HOW WE MET
We owe several friends and God himself a BIG THANK YOU for putting together all the conditions which caused us to be brought together.
Although we've known each other (of each other) for several months we never really took the time to talk (on the computer or in person) till one fateful night.- October 16th.
That's right folks, The night of Ashley's birthday party at Tulsa City Limits!
James was gentelman enough to come rescue me because I wanted to go to the "store" to get Ashley some "fun" gifts but didn't want to go alone...so out of despiration I logged on the computer to see who else was going to the party that wasn't already there. As fate would have it, he was the only one and graciously offered to come "save" me!!
We spent the night talking and laughing throughly enjoying each others company and our newfound friendship...then the dance happened...
I swear if I could point to one point in time that my heart just melted away that would be it...it's a shame that neither of us remembers the song that was playing!!
All I remember is feeling like he could see into my soul...the feel of his hands on my waist...the sound of his voice singing to me...*sigh*
Anyways, that as they say was that! We haven't been apart since and never want to be!
I guess you could say we've been like two peas in a pod! =o)
James proposed on November 6th in the car going to get the ring! It was one of those "Oh, by the way, will you marry me?" deals. Then he proposed again in Zales right after getting the ring as he slid it on my finger...it was the happiest moment of my life!!
