At the Co. Board meeting in Navan on Monday 1st October the following committee was elected:

Chairman: Noel Farrell (Gaeil Colmcille) Vice Chair: Monica McGovern (Gaeil Colmcille)
Hon. Secretary: Mary Farrell (Gaeil Colmcille) Treasurer: Mary Flood (Bellewstown)
Competition Sec: Noel Farrell (Gaeil Colmcille) Registrar: Terry Allen (Royal Meath)
Juvenile Officer: Monica McGovern (Gaeil Colmcille) PRO: Liam Nelis (Laytown)

Mary Farrell, Noel Farrell (as Competition Secretary), Terry Allen and Liam Nelis were all returned unopposed.

Noel Farrell for Chairman was unopposed as were both Mary Flood for Treasurer and monica McGovern for Vice Chair and juvenile Officer.

Are the officers really doing such a good job as to be continually unopposed or are the other clubs and delegates just not bothered.? Is it right that people who will not take such positions should critisize those who are preared to give up their time for the benefit of the players of the County?
