and sends Alan into the post. He clotheslines him to the floor and then stomps him a few times. He throws Alan back in at the seven count.)

David: It looks like Alan went to the outside once too often, and Punk caught him.

Dick: I'm not sure Alan's brawling skills are at the same level as Punk's. This could have been a big mistake on his part.

(Punk snapmares Alan over and kicks him in the back. He applies an armwringer and snaps down hard on it to send Alan to the mat. Punk drops a leg across the arm and then applies an armbar. Alan gets to his feet and whips Punk into the ropes, but Punk kicks him in the midsection and hits the hammerlock DDT. He covers Alan and gets a two count. He tries to get Alan in the Anaconda Vice, but Alan gets free and backs into a corner. Punk hits a running clothesline and then kicks Alan's feet out from under him. He gives Alan the Face Wash and then bounces off the ropes, delivering a kick to the side of his head. Punk pulls him out of the corner and covers for a two count. Punk gives Alan a hanging vertical suplex and then bounces off the ropes, giving him a kneedrop. Punk goes for a juji gatame, and Alan grabs his hand in an attempt to alleviate the pressure. Finally, Punk kicks the other arm away and gets the hold applied. Alan screams in pain and just barely gets a foot on the ropes. Punk releases him and kicks at the arm as Alan gets to his feet. He bounces off the ropes, but Alan catches him with a spinning powerslam, getting a two count. He picks Punk up, but Punk kicks the arm and delivers a modified Welcome to Chicago, dropping Alan's arm across his knee. He gives Alan a hangman's neckbreaker and covers for a two count. Punk immediately bounces off the ropes and delivers a shining wizard, getting a close two count. Punk protests to Bowers about the count, and Alan manages to hit a jawbreaker. He bounces off the ropes, but Punk somersaults him with a knee to the midsection. Punk hits a swinging neckbreaker and tells the crowd that it's over. He goes for the Anaconda Vice, but Alan gets a foot on the ropes. Punk lets go and kicks at Alan furiously. He goes to the outside and brings Alan to the corner with him, going to the top rope. He goes for the Pespi Plunge. Alan gets free when they're airborne and lands on his feet. He gives Punk an exploder suplex with the last of his energy. Bowers starts the count and they're both up by eight. Alan gives Punk some right hands, while favoring his arm. He whips Punk into the ropes and hits a flapjack. He goes outside and hits a springboard dropkick, signaling for the Tiger Bomb. He gets Punk hooked, but Punk counters with a backdrop and rolls to the outside. Alan hits a plancha on him and then throws him back in the ring. He goes to the top rope, but Punk crotches him. He goes up to give Alan a reverse Pepsi Plunge, but Alan fights out of it and hooks Punk, hitting the Tiger Bomb from the top. However, Punk rolls to the outside again before Alan can cover.)

David: Alan just hit his trump card on C.M. Punk, but wisely Punk rolled to the outside.

Dick: Punk keeps taking it to the outside when he's in trouble, and that's smart. Alan cannot beat him on the floor.

(Alan brings Punk into the ring by his hair. He whips him into the ropes and goes for a back body drop, but Punk lands on his feet and executes the Pepsi Twist. He covers and gets another close two count. He gives Alan an arm wrench mule kick, followed by an enzugiri. He goes for the Anaconda Vice again, but Alan escapes behind Punk and hits a German suplex. Alan gives him a running dropkick and then goes for the Tiger Bomb. He lifts Punk, but his arm can't hold him up and Punk gets free. He gives Alan a side headlock takeover and segues into the Anaconda Vice. Alan screams in pain, but he's in the center of the ring and Punk's entire body weight is on top of him. Finally, Alan taps out.)

Winner: C.M. Punk

David: Punk made Alan tap to the Anaconda Vice. He's lucky he was able to avoid the Tiger Bomb, or it would have been over just like it was on Go Time.

Dick: After that Tiger Bomb from the top, I think it would have knocked Punk out. But Punk did a good thing by working over Alan's arm, not only to set up his own hold, but it weakened Alan to the point where he was not able to lift Punk for the Tiger Bomb.

David: Say what you will about C.M. Punk, but he just beat a legitimate contender clean in the middle of the ring. Who will challenge Punk next? Will Alan get a rematch? We'll find out soon enough, but we're out of time tonight. For Dick Broccoli, I'm David Mills. Good night, and thank you for joining us for Punked Out!
