| The following is a list of supplies required for introduction to stagecraft. We will be using large tools and several sharp objects- safety is a must! All can be purchased at Wal-Mart or Lowe's for around $10. *safety glasses *utilty knife with extra blades *12" plastic ruler *plastic shoe box with lid *2 1/2 yards of fabric & one package of 1" elastic (to be purchased later- details to come) * mall low temp glue gun with mini glue sticks (optional) *colored pencils (minimum of twelve colors) and mini sharpener *old clothes or craft apron to be left in class for painting |

| ******************************************************* Stagecraft is the study of technical theatre. We will begin from the concept/creation of a production to the final moment after the show when the stage is cleared. In that time we will be involoved in formal productions as well as class projects. Areas to be explored: faux painting, fabric dying, set construction, costume creation, millinary, special effects, make-up design and application, mask making, sound effects, lighting design and much more. |
