James was born on August 22, 2004 at 6:32 in the afternoon. He was 8 pounds, 9 ounces at birth, with blue eyes and red hair. There was a rainbow in the sky the afternoon before, as Karen was checking into the hospital. Talk about a good sign...

He's a happy little man! Very good natured, crawling everywhere, and he likes to stand up whenever he can.
