INTERACTIVE HISTORY

1)Archimedes on Spheres and Circles - This is basically a report on the life of Archimedes, and his contributions to the field of mathematics.  It is not interactive, but does contain some good diagrams that show ways Archimedes found the area of a circle.

2)Thinquest Tutorial - This is an interactive website that covers many aspects of the contributions of Archimedes.  It covers topics from his life to his Principle, and also includes problem sets for students to do once they have learned a certain topic from Archimedes.

3) Crystalinks.com - This website is not interactive, but contains many colorful pictures and illustrations of many findings of Archimedes. It covers such topics as the screw, the lever, and the sphere.  Also, this website gives different details of the death of Archimedes, including recording different accounts as to how it actually happened.

4) Appukids.com - This site is actually a directory to many different sites based on Archimedes.  These sites are mainly biographies of his life and work, but the interesting thing is that a few of them were actually created by other students.
