| Your factory standard road-worthy vehicle, new or used. The idea is to demonstrate the vehicle can be driven around the world, (possibly several times), and yet come back with warranty left on it !! What better demonstration of reliability for your potential customers ? Maintenance / repairs where possible at your Dealerships along the route. The vehicle will be returned to you upon completion of the drive. Some modifications may be necessary, depending on the vehicle and countries visited, such as an extra fuel tank, and raised suspension (some countries and roads). A short orientation course at your dealer, for familiarity with basic maintenance and minor repairs to the vehicle while on the road. |

| This is a security deposit deposited with ATA Carnet, managed by USCIB. The form of deposit is flexible, and can be money left in your bank account, (earning interest for you in long-term deposit). The bank freezes the deposit and issues a letter of guarantee of funds to USCIB. The amount of deposit varies according to countries visited, and can range from zero (carnet not required), to generally 100% to 200% for Europe and Russia, with exceptions like 600% for Egypt.
