Biltmore Estate
Biltmore House and Gardens was built by George Vanderbilt in 1895. Biltmore Estate is the largest house in the world that brings the enchanting Gilded Age to life. The mansion is a museum because it preserves the original furniture and the treasures that Vanderbilt collected during his life. Biltmore House took 6 years and 1000 men to build.

- The stone spiral staircase has 102 steps
- The Banquet Hall is 74 ft by 42 ft

Chimney Rock Park
Chimney Rock Park is a perfect place to reconnect with nature and spend time with friends and family. This mountains are know for dramatic scenery, exhilarating hiking trails, rare plants, native wildlife, and one of North Carolina's highest waterfalls.
Tips for visiting Chimney Rock Park:
- Plan to spend at least a half day.
- Wear comfortable shoes and clothes
- Arrived early
- Study the map
- Hit the trails
- Bring a picnic
- You can bring your pet but keep on leash
