This was my first attempt at creating a power point presentation.  I was amazingly surprised at how simple it was once I had played around with the capabilities. I started by exploring the program by putting together a very simple slide for practice. Once I felt better about the creation of the slides and understood the capabilities I designed what I wanted each slide to say on paper. I started in on my presentation and got stuck a couple of different times and had to call on a friend to explain things to me. I was able to add two hyperlinks to add video, cut and pasted pictures from the internet into my presentation, and created a table. I started using a template, but decided I would rather start from scratch so I could learn how to do background color and design the spacing myself. I feel much better about my ability to create and use power points. I started thinking that there are some lessons that I use in my classroom every year that I would like to try to create PowerPoints and they would always be ready. I found the Microsoft website very helpful in navigating the program
