Hi!!!My name is Rayneida Francisco. I was born in the Dominican Republic in the tourist site of Puerto Plata. When I was 11 years old, I came to New York City. I have adjusted and adapted to this new place because it has opened many doors for me and I have met very wonderful people. I'm currently a senior in High School and looking forward to college. I got accepted to Boston College and I'm very excited about it.
I'm a member of the yearbook class. Instead of doing nothing in a service class i asked to be changed to yearbook because i wanted to actually learn something. right away i had to start creating a page and it took me sometime...i was completely lost. Francina helped me go through this transition and after a long time I got the hang of things. After the yearbook was done...Ms.Wang kept asking for a certain picture...well that's over now. Francina and I also did the September 11 page for the CD...we wanted the song for ENYA but we couldn't put it. Right now everyone has to do a webpage talking about their responsabilities and that's exactly what i'm doing. A survey was finalized in which 100 students were able to cast their vote on the teacher's stars of the whole school!!
I'm glad i got to be in this class, at least in the second semester. I learned how to use InDesign to do the yearbook eventhough I got to the class late, I did my fight to catch up. Later with the CD we worked with memory builder. There was a tutorial part which we were quizzed on and that way we were forced to learn how to use the new program. |
