Be thankful for the First Amendment and the media, just remember the media is only human.
I would like to express my appreciation for the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. Without it, this website would not be possible, since it could possibly be shut down for religious reasons, or because I'm only a women, and a minority, or some other stupid excuse for censorship.
The First Amendment isn't only for journalists, it is for every citizen of the United States. It is truly a gift given to us by God so that we would be free to publish and distribute His Word from a conveniant place. I pray that we are multiplying this gift and are being good and loyal servants with this talent that He's given us. Let's not bury or minimize the First Amendment, but instead exploit for His Kingdom.
We should also be thankful for the media, as it acts as a watchdog helping to protect the First Amendment. Without them there would be no pressure on the President to disclose as much information to the public as he does.
The countries who hate, persecute, and kill Christians are the same countries who hate, persecute and kill reporters and photographers dedicated to a free press. |
