| Dr. James Gary Nelson earned a B.S. in Chemistry, and and M.S.A and a D.D.S. He was a major in the U.S. Army where he practiced dentistry. He lives in Sparks, Nevada, with his wife, Debbie, daughters, Sarah and Ashlie, and a cat, Rosie. Even though Gary can no longer practice dentistry, he is using his talents in dentistry by writing funny stories to motivate children to brush their teeth. |

| Debbie Bumstead Winans has earned a B.A. in art and an M.A. in English. She has previously illustrated children's books. She lives with her husband and their many pets in Reno, Nevada. Like the author, Debbie has a handicap -- she suffers from Huntington's Disease. But like the author, she doesn't let a handicap stop her from being creative. |
