Hey, Fred...your name appeared in the Tacoma newspaper this week, which lead me to look up your web site. Great site! MAN! Are you a BUSY guy! Your travels and accomplishments are wonderful to read about...only thing, you aren't scheduled to play in t e Seattle area. You probably don't remember my husband and me hearing you years ago with Janis Seigel (sp). We greatly enjoyed hearing your talent. As for myself, I'm into my 23rd year of teaching intermediate-age children. Been married for 16 years, ha e a 13 year-old son and an 8 year-old daughter. While I have never had the pleasure of hearing Fred in person, his music enchants me. I own a number of his CD's and I find that everytime I listen, his music and haunting arrangements touch me in new and different ways. I play the piano myself...and lis ening to Lotus Blossom and Embraceable You are the greatest sources of inspiration. I would love to be able to purchase an arrangement.... I'd like to be able to view your site without headaches... Seems that the address http://www.geocities.com/include/branding/aptex.js can't be found. I don't know if this is an ad that you put on your site, or one that GeoCities has inadvertently screwed p. Either way, I keep getting bounced to an error page saying that the above-mentioned link can't be found. In any case, here's to Fred getting his due! He's an amazing talent.

Great site! Fred sounds like a great musician, I'll be sure to check him out. Thanks for signing my Adam Trese guestbook, I like hearing from people who have actually heard of him.:) Rent his movie "The Saint of Fort Washington", it's a FANTASTIC movie ev n though Adam has a really small part. To actually see him act, rent "Palookaville" or "Laws of Gravity". Anyway, sign my other guestbook sometime if you can and keep up the good work!

Nice website. I've been a Fred Hersch fan for a few years now. He clearly deserves more attention from the jazz audience. If anyone knows Fred, please encourage him to plan a small Canadian tour. I've been waiting to see him live for quite a while. N ce to see he got a week at the Vanguard not long back.
