PSX
pg.2
Another great game that I''m currently playing. The story is good and everything else in it. This is my second favorite FF RPG.
This game is so lonnnnnggggg!!!!. I finally beat it. The last boss is very tough. I did start a new file to get into the bonus dungeons. I can't get in with the file where I beat the game because I missed some items I need to get to the bonus dungeons.
As of 7/08/03. I am currently playing this RPG. It is good, not great. The graphics are al-right, so is the sound and controls. However, what makes this game worth owning and playing is the battle system. I like the way it blends turn-based fighting with real-time action play.
I'm currently playing this game along with SO2, but I'm concentrating on SO2 more though. The graphics are nice and clear and so is the sound. The battle system is great and good fun. Good overall RPG, IMO.
Another Working Designs RPG that is also a great one!! And I thought Action RPGs are reserved for Zelda. This one is the best Action RPG for the PSX mind you.
My third Strategy RPG (first one was Hoshigami and man what a bad experience I had with that game, the second SRPG is Arc the Lad but it IS NOT BAD). Of course since this is known to be the best one out there for newbie SRPGers, like me, and for experts - I hope to have lots of fun with this game.
These 3 games to the left I got for Christmas.

The Chess game is pretty straight forward. I played actual chess before so I know the rules but I'm an amatuer at it. It has 9 characters you can play against all at different difficulty levels but they all tend to cheat. The multiplayer is the best because you get to play against a live opponent.

King of Fighters '99 is the first PSX fighting I have. I love the 2-d graphics. The NEO-GEO version is better looking but its only out in Japan and costs a lot of money but this port looks like it and so far I like this fighting game..

Puzzle Star Sweep is very fun. It is very challenging and addictive. It plays like teris but only in order to win you have to match up these rectangular blocks that have either one or two stars with its corresponding block color. In addition you get obstacles dropped on you which increases the challenge. This was a 3 pack collection that was a whoping $20 for all three.
This is another great RPG that I own. The graphics are all in 3d with the characters made up of 2D sprites (kinda like Dragon Warrior 7 but better looking). The combat system is very simple and fun. Unlike in other RPGs with random battles, in this one you get to avoid battles (except boss battles duh), which is great in my opinion.
Another Squaresoft RPG that I have yet to play because I'm busy playing the other RPGs that I have.
