The Left Unsaid Benefit Show
                Sat. March 1, 2003

Early Saturday, the guys of 44Dead sent an email out letting everyone know that they weren't playing the night's show at Insomnia, citing a cold as the problem.  However, a handful of other good bands preformed including; Minus 7, The Disclaimers and The Sovereign. And were able to draw a pretty full crowd without 44Dead.
The Soveriegn put an ok show but   honestly, I was slightly dissapointed, as I expected a much more energetic feel from this band, and although the members didn't always seem to be playing the same song, the band did well, for being such new commers to the scene. Maybe next time their sound will be a little less disorganized.
The Disclaimers played an ok show, but I've decided that their sound gets boring after the first time you've heard them and the awe at their talent for being as young as they are, fades as well. Hopefully, as the band matures so will their music.
Minus 7 then took the stage and played a lively show. Durring which, they invited Ken Hendricks from the local punk band, Time4Change, on stage to help preform a song. I could have done without this part of the show, as it niether added nor did it subtract from the overall preformance of Minus 7.  The guys of Minus 7 then started off a cover of a song by Falling Process, another local band.
I thought that Minus 7 preformed very well and is definitely a local band to be heard.
