The friesian is a riding, light draft and carriage horse. They are a favorite amongst horse breeds and have a majestic aura. They are often seen performing in the dressage ring and even circuses because of their amazing charisma. They are an ancient breed and have not changed much in appearance since the medieval times when they were ridden by nights wearing heavy armor.
Though friesian horses aren't very common in north america, they are easily recognizable and always the center of attention. They often have very long, thick manes and tails and even feathering on their legs!
