Day 13 of our South Island tour.
Departed Te Anau 9a.m. via Tuatapere and Riverton scenic route for Invercargill where we arrived for lunch about 1p.m. I bought 5 dozen new-season Bluff oysters which tasted delicious. Our party stayed at the very comfortable Coachmans Inn motel.
After lunch we were fortunate in being able to visit Bill Richardsons private truck collection in Invercargill. There are about 150 vehicles under cover in this collection. Most all are in going order. The few that aren't will be as time permits. There is a large array of vehicle parts and memorabilia around various walls of the complex.
