Objectives: Production and operations management is the process of managing people and resources in order to create a product or a service. Operations involve the logistics required to support the production function. This course is about the analytical methods used to support the production and operations management function.

Pre-requisites: Linear programming

Grading:

• Minor 1: 20%
• Majors: 40%
• Tutorials, class participation 20%.
• Project: 20%
• Exams will all be open book.
• There will be no minor 2.
