Shire

The Shire horse is a cold blooded draft horse that originally comes from England. It's one of the biggest breeds in the world with the average height being 16hh-17.2hh tall. They can be either black, bay, brown or grey.
They used to be used for mostly ploughing fields and pulling all wagons, railway vans and brewers' drays. Now in the show ring they are seen in driving competitions, halter and even under saddle.
