Steps to remember

  1. Before any formula is started make sure you put a "=" sign first
        =D2*E2,  =D3*E3
  2. When entering formulas make sure the right row and column number match up
  3. Formula for total, =f2+f3+f4+f5 
  4. Formula for gains/loses =f9-f2, =f10-f3
  5. Formula total for gains/loses    =g2+g3+g4+g5+g6
