M O T I V E
You simply rushed me off my feet,
You took my breath away,
You sent me flowers by the gross,
You called me every day.

You rushed me so because, you said,
My beauty made you fall;
You loved my smile and eyes that shone,
You loved my Southern drawl.

You haven't changed a bit, my sweet;
Still rushing, I must say.
But tell me why, when now we meet,
You rush the other way?
......Sue Devlin.
